BERAT BADAN AKHIR, KONVERSI RANSUM DAN INCOME OVER FEED AND CHICK COST AYAM BROILER DENGAN PEMBERIAN RANSUM KOMERSIAL

Abstract

The aim of this study to determine the effect of feeding commercial rations on the final live weight, feed conversion and "income over feed and chick cost".This study uses 90 mixed sex chicken experiment with strain "Arbor acres" 707 SR. It produced of PT. Satwa Utama Raya (SUR), Maros and maintained for 6 weeks. They treatmented with 3 (three) rations : 1) Rx = feeding  rations manufactured by PT. X, 2) Ry = feeding rations manufactured by  PT. Y and 3) Rz = feeding rations manufactured by PT. Z. There are 5 (five) repetition for each treatment. The parameters are the final live weight, feed conversion and "income over feed and chick cost". The data are processed with a range of RAL and continued analysis of LSD when the results are significant.The result showed that the use of commercial rations are not significant to the final live weight, feed conversion and “income over feed and chick cost.

Abstract

Cassava waste is well known as one’s of agroindustry waste. Cassava waste can caused pollution because its high water. It’s make microorganism can grow well in the waste and produce odor to environt. That’s cause a serious pollution problem if we don’t care to the waste. Cassava waste  potential to be a feedstuff but its low nutrition need some treatment to enhance the nutrition. Cassava Waste high in fiber and low protein. Several research have done to know how far cassava waste can used as a feedstuff. As the research, applied biotechnology to the cassava waste enhance crude protein about 1000% , reduce crude fiber and HCN. The other hand, cassava waste fermented increase amino acids and vitamins. Poultry Feeding cassava waste fermented can support performance and productifity of broiler and laying hens. Kata kunci:Cassava waste, rations, poultry.

Abstract

This research is aim to know the effect feeding of cloves powder (Syzygium aromaticum ) to the performans of the chickens. This research involved 84 broiler chickens that are divided into 4 (four) treatments by the addition of cloves powder of Syzygium aromaticum 0,5%, 0,75%, 1,0%, and 1,25% to the ration. Each treatment was repeated 3 (three) times. Each treatment contain 7 (seven) chickens. Performans that measured are feed consumption, body weight rate and carcas percentation. Data analysis using variance/anova of the Completely Randomized Design (CRD). These results indicate that the addition of cloves powder (Syzygium aromaticum) has no real effect of the Performans of the chickens (P>0,05).Keywords: Powder of Syzygium aromaticum, performans, feeding, broilers.

Abstract

Daging ayam merupakan pangan asal hewan yang memiliki kadar protein tinggi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya cemaran bakteri Escherichia coli pada daging ayam yang dijual di pasar tradisional Makassar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode sampling dengan menentukan sampelnya dengan menggunakan metode random sampling yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel uji eksperimental. Dari data pengamatan dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif sebanyak 24 sampel daging ayam yang diperoleh dari pasar tradisional Makassar ditemukan adanya bakteri Escherichia coli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 100% sampel daging ayam telah tercemar bakteri Escherichia coli sesuai jumlah batas Escherichia coli yang diperoleh dari Standar Nasional Indonesia 1 x 101, dengan demikian maka nilai Escherichia coli 19 x 103 > 1 x 101. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas daging ayam dibeberapa pasar tradisional makassar tidak memenuhi oleh Dewan Standarisasi Indonesia (1 x 101).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of seaweed Sargassum sp. To weight gain in goats. Concentrate feeding using a different treatment is feed with the addition of Sargassum sp. 10% and 15% and without the addition of Sargassum sp. Research method used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 3 treatments and 5 replications ie P0 5 female goat (Control), P1 5 female goat + seaweed Sargassum sp. 10%, P2 5 female goat + seaweed Sargassum sp. 15%. To know the weight gain daily (PBBH). Weighing every 10 days for 2 months. The results showed that average weight gain P0 control 0.014 kg / head / day, P1 (Sargassum sp. 10%) 0.052 kg / day / tail, P2 (Sargassum sp.15%) 0.066 kg/day/The provision of Sargassum sp. had no significant effect on the daily weight gain of female goats, but the graph shows that there is a tendency of daily weight gain of female goats in each treatment
