Abstract

This study was designed to create different atmosphere on learning illustration drawing for primary school students. The method was through fairy tales before students begin to draw. This research used quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The sample was 5th grade primary school students in SDN Sukalilah, reflected the population of all 5th grade primary school students in Pamulihan subdistrict. Analyzed using significant poin at 0.05 or 5%, results showed that learning through fairy tales method contributed significantly to students result of animal and its nature illustration drawing, with determinant percent 45,02%. In addition, using Fairy Methode could increase the Learning Motivation of the students, yet, not significantly. There are positive relations between the Learning Drawing result by Learning Motivation of student for about 0,25%.

Abstract

The general purpose of this research is to know the difference of creativity improvement of imaginative drawing between students who learn used the synoptic model and students who learn used the conventional model. The researchs design is quasi experiment. The sample in this research is grade III student of SDN I Jemaras Lor as control class and SDN II Jemaras Kidul as experiment class. The research  instruments include basic skills test, students creativity test, observation format, questionnaire, and interview guide. Result of research with significance level of α = 0,05 that have do indicate that synoptic learning model and conventional model can increase student creativity significantly. Based on the U-test, it is known that the synoptic model is not significantly better than the conventional model on improve students creativity. On the learning process, in general case the students give a positive response to study that use the synoptic model, it was seen in the questionnaire that has been collected. The factors that can support synoptic models learning can be seen from the performance of teachers that give optimal learning start from planning, implementation, until the evaluation. In addition, there is a sense of fun and interest of students to learning. Furthermore the inhibiting factor is grouping of the students did not do heterogeneous.

Abstract

Learning proccess without media causing a lack of drawing creativities development of students, so they can’t brings up their creative ideas. That case encourage the researcher to apply animated movies as a learning alternative media to stimulate their creativities. The aim of this research is to test animated movies usage as a learning alternative media. This research included into nonequivalent control group of quasi experimental design. The sample are taken from purposive sampling technique. The researcher got the data by test, observation, interview, and questionnaire. The analysis data which used is Shapiro-Wilk (normality), Levene (homogeneity), and free t sample (average difference test). The research result shows significant differences about student creativities between experiment class and control class. The calculation results using free t sample test, obtained P-value (sig. 2-talled) amounting to 0,00 which is H0 received. So it can be concluded that animated movies usage more effective to improve student creativities in illustrations drawing.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan yaitu menerapkapkan metode pasangan berbagi pada pembelajaran menulis surat pribadi di kelas IV-A SDN Tegalkalong I Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi menulis surat pribadi dengan menerapkan metode pasangan berbagi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak  tiga siklus, dan mengalami peningkatan dalam kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam keterampilan menulis surat pribadi pada setiap siklusnya. Adapun peningkatan pelaksanaan kinerja guru, yaitu pada  siklus I (85,3%), siklus II (94,1%), dan siklus III (100%). Sedangkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada setiap siklusnya, yaitu siklus I (66, 67%), siklus II (76,19%), dan siklus III (90,48%), dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, yaitu siklus I (42,86%), siklus II (61,9%), dan siklus III (90,48%). Peningkatan tersebut membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode pasangan berbagi efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis surat pribadi di SDN  Tegalkalong I Kecamatan Sumedang Utara Kabupaten Sumedang.Kata Kunci: Metode Pembelajaran, Pasangan Berbagi, Menulis Surat Pribadi.

Abstract

The purpose research is critical thinking ability increasing in the music art of Tegalkalong Elementary School’s the fifth-B class Of North Sumedang Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency of the archipelago song of variety material with contextual approach using. The research is one of the class action research with 24 students. The research is doing by the third cycles of using Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s self-reflection spiral model which divided from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The using instruments are observation, evaluation, interview, and field note. Lots of target have reached in the third cycle. Attainment percentage is 100% for teacher performance in the planning, 100% for teacher performance in the implementation, 89,81% for student activity, and 87,5% the critical thinking ability of resultant. The research resultant is inferential that using of contextual approach is able to increase teacher performance in the planning, implementation, student activity, and studying resultant of the critical thinking increasable.

