Abstract

Star hotel infrastruktur must support by good facility and well services,one for example to provide parking facility that sufficient  for the guess at the  hotel. This study hopely can determine the standart of parking star hotel needs involving with hotel parameters and to determine reduction coefficient of parking hotel needs involving with guest hotel that do trip with many purpose. In this study the location of four hotels that will observe are  Patra Jasa Hotel at  Jl.Sisingamangaraja, Graha Santika Hotel at Jl.Pandanaran, Santika Hotel at Jl.Ahmad Yani and Metro Hotel at Jl. Johar Baru Semarang. This research with approuch  Regresi analisis method,it is look for correlasion amount variable visitor Hotel with variable of hotel facilities. A comparison between parking needs of the guest hotel  parameters which are:1 parking space for  1.54 - 1.86 guest of ballroom,1 parking space for 1.88 - 2.08 room available, and 1 parking space for 78.86 - 79.06 squarre meter hotel floor.Variety for each hotel ,At Patra Jasa Hotel value around are 0.55 – 0.79,for Graha Santika Hotel are 0.67 – 0.86,for Santika Hotel are 0.68 – 0.81 and for Metro Hotel are 0.73 – 0.91 . Variation of the reduction coefficients happens because of guest activity to the different facilities hotel that observed and a difference in serving for hotel facilities that available for guests. Abstract

