Abstract

Abstract : This study uses a classroom action research . The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to know the color of the child through play water . The subjects were children PAUD Melati totaling 17 children . The results showed an increase in childrens ability to recognize colors 90 % based on the evaluation of the results of the first cycle and second cycle . Keywords : Recognize colors , Water play , Early childhood Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan kemampuan mengenal warna anak melalui bermain air. Subjek penelitian adalah anak PAUD Melati yang berjumlah 17 anak. Hasil penelitian menujukkan adanya  peningkatan kemampuan mengenal warna anak 90% berdasarkan evaluasi hasil dari siklus I dan siklus II. Kata kunci : Mengenal warna, Bermain air, Anak usia dini

Abstract

Purwodadi Botanical Garden is an ex-situ plant conservation institute, as well as an educational and recreation media. One of efforts to enhance the service is to reduce the noise around. The aim of this study was to compare diversity of tree and groundcover in homogenous and heterogeneous vegetation, and to observe effects of vegetation heterogeneity in Purwodadi Botanical Garden on noise mitigation. This study was conducted in four area; mahogany area, teak area, low-density and high density heteregenous area. Parameters included vegetation quality and noise level measured with sound level meter. Results showed highest diversity index of tree were found in low density heteregenous area (2.66), which was slightly differet than that in high density heterogenous one (2.63). Meanwhile, diversity index was low in homogoneus area (<1.5). Diversity index of groundcover in high density heteregenous and mahogany area were moderate (2.92 and 1.70 respectively), whilst the other two were low. High density heterogenous area was considered the best area that shows noice attenuation to 46 dB with effectivity 104.55%. Keywords: Heterogeneity, Noise, Quality, Vegetation
