Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this study were 1) analyzing the effect of job relevant information on employee participation; 2) analyzing the effect of social desirability on employee participation; 3) analyzing the effect of job relevant information on employee’s performance; 4) analyzing the effect of social desirability on employee’s performance; 5) analyzing the effect of employee participation on employee’s performance. This study is a part of explanatory and confirmatory research. The samples in this research were 103 employee of PT Harfam jaya Makmur. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that; 1) job relevant information had significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur: 2) social desirability has significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 3) job relevant information has significant effect on employee’s performance in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 4) social desirability hasn’t significant effect on employee’s participation in PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 5) employee’s participation has significant effect on performance of PT Harfam Jaya Makmur Jaya Makmur. The conclusions in this study were job relevant information and social desirability has significant effect on employee’s participation as well as job relevant information has significant effect on employee’s performance. In the other hand, social desirability has no significant effect on employee’s participation, and then employee’s participation has significant effect on performance of PT Harfam Jaya Makmur Jaya Makmur. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 2) keinginan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 3) informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 4) keinginan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur; 5) partisipasi karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Harfam Jaya Makmur. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa informasi relevansi pekerjaan dan keinginan sosial berpengaruh signifikan  terhadap partisipasi karyawan, begitu juga dengan informasi relevansi pekerjaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, lain halnya dengan keinginan sosial yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kemudian partisipasi karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Harfam Jaya Makmur.Kata kunci: informasi relevansi pekerjaan, keinginan sosial, partisipasi karyawan dan kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Abstrak. Pelaksanaan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) akan dimulai pada awal 2016 sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang ditandatangai oleh semua Kepala Negara ASEAN. Salah satu kesepakatan dalam MEA adalah aliran bebas tenaga kerja ahli dan trampil termasuk di bidang jasa Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM). Praktisi MSDM di Indonesia tidak sepenuhnya siap menghadapi persaingan yang semakin terbuka ini. Kompetensi praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di Indonesia perlu diteliti secara mendalam untuk mengetahui keberadaannya dilihat dari sisi praktisi MSDM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda statistik deskriptif untuk memetakan pendapat, persepsi, dan opini praktisi MSDM tentang kompetensinya. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi praktisi MSDM di Jabodetabek serta kota-kota besar di pulau Jawa, sesuai dengan lokasi utama organisasi/perusahaan swasta. Kerangka sampling yang dipergunakan adalah purposive non random sampling yang ditujukan pada anggota Perhimpunan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (PMSM) Indonesia melalui studi kuisioner secara online. Responden yang telah mengisi kuisioner secara lengkap sebanyak 250 orang. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang pendidikan yang berkarir di MSDM beragam dari berbagai lulusan dan didominasi dari Jurusan Manajemen, kemudian disusul Psikologi, Teknik, dan Hukum. Evolusi profesi MSDM di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar praktisi MSDM Indonesia (35%) masih terlibat dalam aktivitas administrasi dan Hubungan Industrial, sebanyak 21% sudah terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan yang strategis, dan 20% sudah bertindak sebagai mitra strategis dan agen perubahan. Standar kompetensi praktisi MSDM beserta program pengembangan dan sertifikasinya dipersepsikan sangat penting serta memiliki urgensi yang tinggi untuk dikembangkan, walaupun pemerataan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi tersebut tidak merata di seluruh Indonesia. Organisasi/perusahaan telah memberikan penghargaan yang signifikan pada profesi MSDM dengan 34,8% posisi tertingginya berada di level direktur, 14% berada di posisi general manager, dan 32,4% di posisi manajer. Lebih dari setengah responden menyatakan kurang siap menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA), sehingga proses percepatan pengembangan kompetensi praktisi MSDM di Indonesia perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya dalam kompetisi regional dan global.Kata kunci: Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN, kompetensi, praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Indonesia, purposive non random sampling, statistik deskriptif.Abstract. ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be implemented at the early 2016 referred to the agreement signed by all ASEAN countries leaders. One of the agreement content is the free flow of skilled labor including Human Resources (HR) professional. Indonesias HR practitioners are not fully ready to face this upcoming more open competition. HR professional competency in Indonesia needs to be examined deeply to find its existence to be seen from HR practitioners point of view. This research uses descriptive statistic method to map ideas, perceptions, and opinions from HR practitioners pertaining their competencies. Respondents come from Jabodetabek area and the big cities in Java Island due to the main location of private companies. Sampling frame is purposive non random sampling to cover members of Indonesia HR Management Association via online questionnaire study. There are 250 respondents who filled the questionnaries completely. Research findings show that the educational background of Indonesias HR practitioners is various and dominated by Management, then followed by Psychology, Technic, and Law. HR evolution in Indonesia indicates mostly being exposed in administration dan industrial relations (35%), 21% has been involved in strategic decision making process, and 20% has demonstrated as strategic partner and change agent. HR competency standard and its development and certification programs are perceived very important and urgent to be developed further, although the uqualization of development opportunity is not well distributed across Indonesia areas. Organization/company has already showed significant recognition to HR profession by giving the highest position at director level (34,8%), General Manager (14%), and Manager (32,4%). More than half respondent stated not ready to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), however the acceleration process of HR practitioners competency development program needs to be done in order to enhance the competitiveness in regional and global competition.Keywords: ASEAN Economic Community, competency, descriptive statistic, Indonesias Human Resources practitioner, purposive non random sampling.

