Abstract

Learning activities can occur everywhere, including in the school environment. Learning activities in schools have various components that enable the emergence of student learning problems. These problems affect or even determine the quality of student learning outcomes. The Role of Guidance and Counseling, among them in the form of Content Mastery Services is needed to overcome these problems. This role becomes the main task of school counselors to optimize student learning outcomes. This article is a literature review. The results of the study show the discussion on the important role of Content Mastery Service on the quality of student learning activities in schools.

Abstract

The goal of counseling, among other thing,   is to develop an internal locus of control of a clients. Research, especially in western cultures, has shown that those with an internal locus of control were correlated to their characters, they are:  hard work, problem solving skilss, optimistic, engaging in social activities and high in achievement motivation. However, for clients who are not from western cultures a tendency to foster an internal locus of control in the counseling process should be considered properly. This paper describes how to  enhance client’s internal locus of control for those who do not embrace western cultures

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena adanya perbedaan yang cukup jelas pada perilaku sosial siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Mojolawaran Kecamatan Gabus Kabupaten Pati Tahun 2014. Beberapa siswa telah menunjukan perilaku sosial yang positif, tapi disisi lain masih banyak siswa dengan perilaku sosial negatif yang begitu sulit dikendalikan baik dari segi tingkah laku maupun dalam bertutur kata. Dengan arahan dan bimbingan yang sama dari guru, penulis menduga ada faktor lain yang mendasari perilaku social siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Keteladanan Orang Tua siswa SDN Mojolawaran Kecamatan Gabus Kabupaten Pati. 2) Perilaku Sosial Siswa SD Negeri Mojolawaran Kecamatan Gabus Kabupaten Pati. 3) Hubungan antara Keteladanan Orang Tua TerhadapPerilaku Sosial Siswa SD Negeri Mojolawaran Kecamatan Gabus Kabupaten Pati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif uji korelasi. Jumlah populasi yang sekaligus menjadi sempel 70 siswa. Variabel bebas (X) keteladanan orang tua, dan variable terikat (Y) perilaku sosial siswa. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, interview, angket, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan untuk kesesuaian instrument angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment yang disertai analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisa tiap variable penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan: 1) Tingkat Keteladanan Orang Tua siswa SD baik dengan prosentase mencapai 31,43%. 2) Tingkat Perilaku Sosial siswa juga baik dengan prosentase mencapai 34,29%. 3) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Keteladanan Orang Tua dengan Perilaku sosial siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,728 yang lebih besar dari rt= 0,235 (taraf signifikasi 5 %) dan    r = 0,306 (taraf signifikasi 1 %). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terbukti bahwa ada korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara keteladanan orang tua terhadap perilaku sosial siswa SD Negeri Mojolawaran Gabus Pati. Saran untuk Kepala Sekolah agar melaksanakan Tupoksi dengan baik, berterusterang pada bawahan jika ijin meninggalkan tugas, minta maaf jika melakukan kesalahan. Untuk guru: membiasakan masuk dan kellluar kelas tepat waktu, berterusterang pasa siswa jika meninggalkan kelas, mengkoreksi setiap tugas yang diberikan. Untuk orang tua: meluangkan waktu untuk keluarga, mendampingi dan menasehati anak ketika menonton televisi, menanyakan tentang pelajaran dan membantu kesulitan belajar anak. Untuk siswa: menaati dan melaksanakan setiap nasehat srta arahan yang baik dari orang tua dan guru, memperhatikan perilaku sosial masyarakat sekitar untuk meniru yang baiak dan menghindari yang kurang baik. Kata Kunci : keteladanan, perilaku social

Abstract

Internalization of conformity need to be developed in education. Development of internalization of conformity in school environment make students can optimize their internal ability to think, feel, consider everything in behaving to obey school rules. In fact the social causes make students adhere to school rules such as fear sanctioned, want to be praised. Shame ridiculed friends and others. This research aims to describe student’s internalization of conformity with the regulations of arrival and presence, rules in learning and common rules in school and their implications in guidance and counseling services. The method used is descriptive research. The instrument research is quistionnaire. The population in this research was all students MAN 1 Model Bukittinggi and samples are 90 people. The finding of the research revealed that  most of internalization of conformity student for rules relatively middle in schools relating to the regulation of arrival and presence, rules in learning and common rules in school.