Studi ini akan menggambarkan dampak urban sprawl yaitu perkembangan tak terkendalisecara horizontal kearah pinggiran kota terhadap ketidak efisiennya mobilitas yang akanmempengaruhi pemilihan moda transportasi. Urban sprawl berdampak pada tidak effisiennyapengaturan sistem transportasi perkotaan, karena selain tidak tertatanya permukimanakibat kurang kontrolnya pemanfaatan ruang juga terjadinya pengelompokan atauperbedaan strata sosio-ekonomi yang akan berdampak semakin kompleknya permasalahanmobilitas (pergerakan) penduduk. Kondisi demikian akan berpengaruh terhadappemilihan moda transportasi yang berpihak pada pemilihan moda pribadi.Mobilitas merupakan suatu permasalahan transportasi perkotaan yang sangat pelik danperlu penanganan yang serius. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk mengidentifikasi faktorpertumbuhanyang tidak terkendali kearah pinggiran kota dan faktor-faktor yang yangmempengaruhi permasalahan transportasi yaitu pemilihan moda transportasi. Studi inimenggunakan pendekatan spasial (ruang) yaitu suatu pendekatan yang mempelajari hubunganinteraksi antara manusia dan lingkungannya. Untuk itu metode penelitian denganmetode deskriftif kualitatif-kuantitatif yaitu suatu metode dengan teknik wawan-cararumah tangga secara random proposional pada rumah tangga yang berbeda status sosialekonominya pada wilayah yang terkena proses urban. Adapun teknik analisisnya denganmenggunakan Crosstabulation untuk menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang mem-pengaruhiperkembangan kota dan pemilihan moda transportasi. Hasil dari studi ini bertujuanuntuk merekomendasikan penanganan problem transportasi perkotaan padaperkembangan kota-kota menuju kota Metropolitan.AbstractThis study will describe influence of growth of urban uncontrollably toward outside orwhich is often referred as by urban sprawl to moda choce. Growth of town into metropolitanarea need careful because besides affecting social segregasi also cause noteffisient mobility of suburban, because journey become long distance is resident activitystill concentration at downtown (core city) and also the happening of integration of eachtown also will complicate arrangement of urban transportation system. Result of from this research describe that growth of town toward townboundary of Semarang unegual and its surroundings its speed at some district exist instudy region. As for factors influencing growth of town besides aksessibilitas there issocial factor in the form of change of life style toward requirement of settlement withbalmy environment and requirement of transportation. Result of from this study is]expected useful for the day-dream of problems of urban transportation by integratingbetween operation of policy of settlement of settlement environment and policy ofoperation of transportation system at natural towns of metropolitan area.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Jalan Bedono – Jambu merupakan jalan antar kota yang menghubungkan Semarang dengan Magelang, yang dilintasi truk dengan muatan melebihi batas yang diijinkan, sehingga menimbulkan kerusakan jalan. Apabila masing-masing lajur dibandingkan secara visual, terlihat bahwa lajur jalan yang menuju Semarang mengalami kerusakan lebih parah daripada menuju Magelang. Diperkirakan komposisi lalu lintas dan beban kendaraan berat mempengaruhi terjadinya perbedaan ini. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kerusakan jalan antar lajur yaitu pada arah Magelang – Semarang dan lajur arah Semarang – Magelang akibat volume lalu lintas dan beban kendaraan. Komposisi lalu lintas dapat diketahui melalui survai lalu-lintas harian rata-rata yang didapat dengan menghitung jumlah lalu lintas tiap golongan kendaraan yang melewati titik pos pengamatan dalam durasi waktu tiap 10 menit. Sementara, kerusakan jalan ditinjau secara visual dengan titik tinjauan tiap 100 m (Km 46+000 s/d Km 49+500). Kedua data ini digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara beban kendaraan dengan kerusakan, jenis kendaraan yang berpengaruh besar terhadap kerusakan dan erhitungan kumulatif angka ekivalen beban sumbu kendaraan yang dihitung menggunakan beban standar dan beban berlebih (overload) dengan menggunakan metode Bina Marga yaitu Pd. T-05-2005-B. Pengaruh jenis kendaraan terhadap kerusakan jalan dianalisis dengan metode regresi. Dari hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa besarnya kerusakan pada arah menuju Magelang rata-rata sebesar 28,995%, sedangkan besarnya kerusakan pada arah menuju Semarang rata-rata sebesar 51,064%. Sementara, persentase volume lalu lintas untuk arah menuju Semarang yaitu 51,1% sepeda motor, 14,5% kendaraan berat dan sisanya untuk golongan kendaraan lain. Hal ini juga ditunjukkan pada arah menuju ke Magelang dengan 54,35% sepeda motor, 13,81% kendaraan berat dan sisanya dibagi dalam golongan kendaraan lain. Secara individual, pada arah menuju Magelang yaitu truk 2 sumbu dan truk 3 sumbu dalam keadaan terisi mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kerusakan jalan, dengan model regresi Y = 1,968 + 0,001X3 + 0,001X6 + 0,001X8 + 0,001X9 + 0,003X10 + 0,001X11 + 0,001X13 dan untuk arah menuju Semarang, dengan penyebab kerusakan didominasi truk 2 sumbu dalam keadaan bak terisi, dengan model regresi Y = 2,967 + 0,001X5 + 0,001X8 – 0,001X13. Besarnya nilai akumulasi ekivalen beban sumbu standar untuk arah menuju Semarang adalah sebesar 697846,789 dan untuk arah menuju Magelang adalah sebesar 451325,327. Akumulasi ekivalen beban overload untuk kedua arah pergerakan berturut-turut adalah sebesar 1520870,778 untuk pergerakan ke arah Semarang dan 810615,090 untuk pergerakan ke arah Magelang. Kata kunci : perbandingan, kerusakan jalan, overload   ABSTRACT Bedono – Jambu road is an inter-city roads connecting Semarang to Magelang, which is crossed by trucks with loads exceed the allowable limit, causing damage to the road. If each lane compared visually, it appears that lane road to Semarang suffered more damages than toward Magelang. Estimated composition of traffic and heavy vehicle loads affect the occurrence of these differences. In this study was conducted to compare the inter-lane road damage is on the way Magelang – Semarang and lane direction Semarang –Magelang due to traffic volume and vehicle load. Traffic composition can be determined through surveys of traffic daily average obtained by counting the number of each class of vehicle traffic that passes through the observation post within the time duration every 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the damage visually reviewed by point review every 100 m (Km 46 +000 to Km 49 +500). Both of these data will be used to examine the relationship between the weight of the vehicle with the damage, the types of vehicles that have a big impact damage and calculation of the cumulative number of equivalent axle load of vehicles is calculated using the standard load and overload using the method of Bina Marga is Pd. T-05-2005-B. Influence the types of vehicles against damage analyzed with regression methods. From the analysis the magnitude of damage in the direction toward Magelang is about 28.995%, meanwhile the extent of damage on the way to Semarang is about 51.064%. Meanwhile, the percentage of traffic volume to the direction towards Semarang is the 51.1% motorcycles, 14.5% of heavy vehicles and the remainder for other vehicle classes. It is also indicated in the direction toward Magelang with 54.35% motorcycle, 13.81% heavy vehicles and the remainder divided into groups of other vehicles. Individually, in the direction toward Magelang by the two axes truck and 3 axes truck in a state filled have a significant effect on the damage, with the regression model Y = 1,968 + 0,001X3 + 0,001X6 + 0,001X8 + 0,001X9 + 0,003X10 + 0,001X11 + 0,001X13 and in the direction toward Semarang, the cause of the damage is dominated two axes truck in an air filled, with the regression model Y = 2,967 + 0,001X5 + 0,001X8 – 0,001X13. The value of the accumulated equivalent standard axle load for directions to Semarang amounted to 697,846.789 and for directions to Magelang amounted to 451,325.327. Accumulated equivalent overload for both the direction of the row is equal to 1,520,870.778 to move towards Semarang and 810,615.090 for movement toward Magelang. Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan wilayah Tembalang, baik di kecamatan Banyumanik dan kecamatan Tembalang, tumbuh dengan pesat. Perkembangan yang tidak didukung dengan fasilitas sarana maupun prasarana yang ada menyebabkan kemacetan kawasan Tembalang. Untuk itu, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kinerja jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, dengan perhitungan derajat kejenuhan berdasar survey LHR. Lalu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting angkutan umum saat ini, dari segi kinerja trayek, sarana dan prasarana. Kemudian dilakukan survei kuisioner dan wawancara pada masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH secara random sampling untuk melihat perilaku pergerakan dan pendapat masyarakat. Variable yang digunakan yaitu kondisi sarana dan prasarana, tingkat kenyamanan, sistem operasional, pola pergerakan, kriteria transportasi umum yang diinginkan. Dari hasil tersebut direncanakan sistem feeder yang sesuai untuk jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, Tembalang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pada ruas persimpangan Setiabudi – persimpangan SPBU Undip memiliki derajat kejenuhan ≥ 0,75 sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan. Sistem feeder yang direncanakan adalah jalur pedestrian yang menghubungkan dengan angkutan feeder dan BRT, Rute trayek baru angkutan utama dan ranting yang melewati jalan Prof. Soedarto, SH, mengacu pada Perda no.14 tahun 2011 tentang RTRW kota Semarang. Kata Kunci : sistem feeder, kemacetan, kinerja jalan, sustainableABSTRACT Development of the Tembalang region, both on Banyumanik or Tembalang Sub-district, is grow rapidly. Therefor, evaluation is needed to determine performance of Prof. Soedato, SH, Street by calculating degree of saturation that based on traffic survey. Then, evaluation of existing condition of public transportation at present, in term of route performance, facilities and infrastructure. Then conducted a questionnaire and interview survey in people who lived around of Prof. Soedarto, SH. street by random sampling to know how about people behaviour on trip and opinion. Variable used are facilities and infrastructure condition, level of ease, operational system, trip pattern, desired criteria for public transportation. From that result, designed suitable feeder system for Prof. Soedarto, SH. Street. Evaluation result show that segment Setiabudi intersection – Undip Gas Station intersection has degree saturation value ≥ 0,75, so that its necessary treatment. Feeder system which designed is pedestrian track that would be connected with feeder transport or bus rapid transit, The main dan branch of new routes of transportation, which pass through Prof. Soedarto, SH. Abstract