Abstract

The researchers choose SDN Tanjungsari I due to results of a survey of Sumedang District Education Office stating that SDN Tanjungsari I as a school with a good performance in the field of dance. This study uses qualitative research with case study design that aims to know more about the art of dance achievement in SDN Tanjungsari I. In a case study, the researcher is the main instrument. While data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, documentation and recording. Research results revealed that: (1) the achievement of dance SDN Tanjungsari I spelled out very much because every year is sure to be a champion in the activities FLS2N (National Student Competition Festival); (2) The main factors supporting the achievement of dance SDN acquisition Tanjungsari I which student talent, presence and expertise studio dance coach, parent support, and motivation; and (3) the process of learning to dance in SDN Tanjungsari I carried out systematically and conducive.

Abstract

Music is an idea of feelings that are written in tone and rhythm. The learning of musical instruments applied in elementary school is very supportive during its growth and development, because giving practical experience means opening the mind to be ready to receive broad insights and knowledge. This study aims to examine the learning of Drum Band music instrument at SDN Citengah which has contributed to the improvement of musical skill of the students. Qualitative descriptive is the right method to describe the phenomenon. Description of the learning process, learning outcomes, and factors supporting the success of learning into the formulation of the problem in this study. Data collection techniques used to describe the learning of musical instruments Drum Band is an interview technique, observation, documentation, and field notes. The results describe the learning process that has three stages, namely the repetition stage, the stage of giving the material, and the training stage. Lessons learned have improved students musical skills and improved their discipline.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills need to be applied to students, both in the home, school, and community. One way that can be done to develop and improve creative thinking skills is to apply problem-based learning. This study aimed to find out the improvement and difference in the improvement of creative thinking skill in high, medium, and low group students after being treated in the form of problem based learning. The method in this research is pre-experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The samples are students grade III SDN Sukaraja II. Instruments used in this study is test and non-test. The results of this study showed that of the Paired sample t-test of the three groups and one-way anova had P-value of 0.000, this means there is a significant increase and difference in the increase in the creative thinking skills of high, medium, and low group students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis puisi berdasarkan gambar dengan pilihan kata yang menarik di kelas III A SDN Margamukti mengalami permasalahan. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti memilih metode Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan teknik Awan Kata sebagai solusi. Di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kemmis dan Taggart. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perencanaan kinerja guru meningkat tiap siklusnya yaitu, siklus I 88,89%, siklus II 95,56%, dan siklus III 100%. Pelaksanaan kinerja guru mengalami peningkatan yaitu siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 97,49%, dan siklus III 100%. Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu, siklus I 12,5%, siklus II 45,83%, dan siklus III 87,5%. Hasil belajar, siklus I siswa yang tuntas 41,67%, siklus II 83,33%, dan siklus III 95,83%. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa metode Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan teknik Awan Kata sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis puisi berdasarkan gambar dengan pilihan kata yang menarik.Kata Kunci: Metode TAI, Teknik Awan Kata, Menulis Puisi Berdasarkan Gambar

Abstract

Kompetensi Dasar menyimpulkanisi cerita anak di kelas V SD Negeri Palasari Kabupaten Sumedang belum tercapai secara optimal. Masalah tersebut terjadi karena guru tidak memperhatikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran membaca yang tepat untuk diterapkan. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model Spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart, dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan perencanaan, kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode GIST melalui teknik IOC. Adapun hasil penelitian untuk kinerja guru baik dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya hingga mencapai target yang telah ditentukan yaitu 100%. Untuk aktivitas siswa, pada siklus I 32,2% siswa mendapat nilai baik sekali, pada siklus II menjadi 57,2%  siswa, dan pada siklus III 89,3% siswa. Untuk hasil belajar pada siklus I 39,3% siswa yang tuntas, siklus II 75% siswa dan siklus III 89,3% siswa. Dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode GIST melalui teknik IOC pada materi menyimpulkan isi cerita anak.Kata Kunci:   metode GIST, teknik IOC,  menyimpulkan isi cerita anak.
