Abstract

The Problem in this research was the abilyty to write a description of the high school students of class X Bangun Rejo Pelita High Scholl Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011. This study aims to describe about the students skills in writing essays description.The method used in this reseach is a method of description. The population in this study were high school students of class X Pelita High School of Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011, amounting to 153 students spread over 4 classes. Samples were taken 15% of each class, so that the sample amounted to 23 students drawn randomly. The data is taken through a written test. Test such as essay writing task description with the experience they have.The results showed that mean score of the overall results of essay writing skills test descriptions Pelita high school students class X Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011 is 63,5% classified enough. The average capacity of each aspect are (1) the background of the title selection category excellent93,4%, (2) the accuracy of the posts with 60% categorized enough title, (3) similarity of the writing object category less 47,74%, (4) creating the impression readers categorized less 57,39%, (5) uncategorized outline less 58,28%, (6) a description of the facts in the sentence category enough 71,30%, (7) development of a sentence to paragraph 40,87% less uncategorized, (8) the preparation of a compotions paragraph description of 78,26% categorizedgood, (9) 44,35% effective sentence categorized less, (10) 77,39% categoryzed vocabulary good, (11) 70,43% categorized spelling enough, (12) the use of punctuation 69,57% categorized enough. From the results of the study can also be seen that the background for the selection of titles aspects are at the highest percentage is 93,4% and in the category of very good.Based on these results it can be concluded that the ability to write a description of the high scholl students of class X Pelita Bangun Rejo Central Lampung Academic Year 2010/2011 clasified as category enoughwith 63,5% and the percentage of outages drift interval 60%-74%.Keywords:Ability to Write, EssayDescription, Grade Student X.

Abstract

The problem research was language attitude of student on Class VII SMP Darma Bangsa Academic Year 2012/2013 and its implications toward Bahasa Indonesia Learning in SMP. The purpose research is to describe language attitude of student on Class VII SMP Darma Bangsa and it implications toward Bahasa Indonesia Learning at SMP. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative, for solving problems by describing the state of the object of study was based on the facts as they appear. The population study were students of class VII Junior High School Darma Bangsa year 2012/2013, amounting to 34 students spread in two classes. Results of research is implications toward Bahasa Indonesia Learning at SMP concluded that the language attitudes junior class VII on the use of Indonesian in the category of very good or positive.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah sikap bahasa siswa kelas VII SMP Darma Bangsa Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan sikap bahasa siswa kelas VII SMP Darma Bangsa dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa indonesia.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yakni penyelesaian masalah dengan memaparkan keadaan objek penelitian berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampil sebagaimana adanya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Darma Bangsa tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 34 siswa yang tersebar dalam dua kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap bahasa siswa kelas VII SMP Darma Bangsa Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 terhadap pemakaian bahasa Indonesia masuk dalam kategori sangat baik atau positif.Kata kunci: bahasa, pembelajaran, sikap.

