Abstract

Salt farmers have a problem about the low selling price of salt in common, which is Rp 400,-/kg for B quality salt and Rp 550,-/kg for quality salt A. The cause of the low selling price is because the yield of salt mixed impurities from mineral in soil. In addition, other barriers experienced by the salt farmers are can not operate during the rainy season. It is caused due to the use of the conventional method is not maximized so it produces salt with low quality and quantity. These conditions have been experienced by salt farmers in the Madegan village. Therefore the purpose of the PKM-T is to make the tool named “Talang Cerdas” producing high quality salt with crystallization method using stainless steel gutters and lenses as a focus rays. The methods used are literature studies and field observations on a group of salt farmers in Madegan village as a partners of salt producers using “Talang Cerdas”. Then, we made the design and manufacture of equipment. “Talang Cerdas” has three parts. The first part is tank and pump as a container and pump sea water into it. The second part is the gutters and supporting tools as a medium of salt farmers. The third part is the lens for the convergence process. After that, we did test to the tool and the salt result, and also socialiszation to the salt farmers. “Talang Cerdas”produces a greater salt that is 2,67 kg/m2 in 14 days which operates for 7 hours per day. Based on the chemical test, the salt has low water content which is 0,733%, the levels of NaCl, Mg, Ca and SO4 respectively 95,73%, 0,05%, 0,08% and 0,17%.Keywords : Salt, stainless steel, crystallization, saltpond

Abstract

Sensor emas terlapis NiO nanopartikel pada probe Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) telah berhasil dibuat. NiO nanopartikel dilapiskan pada permukaan sensor emas QCM berfungsi sebagai partikel aktif. Sensor emas QCM yang telah termoifikasi NiO nanopartikel dipasang pada crystal holder dan dicelupkan pada larutan gelatin sapi dan larutan gelatin babi dengan konsentrasi 100, 200, 300, 400, dan 500 ppm untuk menguji perbedaan frekuensi yang teramati pada larutan gelatin sapi dan larutan gelatin babi.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengukuran konduktivitas elektropolimerisasi polipirol pada berbagai variasi pH. Elektropolimerisasi pirol pada permukaan elektroda emas menggunakan teknik voltammetri siklis dengan sistem tiga elektroda yaitu elektroda emas termodifikasi p iro l, Ag/AgCl (KCl 3M) sebagai elektroda pembanding, dan kawat plat inu m sebagai elektroda bantu. Diu kur pada potensial -0,6 V sampai +1,8V dengan laju scan 100 mV/detik pada kondisi rentang pH 1 sampai 14 menggunakan elektrolit KCl 0,1 M kemudiandilakukan pengukuran impedance untuk mempero leh nilai konduktivitas. Diperoleh data pada kondisi pH 9 elektropolimerisasi pirol memiliki konduktivitas paling tinggi. Dalam keadaan konduktivitas yang tinggi, fungsi pirol sebagai polimer konduktif pada biosensor memiliki kemampuan transfer elektron yang baik.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengamatan tentang konduktivitas polianilin pada berbagai variasi pH elektropolimerisasi. Proses polimerisasi anilin d ilakukan pada elektroda emas dengan mencampurkan anilin untuk dipolimerisasi di permukaan elektroda emas menggunakan metode cyclic voltammetry potensiostatic pada kondisi pH 1 sampai 14 menggunakan elektrolit HCl 0,5 M untuk suasana asam dan NaOH 0,5 M untuk suasana basa. Nilai impedansi diketahui melalui pengukuran menggunakan metode impedance galvanometry pada larutan elektro lit NaCl. Diperoleh hasil bahwa elektropolimerisasi pH 1 sampai 4 menghasilkan polimer polianilin yang bersifat konduktif sedangkan pH 5 sampai 14 menghasilkan polimer polian ilin yang tidak konduktif. Pada elektropolimerisasi pH 1,5 me miliki nilai impedansi yang sangat kecil, sehingga memiliki nilai konduktivitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

Sucrose sensor has been made by deposited the active materials on the surface of gold electrode. The active materials, i.e. polyaniline (PANI), invertase and gold nanoparticles, were deposited step by step. Aniline polymerization were conducted electrochemically at potential -500 to 1000 mV using voltammetry method with sweep rate 50 mV/s for 20 cycles in HCl solution pH 1.5. The modified electrode obtained was immersed in invertase 1 M phosphate buffer solution pH 6. The invertase trapping in polyaniline was performed using the same condition as aniline polymerization. Then, gold nanoparticles were deposited on the polyaniline-invertase modified gold electrode using Layer by Layer (LbL) technique. The polyaniline-invertase-gold nanoparticles modified gold electrode obtained was used to measure sucrose solution. Electrochemical signal of polyaniline (PANI)-invertase-gold nanoparticles modified gold electrode is increase with sucrose concentration. The sensitivity and detection limit of the electrode are 0.4657 µA mm-2 mM-1 and 9 µM, respectively. No electrochemical interference signals from fructose and glucose have been observed in the sucrose measurement.

