Abstract

We formulate application of Bezier revolution surfaces for modeling onyx and marmer objects in three steps asthe following. Firstly, calculating the parametric representation of Bezier revolution surfaces and its shapemodification in some different forms is done. Secondly, we formulate parametric continuity for joining thesurfaces. Finally, the application of those formulas for modeling onyx and marmer objects of revolution by usingcomputer are simulated. Abstract

Moral crisis that hit the Indonesian nation in recent years, not only experienced by thenon-educated, even now many intellectuals struck. One reason is the education process has notintegrate the knowledge and values. So far, the role of knowledge including mathematics nomore left brain only serve that only requires logical thinking skills that equip students only smartbut do not equip students are smart. This is because mathematics is the cornerstone of scientificthinking which is separated from the value, but it affects the attitudes and behavior of people indecisions and actions. If early planting religiosity values elaborated with knowledge ofMathematics, it will give birth to light pious people who can bring change to glory. The purposeof this study was decrypt the prototype model of a religious character education based onknowledge of school mathematics. This study uses a model of the 4D development Thiagarajanconsisting of Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate. The subject of the study wasmathematics schools and Instructional Materials Development (PBA), which developed into areligious character-based educational materials school math knowledge. While the test subjectsare mathematics education students who have taken the PBA in the year 2013/2014. Expectedresults of research are educational teaching materials produced prototypes built religiouscharacter of the school of mathematical knowledge.Keywords: moral crisis, secularism, Mathematics, Islamic, Muslim intellectuals

Abstract

The shape and appearance of the rack storage is most commonly manufactured in its permanently affixed form. The impacts are: heavy stuff, take up much space, difficult to move during disassembly, and the mobilization of the component and viewing angle are limited. With that limitation, it is necessary to develop rack storage model with combination of two components, namely: supporting and pole, in order this model can be built with the disassembly of its components. There fore the purpose this research is to obtain a model of the rack storage through various forms of support and pole rack so that in the end, our rack storage would be able to work with multi-function capability and flexibility, and its function is properly used in accordance with the position of the room.

Abstract

Teralis pintu dan jendela banyak dipasang di berbagai jenis bangunan secara permanen. Karena adanya teralis, pintu dan jendela menjadi lebih kuat terhadap benturan, nampak lebih tebal, dan menjadi tahan terhadap dorongan. Namun seiring dengan perkembangan jaman, saat ini teralis pintu dan jendela berfungsi sebagai hiasan rumah. Oleh karena itu selain sebagai pengaman, teralis pintu dan jendela dapat berfungsi untuk perhiasan atau mempercantik rumah serta sebagai pengatur sirkulasi udara. Banyak ditemukan keragaman motif teralis pintu dan jendela yang telah sesuai dengan bentuk pintu dan jendela. Motif tersebut mengandung lebih dari satu bentuk geometri dasar. Namun desain dan jenis modelnya yang telah dibuat masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan desain teralis pintu dan jendela yang terbangun dari beragam benda dasar geometri (segitiga, segiempat, segibanyak, lingkaran atau elips). Tulisan ini membahas kontruksi model teralis pintu dan jendela dari bentuk geometri dasar yang memiliki sifat kesimetrian, kekongruenan, keseimbangan, bertingkat dan beragam arah.

Abstract

Mosaic is a creation that arranging pieces of geometric in a space. This mosaic design which has geometric line character enrich the varieties of mosaic designs more attractive and various. The result of research found that to develop the mosaic design in rectangle interior for geometric line character needed some steps as follows: (1) constructing pieces of rectangle that the size is arranged in geometric line form through spot among each side, (2) fill in each pieces in the result of step (1) with filling curve permanently or exchanging by using the rotation or dilatation, (3) combaining some rectangles as the result of step (2) and coloring the background or filling curve.

Abstract

Dalam Permendikbud Nomor 64 Tahun 2013 disebutkan bahwa materi pembelajaran transformasi geometri harus diberikan di SMP dan SMA. Kurikulum 2013 tersebut harus dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran saintifik yang menuntut siswa menguasai konsep, prinsip dan prosedur materi transformasi geometri tersebut secara benar. Namun dalam implementasinya muncul kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dan siswa, diantaranya siswa masih sulit mendefinisikan konsep transformasi. Terkendala dalam mengkomunikasikan tahapan ataupun prosedur mengoperasikan titik, garis dan obyek-obyek geometri standar. Selain itu media interaktif yang digunakan masih terbatas. Oleh sebab itu perlu dikembangkan software pembelajaran matematika yang memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep transformasi geometri tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini didiskusikan pengembangan software pembelajaran interaktif materi transformasi geometri bidang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students learning difficulties in terms oflocation, type and causes difficulty learning courses Linear Model. From theresults of research conducted obtained: (1) the location of the learning difficultiesof students in a course linear model , the indicators 2.3.1 to calculate the statisticaltest one way Multivariate Anova in solving problems has highest indicators ofachievement that is 83,125 %, (2) The types of difficulty student learning in courseslinear model, the most errors made by students in false beliefs. This suggests thatstudents experiencing difficulty learning course materials Linear Models on theprinciple of ability to percentage (39.352 %). It is seen from the mistakes made bystudents in solving problems. Therefore it is vital that students know and master theconcepts and procedures that are appropriate in solving a given problem.Key words : location , types and causes learning difficulties, diagnostic test.

Abstract

         Tujuan  kegiatan penerapan ipteks ini adalah (1) meningkatkan minat guru  menyusun rubrik penilaian otentik dalam pembelajaran, (2) meningkatkan pemahaman guru menyusun rubrik penilaian otentik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, (3) meningkatkan keterampilan guru menyusun rubrik penilaian otentik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun yang menjadi subjek dalam pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru SMP Muhammadiyah 3  Purwokerto Kabupaten Banyumas.   Lokasi penerapan IbM adalah di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Purwokerto, Kabupaten  Banyumas, dengan lama pelaksanaan  4  bulan mulai bulan Desember 2014 – April 2015. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pemberian informasi melalui presentasi terhadap materi assesmen otentik, memberikan petunjuk cara menyusun perangkat instrument assesmen otentik dan memberikan contoh cara penyusunan assesmen otentik, diskusi, dan praktek membuat profile assesmen otentik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya minat guru dalam penyusunan penilaian otentik, meningkatnya pemahaman guru tentang konsep assesmen otentik, meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam pembuatan assesmen otentik dan dihasilkannya  profil assesmen otentik. Kata Kunci : Minat, Pemahaman, Keterampilan, Penilaian, Otentik

Abstract

The purpose of study is to obtain procedures of designing several models of rack support and pole component, so that the shape are varies, symmetrical, graded, and balance. The results show that the procedure of designing rack support component can be done by taking some data of a space frame construction of the cube, triangular prism, or cone, then we set a few points on the frame to build piece of parametric curve. Finally we interpolate the curves to find a rack support surfaces. As for the rack pole component, the procedures are: we extract data of straight line segments, oblique or helical shape, then we enumerate the lines into several sub-segments, and then breaks it down to build the trending, chain, and graded curve to get a balance rack pole .