In achieving Depok City development, the role of land transport has an important and strategic position, so that policies need to be integrated in a single management policy and land transportation impact on the economy of the community in Depok. Various policies have been issued, in order to minimize the land transport problems, but no matter how well the policy will not work optimally for the management of land transportation is less addressed. This study used descriptive qualitative, because trying to find empirical facts with the proper interpretation of the action phenomenon. Results: 1. Selection land transportation that correspond to the characteristics of Depok City, and attentive to the needs and interests of all sections of society were different, able to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the provision of public transport services of the city. 2. Development of an adequate road network in the City of Depok has increased the economic sectors of society, increasing the value / price of land, the development of small-scale enterprises, medium and large, the product specialization between regions, the concentration and urbanization, especially in areas that have opened access roads and transport. Resulting in increased revenue Depok City coupled with equitable distribution of goods between residents, business lines spread across several regions. In addition, an increasing number and types of goods and services are able to produce consumer, government and industry.

Abstract

Transportation is the backbone in creating social welfare in Jakarta. Therefore, if there are problems in the transportation system, it will have an impact on the smooth traffic flow and will ultimately hamper the achievement of public welfare. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method. This study refers to the theory proposed by Anderson (in Tachjan, 2006: 23) and Sarana, et al (2009: 9). The results of the study are as follows. Policy implementation transportation system in Jakarta has been able to improve the social welfare of most citizens, which means some people have to feel and enjoy the outcome of transportation development  in Jakarta. However, others have not optimally felt the positive impact of the policy. Even, it is perceived negatively; such as traffic jams which are almost evenly distributed throughout Jakarta causing high air pollution, hampered economic activity and generated high economic costs that social welfare was also weakened. This is reinforced by the increasing poverty rate in 2014 that reached 393,980 people thousand compared to previous years.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Semarang and Surakarta have different characteristic on structure and urban growth. This difference affects on urban public transport service in those cities. Aim of this research is to know the difference characteristic of urban public transport service between Semarang and Surakarta. The analysis method is comparing urban public transport service generally with transportation service and especially with public transport service, those are effectiveness and efficiency. Result of this research can be used for local government as one of the review on making of urban public transport system insight. The result of this research shows that the difference on urban structure of Semarang and Surakarta affect on urban public transport service. The urban structure of Semarang with concentric design and add with its ring radial road network cause almost all of public transport track through the down town area as the centre of all activities, mean while the urban structure of Surakarta with its grid road network tendency to spread the movement into all over the town that cause people activity spread relatively. These circumstances cause urban public transport track also spread all over the town following road network up to its hinterland. Some proposed to ascend urban public transport system service in Semarang needs an evaluation of urban public transport service more efficient with reduce or change public transport moda with that whose have bigger capacity so that can reduce traffic problem in down town area, mean while Surakarta needs to cooperate with its hinterland because almost all of urban public transport that are operating in Surakarta having the beginning and ending terminals outside of its jurisdiction. Abstract

