Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan sepeda motor di Jalan Brigjend Sudiarto Semarang sangat tinggi berkisar 2,8 % pertahun serta proporsi sepeda motor di jalan tersebut mencapai lebih dari 50% dalam komposisi lalu lintas. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada menurunnya kinerja lalu lintas, terjadinya kecelakaan serta berkurangnya kecepatan ruang. Tingkat kecelakaan pada ruas tersebut selalu meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Peningkatan kinerja lalu lintas salah satunya dengan strategi penggunaan lajur sepeda motor. Hasil analisis nilai Q/C eksisting penggal 1 mencapai 0,87 dan penggal 2 mencapai 1,14. Penerapan lajur sepeda motor dilakukan dengan melakukan pelebaran jalan sebesar 1 meter pada penggal 1 dan 2 meter pada penggal 2. Selain itu pada waktu pagi dan sore hari diberlakukan sistem tidal flow. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan penerapan lajur sepeda motor tersebut kinerja jalan meningkat ditunjukkan dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan pada penggal 1 untuk lajur sepeda motor < 0,53 dan untuk lajur kendaraan lain < 0,63 sedangkan pada penggal 2 untuk lajur sepeda motor < 0,54 dan untuk lajur kendaraan lain < 0,72. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan lajur sepeda motor menghasilkan kinerja jalan yang lebih baik dari kondisi eksisting dan dapat digunakan untuk penanganan jangka pendek. Untuk mengakomodasi angkutan umum, lajur sepeda motor tersebut dilengkapi bus bay. Kata Kunci : Lajur Khusus Sepeda Motor, Proporsi Sepeda Motor, Tidal Flow, Bus Bay.   ABSTRACT The high growth of motorcycle on Brigjend Sudiarto Street reaches 2,8% per year and also the proportion of motorcycles that reach more than 50% in the composition of traffic on that street. These conditions decrease the traffic performance, causing accidents and reducing velocity space. The accident rate on these sections is increasing from year to year. One of many strategies to improve traffic performance is by motorcycle lane application. The results of the Q/C analysis on the existing segment one reaches 0.87 and 1.14 for segment 2. Application of motorcycle lane done by widening the road by 1 meter at segment 1 and 2 meters for segment 2. Beside that, in the morning and evening are enforced tidal flow system. Based on the analysis of the motorcycle lane implementation, road performance is improved, shown by the degree of saturation of segment 1 for motorcycle lane is less than 0.53 and for other vehicle lane is less than 0.63, while for segment 2,  the Q/C value is less than 0.54 and for other vehicle lane is less than 0.72. It was concluded that the application of the motorcycle lane produce a better performance than the existing condition and can be used for short-term treatment. Motorcycle lane are equipped with bus bay to accommodate public transit. Keywords : Motorcycle Lane, The Proportion of Motorcycles, Tidal Flow, Bus Bay.

Abstract

Cakung-Cilincing Highway is the main access road to the Tanjung Priok port. The flyover is being built on the road. This causes severe congestion. This study aimed to compare the capacity, the current movement, vehicle speed, and vehicle operating costs at the time before the construction of flyover and during construction of elevated road. Analysis using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia and Synchro SimTraffic 7.0 program to simulate passing vehicles. The results show the capacity before and during construction is the same, namely 5152,8 pcu/hour because the contractor was to minimize the possibility of harm to road users. Current movement to port more dominant either before or during construction indicated by the greater density toward Priok compared to the Cakung and speed toward Priok lower compared to the Cakung. Traffic density prior to the construction of the port of Tanjung Priok 166 vehicles/km and the direction Cakung of 98 vehicles/km. While the current construction of 229 Priok towards vehicle/km and 143 vehicles/km toward Cakung. The average speed of the vehicle prior to the construction Priok is 41,22 km/h and the direction Cakung 42,26 km/h. While the construction time of 4,86 km/h in the direction Priok and the direction Cakung 8.41 km/h. This is because the construction of the overpass project activities Cakung Cilincing and potholes. Total vehicle operating costs incurred prior to construction lower than at the construction details before construction towards Priok is Rp 679,485,269.47 / day / 1.8 km and to the Cakung Rp 492,487,489.56 / day / 1.8 miles. While the current construction towards Priok Rp 1,014,197,666.44/day/1,8 km and to the Cakung Rp 529,568,278.05/day/1,8 km. This is caused by the increased density of the way so the speed decrease and result in greater costs. Therefore, should the perforated Cakung Cilincing immediately improved and widening of roads so as to improve the speed of vehicles passing through the road.

