Abstract

The  aim  of  this  study  was  to  find  out  effect  of    thawing  lenght    in  ice  water  (3oC)  to viability and motility of Bali’s cattle spermatozoa’s. This research was conducted in Februari 2014 at  Balai  Inseminasi  Buatan  Laboratory  in  Banjarbaru  Kalimantan  Selatan.  The  treatment  was thawing  lenght  at  30,60,90  and  120  minutes.  Each  treatment  needed  3  dose  straw  and   3 replication. Live percentage  (%)  and motility were perceived from the study. Data analysis used DMRT  test.  The  result  showed  thawing  lenghtwere  significantly  effect  on  viability  and  not significant on motility of Bali cattle spermatozoa.Keywords : thawing lenght, viability and motility

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitianini untuk mengetahui Kadar Kholesterol dan Perecahan Karkas Merpati Lokal yangDipotong pada Umur yang Berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lokasi Peternakan Merpati CV UstadzAmanah di Guntung Manggis Banjarbaru. Merpati yang digunakan berjumlah 20 ekor. Adapun perlakuanumur potong terdiri atas : 3,4,5, 6 minggu serta lebih dari 4 bulan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi kadarkholesterol daging, perecahan karkas merpati meliputipersentase daging, dan tulang. Hasil penelitianmenunjukan bahwa umur potong yang berbeda mempengaruhi terhadap kadar kolesterol daging dankomposisi karkas (persentase berat tulang dan persentase berat daging) merpati lokal yang dipeliharasecara intensif.Semakin bertambah umur merpati maka kadar kolesterol daging dan persentase berat dagingmerpati lokal semakin meningkat. Sebaliknya persentase berat tulang mengalami penurunan. Kata kunci : Kholesterol, Perecahan karkas, Umur potong, Merpati lokal

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mempelajari optimalisasi fermentasi bungkil inti sawit oleh kapang Trichoderma reesei.   Eksplolasi bungkil inti sawir melalui proses mikrobiologi sekarang ini merupakan salah satu upaya dalam memecahkan masalah produksi limbah pada industri kelapa sawit.  Karakteristik pertumbuhan dari Trichoderma reesei mengikuti suatu rumus regresi untuk jumlah koloni adalah  Y = 0,0652x + 2,29  dengan jumlah koloni yang optimum 2.13 x 106 CFU/cc yang mana ditemukan setelah 60 jam.  Diameter koloni tertinggi ditemukan setelah 30 jam sebesar 102,89%.  Penelitian tentang optimalisasi pengguanan produk permentasi menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola factorial 3x3. faktor pertama adalah ketebalan dari median bungkil init sawit (1, 2, dan 3 cm) dan faktor kedua dosis penggunana Trichoderma reesei (104, 105, 106 CFU/cc).  hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya  perbedaan yang  nyata antara dosis Trichoderma reesei dan ketebalan medium terhadap pH,  suhu media, dan kandungan protein kasar.  Interkasi antara ketebalan medium dan dosis tidak terjadi pada kandungan protein kasar bungkil inti sawit hasil fermentasi.Kata kunci: Bungkil inti sawit, fermentasi, Trichoderma reesei.

Abstract

The aim of This research is to know the effect of added probiotic Starbio on ration to dressed percentage and abdominal lipid percentage of broiler chicken. This research was used Completely Randomized Design. The treatments are consists  five dosage of Probiotic Starbio in ration ie: 0 g.kg-1 (control), 1,5 g. kg-1, 2,5 g. kg-1, 3,5 g. kg-1, dan 4,5 g. kg-1. Every treatment using four replications. Parameter were used in this research are  slaughtered weight, dressed percentage,  and abdominal lipid percentage.  Data were analyzed by Anova and Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) if refers difference significantly between treatments.The Result of this research showed that added of Probiotic Starbio in ration significantly different to slaughtered weight, dressed percentage and abdominal lipid percentage of broiler chicken commercial ration. Added Probiotic starbio on broiler chicken ration increase to slaughtered weight  and dressed percentage  but decrease to abdominal lipid percentage.  This research was recomended that the using probiotic starbio till 4.5g.kg-1 in broiler chicken ration was to increased slaughtered weight (2.168,90 g), dressed percentage (75,10%)  and decrease abdominal lipid percentage (2,55%)

Abstract

            Effect of Storage length  of  Alabio Meat Ducks in the refrigerator on the Quality of Microbiology , pH and organoleptic has been conducted in the Laboratory of Veterinary Research Centres (BVet) Banjarbaru . The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and  4 replications. The variables measured were the number of microbes with total plate count (TPC) , pH and organoleptic which include color , flavor and consistency. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) . As for organoleptic test using Kruskal Wallis test . In case of significantly different results , then continued by Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the Length storagealabio duck meat  in refrigerator  affect significantly to the organoleptic until 8th day refer to  a decrease in pH, color, flavor and consistency of meat Alabio, but the number of microbes was not significantly although judging the trend of his going see a decline until 4th day .