Parking is one of the important elements of urban transportation, such, it has various long and short-term impacts on individuals, societies, and transportation systems. It affects to the transportation mode selection. People tend to drive private car when the representative parking area is available. This research is focused at the determination of the parameters that affect the use of parking area. The parameters are expected to be useful in estimating the parking area demand of the hospital class B in Semarang. There are six major parameters describing the parking slot, i.e.: accumulation, parking volume, total spaces available (capacity), parking turnover, peak time, duration of occupancy and occupancy. Three hospitals are selected as object of the study; there are RS Telogorejo, RS Elisabeth and RS dr Kariadi. The survey is carried out by direct investigation and questionnaire. Statistical analysis by using linear regression, logarithmic, quadratic, and exponential, indicated that the amount of bed used has a very high correlation with the parking demand. The next highest correlation is observed between medical specialist and parking demand. The average duration in RS Telogorejo is 15 – 30 minutes, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is 15 – 30 minutes for car. For motorcycle, the average duration in RS Telogorejo is 30 minutes – 1 hour, RS Elisabeth is 30 minutes – 2 hours, and RS dr Kariadi is above 4 hours. From the study, it was found that the ratio between parking demand for vehicle and the number of bed being used is 0.89, meanwhile the ratio between parking demand for motorcycle and the number of bed being used is 1.29. Other alternative of parking facility like special parking building area is recommended to be considered for the hospital with limited area. Keywords: parking, hospital

Abstract

Batik Solo Trans (BST) included in the category of Bus Rapid Transit, this modes of transportation provided by the government to transportation of Surakarta, but the society not interest with this mode. This study was conducted to determine the publics preference for mass transit and investigate the performance in terms of Batik Solo Trans department of transportation standards and world bank standards. The research method used survey and give questionnaire toward users and non users BST. The evaluation results of BST corridor I performance got some indicators which have department of transportation standards and world bank standards there are headway, speed, distance time on Saturday and Sunday, and 67% the shelter distance, beside for load factor still under standard 70%, load factor could not full filled, based on questionnaire result, society not interest use BST because some reason, for example wasting time, incomplete route and facility of BST, long distance time, which evidenced based on survey result more than 3 hours on Monday. Although load factor is less based on BOK analysis with tariff  of BST got profit can used for maintenance and addition of the bus. The analysis results, system can be improve appropriate with the expectation of the society, there are addition corridors than intersect corridor other, lane BST, beheading route corridor I have small load factor, the transportation other can be the feeder, apply contra flow system on Slamet Riyadi road and bus priority tracking at intersections for shorten distance time.

Abstract

Setiabudi street, Semarang, is access road to the southern area of Semarang, that is often used in addition to highway. This road connects the Semarang to Tembalang and Banyumanik, also connect to the southern area of Central Java. Some segments have gradient road more than 8% and critical gradient oad is different with RSNI Geometrik Jalan Perkotaan 2004. Setiabudi street that have gradient road > 8% cause acceleration of the vehicle decrease. It also causes traffic accident. Based on the issues conducted research to review the relationships of gradient road and critical gradient length to road safety. The survey method use spot speed and traffic counting. Secondary data is geometric of the Setiabudi street, traffic accident and annual daily traffic. Analytical methods to determine the relationship between gradient road and critical gradient road use regression method and descriptive analysis. The relationship of gradient road and critical gradient length to road safety is indicated by polynomial regression model Y = 174 222 - 3.827E-013X - 13166.052X2 + 3.995E-011X3 (R square= 0.998). The correlation value indicate the relationship gradient road and road safety is close. Some segments with gradient road and critical gradient length is high not necessarily cause a high number of accidents. The simulation results can be concluded the reduction of the degree of saturation cause risk of accident is reduced.
