Abstract

This study attempts to discuss the existence of logic and passion in deciding moral values and to what extent ethical thought of Ibu Miskawaih dan JJ Rousseau, can give contribution to the modern life. It is a library research with descriptive and critical comparative analysis. The results of this study show that both lbu Miskawaih and JJ Rousseau achtowledge thefunction of logic (reasoning) in creating moral behavior. Human beings need passion for their perfection in life. The dialectic between brain and passion signrficantly determines the quality of the produced good deeds and morality. The results of this study recommend that brain and passion are not the only things determining morality but there are other elements, which is what the heart says, the aworeness andfreedom. This study needs to befollowed up due to the huge problem of ethics.

Abstract

Indonesian  ideal   of  national  education  demands   contained in  the   legislation of  the   republic of  Indonesia  NO.20 of  2003  on National Education  System  requires bom   protege  of  the  national education system  is  a protege of  the  faithful,   devoted  to  God Almighty,    noble,   healthy,    knowledgeable,     capable,   creative, independent,     and     become    citizens    of     a    democratic    and responsible.   The   curriculum as  a  guideline  implementation  of educational  activities  has   been   trying to  implement  the  demands of the  national educational ideal, but  in  the  last few   yeaTS what   it was   designed and   implemented  by  a guidance curriculum has  not been  fully   produce  in  accordance  with   the   dem.ands  of  national education in the  republic of Indonesia  Law  No. 20  in 2003. Curriculum 2013 is designed  to be  able  to bring  the  national education   towards   achieving   the   ideal    of   national  education demands    both   in  terms  of  cognitive  abilities, psychomotor   and affective dynamics  of life in  the  increasinqlu fierce global world .. Especially   on   affective   competencies   in   the    Curriculum 2013 actually got  Q   P€ry s, a egic place  for  the  successful  achievement of   the   purpose   of   the    national   education.    The    achievement explicitly resting intact on  KI.1  and  KI.2  KI.  3.  and  KI. 4 in  which the first   two  KI KI basis for.  3 and  KI. 4 Observing  the   characteristics  of  Curriculum 2013  through the  achievement  of the  core  competencies is the  one  explicitly said that    the    curriculum  2013   will   undoubtedly   give    birth   to   the students   who   have   the  maturitu  of personal  morality  and   social morality-global.   through" placement    KI.1     and    KI.    2   on   each competency   to   be   achieved   by   the   students   in   their   learning experience

Abstract

The hermeneutic of al-Q­ur’an that is set forward by Hasan Hanafi seeks such as an interpretation of Qur’anic texts whose methodology which is oriented to liberate the life of people from despotism, cruelty, underdevelopment and stupidity become that of a justice, a liberty and a development. For Hasan Hanafi this hermeneutic is not only the interpretations technique that is methodical orientation to an objectively theorizing as being in theoretical hermeneutic or the philosophical interpretation as being in philosophical hermeneutic, but also, it is an instrument that serves on an interest activism critically and emancipatory for the current human life. The hermeneutic of al-Qur’an in which has three stages namely the historical critic, the eidetic and the activism, according to Hasan Hanafi can make meaning of the Quran’s verses in function very well for disappearing despotism. Nevertheless, it also certainly opens to opportunity to reduce meaning of the ethical temporal rightness. For prohibiting to this such implications should have been needed to use dialectics in analyzing khair li zatihi and khair li ghairihi.

Abstract

Profession ethics in a professional vocation that is something demanded is not only containing moral rules for members and organizers of the certain profession, but also as tools for the wide community to understand and evaluate moral quality of such profession. Furthermore, the most important further is ability to think reflectively-ethics on ethical codes of their profession. Through such of thinking, they will be able to think philosophically-jurisprudence, diligent, and inclusive by reference to religious norms, law, and social setting that can yield moral-ethical behavior and moral wises.

Abstract

Implementation of the clarification of values in learning and the functionalization of Islamic ethics: Morality is inseparable from the development of human existence. Perhaps, it is not excessive to say that human existence is basically morality. Developing critical and dialogical thinking towards ideas and cultures beyond  the Islamic teaching in an effort to build ethical thinking and methodologies in its application in learning and developing students’ moral values in particular and moral education in general seems to be a necessity which cannot be neglected. This is because the product of thinking is normally produced for the interest and consumption of the community at large who have different cultures, ways of life, ambitions and beliefs. Also, an ideology comes up as a result of the idealistic desire of the thinking itself. The application of the clarification of values and the concept of Islamic ethics (which has, from the beginning, been based on ahkam al-syari’ah) has planted the moral values in the students’ minds in the form of moral behaviour, honesty, and intelligence, not in the form of knowledge of morality either verbal or mechanical.