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the income and the value efficiency of  Paddy Local Paddy Karangdukuh Variety (Oryza sativa L) In Tamban Catur Sub-district the Regency of Kapuas.  The sample was taken randomly using  Purpossive  Random Sampling.  There were  35 respondents from 4 village which each village put 10 farmers and one vilage put 5  farmers. The data collection was done by interviewing  35 local paddy farmers  in Tamban Catur   Sub-district becomes the respondents directly. The data needed for the research is premier data that taken directly from the research field and the secondary data was gotten from the library study, the related agency and other sources that relate to this research. The data was processed and analyzed using income analysis and R/C Ratio. Based on the observation result of 35 respondents, the farmers of local paddy Karangdukuh variety were using semi intensive farming, with  the average  total cost  per respondent Rp7.341.981,-  kg year-1 and the total revenue that gotten is   Rp16.324.400, year-1. The obtained results local paddy farm income is Rp Rp11.243.522,- year-1. The value average R/C Ratio that gotten is 2.2 which means that the local paddy Karangdukuh variety is getting profit.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the type of swamp forage and its combination in granule complete feed products for their nutrient content and digestibility. This study have been done on Juli until September, 2018 in Field Laboratory at Bentok Kampung-Tanah Laut District. Randomized Block Design was used in this research with 3 treatments and 4 replications.  Twenty goats aged 1.5-2 years with a weight ranging from 15-19 kg were used in this study. Data were analyzed by Analysis of varian and if there is significant difference then the Duncan Multi Range Test (DMRT)  is continued. The results of the study show that  swamp forage kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris), and purun tikus (Heleocharis dulcis Burm) significantly different to the crude protein content, crude fiber, crude fat, ADF and NDF fiber fraction. The complete granule feed on the basis of a combination of forage swamps and legumes affects the digestibility of organic matter and crude protein. The low content of tannin in swamp forages has not been able to optimally protect crude protein in complete granule feed.

Abstract

The Study substitute Fish Meal with Maggot Meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) Appearance Against Quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) was carried out at 36 Jalan Palasari Waas RT. 1 RW. 4 Rural District Sukasari Pameungpeuk Bandung regency, West Java, which runs from January to February 2012. The research aims to  determine the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) the appearance of the female quail in the growth phase. The design used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications per treatment 5 replicates consisted of 10 female quails so that the whole 200 tail. As for treatment, namely R1 (16.00% + 0% fish meal flour maggot), R2 (12.00% + 6.47% fish meal flour maggot), R3 (8.00% + 12.94% fish meal flour maggot ), R4 (4.00% + 19.41% fish meal flour maggot), and R5 (0% fish meal flour maggot + 25.88%), with an average initial body weight of 48.01 grams / tail-old 3 weeks. The results showed that the substitution of fish meal with maggot meal significantly (P <0.05) in female quail consumption. While the weight gain, feed conversion and weight gain end female quail had no significant effect (P <0,05).

Abstract

Banana stem is one of the potential wastes of pertania for animal feed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of addition of (SOC)® on the degree of acidity (pH) and Physical Quality at Banana Stage Silage. The research method used in this research is an experimental method using Randomized Complete Design (RAL). Treatment of SOC at concentration 0% (Control), 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,3% and 0,4% with storage time consist of 1, 3, 5 and 7 day with replication 4 times. The number of samples used are 80 samples used for pH and physical quality (Color, Odor, Texture and Mushroom Existence). The treatment given in the sample is P0 = 0% SOC (control), P1 = SOC concentration 0.1%, P2 = SOC concentration 0.2%, P3 = SOC concentration 0.3% and P4 = SOC concentration 0.4%. The results showed that the addition of SOC and Lama of storage significantly affect the pH value and the smell of banana tree silage. The best concentration is 0.3% and 0.4% with the best storage time of 5 and 7 days.