Abstract

Nutmeg oil production generates waste in the form of residue distillation are containingcompound trimeristin. Innovation in the waste utilization by producing transparent herbal soapsusing the microwave method for the transesterification process. The production process usesmicrowave method requires a short time, costs and energy are small and good quality is a strength indeveloping product . This product has a market opportunity because it can compete with otherproducts, the advantages that are the effects of aromatherapy herbal ingredients.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to descripe how a knowledge management plays a role in thedevelopment of new products with the determining of soy milk consumer characteristics andproduct characteristics by Kano method. Knowledge is a basic in decision making for newproduct development. Analysis conducted for costomer characteristic determination bydetermining costumer atribute influence buying decision and costomer clasification. Productcharacteristic in this paper uses Kano Method. The result of analysis of product characteristicshowed that halal labeling, soybean picture in packaging, inclusion of business address, ,inclusion of nutrient information, medium sweetness level are characteristic required to newproduct development of soy milk.

Abstract

Innovation has developed nanoparticle technology in agriculture, environment,electronics, optical, and biomedical. Nanoparticle technology advancement can be achievedwith the full support of the industry, academic and government. Technological innovation isone of the main factors driving competition. Proven technological innovation plays animportant role in encouraging industrial structure changes even the creation of newindustries. With nanometer-scale particles, will produce a new type of material is super, suchas the level of violence, power delivery, and magnetic properties. Excess it will producequality products, which is not easy to wear, because the energy-saving heat-resistant, anddoes not require refrigeration. Thus, it will save operational and maintenance costs as wellas environmentally friendly. Changes in the functional properties of nanoparticles can be acompetitive product. Government policy, industry, research and education institutions andcommunities in Indonesia in the field of nano technology is not enough to make Indonesia asone of the important players in the technology. Starch as a raw material widely available innature and is the second largest biomass in nature makes a good substrate for thepreparation of nanoparticles.

Abstract

Permintaan pasar dunia akan produk karet merupakan peluang yang cukup besarbagi negara Indonesia. Areal karet Indonesia paling luas di dunia, yang diikuti Thailand danMalaysia, namun produktivitas karet alam Indonesia lebih rendah dibandingkan Thailanddan Malaysia yang memiliki luas perkebunan lebih kecil di banding Indonesia. Sistemagroforestry diyakini secara luas memiliki potensi besar sebagai alternatif pengelolaanlahan yang utama untuk konservasi tanah dan juga pemeliharaan kesuburan danproduktifitas lahan di daerah tropis. Oleh sebab itu petani untuk menerapkan paket teknologidengan modifikasi tepat sehingga mendapatkan pengetahuan secara ilmiah. RubberAgroforestry System (RAS), adalah teknologi yang mengintroduksikan bahan tanam karetklonal ke dalam agroforest karet.

Abstract

Innovation is a research, development, and/or engineering which aims to develop thepractical application of values and context of new knowledge, or new ways to apply science andtechnology that has existed in the product or production process. Anti-cellulite innovationdevelopment based on market opportunities, goals and objectives nanoencaptulation producean anti-cellulite product using nano technology. Factors thought to influence innovation incompanies such as leadership styles, personal characteristics and dynamics of the environmentand the user market factors. In an innovation planning of nanoencaptulation should attention tothe functional aspects of a component, part of the whole system works. The main purpose offunctional analysis and design stage is to define the interaction of each component with eachother.

Abstract

Dairy product innovation has potential to be developed to overcome the problems of lowquality of dairy produced by the farmers. This leads to rejection of dairy by the dairy containerKoperasi Unit Desa (KUD) before getting to the Industri Pengolahan Susu (IPS) and eventuallywasted. Innovation processed products are studied in this paper is a product processed at the levelof UKM using simple processing technology. Product innovation is needed to survive in thecompetitive market, but on the other hand, an important aspect in the success of innovation thatshould be considered is the risk factor. The purpose of writing this paper is to perform a riskassessment innovation dairy cows by stage approach to innovation management processcomprising the step of searching, selection, implementation and learning. Innovation risks areidentified and analyzed based on risk inovation category consists of environmental innovation,technical resources, integration, management, marketing and strategy. The next stage is measuredand analyzed by two-dimensional measurement of the value of the probability and severity values.Furthermore the final stage of this study is to determine the risk management recommendations aremade based in the value of the ranking value risk exposure.