Abstract

This reseach was aimed at describing the learning process of poetry creative writing of seven grade student at SMP N 19 Bandarlampung in the year of 2012/2013. The method was used qualitative descriptive. Data collecting technique used observation, interview, and documentation study. The result of the reseach showed that the lesson plan by the teacher was formal lesson plan that consists of pre-activity, while activity, and post activity. Teaching-learning process of poetry creative writing in form of teachers activity and students activity in the class. In teaching-learning process, the teacher used explanatory method, task giving method, and recitation. Learning evaluation used by the teacher were process evaluation and task giving evaluation in from of project.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis kreatif puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa RPP yang dibuatguru merupakan RPP formal yang terdiri atas kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis kreatif puisi berupa aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa di dalam kelas. Pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru mengunakan metode ceramah, metode pemberian tugas, dan resitasi. Penilaian pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru adalah menggunakan penilaian proses dan penilaian penugasan dalam bentuk projek.Kata kunci: menulis kreatif, proses pembelajaran, puisi.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the learning about writing negotiation text at X class students of SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. The objective is describing the learning of writing negotiation text, especially X class students of SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu in 2013/ 2014. The method is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects are the teacher and the students. According to the results, it was concluded that lesson plan made by the teacher in overall had been created based on the component expected in Curriculum 2013. The implementation of learning also showed that it had been pointed to the application of Curriculum 2013, that is applying scientific approach. The evaluation from the teacher then consists of non-test evaluation and test evaluation. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning about writing negotiation text at X class students of SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu had been implemented well by the teacher and the students.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi khususnya siswa SMA kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat guru secara keseluruhan telah dirancang berdasarkan komponen yang dituntut ada dalam Kurikulum 2013. Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran telah diarahkan pada pengaplikasian kurikulum 2013, yakni menerapkan pendekatan scientific. Kemudian, penilaian yang dilakukan guru meliputi penilaian nontes dan penilaian tes. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks negosiasi pada siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Pringsewu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 telah dilaksanakan oleh guru dan siswa dengan baik.Kata kunci: menulis, negosiasi, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The problem of this research is how the social problem in Projo dand Brojo novel by Arswendo Atmowiloto and the implication in teaching literature in SMA. This research aims to find out social problem countaining in Projo and Brojo novel and to know the implication in learning Indonesian literature in SMA. The method that is used is qualitative descriptive method. Data resource in this research is Projo and Brojo novel by Arswendo Atmowiloto. the analysis of result shows that social problem which is appear in novel that is competition, contrary, and gap. The implication of Projo and Brojo novel in learning literarature in SMA is the novel can be material in SMA. This matter based on the analysis of social problem and also from language aspect, psychology, cultural backgrouns, and school based curriculum.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana problem sosial dalam novel Projo dan Brojo karya Arswendo Atmowiloto dan implikasinya dalam pengajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kandungan problem sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Projo dan Brojo dan untuk mengetahui implikasinya di dalam pembelajaran sastra Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Projo dan Brojo karya Arswendfo Atmowiloto. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa problem social yang muncul dalam novel yaitu persaingan, pertentangan, dan kesenjangan. Implikasi novel Projo dan Brojo dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMA adalah novel tersebut dapat dijadikan bahan ajar di SMA. Hal ini berdasarkan analisis kandungan problem sosial serta dari aspek bahasa, psikologi, latar belakang budaya, maupun Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP).Kata kunci: novel, problem, sastra, sosial.

Abstract

The problem at this research is how does the ability of student in XI class of SMA N 1 Banjit in determining the meaning relation. The aim of this research is to describe the ability of student in XI class of SMA N 1 Banjit in choosing the relation of meaning. The method of this research uses desciptive method. This research data is colected through the written tes of instrument which is consisting 50 objective questions that are 30 multiple choice questions, 10 make and match questions and 10 esay questions. The instrument has been tested by realibility as many as 0,962. The result of this research shows that the average value of student ability in choosing the relation meaning is 69 include enough category. The high average value takes in determining hiponym that are 79. While the lowest average values are 60 which include less category.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tingkat kemampuan menentukan relasi makna pada siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Banjit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan menentukan relasi makna siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Banjit. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes tertulis berisi 50 soal objektif, berupa 30 soal pilihan ganda, 10 soal menjodohkan dan 10 soal isian singkat. Instrumen telah dicobaujikan dengan realiabilitas sebesar 0,962. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa menentukan relasi makna sebesar 69 Dan termasuk kategori cukup. Skor rata-rata tertinggi berada pada apsek menentukan hiponim yakni sebesar 79 termasuk kategori baik. Sedangkan skor rata-rata terendah berada pada aspek menentukan polisemi yakni sebesar 60 termasuk kategori kurang.Kata kunci: kemampuan, menentukan, relasi makna.

