Abstract

Abstract; Telling story is one of the language skills which has an important role for the mental retarded children. Based on the primary observation, low mental retarded children get difficulties to tell about the animals’ name and their characteristics. Therefore, the appropriate method is used in their teaching and learning process. That is study tour method. This research aims to analyze the effect of study tour for the low mental retarded students’ telling story skill before and after they are given action.This research uses pseudo quantitative research and the pre experiment design: pre test ad post test. There are 6 low mental retarded children at fifth grade of Dharma Wanita Lebo inclusive school who become the subject of this research. There are test, documentation, and observation as the data collecting method. The data analysis techniques are non parametric statistic and sign test.Based on the data analysis, the score of the students’ study result of the telling story skill by using study tour method is improved around 22.2%. Based on the non parametric statistic and sign test, Zh is 2.05. It is bigger than the critical Z score in one side test 1.64. Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant effect of the study tour method for the low mental retarded children’s telling story skill at fifth grade of Dharma Wanita Lebo inclusive school C Sidoarjo.Keywords : study tour method, telling story skill

Abstract

Abstract: Reading comprehension is the reading activities which include their good understanding of the meaning implied by the written form. Low mental retarded children absolutely need reading skill in order to understand what they are reading. Therefore, they do not only read but also they will  understand what they are reading to support their learning achievement. Considering their lack of reading skill (understand the content and meaning of words in reading), their reading constraints must be decreased by developing their reading skill to the positiuve way. One of the ways is by using poem. Poem is used as the learningmedia to deliver their feeling and emotions, such as love, care, anxiety, anger, sadness, happiness, sympathy, and miss someone. It will create the beauty of the poem if it is read well and correctly. The research aims to find the effect of poem for the low mental retarded children’s reading skill at fourth grade of Gedangan State inclusive xchool Sidoarjo. Yhe data collecting methods are test and observation simply as a support. This research is pre experiment research by using one group pre test and post test design. It is conducted to compare the condition before and after the action. There are 6 low mental retarded children who experience barriers to understand the content and meaning of words in poem of inclusive primary school who become the subject of this research. This research uses the saturated sampling because all of the population is used as the sample. Therefore, all of the samples are given the action. The result got from sign test shows that Zh is 2,04. It is bigger than the critical score Za 5% 1,96. Therefore, it can be concluded that the poem has significant effect for the low mental retarded children at fourth grade of Gedangan Inclusive School Sidoarjo.   Keyword: poem, reading comprehension

Abstract

AbstractMild mental retardation in children less vocabulary resulted in difficulty in abstract thinking. Indirect mild mental retardation children can master the skills intact because the child usually can only learn the skills it teaches. So the activity of making fruit syrups using learning Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) is one of mild mental retardation learning so that children understand the meaning of teaching materials by linking to daily life, so that the child has mental retardation dynamic knowledge or skills.The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of learning Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) against fruit syrup-making skills in children at SMALB mild mental retardation. This study uses pre-experiment, using "the one-group pretest-posttest design". Data collection techniques by using tests and observation techniques. The subjects used were mild mental retardation children. Analysis of research data using non-parametric statistical types "mark test".Based on the data analysis of pre-test and post test results obtained in this study with known ZH n = 6, X = 5.5, the critical value = 5%, σ = 1.22, μ = 3. The results obtained in testing the two sides is ZH = 2.05 and compared with the Z table = ± 1.96 is ZH> Z tables, which means that Ho is rejected Ha accepted. Abstract

Abstract The board of director who becomes the part of the organ limited liability company (PT) , gets the responsibilities to represent  PT inside or outside the court. The unpaid debts is the example of the law case  that becomes the board of director’s responsibility. The unpaid debts cause bankrupted the company.The aim of this study is to know about the board of director’s responsibility in the bankruptcy of the limited liability company.The result of the study is that, the board of director’s must share the responsibility in the bankruptcy of the limiteted liability company when it because of the his mistakes and the company’s is not enough to pay the debts. Key words : Limited liability company , the board of director, bankruptcy Abstrak Direksi adalah salah satu organ PT  yang bertugas untuk mewakili PT di dalam maupun diur pengadilan. Abstract

