Abstract

This research intended to appreciate the facts of (1) School climate for basic education, (2) society participation on the basic education, (3) Leadership of the school on basic education, ( 4) Input of the school for basic education, ( 5) teaching and learning process which school carried out for basic education, and ( 6) Image of the school that execute basic education.  The ex post facto method was conducted in this research.  Research population are education stakeholder at set of education of SD and SMP.  The sample was determined with cluster random sampling technique.  Questionnaire, guidance of interview, and documentation was conducted to get data and quantitative analysis with descriptive statistic and enriched with qualitative analysis.  Result of the research indicate that (1) School climate that execute basic education in Kota Kupang of Nusa Tenggara Timur Province have goodness or conducive condition.  Generally, the schools have serious efforts to create and improve school climate which progressively. (2) Degree of student parent participation or society participation is not yet optimal that is residing at good condition (the ground of good position) so that admit to be improved.  (3) Generally, The school have very good leadership pattern that is good sociability of teachers to school citizen, teachers have democratic model in teaching and learning process, and the teachers have the best set an example for his/her students or school citizen.  (4) Condition of facilities and basic facilities that found in the schools as basic education organizer generally have a goodness condition, treatment of facilities and basic facilities was happened as weakness that relate to those facilities, so the facilities and basic facilities not optimally function yet.  (5) Input for the Elementary School and Junior High School generally reside in good category.  (6) Teaching and learning condition at the schools that organized of basic education have a good category.  This means, that the teacher have ability to listen the student complaint, teaching method that applied the teacher can improve students being active in the teaching and learning process, good class atmosphere in the teaching and learning process, and very conducive for using optimally teaching aid in the teaching and learning process.  (7) interscholastic as an organizer of basic education to improve quality and development of school program have a tight or high competitive category.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe ;1) the interaction between learning and entry behavior on student’s achievement, 2) the difference of students achievement between Jigsaw and TGT model learning,3) the difference of students achievement through Jigsaw and TGT model learning for high entry behavior students. The population of the research was conducted at two classes with the samples of students class XE and XF  in SMA N I Terbanggi Besar Central Lampung. The research results show that : (1) there is an interaction of student’s achievement between learning and their entry behavior with P-value of  0,036, (2) the average student’s achievement who use Jigsaw  model learning is higher than TGT model learning with average difference of 1,94 and P-value 0,024,(3) the average achievement on high entry behavior students who use Jigsaw model learning is higher than TGT model learning with  the average difference of 5,14 and P-value 0,045.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan;1) interaksi antara pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal siswa dengan prestasi belajar siswa, 2) perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa antara yang belajar melalui pembelajaran model jigsaw dengan yang belajar melalui model TGT, 3) perbedaan prestasi belajar melalui pembelajaran model jigsaw dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal tinggi. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XE dan XF SMA N I Terbanggi Besar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal siswa pada prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai P-value 0,036, (2) rata – rata prestasi belajar siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran jigsaw lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang belajar melalui TGT dengan perbedaan rata -  rata sebesar 1,94 dan nilai P-value 0,024,( 3) rata – rata prestasi belajar siswa yang berkemampuan awal tinggi dengan pembelajaran jigsaw lebih tinggi daripada dengan TGT dengan perbedaan rata- rata 5,14 dan nilai P-value 0,045Kata kunci : jigsaw,matematika,TGT.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning by analyzing and finding: (1) design lesson plans that can be implemented into thematic learning with RME learning model, (2) the process of thematic learning using learning model RME, (3) evaluation using RME learning model, and (4) improvement of learning outcomes. The method used is a classroom action research with three cycles. The subjects were teachers and learners in grade IV.The results of this study concluded: (1) lesson plan is designed using model RME curriculum scientific approach 2013, (2) the learning process can enable learners to pay attention to the teacher presentations, answering questions teachers asked and discussions, tasks, activities of teachers in preparing lessons , (3) evaluation instruments using written tests using problem description, the validity of 0.395. Reliability value 0.698, level of difficulty about being, about distinguishing good, and (4) the study of students who meet the KKM 77.78%, 47.74% affective, and psychomotor 61.1%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran dengan menganalisis dan menemukan: (1) desain RPP yang dapat di implementasikan ke dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan model pembelajaran RME, (2) proses pembelajaran tematik menggunakan model pembelajaran RME, (3) pelaksanaan evaluasi menggunakan model pembelajaran RME, dan (4) peningkatan hasil belajar.Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV.Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) RPP didesain menggunakan model pembelajaran RME dengan pendekatan saintifik kurikulum 2013, (2) proses pembelajaran dapat mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam memperhatikan presentasi guru, menjawab pertanyaan guru,bertanya dan diskusi, mengerjakan tugas, aktifitas guru dalam mempersiapkan pembelajaran, (3) instrumen evaluasi menggunakan tes tertulis menggunakan soal uraian, nilai validitas 0,395. Nilai reliabilitas 0,698, tingkat kesukaran soal sedang, daya pembeda soal baik, dan (4) hasil belajar peserta didik yang memenuhi KKM 77,78%, afektif 47,74%, dan psikomotor 61,1%.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, realistic mathematic education, tematik