Abstract

The problem presented in this research was how is the learning process of Reading Aloud at the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Pesawahan Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2012/2013. Based on the problem above, the objective of this research was to describe the learning process of Reading Aloud including planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning Reading Aloud. Based on the result of this research, lesson plan created by teachers was less appropriate for its criteria i.e. the clarity of the formulation of learning objectives, learning scenario, and the completeness of instruments. The implementation of learning process including teachers activity in the class consisted of pre-activity, while-activity, and post-activity. The students activity in implementing Reading Aloud consisted of some criteria, but there were criteria of students activity which were unappropriate when implementing learning process occured. The assessment or evaluation of students work was conducted by teacher with testing technique, i.e. written test and oral test.Masalah yang dipaparkan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah proses pembelajaran membaca nyaring siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Pesawahan Bandar Lampung tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran membaca nyaring meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran membaca nyaring. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh guru kurang sesuai dengan beberapa kriteria Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, yaitu Kejelasan perumusan tujuan pembelajaran, kejelasan skenario pembelajaran, dan kelengkapaan instrumen. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang berupa aktivitas guru dalam kelas terdiri atas kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Kegiatan aktivitas siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran membaca nyaring terdiri dari beberapa kriteria, namun ada kriteria aktivitas siswa yang tidak sesuai pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung. Penilaian hasil belajar siswa atau evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan oleh guru dengan teknik tes, yaitu tes tertulis , dan tes lisan.Kata kunci : evaluasi, pelaksanaan, perencanaan.

Abstract

The problem of this research is learning of comparing a complex procedure text between class X MIA and class X IS students of SMAN 1 Gadingrejo. The aim of this research is to describe the learning of comparing a complex procedure text between both of two classes. The method of this research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this research are the teacher and the students. The result of this research shows that the teacher has designed the learning activity according to the regulation of 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in both classes had applied the scientific approach in accordance to 2013 curriculum. The teacher had completed the learning assessment by doing test and non-test. So, it can be concluded that the learning of comparing a complex procedure text between class X MIA and class X IS SMAN 1 Gadingrejo had been implemented properly by the teacher and the students.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran membandingkan teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X MIA dan X IS SMAN 1 Gadingrejo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran membandingkan teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X MIA dan X IS SMAN 1 Gadingrejo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru telah merancang kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum 2013. Penerapan pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kedua kelas telah mengaplikasikan pendekatan scientific, sesuai dengan Kurikulum 2013. Pada penilaian pembelajaran guru juga telah melakukan penilaian tes dan nontes. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran membandingkan teks prosedur kompleks siswa kelas X MIA dan X IS SMAN 1 Gadingrejo telah dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru dan siswa.Kata kunci: membandingkan, pembelajaran, teks prosedur kompleks.

Abstract

The problem in this research was mixed of Sundanese code into Indonesian language to the speech of the students‟ speech class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Kelumbayan Barat Tanggamus. The objective of this research was to describe the forms of mixed code. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative, which is by explaining the object research situation based on the real facts. The source of this research was the students‟ speech class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Kelumbayan Barat Tanggamus. The data in this research was in form of mixed code of Sundanese language into Indonesian language in the speech of students‟ speech class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kelumbayan Barat Tanggamus. The result of this research showed that mixed code that done by the students include the basic form of word and the form of infix. The factors that caused of mixed code were background and language of speaker‟ attitude. Furthermore, foud that there were twenty one data of mixed code that done by the students with 20 forms of basic word and 1 form of infix. Mixed code that had the primary meaning of lexical items amounted of 7 and secondary meaning was 14.Key words: mixed code, student‟ speech class VII of SMP Negri 1 Kelumbayan Barat Tanggamus.

Abstract

The problem of this research is about the use of adverb in the opinion article of Kompas newspaper and its implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA. The aim of this research is to describe the use of adverb in opinion articles of Kompas and its implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA. The method of this research is a qualitative research. The data sources of this research is an opinion article of Kompas. The results of this research shows that the use of adverb is exist in the opinion article of Kompas. It is used productively by the writer with the purpose is for broadening the sentence and clarifying the writer intention. An adverb in opinion article of Kompas has an implication in the process of learning Indonesian language for SMA especially in term of structure based writing.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas dan implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel opini yang terdapat dalam surat kabar Kompas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas terdapat penggunaan adverbia yang digunakan secara produktif oleh penulis dengan tujuan untuk memperluas kalimat dan memperjelas maksud penulis. Adverbia pada artikel opini surat kabar Kompas berimplikasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA mengenai kemampuan menulis sesuai struktur.Kata kunci: adverbia, artikel, pembelajaran.
