Abstract

Language use is determined not only by linguistic factors but also by nonlinguistic factors, i.e. social and situational factors. This study focuses on the variation pattern of Javanese as the expression of different social factors. Variation of Javanese language in Central Java might happen in various aspects, i.e. honology, lexicon, pengkramaan symptom, pengokoan symptom, and morphemic process. Such social factors as education, age, and occupation have an effect on the realization of Javanese language.

Abstract

The Javanese learning activities have many weakness which come from the teachers, students, and learning materials. From the teachers, more than 60% the teachers are not professional because they don‟t graduate from the Javanese Language. They are still less experience in Javanese teaching. From the student, they are not interested in learning Javanese language. They look down the Javanese language. As the impact of this is that the students are not competence. From the learning materials, there is no Javanese curriculum which was arranged based on need analysis. In the syllabus, there are some mistakes, mainly in developing Basic Competence, Indicators, Life skills, Learning experiment, and valuation. The teachers have difficulties in developing the curriculum, choosing  he teaching method, choosing materials, making learning media, and arranging evaluation. Learning Javanese language is not satisfied, because students‟ competence are still under KKM, the students are not interested in learning. The Suggestion in learning Javanese language: Teachers suggest to be held workshop, seminars, the references are available, and learning media are available. The Students suggest that learning Javanese will be interesting if to be given in simple language (familiarly), and learning materials familiarly. Keywords : Javanese language,

Abstract

Evaluation is an important parth of the teaching process. In Javanese language teaching, the focus of evaluation is the students competence in communication. Further more, the evaluation must be able to assest the communicative competence in the test items which to be developed based on communicative-integrative aproach.The goal of this first research is to discribe the developing on evaluation in Javanese learning by the teachers of SMA  Semarang. The research design is Research and Development. The data are the test series, was made by the teachers of Javanese language in SMA Semarang. The documentation was used to collecting the data. Interractive analyzes was used in this research. The Results are (1) The Javanese learning evaluation is not integrative by means that test items is still in diskret test. (2) The evaluation is not enough communicative (less than 25%). (3) The deviation or less propper not untill 505 more. Keywords : Javanese learning evaluation

Abstract

Salah satu pembaruan atau inovasi terbaru yang dilakukan Pemerintah yang berkaitan dengan kurikulumpendidikan adalah diberlakukannya Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Guru dan sekolah diberikanotonomi untuk mengembangkan kurikulum sesuai dengan potensi, permasalahan, dan kebutuhan sekolah.Penelitian tahap I ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kendala pengembangan kurikulum yang dialami guru.Metode penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Research Development yang dirancangselama dua tahun. Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian tahun pertama ini digunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjekpenelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Jawa SMA se-Kabupaten Semecarang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan denganpengamatan dan wawancara. Metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa kendala yang ditemukan dalam menyusun KTSP meliputi.unsur pengembangan KD, unsurlife skills, uraian pencapaian indikator siswa, pengalaman belajar, metode, penilaian, pengaturan alokasi waktu.Kata kunci: KTSP, bahasa jawa

Abstract

Siswa SMP dalam berkomunikasi dengan bahasa Jawa umumnya tidak memperhatikanaspek kesantunan. Kondisi ini terjadi karena pembelajarannya cenderung ke arah bahasatulis. Desain penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan research & development danbersifat multy years, yang dirancang dalam dua tahap penelitian. Tahap pertamamerupakan tahap penyusunan draf model pembelajaran generatif berbasis konteksuntuk meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi lisan siswa SMP. Hasil penelitian tahappertama ini adalah (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran komunikasi lisan mendapat porsi yangpaling sedikit karena guru dan siswa mengalami kesulitan. Umumnya siswa mengalamikesulitan berbicara dengan ragam krama karena tidak hafal kosa kata krama dan tidakmengatahui kaidah penggunaan ragam krama. Guru mengalami kesulitan dalammempersiapkan materi ajar, media pembelajaran, dan pemilihan strategi pembelajaran,(2) draf model pembelajaran komunikasi lisan dengan stategi pembelajaran generatifyang dikembangkan dilakukan dengan enam tahap, yaitu tahap eksplorasi, pemfokusan,pengenalan konsep, penerapan berbasis konteks, dan análisis kesalahan berbahasa. Default Paragraph Font;hps;High Students do not pay attention to use politeness. Thiscondition occurs because learning tends toward written language. The study design wasdesigned using research & development in multi-year, which is designed in two step ofresearch. The first step is drafting a generative model of context-based learning to improveoral communication competence of junior high school students. The results of this first phaseare (1) the implementation of learning oral communication had a little portion in class andstudents had some difficulties. Generally, students had difficulty to speak in various registerbecause they dont memorized vocabulary and do not know the use in diverse situation.Teachers had difficulty in preparing teaching materials, instructional media, and theselection of instructional strategies, (2) a draft of oral communication learning modelsusing generative learning strategy is developed in six steps: the exploration, focusing,introduction of the concept, context-based implementation, and errors analysis.