Abstract

Batik Solo Trans (BST) included in the category of Bus Rapid Transit, this modes of transportation provided by the government to transportation of Surakarta, but the society not interest with this mode. This study was conducted to determine the publics preference for mass transit and investigate the performance in terms of Batik Solo Trans department of transportation standards and world bank standards. The research method used survey and give questionnaire toward users and non users BST. The evaluation results of BST corridor I performance got some indicators which have department of transportation standards and world bank standards there are headway, speed, distance time on Saturday and Sunday, and 67% the shelter distance, beside for load factor still under standard 70%, load factor could not full filled, based on questionnaire result, society not interest use BST because some reason, for example wasting time, incomplete route and facility of BST, long distance time, which evidenced based on survey result more than 3 hours on Monday. Although load factor is less based on BOK analysis with tariff  of BST got profit can used for maintenance and addition of the bus. The analysis results, system can be improve appropriate with the expectation of the society, there are addition corridors than intersect corridor other, lane BST, beheading route corridor I have small load factor, the transportation other can be the feeder, apply contra flow system on Slamet Riyadi road and bus priority tracking at intersections for shorten distance time.

Abstract

Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang is one of the international airport in the Province of Central Java . International airport status is used because there is a flight plan to foreign country and Ahmad Yani Airport worthy to serve the airlines. However, the facilities and services that exist not suitable for international-class airport. Therefore, these airports continue to be developed in order to serve the demand for overseas flight, both domestic and international flights increased from year to year. It can be from Semarang and head to Semarang. The development includes the development of the infrastructure of the airport land and air sides which are divided into two phases. With the completion of the first phase of development, Ahmad Yani Airport will have a wider terminal in the North of  runway, ample parking space, covering an area of 61.344 m2 apron and two taxiways. Development of second phase will make Ahmad Yani Airport has an area of 78.313 m2 apron that can accommodate 12 Boeing 737-900 aircraft class and 8 pieces taxiways, 2 pieces exit taxiways and 1 piece parallel taxiway. This Final Thesis will analyze the air side of the Ahmad Yani airport that has runway formed, taxiway and apron at the existing condition, the development of the first phase and the second phase of development. This analysis will have predicted number of passengers in the plan of year which will then be converted into the number of aircraft at busy times. Results of the predicted number of aircraft will be on an analysis for the air side capacity of the Ahmad Yani Airport in the development plan that has been done by Ahmad Yani airport, so that it will be known the air side ability of the Ahmad Yani Airport to the demand in the plan year. This analysis refers to the rules that set up by FAA. Results of the analysis showed that when the condition of existing air side in the form of runway, taxiways are still able to serve the demand of flight but the capacity of the apron are not able to serve so for prediction of the next 5 years in the first phase of development there will be over capacity. However, with the development at the Ahmad Yani Airport, aircraft servicing predictions for the next 5 to 10 years can already be served by a taxiway and apron but rapid exit taxiway should be built for runway’s component, so that it can increase runway capacity at peak hours.