Abstract; Reading skill for beginners is one of the problem often faced by the mild mentally retarded children. One way to solve it is through Orton-Gillingham approach for the dyslexia which is applied to the mild mentally retarded children in SLB C Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo. This research aims to find out the effect of Orton-Gillingham approach for the mild mentally retarded children’s reading skill for beginners.This research is quantitative approach and pre experiment research. The design of research is used “one group, pre test – pos test design”. The data collecting techniques are used tes and documentation method. The non parametric statistic is used to analyze data. It is assisted by sign test.The result shows that the score in the pre test is 51,6. It become 74,4 in the post test. Z table of 5% in the two side test is 1,96. Zh is 2,05. Therefore, it can be conclude that there is a significant effect of Orton-Gillingham approach for mild mentally retarded children’s skill reading for beginners in SLB C Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo. Abstract

Abstract; This research was an attempt  to find out an alternative to improve student competency and to solve the learning problem in the class, because the researcher use PTK ( Classroom Action Research ). It held by two Cyclus. And the cylus consist of three meeting and act in the class. So the cyclus have three test. Data collecting obtain sheet observation method and test.  Data was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative’s descriptive. Based on result of data analyze, it can be conclude as follow student comprehension of vocabulary. The subject of matter was Bahasa Indonesia, through the method applying role play to upgrade verbal and vocabulary for mental retardation grade IX SMPLB-C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II Surabaya. The increase of comprehension Mastery learning 80 % on 2nd meeting 3th.  The result revealed that through apply Role Play could be reach and  upgrade Verbal And Vocabulary also minimize false of the student to learn vocabulary’s symbol for Mental Retardation Grade IX SMPLB-C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II  Surabaya.   Abstrak; Penelitian ini merupakan upaya pemecahan masalah belajar siswa di kelas, sehingga peneliti menggunakan penelitian tindakan  kelas.Pelaksanaannya terdiri dari dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan ( tindakan ), sehingga tiap siklus diadakan tiga kali tes .Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode observasi , dan tes. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan analisis secara kuantitatif dan analisis secara kualitatif. Dari analisis data didapatkan hasil bahwa, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman kosakata dalam pelajaran bhasa indonesia melalui penerapan metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas IX SMPLB C Alpa Kumara Wardhan II Surabaya. Peningkatan pemahaman itu dibuktikan dengan pencapaian target belajar tuntas sebesar 80 % pada siklus 2  pertemuan 3. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meningkatkan pemahaman melalui penelitian  tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan pendekatan bermain peran dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata pada siswa Tuna Grahita Kelas IX SMPLB C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II Surabaya. Dengan Menerapkan pendekatan bermain peran dapat meminimalkan kesalahan siswa Tunagrahita kelas IX dalam menyatakan lambang kosakata.   Kata kunci: Bermain peran, kosakata, anak tunagrahita

Abstract

  Abstract             Mentally retardation children were individual who clearly had obstacle and retardation of mental intellectual development under average so that they had difficulty in finishing their tasks. One of the tasks wh ich was not mastered by the second class of mild mentally retardation children in SLB – ABC Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya was wearing and releasing shirt ability. The wearing and releasing shirt ability was one of the necessities to cover the body so that appeared interesting which was done routinely. If the wearing and releasing shirt ability had difficulty, it would prevent the ability in doing tasks or daily activity. The individual could not live autonomously and would rely on other people forever. The purpose  in this research was to know the enhancement of wearing and releasing shirt ability through self guide training to the second class of mild mentally retardation in SLB – ABC Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya. The design of this research used class treatment in the from of cycle which consisted of four steps those were planning, treatment, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique used observation while to analyze the data obtained it was used analysis data with percentage. The research result could be viewed that there was enhancement of wearing And releasing shirt ability from the pre cycle result 31,25% cycle I was 53,51% in the cycle II it enhanced 73,83%. From the result obtained, learning through self guide training to mentally retardation children got enhancement especially in wearing and releasing shirt ability. The result conclusion was that learning wearing and releasing shirt to the second class of mild mentally retardation children in SLB – ABC Purna Yuda Bhakti Surabaya had enhancement.   Key Words : Wearing and releasing shirt, self guide

