Abstract

Abstract: Dorsal Recumbent Position, lithotomy position, state of the Perineum. The purpose of this study to determine the differences in the state of the perineum with a dorsal recumbent and lithotomy position and know the long second stage with a dorsal recumbent position and lithotomy in maternal PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Delanggu Klaten. This study uses the analytical method with the cross sectional approach. Samples taken in this study with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using the statistical test Chi-Square test (α 0.05). The results showed that there was no significant difference in the state of the perineum in childbirth dorsal recumbent position and lithotomy position on the second stage of labor.Abstrak: Posisi Dorsal Recumbent, Posisi litotomi, Keadaan Perineum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan keadaan perineum dengan posisi dorsal recumbent dan litotomi dan mengetahui lama kala II dengan posisi dorsal recumbent dan litotomi pada ibu bersalin di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Delanggu Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan pendekatan waktu cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik yaitu uji Chi–Square (α 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna keadaan perineum pada posisi persalinan dorsal recumbent dan posisi litotomi pada persalinan kala II.

Abstract

Abstract: Jamu Instant Powder, Dragon Fruit Super Red, Stevia, Physical Test, Antioxidant, Hedonic. Dragon fruit super red has antioxidant activity, so dragon fruit super red formulated in jamu instant powder dosage form because can be usefull to society without brewing before with natural sweetener stevia leaf. The aim of this research to know formulation jamu instant powder dosage form antioxidant dragon fruit super red with natural sweetener stevia leaf and hedonic test and test of antioxidant activity. This study was descriptive study and laboratory design. The evaluation included physical test is water content, flowability time, angel of repose, uniformity of weight, organoleptic dan pH; antioxidant activity with IC50 parameters, hedonic measurement with hedonic scale. The result showed physical test jamu instant powder included water content 1,85%; flowability time 35,97 second; angel of repose 37,34°, uniformity of weight 1,01775 gram, organoleptic is purplish red of colour, unpleasant odour, soft of textur dan sweet of taste; and result of pH 4,47. The result measurement antioxidant activity had coverage categories antioxidant activity with IC50 at 132,125 ppm. Hedonic test results of colour indicators 63,3% of respondents are very like, from the colour indicators 46,7% of the respondents are did not like, from the taste indicators 46,7% of the respondent are like, while texture indicators 50% are like.Keywords : Jamu Instant Powder, Dragon Fruit Super Red, Stevia, Physical Test,Antioxidant, Hedonic

Abstract

Abstract: Hair Un-Balder, Waru Leaves-Java Tamarind, Mikroemulsion, Gel. Waru leaves proven as hair unbalder while Java Tamarind  as deterrents loss of hair. Gel and mikroemulsion  formula  to Waru leaves anda Java Tamarind extract can increase selling value.This research was a true  experimental research  by one shot case study design where research to be done on gel and mikroemulsion formula with combination of ethanol maceration extract  of Waru leaves  and Java Tamarind as active ingredient  and The Static Group Comparison for the hair growth activity test  using tanaka methods with  male rabbit as trial animal. The  best gel and mikroemulsion formula were  the formula that have  stability of the physical test. Hair growth activity test against gel and mikroemulsion each have p-value 0.006 and 0.000 with maximum activity in extract of waru leaves – Java Tamarind combination 2:1. T-test between gel and mikroemulsion preparation have p-value 0.901. The conclusion of this research where  the best formula of  gel was  formula that contain  quaternary CMC Na:Tween 80:Propilengliko = 7:15:15,  while the best formula of mikroemulsion  was containing tween 80:propilenglikol =37:15. Gel  and mikroemulsion  equally have the in vivo hair growth activity  in the concentration comparison of 2:1. There was no distinction  of the in vivo hair growth activity between gel and mikroemulsion

Abstract

Abstract : Quality Evaluation, Ointments, Kaemferia Galanga, Curcuma Domestica, Curcuma Heynena. Indonesia is a country with very high biodiversity. In the high diversity of the stored potential nutritious plants that can be explored and exploited further. Community began to realize the use of chemicals to cope with life problems, especially health problems, in addition to expensive, can also result in less side effects both for humans. This study used a extract Curcuma domestica, Kaemferia galanga, and Curcuma heynena as active ingredients skin ointments. This study intends to determine the third quality evaluation ointment. This type of research was descriptive. Quality evaluation results showed nearly the same physical properties, except for the parameters of the spread, and viscosity. Abstract

Absctract: Citrus hystrix, Biolarvicides. Insectisides and pestisides were used as larvicides to control mosquito vector Aedes aegypti particularly. Some research suggested there had been a larvae resistance to pesticides. Biolarvicides with basic ingredients plant was another alternative that can be used. Lime (Citrus hystrix) was one of plants that often used as biolarvicides, both lits fruit and leaves. This paper aimed to know about chemical compound in lime and its potential as biolarvicidal. Research methods was literature review from several research journals. The results showed that the presence of coumpounds were essential oil, flavonoids, saponins, terpeesn, limonoids, citronellal, linalool, citronellol, acetate citronelil, kariofilin and geraniol. LC50 of lime leaves as biolarvicides againts the third instar larvae of Aedes aegypti was 279.882 ppm, biolarvicides oxicity values (LC90) was 4000 ppm with the lethal time (LT90) was 12.67 hours. Based on results of this study concluded that the presence of the chemical content of Citrus hystrix plant potential as biolarvicides.Keyword : Citrus Hystrix, Biolarvicides