Abstract

Asphalt mixture performance needs to be improved by modifying the asphalt mixture  to produce a strong, durable and high plastic-deformation resistance. While the presence of abundance of plastic waste takes 1000 years to be decomposed perfectly by land. According to the facts,this research  was proposed to improve performance of asphalt mixture by utilizing plastic waste. This is because plastic has high softening point so that it is expected to be able to increase asphalt mixture resistance against the effects of temperature and elasticity. The research was done by substituting a part of filler with LDPE plastic waste in asphalt mixture. Different contents of LDPE, i.e. 0%, 2%, 4% and 6% of the weight of asphalt, were used in this study to simulate the effect of plastic content on mixture performance.  Fifteen samples of AC-WC mixture were made for each variation of LDPE content and all were compacted by 2x75 blows. Then, the mixtures were evaluated by terms of 6 Marshall properties, that is, stability, flow, MQ, VIM, VMA and VFA, one additional parameter, namely Index residual strength (IRS). It resulted  that mixtures with plastic tend to less dense (as showed by higher air voids) and become more rigid (as showed by high stability but low flow). This indicates that the addition of LDPE could make the mixture becoming more rigid but porous causing it has good resistance to plastic deformation but it is more susceptible to cracking and less durable. Although the results showed that mixture with LDPE was not better than conventional mixture, the use of this mixture for underlying layer like AC-BC is still possible. And this is supported by all Marshall properties on selected types (2% and 4%) could fulfil the specification issued by Directorate General of Highway (Bina Marga).

Abstract

Semarang is one of the big cities, where many centers of economic, political, socio-cultural and educational center. The existence attractive to residents outside of Semarang to travel to Semarang. Most Salatiga’s residents doing trip - roundtrip to the Semarang city. However, the operation conditions of public transportation that led to and leaving  Semarang still not up and there are a few obstacles along the way such as markets, factories and other activities that disrupt the trip. This transport problems will cause a variety of negative effects, such as lost time due to the long trip and the increase in Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) to existing roads, so that the government develop a national road network in particular in areas of Java such as Trans Java Toll road construction Semarang - Solo segment. The purpose of this evaluation is to analyze the velocity space (space mean speed) and the Vehicle Operating Costs comparison between existing roads and toll roads segment Ungaran - Salatiga. Vehicle Operating Costs (VOC) using the Pacific Consultants International (PCI) formula. Data that obtained from the survey results for the velocity space (space mean speed) toward Ungaran - Salatiga for each vehicle and departure times both morning and afternoon, for the morning bus speeds faster 1.55 km / h of speed during the day is 31.14 km / h; 2 axle trucks during the day faster 4.67 km / h of speed in the morning is 30.76 km / h; as daytime tuk 3 faster 1.37 km / h from speed in the morning is 27.05 km / h; while the direction of Salatiga - Ungaran for the bus in the morning faster 1.21 km / h of speed during the day is 36.36 km / h; 2 axle trucks during the day more fast 3.77 km / h of speed in the morning is 34.29 km / hr; 3 axle truck in the morning faster 3.09 km / h of speed during the day is 26.81 km / h. The average speed for the Toll Road is taken based on a minimum speed of 60 km / h. The results of the comparison vehicle operating cost (VOC), it costs when crossing the Toll road is more economical when compared to the existing road. Where is the economic value of the vehicle in the morning for the bus is more efficient to IDR 37.132,38 (27.19%); 2 axle trucks more efficient IDR 32,802.99 (30.17%); and 3 axle trucks more efficient IDR 22,842.59 (13.58%). While in the afternoon, when crossing the Toll road for the bus will be more efficient IDR 39,564.97 (28.47%); for 2 axle trucks more efficient IDR 26,220.25 (25.67%); while for 3 axle trucks would be more efficient IDR 23,083.17 (13.70%).

The average speed for the Toll Road is taken based on a minimum speed of 60 km / h. The results of the comparison vehicle operating cost (VOC), it costs when crossing the Toll road is more economical when compared to the existing road. Where is the economic value of the vehicle in the morning for the bus is more efficient to IDR 37.132,38 (27.19%); 2 axle trucks more efficient IDR 32,802.99 (30.17%); and 3 axle trucks more efficient IDR 22,842.59 (13.58%). While in the afternoon, when crossing the Toll road for the bus will be more efficient IDR 39,564.97 (28.47%); for 2 axle trucks more efficient IDR 26,220.25 (25.67%); while for 3 axle trucks would be more efficient IDR 23,083.17 (13.70%).