Abstract

This study motivated by the low level of student motivation in mathematics subjects. The application of high-touch teachers and academic self-concept are factors that influence students' learning toward motivation in mathematics subjects. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method. The population of this study was all students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru totalling 1138 and 322 students were selected by using proportional stratified random sampling. The instruments used were questionnaires for the application of high scored teachers’, academic self-concept, and student learning motivation in mathematics subjects using a model Likert scale. The findings of the study were the application of high touch teachers in a good category, academic self-concept was in a fairly positive category, student motivation in mathematics subjects was in the high category, the application of high touch teachers and academic self-concept respectively contributes significantly positively to students' learning motivation on mathematics subjects.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has a gross impact on all aspects of life, including education. Therefore it provides convenience and flexibility in exploring science. However, information in Internet is not always verified. Therefore critical thinking is highly needed in dealing with these developments. The objective of this research was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills after participating in content mastery services with Internet-based problem learning models. This study is a Quasi-Experiment which uses quantitative methods and The Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were students of Public High School 2 in Padang. Furthermore, the research instrument used was a Likert model scale. Data analysis was performed with the aid of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Sample test. According to the research, content mastery services with Internet-based problem learning models are effective for improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims at disclosing and explicating the differences and comparison the students’ concentration prior to and after being given the service of the classical format counseling. The data were 6th Primary School Children of Pembangunan Lab School Universitas Negeri Padang totaling 20 participants. The instruments made uses of collecting the data were observation sheets. The data analysis is undertaken using paired sample t statistics whilst for the pair samples is to test the difference the mean of the two samples. The method used is One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Orang Jompo Di Panti (Studi Kasus Di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang), dilatarbelakangi oleh pemikiran yang mendasar bahwa membangun keluarga bahagia dan sejahtera merupakan tujuan setiap orang. Untuk mewujudkan keluarga yang bahagia, Islam mengaturnya dengan hak dan kewajiban antar anggota keluarga termasuk di dalamnya kewajiban anak terhadap orang tua. Sementara itu, realitas yang berkembang, banyak anak yang menitipkan orang tua ke panti jompo. Melihat kenyataan ini timbullah pertanyaan mengenai alasan anak dalam menitipkan orang yang kemudian dihubungkan dengan perlindungan hukum terhadap orang jompo di panti.  Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai bagaimana pola perlindungan hukum bagi orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang, dan Apa saja langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam membina orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang, serta bagaimana perspektif maqâshid al-syarî’ah terhadap pola perlindungan hukum dan pembinaan orang jompo di Panti Jompo Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dimana data-data dikumpulkan dengan cara mengamati/observasi dan wawancara .Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pola perlindungan hukum orang jompo di panti adalah Perlindungan hukum yang bermakna; terdiri dari dua suku kata yaitu Perlindungan dan Hukum. Artinya, perlindungan menurut hukum dan undang-undang yang berlaku. Pengertian perlindungan hukum adalah suatu perlindungan yang diberikan terhadap subyek hukum dalam bentuk perangkat hukum baik yang bersifat preventif maupun yang bersifat represif, baik yang tertulis maupun tidak tertulis. Dengan kata lain perlindungan hukum sebagai suatu gambaran dari fungsi hukum., yaitu konsep dimana hukum dapat memberikan suatu keadilan, ketertiban, kepastian, kemanfaatan dan kedamaian. Adapun perlindungan hukum terhadap orang jompo di panti jompo dalam perspektif maqasid al-syari’ah yaitu perlindungan yang diberikan kepada orang jompo di panti oleh para petugas  yang diberi tugas untuk melindungi, melalui pembinaan baik fisik maupun mental yang berkaitan dengan kemaslahatannya, bagaimana hak-hak yang tetap melekat pada orang jompo dalam kaitannya dengan hak pemeliharaan agama (hifz} al-din), hak pemeliharaan jiwa (hifz al-nafs), hak pemeliharaan akal pikiran (hifz al-‘aq).

Abstract

The importance of group counseling service in solving student’s problem is not demied. The purpose of this research is to reveal the advantage of group counseling service to solve student’s problem in privat, social, and study point of view. Results of this research show that students are agreed with some advantages in group counseling service that are: (1) solving student’s problem in privat aspect which is viewed from self, friendship, family aspects, (2) solving student’s problem in social aspect that viewed from interaction and adaptation with environment, (3) solving student’s problem from study aspect that viewed from aspects of completing tasks, motivation in learning, and god study manners.

Abstract

The teenager who have more motivation in studying will do many activities that be useful in learning process. If they are able to think and make sure about their will have more motivation to study, have a good socialization and can manage their passion. The purpose of the research is analyzing about correlation between self-esteem with motivation in studying of  teenage orphanage ‘Aisyiyah Lubuk Bagalung Padang. Kind of research is quantitative by using correlation descriptive. The subjects of the research are 30 students. The instruments are inventory and questionnaires. The result of the research shows that there are correlation between self-esteem and motivation in studying significantly by lowing correlation.
