ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI FKIP UNIVERSITAS RIAU

Abstract

The problems in this research was the factors that influence students’ learning motivation at economics department in faculty of teachers training and education of Riau university (i.e: motivation to learn in the classroom (Y1), motivation to carry out structured tasks (Y2), and motivation to learn independently (Y3)), particularly from external students (ie: the quality of lecturers (X1), the lecture method (X2), the conditions and atmosphere of the lecture hall (X3), the library facilities (X4), and the conditions and atmosphere of the park study (X5)). The participants of this research were the students of economics department at faculty of teachers training and education in Riau University in the academic year 2012/2013, the number of students is 294. This research was conducted in 50% samples (147 students), it was taken by the proportional technique of purposive sampling. The data were taken by using a questionnaire with four alternative answers. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, regression, and partial correlation with the level of significance of 5%. The result of descriptive analysis found that the students generally have high motivation  (to learn in the classroom, to do structured task, and to learn independently) respectively 86.4%, 87.1% and 88.4%. They also said that the quality of lecturers, the classroom conditions and atmosphere, as well as the library facilities are good, respectively 66.7, 59.2% and 45.6%. While the lecture method, as well as the conditions and atmosphere of the park study is enough to learn, respectively 59.2% and 51.7%. From the multiple regression analysis found that all of five independent variables (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5) have a significant effect on Y1, Y2, and Y3 with donations amounting to 22.8%, 24.2%, and 22.0%. While partially X1 and X2 have a significant relationship with Y1, Y2, and Y3. Unlike  X5 which has a significant relationship with Y2 and Y3, but not significant with Y1. Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini berfokus pada sistem kepercayaan di kalangan ibu hamil di masyarakatMelayu. Riset ini bertujuan mengetahui apresiasi kaum ibu hamil dalam memaknai mitos dan tabuhamil yang masih ada dan dipraktekkan dalam masyarakat Melayu. Tujuan berikutnya adalah mengidentifikasiperan relasi jender dan intervensi keluarga dalam prakteknya. Kajian dilaksanakan diKecamatan Singingi Hilir, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancarakepada responden para ibu hamil melalui pendekatan dialogical interpretation yang menghasilkannegotiate meaning untuk kemudian dituangkan dalam bentuk laporan. Data dianalisis denganmenggunakan teknik analisa mengalir (flow model of analysis). Melalui kajian mendalam dan pelaksanaandiskusi terfokus ditemukan bahwa mitos di kalangan ibu hamil pada hakekatnya mengandungunsur-unsur pendidikan karena ada makna yang dapat diintepretasikan sebagai pesansangat luas. Sanksi-sanksi yang diterapkan oleh para orang tua dan pasangan responden, umumnyabersifat umum dan mudah dicerna masyarakat. Pantang larang ini hakekatnya menyangkut nilai-nilaimoral dimana sikap dan perilaku buruk harus dijauhi oleh orang Melayu dan masyarakatnya. Itulahsebabnya orang-orang tua dalam masyarakat Melayu selalu mengingatkan masyarakatnya agarmeninggalkan dan menjauhi sikap dan perilaku yang dipantangkan.Kata Kunci: ibu hamil, mitos, sistem kepercayaan, masyarakat Malayu

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify and analyze the level of customersatisfaction from service dimensions and to figure out attributes needed to be improvedto increase customers satisfaction. This research was conducted at BudimanSupermarkets Padang. The population is all customers of Budiman Supermarkets. Thesamples is 100 customers determined byaccendential sampling technique. Data analysistechnique is used by Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer SatisfactionIndex (CSI). The results of Customer Satisfaction Index shows that customers aresatisfied with the services provided by Budiman Supermarket; and the results ofImportance Performance Analysis indicates some attributes need to be improved:Quadrant A consisted of K1, K2, K3, DT, DT2, DT3, BL3; and Quadrant B consisted ofK4, K5, J1.Keywords:Service, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Abstracts : Business owners of palm sugar in Rambah Tengah Barat Villagehas a limited to develop their businesses due to resources organization problems,production and marketing. On the other hand, the palm sugar has high economisvalues and able potentially increase their income. The purpose of this reseach is toanalyse the alternatives strategy in developing palm sugar production based onSWOT analysis. The population are all palm sugar business owners in the RambahTengah Barat Village amounted of 30 people and samples are taken five businessowners. Data is collected trough documentation study, questionnaires and interviewtechnique. Data is then, analyzed by descriptive qualitative based on SWOT analysis.This result of the research is seven alternatives of business development strategies thathave been prioritized. Abstract

Abstack : The automotive industry is growing very rapidly in Indonesia, especially motorcycles. This condition makes consumers will be more selective in deciding to buy a brand of motorcycles. Purchasing decisions can be based on a variety of things including the product attributes and consumer attitudes toward the product. In choosing a product, consumers will be influenced by product attributes. Based on higher sales and a growing number of users Beat ESP Series as well as increased competition in product design attributes tribute to attract consumers. In this case, this study has the objective to determine the effect of product attributes and attitudes of consumers towards the purchase decision. This research is a quantitative research. The population is a student at the University of Riau with established criteria, then it is used a sample of 50 students with accidental sampling technique. Moreover, data and instruments is used primary data and questionnaire survey method. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, classic assumption test and multiple linear regressions. The results obtained by analysis of product attributes and consumer attitudes or a significant positive influence on purchase decisions. From the results of research, the researcher suggested that firms increase or maintain product attributes in order to remain the top choice of consumers.Keywords : Decision Purchasing, Product Attributes, Consumer Attitudes

Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: This study is a Class Action Research in Elementary School 035 Sekeladi, the purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model type Non Example Example in improving students motivation. Subyek research in fourth grade 035 Sekeladi. From the research, the teacher Increased activity occurs on the implementation of the second cycle, which reached a 87.50% with a category (very good). Aktiviats students also increased, which in the first cycle of student activity only get a 64.81% and increased to 80.86% with both categories (very well). Motivasi also seen increased student learning. This is evident from the percentage of student motivation in the first cycle that only earn a percentage 57.87% in both categories, the increased to 76.39% with the category (very well). Based on the results of the discussion showed that the use of cooperative learning model example of non example is able to increase students motivation in social studies class IV SD Negeri 035 Sekeladi Tanah Putih Rokan downstream.Keywords: Example non example and Motivation Learning

Abstract

Abstrak: The background of this study is that the students interest in learning IPS relatively low which is characterized by a sense of interest in the students social studies, less the members attention, a sense of curiosity of students. Besides, teachers using conventional methods, ie lectures and without the use of media so that students feel bored and berinplikasi on student interest. Of the necessary problem Action Research (PTK) by applying the learning method Kooperative Non Example Example Learning mode. This study aims to increase interest in social studies class VIII MTs At Thohiriyah Srikayangan districts Tanjung Medan. The population number of students as many as 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles each cycle consisting of two meetings. Instrument of data collection in this study is the observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet and observation sheet student interest. The results of the analysis of the activity of teachers in the first cycle of 45% in the category enough, the second cycle increased to 83.3% lam very good category. While the results of the analysis of the activity of students in the first cycle of 58.3% in the category enough, the second cycle increased to 87.2% in the excellent category, activities of student interest cycle I 48.27% in the medium category and the second cycle has reached the level of success ie 87.45% in the high category. Abstrack: Picture and Picture learning method is a series of teaching materials delivered by showing pictures - concrete images that the students can understand clearly about the true meaning of the teaching materials presented to him. Thus, the main ingredient of the use of methods of picture and Picture is a picture - a picture that involves learning materials. The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of picture and Picture In the method of increasing student interest in learning social studies grade IV SDN 022 Sintong Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. Where the research was conducted in SDN 002 Sintong Tanah Putuh. The sample used is siwi fourth grade students numbered 21 people, consisting of 9 men and 12 women. Data was collected using observation sheet for teachers, students and student interest. Analysis technique used is sheet activities of teachers, the observation sheet and interest in learning. From the results of data analysis that has been done shows a method of picture and picture can improve the learning interest of fourth grade students of SDN 022 Sintong Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir proven and is one of the exciting learning methods in the learning process in the classroom can be accepted. Abstrack: In general, social studies are taught using lecture and question and answer with the involvement of students in the learning process was minimal. Consiquencyt, students are not motivated to keep learning as expected by teachers So many students do not pay attention when the teacher explains the lesson, is not eager to ask or answer questions from teachers and do not want to know about what is conveyed by the teacher. Additionally, when the teacher gives the task, there are many students who do not do the work. It inlah which shows students motivation in learning is very low. To that end, efforts should be made improvements in the learning process by selecting the appropriate teaching methods and appropriate for use. So students have the motivation to participate in every stage of learning. The aim of the study was to increase the motivation of social studies students of class VII in SMP N 6 Tanah Putih by using cooperative learning model make a match. This research was conducted in SMP N 6 Tanah Putih. The sample used in this study were students of class VII consists of 24 students. Data was collected using observation sheet teacher activity, student activities, student motivation and achievement test. Data analysis techniques in this study using the technique teacher activities, student activities and student motivation. From the analysis done shows cooperative learning model make a match proved to increase motivation to learn, especially in the IPS study Bisang class VII N 6 Tanah Putih.Keywords: PPD Learning Method, Student Motivation

Abstract

Abstrac:This study aims to determine the effect of basic teaching skills of teachers to wards students’ learning outcomes on accounting subject at the public high school 1 Pangaribuan Province of North Sumatera. Populasi of the research is student, grade XI IPS a much of 120; sample is gained using simple random sampling technique, resulted 55 respondents. Data then is analysed using SPSS version 16. The result showed that the basic teaching skills of teachers has significant effect on student learning outcomes, 57.6%. The more often teachers teach basic skills performed by teachers expected the higher the students learning outcomes. Simple linier regression equation obtained in this study is Y = 39,547 + 0,494 X. This means that if the teachers to teach basic skills (x) does not exist, the amount of learning outcomes (y) of 39,574 and of any increase in the teachers teaching basic skills will improve student learning outcomes at 0,494.Key Words: Teaching basic skills teachers and learning outcomes