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan aspek kognitif khususnya materi matematika dalam konsep banyak sedikit, membilang banyak benda satu sampai sepuluh, dan pengenalan bilangan 1-10 untuk anak jalanan usia 4-5 tahun  di Sanggar Alang-alang Surabaya. Di Sanggar Alang-alang yang mana cara dalam mengembangkannya dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan model pembelajaran langsung. Pemahaman dalam hal mengenal konsep banyak sedikit, membilang banyak benda satu sampai sepuluh, dan pengenalan bilangan 1-10 haruslah sampai kepada anak. Model pembelajaran ini digunakan setiap dalam kegiatan untuk anak jalanan usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan konsep banyak dan sedikit, konsep membilang banyak benda satu sampai sepuluh, konsep mengenal bilangan 1-10  pada anak jalanan usia 4-5 tahun di Sanggar Alang-alang Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak jalanan usia 4-5 tahun di Sanggar Alang-alang Surabaya berjumlah 8 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data model Miles and Huberman dimana terdapat empat langkah dalam menganalisis data, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan menarik kesimpulan/verifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data selama proses kegiatan pembelajaran terlihat bahwa kedelapan anak sudah menunjukkan kemampuannya dengan cukup baik dalam konsep banyak sedikit, membilang benda satu sampai sepuluh, dan mengenal bilangan 1-10. Hal ini karena pemanfaatan model pembelajaran langsung yang cocok dan mudah dipahami anak jalanan yang berada di Sanggar Alang-alang Surabaya. Serta lingkungan mereka yang sebagian waktunya dihabiskan di jalanan, dari lingkungan sekitar mereka menjadi model pembelajaran secara tidak langsung yang akhirnya mereka mempelajari dan menirunya.   Kata kunci: kognitif, model pembelajaran langsung   Abstract This research was formed background by learning activity to develop cognitive aspect in recognizing many few concept, counting many things one to ten, and recognizing number 1-10 to vagrant children of 4-5 years old in Alang-alang Studio Surabaya where the way to develop them by exploiting the usage of direct learning model. The understanding in recognizing many few concepts, counting many things one to ten, recognizing number 1-10 should reach the children. This learning model was used every activity to vagrant children of early age. This research purpose was to describe many and few concept, counting many things one to ten, recognizing number 1-10 to vagrant children of 4-5 years old in Alang-alang Studio Surabaya. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of research to vagrant children of 4-5 years old in Alang-alang Studio Surabaya was 8 children. The data collection method use observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman model in which there were four steps in analyzing data i. e. data collection, data reduction, data display, and making conclusion/verification. Based on the research result and data analysts during learning activity process it appread that eight students had their ability well enough in many-few concept, counting many things one to ten, and recognizing number 1-10. This happened because the exploiting direct learning model was suitable and easy to understand for vagrant children who were in Alang-alang Studio Surabaya and their environment where they spent a part of time became learning indirectly which they eventually learnt and imitated. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bilangan dan mengenal lambang bilangan anak usia 4-5 tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak Putera Harapan Gresikan Surabaya. Salah satu cara dalam mengembangkan kemampuan anak dalam membilang dan mengenal lambang bilangan yaitu dengan media sempoa. Namun, dalam keseharian media ini hanya digunakan sebagai kegiatan ekstrakulikuler bukan sebagai media permanen yang bisa digunakan setiap hari dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan stimulasi kemampuan konsep bilangan dan mengenal lambang bilangan melalui media sempoa dan mendeskripsikan peranan media sempoa bagi anak usia 4-5 tahun TK Putera Harapan Gresikan Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari data reduction, data display dan conclution drawing/verification. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data selama proses pembelajaran terlihat bahwa 8 anak sudah mulai menunjukkan kemampuannya dalam membilang dan lambang melambangkan dengan menggunakan media sempoa. Sedangkan 2 anak yang lain masih memerlukan bimbingan dalam kemampuan konsep bilangan dan mengenal lambang bilangan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan bilangan dan mengenal lambang bilangan anak di TK Putera Harapan Gresikan Surabaya mengalami peningkatan melalui stimulasi menggunakan media sempoa.Kata kunci: Bilangan dan lambang bilangan, Media sempoaAbstract  This research was based on the learning to develop numbers and number symbol ability to 4-5 years old children in Putera Harapan Gresikan kindergarten Surabaya. One of the way to developed children ability in counting and symbolizing is using abacus as the media.But, in daily activity, this media used as extracurricular only not as the permanent media which is used everyday in the daily learning. The purposes of this research is to describe the stimulating of number concept and understanding symbolof number by abacus as the media and to describe the role of abacus media to 4-5 years old children in Putera Harapan Kindergarten Gresikan Surabaya. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The study subject was 10 children. The data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation. The data collection technique used Miles and Huberman model in three steps consist of data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. Based on the research result and analysis during learning process, it is found that 8 children had begun to indicate their ability in counting and number symbol by using abacus media. Meanwhile the 2 other still need guiding in counting and number symbol ability. It is prove that the understanding of number and symbol number to children in Putera Harapan Kindergarten Gresikan Surabaya had increased by using abacus as the media.Keywords: Numbers and number symbol, Abacus media