Abstract

This research objective was to disseminate and to test the effectiveness of the design of integrative communicative Javanese language learning in elementary school based on verbal folklore as a form of cultural conservation. This research used experimental research method. The subjects of this research were elementary school teachers and students in Semarang and Banyumas. The result of this research showed that this learning design was effective. The students’ result of study in experimental class was better compared with control class and students’ performance in experimental class during the learning process was more active, enthusiastic, and creative. According to the teachers, this learning besides teaching language, art, and culture was also educating character as well. Moreover, this learning was as alternative of Javanese culture preservation.Keywords: integratif, komunikatif, folklore lisan, konservasi budaya

Abstract

Siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Kabupaten Cilacap mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat adalah ketidaktertarikan siswa terhadap cerita rakyat. Penggunaan media film animasi cerita rakyat dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahan kesulitan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Kabupaten Cilacap pada pembelajaran cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa.Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu, (1) bagaimana perbedaan hasil belajar cerita rakyat dengan menggunakan media film animasi melalui pembelajaran terpadu pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media film animasi pada SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Kecamatan Maos, Kabupaten Cilacap, (2) bagaimana perilaku siswa pada pembelajaran cerita rakyat dengan menggunakan media film animasi melalui pembelajaran terpadu pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media film animasi pada SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Kecamatan Maos, Kabupaten Cilacap.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental designs dalam bentuk Intact-Group Comparison. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil dan perilaku siswa dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat pada siswa kelas IV SD, sedangkan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan media film animasi cerita rakyat melalui pembelajaran terpadu pada kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes (perbuatan dan tertulis), pedoman wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan program aplikasi SPSS 16, sedangkan data perilaku siswa dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua hal, yaitu (1) nilai rata-rata pembelajaran cerita rakyat pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,98, sedangkan nilai rata-rata pembelajaran cerita rakyat pada kelas kontrol sebesar 61,58. Hasil uji beda (t-test) diperoleh t = 8,509 dan sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Oleh karena tingkat signifikan uji beda kurang dari 0,05%, maka dapat disimpulkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar pembelajaran cerita rakyat antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dan (2) perilaku siswa pada kelas eksperimen secara umum sudah baik dalam fokus, antusias, keaktifan dan respon yang baik, sedangkan perilaku siswa kelas kontrol masih kurang dalam keaktifan, respon, antusias, dan fokus pada pembelajaran cerita rakyat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran yangdirekomendasikan yaitu,(1) guru dapat menggunakan media film animasi cerita rakyat “Legendha Ketapang Dengklok” dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa di SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, sehingga siswa tidak mengalami kesuliatan dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa, (2) siswa hendaknya diberi pengetahuan tentang cerita rakyat dari Kabupaten Cilacap, sehingga siswa dapat mengetahui cerita rakyat yang merupakan salah satu warisan budaya bangsa, dan (3) Sekolah hendaknya menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung penggunaan media film animasi cerita rakyat “Legendha Ketapang Dengklok” dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat bahasa Jawa.The fourth grade students of SD Negeri Maos 03 Cilacap regency, have difficulty in learning Javanese folklore. One of the factors that cause students have difficulties in learning the folklore is the disinterest of the students toward folklore. The use of folklore animation film media can be used as an alternative to overcome the problems of the fourth grade students of SD N Maos Kidul 03, Cilacap in learning Javanese folklore. The research problems of this study are, (1) how is the difference of learning outcomes of folklore by using the media of animation film through integrated learning in the experimental class and control class that does not use animation film media at SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Maos, Cilacap, (2 ) how is the students’ behavior in learning folklore by using animated film media through integrated learning in the experimental class and control class that does not use the animation film media at SD Negeri Maos Kidul 03, Maos, Cilacap. The method used in this research was the method of experimental research with pre-experimental research design in the form of Intact-Group Comparison. This research was conducted in fourth grade students. The dependent variable in this study was the learning outcomes and students’ behavior in learning folklore at the fourth grade students, while the independent variable in this study was the use of folklore animation film media through integrated learning in the experimental class. The research instruments were a test (deeds and written), interview guidance and observation sheet. Data collection techniques in this study were using tests, observations, and interview. Learning outcomes data were analyzed by using SPSS application program 16, while data of students’ behavior were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The results showedtwo things: (1) the mean score of learning folklore in the experimental class was 81.98, while the mean scoreof learning folklore in control class was 61.58. The results of t-test obtained t = 8.509 and sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Because of significant level of t-test wasless than 0.05%, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of learning folklore between experimental class and control class, and (2) the students’ behavior in experimental class generallywas good in focus, enthusiastic, liveliness and a good response, while the students’ behaviorin control class was still less in liveliness, response, enthusiastic, and focus on learning folklore. Based on the results of the research, the recommended suggestions are, (1) teachers can use the folklore animation film media “Legendha Ketapang Dengklok” in learning Javanese folklore at SD N Maos Kidul 03, (2) the students should be given knowledge about the folklore of Cilacap regency, and (3) Schools should provide facilities and infrastructure that supports the use of folklore animation film media “Legendha Ketapang value Dengklok “ in learning the Javanese folklore.

