Abstract

This paper presents multiobjective H2/H? control design with regional pole constraints. The state feedback gain can be obtained by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI) feasibility problem that robustly assigns the closed-loop poles in a prescribed LMI region. The proposed technique is illustrated with applications to the design of stabilizer for a typical single-machine infinite-bus (SMIB) power system. The LMI-based control ensures adequate damping for widely varying system operating conditions. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed stabilizer.

Abstract

The title of research is : the effect of heat threatment  on characteristics of non ferous metal (bronze), in polytehnic state of andalas university by Sahat S.T.  in designing/constructing field, we must be able to construct significant characteristics of metal. It is due to demand of contruction it self, as well as the restriction of materials which are available in the market where the contruction takes places. The research aims not only to increase writer’s competence in research, but also to prove theoritical truth which can be founf in several references. Beside that, it can be utilized to improve institutional progress where the research is being conducted. The research  is conducted throught a certain method namely qualitative method. There are five sampling threatment that are conducted. The result of heat threatment will be testified/analyced with tortion and harness testing process. The final finding of this research proves the truth of theoritical statement. It is suggested that the further research should be conducted by using time variables /variant in heat threatment process.

Abstract

Penggunaan pegas daun biasanya ditemukan industri transportsi, terutama transportasi darat. Sejalan dengan perkembangan transportasi itu sendiri, industri yang mengkhususkan diri pada masalah pegas daunpun muncul. Salah satu permasalahn diidentifikasi adalah pegas daun tersebut patah. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menemukan pengaruh media pendingin seperti air asin, minyak dan air dalam proses pendinginan perlakuan panas dan penurunan temperature pada bagian pegas daun yang disambungkan dengan pengelasan SMAW, untuk mendapatkan kekuatan hasil pengelasan. Suatu uji tarik dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dari setiap perlakuan. Hasil uji tarik material yang mengalami pendinginan temperatur perlakuan panas adalah yield strength meningkat 7 % dan tensile strength  16%, tetapi elongation berkurang 22%.

Abstract

Teknik pengelasan dibutuhkan dalam penyambungan baja pada saat ini, seperti; konstruksi bangunan dan konstruksi mesin. Salah satu permasalahan dalam proses mengelas umumnya adalah terjadinya cacat sambungan. Secara khusus terjadi pada titik pengelasan yang diakibatkan oleh kekuatan arus listrik dan lama penekanan elektroda maka, riset ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efek arus elektrik dan waktu tekan terhadap karakteristik baja SPCE pada titik pengelasan. Dengan riset ini, ditemukan berapa arus elektik dan waktu tekan yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan las yang kuat dan sempurna. Dari hasil riset plat SPCE terhadap perubahan kekuatan arus elektrik dan waktu tekan diperoleh efek ke garis tengah manic sebab mempunyai masukan calor dan perubahan struktur mikro dari plat. Garis tengah manic yang terbentuk lebih besar diperoleh dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Milled corn is the main ingredient in the manufacture of animal feed which is consumed by large and small farmers. As a staple fodder then the level of smoothness of the corn mill to be adjusted to the age of animals, whether for fattening or production due to an effect on the growth of livestock. Corn milling technology has been obtained from the machine that works  with  the  principle  of  collision  (Hammer  Mill)  and  grinding  with  the  friction  of  the two  plates are  serrated  (Burr  Mill)  Technology types of collisions of large capacity  (1  to 1.5 tons / hour), this machine is effective, and easy to manufacture, but the weakness of the power used and the results of varying age’s mill. While Burr Mill type milling technology, have low initial cost, and  milling  capacity 200-300  kg  / hour and  the power used  ranged from 1 to 1.5 hp or 1 / 3 of the power used by grinding crushed with the same capacity. For that, the design and manufacture of corn grinding machine Bur Mill with centrifugal system needs  to  be  done.The  purpose  of  this  research  is  to  engineer  a  model  /  prototype  corn grinding  machine  Burr  Mill  type  centrifugal  system  by  developing  several  components, namely  blade  cutter  with  multiple  cutting  angles,  a  distance  of  estrangement  knife  setter component,  and   the   inlet   system   and   perform   testing   of   prototypes  to   determine   the capacity, efficiency pengilingan and grain size of the mill.From the results of this study was made later after the engine was tested and has succeeded in producing corn mill capacity of 110 kg / h with 900 blade angle average of the three distance gap, with the blade angle of 75 degrees is the capacity of corn 126.6 kg / h, and 600 blade angle is 137.3 kg / hr. The largest grain size is 30 dormitory at the third angle of the blade with a gap distance of 0.2 mm. Maximum mill capacity results obtained on the blade angle of 75 degrees.

Abstract

At process having to do with machines or turning material that ductile usually having problem. For example at cutting process have income chip that continue or not broken. So chip be turn at material. The matter can be disturb in turning process, much time that free to clean teh chip, because the machine always turn on and turn off. The solution is used cutting chip radius that long chip. So turn machine operator can work with efficient and quality of work more increase. Purpose of the research is to know large of cutting radius that appropriate to turn steel S 45 C and to know how for effect of large of cutting radius to long of chip. Based on data analysis that regressed  having result of experiment with used radius 0,25 (mm) income long of chip average 11,09 (mm), radius 0,5 (mm) income long of chip average 17,54 (mm), radius 0,75 (mm) income long of chip average 23,45 (mm), radius 1,0 (mm) income long of chip average 32,41 (mm), radius 1,25 (mm) income long of chip 42,91 (mm), radius 1,3 (mm) income long of chip average 55,45 (mm). Include the larger of cutting chip radius so income long the chip can be long form long turning process, so turn of chip at material or object be able to displacement.