Abstract

Production of biodiesel from crude nyamplung oil (Calophyllum inophyllum) have been done by transesterification using Al-MCM-41 catalyst. Al-MCM-41 catalyst was obtained from impregnation of MCM-41 by Al. Sodium aluminate was added to MCM-41 until pH 11.5. The mixture was heated until 110 °C for 5 days. The calcination was performed at 500 °C, and then cooled at room temperature. The Al-MCM-41 obtained was characterized using SAXRD. Morphology of the surface was analyzed using SEM. The metals content were measured using XPS. Performance of Al-MCM-41 to adsorp and desorp nitrogen was also monitored by GSA using BET model. Acidity of the Al-MCM-41 was analyzed by FTIR using absorption of pyridine. The catalytic activity was measured using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The chromatogram shows that conversion Nyamplung seed oil to biodiesel is 98.15%. The performance of biodiesel obtained was analyzed by use it to diesel engine. The biodiesel obtained was mixed with commercial diesel fuel in various volume ratios (i.e. 0, 10, 20, 30 and 100%) before used. Viscosity, flash point, boiling point, cloud point, and pour point of the mixtures were characterized. These measuring properties increase with the increase of biodiesel concentration. Optimum engine power was achieved by 10% biodiesel. The mixture of 10% biodiesel has similar characteristic to commercial diesel fuel at load until 1800 watt.

Abstract

Fabrication of pH sensor based on fiber optic coated bromophenol blue and cresol red has been done. Briefly, jacket in the middle part of the fiber optic was removed for 5 cm. Then the core of each of fiber optics was washed in ethanol. Nitric acid, demineralized water, and ethanol again consecutively. Then the cleaned core was coated using active material using sol-gel immobilization technique. Tetraehyl orthosilicate was used as a binder in the immobilization of active materials. Bromophenol blue will start change the color to yellow at below pH 3.00±0.01 and blue at above pH 4.60±0.01, while the cresol red will start change the color to yellow at below pH 7.20±0.01 and violet at above pH 8.80±0.01. The pH sensors which have been made show the sigmoidal response over pH from 1.00±0.01 to 11.00±0.01. The sensor has a better performance in comparation with the other sensor.

Abstract

Senyawaan Seng telah disintesis secara elektrolisis. Logam seng (Zn) digunakan sebagai anoda dan katoda. Pengaruh potensial pada pembentukan senyawaan Seng diamati. Produk senyawaan seng dikarakterisasi dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Nilai Absorbansi tertinggi sebesar 0,613 diperoleh  pada λ = 224 nm dengan potensial 6 V dalam  natrium sitrat. Nilai absorbansi tertinggi mengindikasikan bahwa senyawaan seng terbentuk paling banyak pada kondisi tersebut

Abstract

In the construction of a building, one of which is a mosque, it does require efficiency on the budget plan, so that development can be completed to the maximum with optimal time and little cost. The purpose of this study is to find out the ratio of labor wage coefficients between the Budget Plan (RAB), BOW and Implementation; Knowing the comparison and the difference in the number of unit prices of labor wages; Find out the cause of the difference in price. Data processing is done by literature method, documentation, conducting field observations and conducting interviews. The results of the work include formwork column K1 (thread D19) foreman coefficient ratio in RAB Offer with Implementation that is equal to 1.21, while BOW with Implementation is 0.37. Then for the wages of reinforced concrete deck work Lt. 2 12cm thick K-250 with an area of ??41.05 m3 the difference between the RAB of the Offer and the Implementation of Rp. 36,263,855.91 (64.4%), while the difference between BOW and Implementation is Rp. 138,619,043.82 (87.4%). The magnitude of the ratio of ratios and differences in the budget for wage costs is influenced by many factors: labor wage prices, quantity or amount of labor used in the project, skill level and age of the workforce, and high interest in workforce employment.

Abstract

Tourism activities are one thing for supporting regions and the country's economic development, through foreign exchange, tax revenues, and other levies. Tourism activities in one area can increase employment, accelerate the construction of facilities and infrastructure. Tourism also be able to introduce the local production goods for local and foreign tourists. Recently, the Muslim community is the largest community in the world and Indonesia is one of the countries with the most Muslim population. Seeing this opportunity, the Indonesian government in 2012 began for introducing halal tourism in Indonesia. Sumenep, East Java, Indonesia has a variety of tourism potential that can be developed into halal tourism. This study has been mapped all potential for halal tourism in Sumenep, East Java, Indonesia. The potential of halal tourism in Sumenep which has been successfully mapped includes object of food, beach tourism, traditional weapon (keris) tours, centers of batik Sumenep, religious tours, historical tours and natural tours. Hotel and hostelry was also available so that the tourist can plan their vacation in the desire time. Transportation between tourist attractions can also be accessed easily. All tourism objects are includes the criteria of Halal tourism. It can be summarized as Sumenep Halal tour package. This potential was also supported by the religious culture of Sumenep people. This mapping will make it easier for Muslim tourists in particular to access halal tourism in Sumenep, East Java, Indonesia.