Abstract

Abstrack : Physical Characteristic, Qualitative Terpenoid Experiment, Lotion, Lime Leaves. Lime leaves (Citrus hystrix DC.) contain active tannin compounds, steroid, terpenoid, and volatile oil which be formulated into repellent lotion. The aim of this research was to find out the physical testdosage form extract lotion of lime leaves covering organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, dispersive power and adhesion, and also qualitative testing to find out the compounds content of terpenoid dosage form extract lotion of lime leaves. Methodology of this research used descriptive observational study by observes then describe about physical characteristic. The result of qualitative test terpenoid compound form extract lotion of lime leaves presented in narration and table. The result of this research was organoleptic experiment that showed if dosage form extract lotion of lime leaves have viscous and semi-solid, green color, fragrant smell typical of lime leaves. Homogeneity form was less homogeneous because there is still a little green particle. pHdosage form got the result for 6,27. Viscosity dosage form got the result for 4500 cp (centipoise). Dispersive power dosage form got the result for 6,6 cm. Adhesion got the result for 1,28 second and the result of qualitative experiment showed positive result and contains terpenoid with sorrel color. The conclusion from this research was the result from physical experiment dosageform extract lotion of lime leaves got appropriate with standard except homogeneity experiment and qualitative experiment of terpenoid compounds got the positive result contains terpenoid. Keywords: Physical Characteristic, Qualitative Terpenoid Experiment, Lotion, Lime Leaves.

Abstract

Abstract: Antibacterial Activity, Skin ointment, Turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L, Curcuma heyneana. Indonesia is a country with a very high biodiversity. In the high diversity are stored potent plant potentials that can be extracted and utilized further. People are starting to realize the use of chemicals to solve life problems, especially health problems, in addition to expensive, can also cause adverse side effects for humans. Human life is always surrounded by microbes, either pathogenic or non-pathogenic. Many plants that have properties as antibacterial, such as turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L. and Curcuma heyneana. This research use turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L. And Curcuma heyneana extract, as active ingredient of skin ointment. This study aimed to know the extent to which the antibacterial activity of these three ointments against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This type of research was quasi experimental, with the design of Static Group Comparasion. Influence of Antidiabetic Herbal Medicine to a Decrease Blood Glucose Levels of Diabetes Mellitus Patients at The ‘Hortus Medicus’ Scientification of Jamu Clinic Tawangmangu, Karanganyar

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) was an annual disease characterized by parennials of blood glucose levels exceeding normal and impaired metabolism of carbohydrates, fat and protein caused by defficiency of insulin hormone relative as well as absolute. Management of patients with DM can be done by some effort, among others was consume an antidiabetic drug or antidiabetics herbal medicine. Antidiabetic herbal medicine were consisting of bitter, brotowali, salam leaf, and AAI (analegtic, antiinflamation, and immunomodulator). The resesarch aimed to know the influence of antidiabetic herbal medicine to decrese blood glucose levels in patient with DM at The ‘Hortus Medicus’ Scientification of Jamu Clinic, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. The method was quasi experimental with one group pre-post test. The samples were 37 people of the patients with DM diagnose with purposive sampling technique methode. The research report that among 37 respondents, 32 (86.5%) of respondent got a decreased blood glucose levels. The mean value of blood glucose level before consuming antidiabetic herbal medicine was 290.30 mg/dl and the mean value after consuming the herbal medicine was 241.78 mg/dl with difference of the mean value before and after consuming the herbal medicine was 48.52 mg/dl. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimental dengan one group pre-post test. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 37 orang pasien terdiagnosis DM dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive method sampling. Data penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa di antara 37 responden, 32 (86,5%) dari responden mengalami penurunan kadar glukosa darah. Kadar glukosa darah sebelum mengonsumsi jamu antidiabetes adalah 290,30 mg/dl dan nilai rata-rata setelah mengkonsumsi jamu antidiabetes adalah 241,78 mg/dl dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata sebelum dan setelah mengkonsumsi jamu adalah 48,52 mg/dl. Abstract

Introduction: Andrographis paniculata had known contained active substance such as andrographolida, atsiri oil, flavonoid, tannin, alkaloid, and saponin which functions as antibacterial, antitoxic, analgesic, and anti-pyretic. Based on its antibacterial properties, an ointment form of Andrographis paniculata leaf is then formulated, for practical usage. Ointment formula is semi solid for topical use in the skin or mucosal membranes. Objectives: to know the result of ointment physical test of etanolic extract Andrographis paniculata leaf. Methods: physical tests contain organoleptic test, pH, homogenity, adhesion test and dispersive test. Results: Ointment shaped semi solid, blacky green and special smell of Andrographis paniculata, pH 6, homogenity test obtained homogenous results, adhesion test was 82 second and dispersive test was 5.6 cm. Conclusion: the result of physical tests of etanolic Andrographis paniculata leaf extract ointment appropriate with quality standard.
