ASPECT OF LANGUAGE ON A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS OF STUDENT’S EVALUATION INSTRUMENT

Abstract

This article examined the characteristics of good student’s evaluation instrument. There are at least two requirements that must be met. Those are valid and reliable. The validity of the instrument can be seen from the instruments ability to measure what should be measured. The fact the existence of the validity of an instrument may be a grain fill, the response process, internal structure, relationship with other variables, and the consequences of the implementation of the charging instrument. Analysis of the content is then known as content validity, i.e. rational analysis of the domain to be measured to determine the representation of each item on the instrument with the ability to be measured. Content validity is submitting pieces of blue print and items of the instrument to the experts to be analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.

Abstract

Sehubungan dengan evaluasi pembelajaran, sampai sekarang masih banyak instrumen hasil belajar, baik digunakan oleh guru untuk ulangan harian atau oleh sekolah-sekolah untuk ulangan umum yang belum memenuhi persyaratan ideal yaitu, non bias dan standar dapat diukur. instrumen hasil pembelajaran yang berisi item bias akan merugikan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan yang sama dengan siswa yang menjawab dengan benar hanya karena kelompok yang berbeda. Dengan kata lain, instrumen yang berisi item bias, tidak memberikan kesempatan yang sama untuk menjawab dengan benar pada orang mengambil tes dengan kemampuan yang sama, hanya karena mereka berasal dari kelompok yang berbeda. Dalam hal ini, itu bisa berarti perbedaan dalam budaya, jenis kelamin, agama, dan banyak lagi. menurut Saifuddin Azwar, empat faktor yang diduga sebagai penyebab kesenjangan kinerja antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam kaitannya dengan tanggapan untuk menguji pertanyaan, yaitu 1). pertanyaan tes bias, 2). format pilihan ganda, 3). kesempatan untuk menebak, dan 4) kendala waktu. Regarding to the evaluation of learning, until now there are still a lot of learning outcomes instruments, whether used by teachers for daily test or by schools for general test , have not met the requirements of an ideal yet i.e.,non biased and scalable standard. Learning outcomes instrumentcontaining bias items would be detrimental to the students who has the same abilities with studentswho answered correctly simply becauseof different groups. In other words, the instrumentscontaining bias items, do not give the same opportunity to answer correctly on the person taking the test with the same abilities, just because they come from different groups. In this case, it could mean the difference in cultures, gender, religion, and more. According to Saifuddin Azwar, four factors suspected as the causes of the performance gapbetween men and women in relation to responses to test questions, namely 1). Bias test questions , 2). multiple-choice format, 3). opportunity toguess, and 4) time constraints.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  evaluasi hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Melalui  library research, evaluasi diketahui dengan  menggunakan pengukuran informasi dan informasi hasil penilaian. Hasilnya diukur dengan memberikan skor (angka). Kemudian, skor tersebut dinilai dan ditafsirkan oleh aturan tertentu untuk menentukan tingkat kemampuan pribadi. Selain itu, hasil dari proses penilaian ini selanjutnya dievaluasi untuk menentukan tingkat pencapaian pribadi atau terprogram. Secara umum, ada dua teknik penilaian pendidikan,  yaitu tes dan  non-tes.  Berdasarkan hasil  penelitian   kualitatif  dengan memanfaatkan sumber berupa data atau dokumen, penelitian ini menggambarkan  bagaimana persiapan instrumen berdasarkan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor  evaluasi domain. Suatu set tes dan non-tes yang baik sebagai pengukur prestasi harus memiliki kriteria;  validitas, kepraktisan, kehandalan,  dan   ekonomi. Selanjutnya, analisis tes yang sesuai pada evaluasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terdiri dari tingkat kesukaran soal atau indeks kesulitan, daya pembeda, analisis pengecoh, analisis homogenitas item soal, dan efektivitas fungsi opsi.Kata kunci: Pendidikan  Agama Islam (PAI), belajar,evaluasiEVALUATION OF LEARNING RESULT ON ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:  IDEALS AND  REALITY:  This study was conducted to know the studying result evaluation of Islamic Religious  Education.  The  evaluation  used  by using  information measurement  and asessment  result  information.   Through  library research, the result was measured by giving scores (number) then the score was assessed and interpreted by the rules to determine personal ability  level.  Moreover, the result of the  assessment  process is next evaluated to determine the personal or programmed achievement level. Generally, there are two educational  assessment techniques, namely test and non-test. This qualitative study used some data or document. Afterward, this study described how the preparation of the instrument, based on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation domains. A set  of good  tests  and non-tes  as achievement  measurer  should have these criteria; validity,  practicability, reliability, and economy. Furthermore, the analysis of test items which is appropriate for Islamic Religious Education  learning evaluation  consists of difficulty index, discriminating power, spieler analysis, item homogeneous analysis, and optional functioning effectiveness.Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, learning outcome evaluation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan observasi sistematik pada pembelajaran  Akidah Akhlaq kelas  VII MTs Kedungombo Buaran Mayong Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif  deskriptif.  Data  yang telah  terkumpul melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan sumber data, baik primer maupun sekunder dianalisis dengan tahapan model Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa observasi sistematik yang diterapkan di MTs Kedungombo Buaran Mayong Jepara, yakni dengan cara guru mengamati perilaku peserta didik yang telah dipersiapkan kriterianya baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas mulai dari kedisiplinan, tanggungjawab, tenggang rasa, perhatian dan kerajinan sehingga mendapat hasil pembelajaran yang baik. Dengan dilaksanakannya observasi sistematik, guru menjadi lebih aktif dan mengenal karakter serta sikap peserta didik. Di samping itu, peserta didik akan merasa lebih diperhatikan oleh gurunya.kata kunci: observasi sistematik, aqidah akhlaq, perilaku peserta didikTHE APPLICATION OF SYSTEMATIC OBSERVATION ON LEARNING AQIDAH AKHLAQ. This research aims to know the application of systematic observation on Aqidah  Akhlaq  Lesson in Class VII of MTs Kedungombo Buaran Mayong , Jepara. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach. The data that has been collected through field observation and interview with both of the primary and secondary sources were analyzed  with the model of Miles Huberman. The  results  showed  that systematic observation  applied  in MTs Kedungombo  Buaran Mayong Jepara, it was with the way the teacher observes the behavior of learners who have prepared the criteria both in class and outside class ranging from discipline, responsibility, tolerance, thoughtfulness and diligence so that it gets a good learning results. By applying the systematic observations, teacher became more active and get to know the characters and attitudes of learners. Besides, learners will feel more noticed by her teacher.Keywords:  systematic observation, aqidah akhlaq, the behaviour of learners