Abstract

Best Western Star Hotel and Star apartments located in the MT. Haryono are currently being built into the new residential alternative in Semarang. This triggers resurgence, resulting jam in the area will increasing. The situation of the MT. Haryono street before Best Western Star Hotel and Star Apartments are built was very crowded in the morning, afternoon and evening due to the shopping and offices centers. Because of these problems, it will be planned traffic management, road widening, and green design time. In this study will be discuss about traffic performance’s existing, traffic performance after the construction of the building, traffic performance in 2018, and traffic performance after the application of some solutions. The analysis method that will be used is the analysis method of MKJI 1997. The method is used to analyze the condition of roads and hotspot intersections. Vast amount of hotel rooms and apartment per unit is calculated to obtain the resurgence happened. The amount of Best Western Star Hotel and Star Apartment’s resurgence then charged on each road, after getting overburdened volume of traffic resurgence, do the analysis of road and hotspot intersections performances. From the amount list of vehicles in each years from 2007 through 2011 was found the growth rate. The growth rate is used to predict the traffic conditions for the coming 5 years, so it can be selected the solution that can solve the problems for the coming 5 years. Test result are as follows : 1). The Best Western Star Hotel and Star Apartment’s resurgence caused 844 pcu/hour. 2). The growth rate of the vehicle is 3,94% per year. 3). The traffic management deemed not able to overcome the jam’s problems that occured. 4). Need to do road widening at Sriwijaya street and transforming the Lampersari street to become 1-way street. 5). Need to do redesign the green time.

Abstract

The results of the performance evaluation BST corridor I obtained some indicators that meet the standards of the Department of Transportation and the World Bank that headway, speed, travel time on Saturday and Sunday, as well as most of the distance between the shelter, while the load factor is still below the standard which is still less than 70 %. Load factor due to non-fulfillment by the results of the questionnaires are reluctant to switch to using BST for several reasons including watu waiting periods, the route less BST, BST facilities are lacking, long travel times BST, is also proved from the results of the survey where the travel time for the day Monday more than 3 hours. Despite the low load factor based on the analysis of vehicle operating costs BST rate applicable experience keutungan that will be able to meet the operational costs of vehicles. With the results of the analysis did not meet the standard, it can be improved by adding corridors that intersect with the corridor so that the people I want to switch to using BST as it has many routes. Making other transport as feeder so that the corridor I just BST operate and can facilitate people to the shelter BST which will be raising load factor.Contra flow system on the road Slamet Riyadi tracking and bus priority at junctions can shorten travel times BST faster. With that expected performance can be optimized BST serve passengers and non-users can switch to using a BST as a mode of daily transportation.

Abstract

Road maintenance and rehabilitation program is a program to improve functional condition of a road pavement. EVERSERIES 5.0 is a group of programs having an ability to do a complex analysis especially in determining pavement respond and modulus, and also designing pavement overlay, i.e. EVERSTRESS, EVERCALC and EVERPAVE, respectively.The objective of this research was to evaluate Bina Marga Pd T-05-2005-B Guideline in designing overlay thickness by comparing the guideline with EVERSERIES program. The location of the study was TMII – Cibubur segment of Jagorawi toll road. For the purpose of the research, two-way (direction A and B) deflection data along the segment together with 5-year traffic volume data were collected. In determining overlay thickness, EVERSERIES program firstly evaluated the existing deflection and pavement temperature data and used them in backcalculation process to produce elastic moduli. The moduli, together with traffic volume data, then were used to calculate the overlay thickness.On the other hand, Bina Marga Guideline calculated manually the overlay thickness based on the category of deflections. The results showed that Bina Marga Guidelines always produced less thickness than EVERSERIES program, i.e. 7.2 and 7.12 cm for direction A and B, respectively, compared with thicknesses produced by EVERSERIES, that is, 11.9 and 10.29 cm for direction A and B, respectively. This is because there is a difference in overview of pavement-layer distress between the two methods.
