Abstract

Penelitian matematika dalam bidang demografi dan ekologi sangatlah penting. Salah satu penelitian di bidang tersebut adalah tentang pertumbuhan populasi. Paper ini akan membahas tentang model pertumbuhan populasi berdasarkan kelompok umur. Model populasi berdasar kelompok umur merupakan model untuk memprediksi jumlah populasi di waktu yang akan datang berdasarkan kelompok umur. Model ini berbentuk kontinu atas waktu dan diskret atas kelompok umur. Model ini dikembangkan dari model pertumbuhan populasi berdasarkan kelompok umur dengan ukuran waktu diskret dan ukuran umur diskret. Dalam hal ini akan dibahas model kontinu atas waktu dan diskret atas umur sehingga diperoleh model berupa sistem persamaan diferensial serta model dapat dituliskan dalam bentuk matriks. Perubahan populasi yang meliputi increasing, decreasing, dan asyimptoticaly stationary dapat dilihat dari nilai eigen dari matriks yang terbentuk. Selain itu dapat dilihat stable age structure nya. Kata kunci : model populasi, kelompok umur (age-structured), stable age structure.

Abstract

In this paper, its discussed about the model re-training for workers in a company. To improve the quality of workers is usually held training (training) for workers, especially new workers or junior employees. However it is also the possibility of retraining for workers who decline spirit. The condition was one of the bases in formulating a model of retraining for workers in a company. Mathematical models for retraining discussed is a model re-training for workers based on an assessment of his colleagues. This model is shaped system of differential equations. In this model there are two equilibrium points namely the trivial equilibrium point and non-trivial equilibrium point. Local stability of the trivial equilibrium point of time fulfilled the conditions of the reproductive number is essentially less than one. This means that for a long time a good worker does not need to be a master so that workers do not re-training. Numerical simulation is given by taking the value of certain parameters that describe the changes in population size of each class of a time.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membentuk model vehicle routing problem (VRP) untuk pengangkutan sampah di Kota Yogyakarta, menyelesaikan model yang diperoleh menggunakan algoritma sequential insertion, selanjutnya membuat bahasa pemrograman Macro Excel untuk mensimulasikan permasalahan. Kondisi pengangkutan sampah dapat dianalogikan dengan VRP dengan menambahkan intermediate facility pada akhir rute, yang dalam hal ini adalah Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). Penentuan rute pengangkutan sampah diselesaikan dengan algoritma sequential insertion. Algoritma ini merupakan suatu metode untuk memperoleh rute perjalanan dengan cara memperbarui node yang belum ditugaskan dengan menyisipkan diantara node yang sudah ditugaskan. Berdasarkan 22 TPS yang disimulasikan dengan Macro Excel, diperoleh 4 tur jika diberikan panjang horizon perencanaan adalah 3 jam, dan diperoleh 3 tur jika diberikan panjang horizon perencanaan adalah 4 jam

Abstract

Key agreement protocol is a method in cryptography. Key agreement protocol is used to overcome the problem of sending secret information over communication lines. A secret key, called password, is needed to secure t he information. Both parties who exchange confidential information must agree on the same key. In this method, both parties exchange mutual general parameters that everyone can see, however from the general parameters the same passwords can be formed and not publicly known. One method that has been used is applying a series of matrix multiplication operation defined over a finite field. In this study, we constructed an algorithm in the form of a key agreement protocol that can be used in the password agreement method which the level of security based on algebraic problem of matrix operation over Z- min plus algebra. Min Plus algebra over Z, that is Z È { + ¥ } with Z is the set of all integers equipped with the minimum and addition operation,  is called idempotent semiring. The results showed that the application of matrix operation over min plus algebra can be used as key agreement protocol in securing secret information.   Key words: secret information, password, Min-Plus algebra

Abstract

The goal of this research is to know the effect of self-concept, Intelligence Quotient (IQ), school climate, and student perceptions of teacher competence on economic learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive method of verification. Data collecting technique that is using by questionnaires and documentation. Testing hypotheses is using regression analysis techniques. Based on the results obtained findings (1) There is the influence of self-concept on learning outcomes of the economy; (2) There is an effect on learning outcomes IQ economy; (3) There is an influence of school climate on learning outcomes of the economy; (4) There is an influence of students perceptions of teacher competence on economic learning outcomes; and (5) There is an influence of self-concept, IQ, school climate, and student perceptions of teacher competence on economic learning outcomes.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri, Intelligence Quotient (IQ), iklim sekolah, dan persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif. Teknik pengambilan data yaitu dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan (1) Ada pengaruh konsep diri terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi; (2) Ada pengaruh IQ terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi; (3) Ada pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi; (4) Ada pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi; dan (5) Ada pengaruh konsep diri, IQ, iklim sekolah, dan persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Kata kunci: hasil belajar, iklim sekolah, IQ, konsep diri, persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancang bangun pemarut dan pemeras santan kelapa portable model continue bertenaga gerak motor listrik, mengetahui sistem kerja dengan uji coba dan identifikasi tingkat kegagalan perancangan serta menghitung tingkat efisiensi dengan perbandingan metode manual. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian rancang bangun mesin pemarut dan pemeras santan kelapa portable model continue ini adalah metode empirik, yaitu pengambilan data dari sumber studi pustaka lalu mengaplikasikanya dalam satu permodelan dimensi dengan perencanaan dan perhitungan yang diwujudkan dalam satu bentuk nyata berupa mesin pemarut dan pemeras santan kelapa portable model continue tersebut. Untuk mengetahui besar kapasitas mesin dibutuhkan pengulangan beberapa kali dengan pengambilan waktu 5 menit, 10 menit, 15 menit, 20 menit, 25 menit, 30 menit sampai 60 menit. Hasil penelitian dibedakan menjadi dua sesuai parameter penelitian, yaitu santan dan ampas. Rancangan mengalami beberapa kali perubahan design dan ukuran komponenya, hal ini untuk mendapatkan hasil yang mendekati sempurna. Hasil pengujian tertinggi terjadi pada waktu 10 menit yaitu, santan 110 gr, dan ampas 220 gr. sedangkan pada pengujian mulai 25 menit hingga 60 menit tidak menghasilkan santan. Hal ini dikarenakan mesin mengalami eror.