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran  kooperatif model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dengan pembelajaran langsung (direct learning) pada materi kesebangunan bangun datar ditinjau dari prestasi dan  minat  belajar, (2) membandingkan keefektifan antara pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD dan direct learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari empat kelas, sedangkan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak dengan siswa sebanyak 64 siswa. Instrumen penelitian adalah instrumen tes prestasi dan angket minat belajar. Analisis data (statistik inferensial) meliputi: (1) uji t one sample, (2) analisis multivariat dengan Hotelling’s Trace, dan (3) uji lanjut dengan Equal Variances assumed dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran model STAD dan direct learning efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan minat belajar matematika siswa dan  (2) pembelajaran model STAD lebih efektif daripada direct learning ditinjau dari minat  belajar matematika siswa, tetapi tidak lebih efektif bila ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika siswa.Kata kunci: Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), pembelajaran langsung (direct learning), prestasi, dan minat belajar matematika siswa. The Effectiveness of the STAD and Direct Learning Models in Terms of Learning Achievement and Interest in Mathematics for Topic of Plane Figure Similarity AbstractThe aims of this research were to describe the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model and direct learning in mathematics learning for topic of plane figure similarity in terms of learning achievement and interest in mathematics and compare both of them. This was a quasi-experimental study. The research population comprised four classes. The research sample consisted of two classes, which were randomly selected. The research instruments were an achievement test and a learning interest questionnaire. The data analysis included: (1) one sample t-test, (2) multivariate analysis using Hotelling’s Trace, and (3) a post hoc test using Equal Variances Assumed with significance level of 5%. The results of the study showed that: (1) the STAD and direct learning models were effective in terms of the students’ mathematics learning achievement and interest and (2) the STAD learning model is more effective than direct learning model in terms of the students’ mathematics learning interest, but it wasn’t as effective based on the students’ mathematics learning achievement. Abstract