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to produced word processor teaching material by using the OpenOffoce.org Writer as a self-learning media for junior high school students, (2) to analyze the effectiveness of word processor teaching material by using OpenOffoce.org Writer.This study used research and development approach which was conducted in SMPN 2 South Abung, SMPN 1 Anak Ratu Aji, and SMP PGRI Trimodadi. The conclusions of this study were: (1) the development of teaching material was school potential, (2) the result of this development was in from of a product of teaching materials OpenOffoce.org Writer module validated by media, material, and instructional design expert, (3) teaching material OpenOffoce.org Writer module was effectively used as a learning media which was shown by the average value of the posttest for treatment class for cognitive was 8,25 and psychomotor was 8,31, which were bigger than the control class average value of posttest 6,77 for cognitive and 7,44 in psychomotor.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar pengolah kata OpenOffice.org Writer sebagai media belajar mandiri bagi siswa SMP, (2) menganalisis efektifitas bahan ajar pengolah kata OpenOffice.org Writer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan, dilakukan di SMPN 2 Abung Selatan, SMPN 1 Anak Ratu Aji dan SMP PGRI Trimodadi. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan menjadi potensi sekolah, (2) hasil dari pengembangan ini berupa bahan ajar modul tutorial OpenOffice.org Writer yang divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli desain pembelajaran, (3) bahan ajar modul OpenOffice.org Writer efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan nilai rata-rata posttest untuk kelas perlakuan untuk kognitif yaitu 8,25 dan psikomotor 8,31 lebih besar dari kelas kontrol yang nilai rata-rata posttest kognitif adalah 6,77 dan aspek psikomotor 7,44.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, modul, openoffice.org writer

Abstract

The objective of this research are, 1) to produce products in the of module interactive on prose and poem of Indonesia language lesson, 2) to know the effectiveness module interactive on poem and prose appreciation learning process, 3) to know the efficiency module interactive on prose and poem appreciation material. The subject in this research are students of twelfth class of SMK Wiratama Kotagajah. The result of this research are: 1) the development interactive module on prose and poem material through requirement analysis step, instructional design, design and developing media, try out, revision and final product. 2) increasing of student’s learning achievement with average 2,83 using modul interactive, 3) basic compentence learning of appreciation poem and prose using module interactive has efficiency like saving time is more than learning prosess using book or module printing, 4) module interactive has good interesting and evident to increase student’s motivation to constant of student’s assignment.Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) dihasilkannya produk produk berbentuk modul interaktif materi apresiasi prosa dan puisi mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, 2) diketahuinya efektivitas modul interaktif pada pembelajaran materi apresiasi prosa dan puisi, 3) diketahuinya efisiensi modul interaktif pada pembelajaran materi apresiasi prosa dan puisi. Subjek uji coba produk adalah siswa kelas XII SMK Wiratama Kotagajah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Pengembangan modul interaktif materi apresiasi prosa dan puisi melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain pembelajaran, desain dan pengembangan media, uji coba dan revisi serta produk final; 2) Modul interaktif meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa rata-rata 2,83; 3) Pembelajaran kompetensi dasar mengapresiasikan prosa dan puisi menggunakan modul interaktif memiliki efisiensi berupa penghematan waktu lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan media buku atau modul cetak; dan 4) Modul interaktif memiliki daya tarik yang baik dan terbukti meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk tetap pada tugas belajarnya.Kata kunci: apresiasi prosa dan puisi, efisiensi dan interaktif, modul interaktif

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to (1) describe condition and potency of vocational high school to develop business vocational module for twelfth grade of vocational high school, (2) describe the development of business vocational module for twelfth grade of vocational high school, (3) analyze the effectivity of business vocational module for twelfth grade of vocational high school. The population are students of vocational high schools of the twelfth grade in South Lampung. The conclusions of this research are: (1) business vocational module can be developed for the material of students in twelfth grade of vocational high school, (2) product of business vocational module is validated by the experts of material, language and design; (3) product of business vocational module is effective with the average score of students achievement whom using business vocational module is 86.20 > the average score of students achievement who did not using business vocational module is 70.36.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kondisi dan potensi SMK untuk dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan pada kelas XII SMK, (2) mendeskripsikan pada pengembangan bahan ajar berupa modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan yang sesuai dengan materi kelas XII SMK, (3) menganalisis efektivitas modul prakarya dan kewirausahaan pada kelas XII SMK. Populasi adalah siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan kelas XII di Lampung Selatan. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) modul Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan dapat dikembangkan untuk materi bagi siswa kelas XII SMK, (2) produk modul Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan yang dihasilkan divalidasi ahli materi, media dan desain, (3) produk modul Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan yang dihasilkan efektif dengan nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan modul Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan yaitu 86,20 > rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan modul Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan yaitu 70,36.Kata kunci: berorientasi pembelajaran kontekstual, kewirausahaan, modul prakarya