Abstract

The research of disign and produce of coconut milk machine with combining of scrapper unit and squeezer that work together, was be done in the workshop of Politechnic machine in UNP. Then was done the testing technique through machine to know the macnine operation some turning Variation. The purpose of this research are to produce a prototype of coconut milk machine in a squeezer unit and scrapper to do the technique testing and economic analyze to know how much the pays of squeezer operation the method that use in this reseach are manufacturing prototype and machine testing operation. The result of machine operation at coconut milk process can be got the average the squeezer capacity. They are at the slots distance about 0,3 mm with capacity 85 kg/hour, 0,5 mm with capacity 79,2 kg/hour. 1 mm with capacity 78,96 kg/hour and 1,5 mm the capacity 57,2 kg/hour. The weigh of coconut milk that produce about 15 coconut at slots of distance 0,3 mm is 2,68 kg, 1,5 mm with the weigh 1,44 kg from those economic analysis car get the pay at milk machine operational about Rp 76 / kg scrapper coconut.

Abstract

Dakak-dakak   is   special   food   that   produced   home   industri   from   Sumbar   especialy Batusangkar.  In  general capacity of home  industri  Dakak-dakak have limited  ±  120  form come   in   roll/hours  cause   it   has  obstacle   at   type  pressing   noodle   come   in  rolls,   the traditional way is using piece of coconut shel has hig a hole with variation size it was suit able size of Dakak-dakak that wanted. So need tool press that can be won’t as continue well can get with from in rolls soon.The purpose of this activity to increase the capability home industri  of  Dakak-dakak  as  maximal  with  using  tool  as  mechanism.  From  this  activity producted machine press of Dakak-dakak through machine with at transmition system used screw  so  got  rools  noedle  to  automatic  press.  Result  machine  used  4  press  and  machine moved the press through axis with continue circle each others moved of ¼ circle couse used fly  well  capacity  of  press  machine  Dakak-dakak  to  product  form  come  in  rools  noodle  it 600  / hour or 3600  / 6  hours,  because in  one day works  get form  come  in  rools at home industry dakak-dakak is 6 hours.

Abstract

This paper presents an efficient simulated annealing (SA) algorithm for solving economic load dispatch (ELD) problems in electrical power system. The objectives of ELD problems in electric power generation is to programmed the devoted generating unit outputs so as to meet the mandatory load demand at lowest amount operating cost while satisfying all units and system equality and inequality constraints. Global optimization approaches is inspired by annealing process of thermodynamics. The SA algorithm presented here is applied to two case studies, which analyze power systems having three, and six generating units. The results determined by SA algorithm are compared to those found by conventional quadratic programming (QP) and genetic algorithm (GA).

Abstract

This study examines the cooperative learning implementation at accounting department of the economic faculty of Trunojoyo University. Specifically the aims of this study are 1) to test the influence of cooperative learning with student team achievement division method on the grade of  Introduction of Accounting II subject, 2) to find out whether some indicators of cooperative learning, such as attitude toward home team, attitude toward expert team, classroom issues, seft-esteem, interpersonal skills and perception about achievement is the same or not for gender and academic categories. Treatment students as much as 43 students from accounting department of the Economic Faculty of Trunojoyo University. From the results of Probit model, it can be concluded that only classes implementing cooperative learning that influence probabilities to achieve satisfied grade for  Introduction of Accounting II subject. Meanwhile, other variables do not have significant influences on the achievement of score for  Introduction of Accounting II subject.  The result of multivariate analysis of variance (Manova) shows that there is no correlation and difference between male and female gender and between students who has high academic achievement and those who have low academic achievement with variables that measure cooperative learning construction.Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia:Penelitian ini menguji implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif pada program studi akuntansi fakultas ekonomi universitas trunojoyo. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode divisi pencapaian kelompok mahasiswa terhadap nilai mata kuliah akuntansi pengantar II, 2) untuk menguji apakah indikator-indikator pembelajaran kooperatif seperti sikap terhadap teman kelompok, sikap terhadap kelompok ahli, sikap terhadap masalah-masalah akuntansi di kelas, harga diri, kemampuan interpersonal dan persepsi terhadap pencapaian menurut jenis kelamin dan kemampuan akademik. Sebanyak 43 orang mahasiswa program studi akuntansi fakultas ekonomi universitas trunojoyo diberi perlakuan pembelajaran kooperatif. Dari hasil pengujian probit, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hanya variabel pengimplementasi pembelajaran kooperatif yang signifikan berpengaruh terhadap perolehan nilai mata kuliah akuntansi pengantar II yang memuaskan. Hasil pengujian analasis varian multivariate menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan dan perbedaan antara jenis kelamin laki-laki dan wanita serta antara mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan akademik yang tinggi dan yang rendah dalam memandang variabel-variabel yang mengukur konstruk pembelajaran kooperatif.Kata Kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif, sikap, kemampuan dan jenis kelamin
