Abstract

Siak Regency is area for development ofmining industries. The objective of this researchis to asses the impact of industrial development on social and economic status of peopleliving around tliis industrial area, namely: population, income distribution, education, socialinstitutions, busines.s opportunities, and the companies attitudes toward people around theindustrial area. Data and information area collected through a survey by purposive sam-pling. The research results show that the development of industrial area in Siak has a sig-nificant impact on social and economic progress in the area, such as business opportunities,employment, and income distribution. The development has also created new centers ofeconomic growth, local markets and local transportation facilities. From observation, it isfound that companies in the area hae enough atfcnlion toward local people by providingthem working capital for small business, practical skills, education, clinic and other socialfacilities.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify and analyze income distribution of credit recipients at Bangkinang City before and after receiving credit. This research was conducted at Bangkinang City, Kampar district. Income distribution of credit recipients was analyzed by Gini Ratio. The result showed that the revolving credit of Sari Madu BPR did not significantly change recipient’s income distribution but lower gini ratio indicated that the income distribution tended to distribute more evenly. According to the t-test, utilization of the credit in economic activities had significant effect on recipiuent’s net income, so the credit was valuable to help society starting their own businesses.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to 1) analyze the disbursement of credit fund from RuralAgribusiness Development micro finance (PUAP) and 2) to analyze the effectiveness ofloan repayment from group of farmers (Gapoktan) in Kuala Nenas village District ofTambang, Kampar Regency. This research was carried out for 3 months from Octoberuntil December 2010. This research found that the credit fund was distributedappropriately to eligible farmers. Abstract

Mostly Indonesian people depend their life on agricultural sector. Vegetable is one ofagriculture comodity which can give big contribution to economics development if itmanaged optimally. The productivity of vegetable influenced by natural factor (climate,soil, etc), fertilizer, pestiside, capital, and human resource. This research is aimed atidentifying the influence of production factor to mustard production and to analyze theallocation efficiency of the production factor usage in mustard farm using the purposivesampling method with 40 mustard farmer in Maharatu village, Marpoyan Damaisubdistrict. The estimated result with Cobb-Douglas production function indicated that theproduction of mustard farm in Maharatu village were influenced by seed, organic fertilizer,urea, NPK, pestisde, and labour in level 99%. The NPM/Px value for seed and urea is ≥ 1,it means the usage both of that factors can be increased. The value of NPM/Px for NPK,pestiside and labour usage is not important to reach economic efficiency condition and getthe maximum benefit.Keyword: mustard, production factor, cobb-douglas, economic efficiency

Abstract

Rural poverty is the main problem to overcome national can not be delayed andshould be a priority in the implementation of social welfare development.Government in poverty alleviation and job creation in rural areas, has launchedMandiri National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-M). The presenceof the PNPM-Mandiri through PUAP is expected to change the societies, both interms of income and income distribution. From the results showed that therespondents´ income from the agricultural sector amounted to Rp 124,387,319 or90.9% of total revenue. Revenue from non-agricultural sector amounted to Rp12.425 million or 9.1% of total income respondents, the average income permonth of Rp 5,472,493. Through analysis of the income distribution ofrespondents´ income, gini index ratio of 0.35 at the farmer respondents. Thisfigure shows that there is inequality in the income of farmers was lower inresponders. This can occur because of differences in income are quite evenlyamong respondents. Based on the analysis of the level of welfare by theDirectorate of Rural Development Year 1991/1992, as many as 81% or 20 kk ofthe respondents had been in poor condition. This indicates that the purpose of theprogram is to increase the level PUAP welfare/beneficiary PUAP fund has beenreached.Keywords: PUAP, revenue, income distribution.