Abstract

Water is the most basic requirement that is necessary for a good life on land, sea or air. Water in the face of this earth are not directly derived from the rain. All living things need water to survive. Water management should be done as quickly as possible so that its availability is maintained. Along with the development of the times and increasing daily population in Indonesia, the demand for water continues to increase. Indonesia has a tropical climate with two seasons, the dry season and the rainy season. During the dry season of drought, while in the rainy season floods. One reason is the change in land use that result in water catchment areas disappear and be replaced by buildings some hydrological model was developed to determine the water balance, such as infiltration models. Infiltration models are used to determine how much of the surface runoff or inundation (ponding) which can be infiltrated. The purpose of this study is to analyze the model's ability to absorb water in a simple infiltration runoff, infiltration simple models to analyze the influence of the flow between, to analyze the efficiency of a simple infiltration models to infiltration, and a simple model to analyze the influence of water turbidity in a state of unsaturated and saturated water. The results showed that the soil with plants media can reduce runoff and improve water quality due to rain than vacant land. Discharge runoff on bare ground while unsaturated and saturated water of 0.136 liters/sec and 0.134 liters/sec, while on the ground with the current crop of media unsaturated and saturated water at 0.1330 liters/sec and 0.1300 liters/sec. The content of the suspension on a vacant lot when unsaturated and saturated water is 6.88; 4.20; 3.94 mg/l and 2.13; 1.66; 1.11 mg/l, while in the soil with the current crop of media was saturated and saturated water is 4.40; 4.22; 2.35 mg/l and 0.92; 0.83; 0.63 mg/l.

Abstract

Salah satu bakteri pencemar adalah serotipe E. coli O157:H. Bakteri ini diketahui tumbuh dan berkembang dan menghasilkan toksin. Toksin yang dihasilkan oleh strain ini adalah verotoxin atau disebut sebagai shiga-like toxin (Stx).Penelitian ini menggunakan lima isolate E. coli O157:H7 yaitu FSKS 5 Pecatu, FSKS 17 Kutuh, FSKS 35 Ungasan, FSKS 44 Ungasan, dan FSKS 55 Jimbaran. Kegiatan penelitian diawali dengan kultivasi isolate melalui penumbuhan pada media Sorbitol MacConkey Agar (SMAC), dilanjutkan dengan konfirmasi E. coli O157 dengan uji latex agglutination test dan konfirmasi E. coli O157:H7 melalui pengujian dengan anti serum H7. Deteksi molekuler diawali dengan tahapan isolasi DNA genom, dilanjutkan dengan deteksi gen Stx 1 melalui metode Polimerase Chain Reaction (PCR), menggunakan primer LP 30 dan LP31. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan positif gen Stx 1 pada dua isolate yaitu FSKS 5 Pecatu dan FSKS 35 Ungasan yang dicirikan dengan terlihatnya band/pita dengan panjang produk 348 bp. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa isolate local FSKS 5 Pecatu dan FSKS 35 Ungasan, berpotensi sebagai agen zoonosis yang berpeluang besar menimbulkan diare berdarah.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to determine the priority of the product should be developed and used as priority by Raflesia’s home industry and (2) to determine the priority of marketing strategy appropriate and effective in the development of marketing home industry Raflesia for main products. The alternative have been used in selected the main products home industry Raflesia are Nila Crispy, Instan Jahe and Terong Crispy. Meanwhile the alternative have been used in selected development marketing strategy for the main products home industry Raflesia are 4P (product, price, distribution and promotion). To find the priority main products and marketing development strategy for the main product home industry Raflesia used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Based on the research, showed that the priority alternative products in a selected the main products home industry Raflesia are Instan Jahe, Nila Crispy  and Terong Crispy  with the weight 0.43, 0.35, 0.22 respectively. Furthermore, the priority alternative strategy in the selected of marketing development strategy for instant Jahe product of home industry Raflesia are strategy of promotion, product, distribution and price with the weight 0.32, 0.28, 0.23, 0.17 respectively.  Keywords: Main products, marketing development strategic, AHP

Abstract

Various methods can be used to construct a mathematical model of the transportation problems. One model that can be used is a linear model. Several studies have used a linear model to get the schedule and the optimal route of bus trips. This research will build a mathematical model of a city bus transportation problems in DIY using linear models. Linear model is built to get the condition density city bus passengers on shifts respectively that morning, noon, and evening. After finding a suitable model, applied to the bus passengers data in Yogyakarta. From these results it can be seen the optimum conditions in terms of density, because the condition of the city bus at this time that quiet enthusiasts. Besides, the optimum density at each shift in the morning is 11 passengers, 10 passengers during the day, and evening 9 passengers. Keywords: transportation problems, the linear model, the optimal route, density