disclosure of local wisdom for the preservation of Javanese language and the environment of elementary students. The research approach used is research and development. This research product in the form of teaching material of the story that suitable with learning requirement of Javanese elementary school in the form of discourse which use Javanese dialect where the student is, by utilizing cultural activity, vocabulary, traditional expression, and fairy tale which is local wisdom. This teaching material uses Javanese dialect language [a] which can be used in Banyumas, Tegal, Brebes, and Javanese dialect [כ] which can be used in Surakarta, Semarang, and Yogyakarta.Keywords: teaching materials, ecolinguistics, local wisdom of elementary school.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar cerita dengan pendekatan ekolinguistik sebagai pengungkap kearifan lokal untuk pelestarian bahasa Jawa dan lingkungan siswa SD. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development. Produk penelitian ini berupa materi ajar cerita yang sesuai kebutuhan pembelajaran bahasa Jawa SD dalam bentuk wacana yang menggunakan bahasa Jawa dialek dimana siswa berada dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan budaya, kosakata, ungkapan tradisional, dan dongeng yang merupakan kearifan lokal. Materi ajar ini menggunakan bahasa Jawa dialek ngapak [a] yang dapat digunakan di Banyumas, Tegal, Brebes, serta bahasa Jawa dialek [כ] yang dapat digunakan di Surakarta, Semarang, dan Yogyakarta.Kata Kunci: materi ajar, ekolinguistik, kearifan lokal SD.

Abstract

Abstract: The study was intended to disseminate and to test the effectiveness of integrated communicative verbal folklore based Javanese teaching and learning at elementary schools as the manifestation of culture conservation. The study used experimental research design. The subjects of the study were the teachers and the students of elementary schools in Semarang and in Banyumas. The results of the study suggested that the teaching and learning design was effective. The learning outcome of the experimental class was better than controlled class and the performance of the experimental class during the teaching and learning was more active, enthusiastic, and creative. According to the teachers’ opinion, the teaching and learning did not only teach the language, literature, and cultures but it also built the characters. Besides, this teaching and learning could be considered as an alternative of the conservation of Javanese cultures.Keywords: integrated, communicative, verbal folkloreAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesiminasi dan menguji efektivitas desain pembelajaran bahasa Jawa SD yang integratif-komunikatif berbasis folklore lisan sebagai wujud konservasi budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa SD di Semarang dan Banyumas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran ini efektif. Hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol dan kinerja siswa kelas eksperimen selama pembelajaran lebih aktif, antusias, dan kreatif. Menurut pendapat guru, pembelajaran ini selain membelajarkan bahasa, sastra, dan budaya, juga membelajarkan karakter.