Abstract

The purpose of study, to determine: (1) the critical thinking skills of students who were given a model of the learning cycle hypothesis-deductive is higher than a model of the learning cycle empirical-inductive, (2) critical thinking skills of students who were given a model of the learning cycle hypothesisdeductive is higher than a model of the learning cycle empirical-inductive on high formal reasoning. (3) the critical thinking skills of students who were given a model of the learning cycle hypothesis-deductive is lower than a model of the learning cycle empirical-inductive on low formal reasoning. (4) there is interaction between the learning cycle model with a formal reasoning against critical thinking skills of students.The study population was all class X SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara school year 2011/2012 as many as 224 students. Abstract

The objectives of the research is to analize: 1)  Lesson Plan (RPP), 2) Learning process, 3) Learning evaluation system, 4) improving students’ achievement through cooperative learning make a match.This research is classroom action research with 3 cycles.The first cycle make a match learning  by using cards which contain questions and the cards which contains answers, the second and third cycle learning  by using make a match through cards, it is done out side of the classroom. Data analysis is collected by observation and analysis with quantitative descriptive. The conclusion of this research are: (1) the planning for cooperative learning through make a  match by synstax of learning activities  are: teacher tell the materials and the competency student should achieve, students are in group in six person doing learning process outside of the classroom by passing 3 post by following the instructions, students answer the test in the post, and the teacher help the students discuss. (2)  learning activity which can be seen  are   discussing, asking, answering the question , giving ideas, and doing  guided task. (3)  Evaluation system is by using multiple choice with 20 items. With the validity 0,73, realibility 0,89 and the difference 0,67 and level of difficulty 0,81. (4) Cooperative learning make a match for international relationship can improve students’ achievement, in XI IPS 1 that is 72 % cycle I and cycle II is 92%  and the third cycle  is 89 %, and in XI IPS 2 cycle I is 62 % and cycle II is 89 % and in cycle III 87 %.Kata kunci: make a match, prestasi  belajar PKn,  aktivitas siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the knowledge about teachers education, work motivation and good infrastructure independently (simple correlation) or simultaneously (multiple correlation) with teacher performance This type of research using the technique of correlation. The population in this research the entire country in MTs teachers in South Lampung Regency totaled 130 people. Sampling using tables Krecjie obtained a sample of 40 teachers. The Data collected with a questionnaire and analyzed with the correlation of the product moment. The conclusion of the research was a positive correlation, intimately, and significant 1) knowledge about teacher education with teacher performance by a coefficient of rxly=0,710 ;  2) motivation of working with teacher performance with a coefficient of correlation of rx2y =0,693; 3) infrastructure with the performance of the teacher with the correlation coefficient rx3y = 0.560; and 4 local teachers) knowledge, motivation, and infrastructure together with the performance of the teacher with the coefficient of correlation of rxl,2,3y = 0,779. The fourth hip the thesis in accordance with the test criteria that there is a positive correlation for r > 0, closely because r count > 0,60; and significant because r count > r table 0,257.Kata kunci: pengetahuan kependidikan, motivasi kerja, sarana prasarana, kinerja guru.

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) describe the learning condition and analyze the potential to develop mathematics module of Pythagoras theorem, (2) develop learning sources product in the form of mathematics of Pythagoras theorem module of SMP class VIII, (3) test the effectiveness the use of Pythagoras theorem module. This research was research and development, conducted in SMPN 4 Bandar Lam­pung, SMPN 28 Bandar Lampung and SMPN 5 Bandar Lampung. The steps of research referred to R&D Borg and Gall. The data collecting used questionnaire and test instruments. The data analysis were through quantitative and qualitative ways.The conclusion of the research were: (1) the Junior High Schools in Bandar Lampung had potential opportunity for module development, because there were no student’s learning sources and the books used so far did not support to achieve learning goals, (2) the development of products were validated by design expert, (3) the module was effective enough viewed from normalized score gain namely 0,48.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan kondisi pembelajaran dan menganalisis potensi untuk dikembangkannya modul matematika materi teorema pythagoras, (2) mengembangkanproduk bahan ajar dalam bentuk modul matematika materi teorema pythagorasSMP kelas VIII, (3) Menguji efektifitas penggunaan modul teorema pythagoras, (4) menguji kemenarikan modul teorema pythagoras.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan, dilakukan di SMPN 4 Bandar Lampung, SMPN 28 Bandar Lampung dan SMPN 5 Bandar Lampung.Langkah-langkah penelitian mengacu pada R&D Borg and Gall.Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes.Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) SMP di Bandar Lampung berpotensi untuk dikembangkannya modul, karena belum adanya modul sebagai bahan ajar siswa dan buku yang digunakan selama ini tidak mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran.2) produk pengembangan divalidasi oleh ahli desain, (3) modul cukup efektif dilihat dari nilai gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,48.Kata kunci : desain pembelajaran, modul, teorema pythagoras