Abstract

The objective of study was to analyse value chains and marketing margins from Sumber Gizi Nabati (SGN)and Melilea soybean milk agro-industries. This study was conducted from Februari until Maret 2013. Datacollected were those of primary and secondary data. The methods of study used case studies, while thedetermination of the population is conducted by survey method. The data obtained was analyzed usingdescriptive method, scoring in each indicators, multiple regresi analysis and then analysis of the marketingmargins. Most of respondents drawn from incidental consumersof soybean milk powder with number ofsample from SGN 30 people and Melilea 30 people.The result of this study; the value chain showed thatthere are two activities in a company, the primary activity and the support activity; margin analysis showedthat marketing margin of SGN industry greater than Melilea.Key words : Soybean Milk, Value Chain, Consument

Abstract

A development is an effort to gain the more and the better life. There are 4 indicators in gaining the development they are economic change, human resources, social inhibition and the high of life needed. A development in the development country likes Indonesia, generally more consider the development of economic sector in the hope of much progressed in production of job vacancy.There are two kinds of economic activities, they are from formal sector and informal one. Formal sector is a sector of educated people inside. The purpose of this study is to the income of the traders from food and beverage enterprises informal sector in Kecamatan Tampan City Pekanbaru and know the problems that are usually faced by food and beverage vendors informal sector businesses. This research method using purposive sampling effort sample size of 30 food and beverage businesses. Results showed revenue traders of food and beverage business is large enough to meet the needs of life and their families, while the problems faced by the traders capital, location and problems of knowledge management is still lacking. Abstract

The Reseacrh conducted in Microfinance Institution of UEK-SP Bulan Purnama Padang Bulan Village Senapelan Distric Pekanbaru City. The aim of research is to analysis a social performance and financial performance of Microfinance Institution. The social performance using the MIX Market analysis tool comprised of 16 indicators and measure financial performance analysis tools Pearlscon sistsof 17 ratios. Secondary data obtained by the method of documentation in the form of financial statements from 2009 to 2013 which comprises the balance sheet, loan statements, reports results of operations, the general state of the research and inany other information deemed necessary to supportand complement the data as well as data from related agencies among the research. Social performance of UEK-SP Bulan Purnama has achieved the social and social mission seen is out real and the dept of out reach of IMF, UEK-SP. The financial performance of UEK-SP Bulan Purnama showed that 17 rasio indicator PEARLS There are 8 indicators are in an ideal condition while the 9 indicators of the conditions are not ideal protection Ratios (Protection) (P1,P2), the ratio of out standing loans (E1), Delinquency ratio or Non Perfoaming Loan (A1), the ratio ofnetincome (R12), The ratio of current assets ungenerate (L3), Assets growth (S1) , Loangrowth (S2) and the growth of institutional capital (S6).   Keywords: UEK-SP, Social Performance, Financial Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the shape of the rubber marketing channels, costs, margins, profits and the relationship between the rubber farmers in the village Toke Teratak. This study uses survey and sampling techniques purposive sampling. The population in this study are 208 people with the number of farmers sampled as many as 24 people and 4 samples Toke appropriate criteria. More efficient marketing channels, namely, the marketing channel III. Marketing channel III total marketing costs are smaller and farmers share (Part Farmers received) higher and lower marketing efficiency. The amount of marketing margin analysis contained in the marketing channel of rubber channel 1 and channel Toke In the third, amounting to Rp. 2,500/kg. Marketing efficiency is more efficient (smallest) obtained at the third marketing channel that is Rp. 6.08% with a marketing fee of Rp. 730/kg and the farmer received Rp. 83.33%. The relationship between farmers and the dominant Toke comes to accounts payable, so that farmers have a high dependence on Toke   Keyword: Marketing channels, Patron-Client, Rubber Farmer, Toke

Abstract

This study aims to identify patterns of marketing channels made ​​by farmer of rubber at Pulau Busuk Jaya village, analyze the efficiency of the marketing of rubber at Pulau Busuk Jaya village, knowing the social relationship between the Tauke and the farmer of rubberand knowing theinterest and impeller factors of farmers to sell the rubber to the Tauke. The results showed that the marketing channels that occurred in the Pulau Busuk Jaya village consists of two marketing channels, namely channel 1 of the traders ( Tauke ) to wholesalers ( outside the village ) and go directly to the PT. Agrolestari Kuantan Singingi and on channel 2 of the traders ( Tauke ) go to the PT. Agrolestari Kuantan Singingi.Social relations that occur between the farmer of rubberand the Tauke which is a measure of the size of wealth, the size of honor, power and authority, size and knowledge. The interest and impeller factors of rubber farmer sell to the Taukeis influenced by several factors of which the interest factor that is price,provision of capital, social relation between farmer and traders (Tauke) appropriate bargaining system and the trust factor.