Policy mismatch is the relevant term to describe the inconsistence between problems met by the people and financial policy being chosen. Improper quality of public services especially in health and education did not correlate significantly with the provincial financial policy. The problem of accessibility and service quality in both fields is not progressively getting better. Although the amount of annual government’s expenditure in both field always increase, the percentage is getting reduced yearly. As the result, the financial allocation function did not effectively work to overcome those problems. And finally, as public goods, the availability and accessibility of health and education services can not prevalently being consumed by the people.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz al-Qur’an di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Ulama Raudlatus Shibyan Peganjaran Bae Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) (Mahmud, 2011: 31),dengan lokasi di rumah pembina kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tahfidz al-Qur’an dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan kepala madrasah, pembina kegiatan tahfidz al-Qur’an dan peserta didik putra dan putri. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan model Miles Huberman (Sugiyono, 2012: 337) dengan tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data meliputi kegiatan pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an, muraja’ah, setoran dan evaluasi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: pelaksanaan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler tahfidz al-Qur’an di rumah pembina, dengan empat tahapan yang saling berkesinambungan, yaitu 1) kegiatan pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an di mana peserta didik belajar kaidah ilmu tajwid, ghorib, dan makhorijul khuruf; 2) kegiatan muraja’ah yakni mengulang-ulang hafalan, ada dua cara dalam melakukan muraja’ah yakni sendiri dan dapat pula dilakukan berpasangan sesama peserta didik putra atau putri atau disebut sema’an; 3) kegiatan setoran hafalan yakni peserta didik menyetorkan hafalan kepada pembina sebanyak satu muka halaman al-Qur’an; 4) kegiatan evaluasi kenaikan juz di mana peserta didik yang sudah mencapai hafalan satu juz akan mengikuti evaluasi tersebut, hal yang menjadi bahan evaluasi yakni makhorijul khuruf, tajwid, tilawah/ bacaan terhadap ayat-ayat al-Qur’an, serta kefasihan dan kelancaran dalam membaca. Abstract

The use of electric power must be wise and efficient. For that we need a way to control the use of electrical power to be automatic and easy. The author tries to make design of light controller in scheduling information system using Arduino Uno R3 web based. Design of light controller tool on web-based scheduling information system is using prototype method. Where the cycle of design and development is quite simple that is through 3 stages starting from Listen to Customer,Design and Building and for the next Test Drive and Evaluations.The result of design of light controller in scheduling information system using Arduino Uno R3 web based after tested by 15 testers product obtained product value 92.66 which means above the minimum value of the product set is 75. And usability test using questionnaire method to assess Aspects of Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors and Satisfactions (LEMES) where the lowest average value of all aspects is 4.58 which means above the minimum limit ie the middle value is based on the Likert scale 1 - 5.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe: (1) The initial test of competence and pedagogical competence of MI teacher at Kudus district in 2014, and (2) the effect of the initial competency test against MI classroom teachers pedagogical competence in Kudus district in 2014. This research includes the study of ex post facto of correlational research. The samples using random sampling, with a standard error of 5% of the total population 130  MI classroom teachers at Kudusdistrict, obtained a sample of 98 people. The technique of collecting data through documentation and interviews with the LPTK Rayon 206 UIN Walisongo Semarang. While the analysis is done by using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression-correlation.  The results showed that: (1) The initial test of competence and pedagogical competence of MI  teacher at Kudus District 2014in the category good enough maing at 55.78 and 81.09 respectively, and (2) the initial competency test does not significantly influence the competence pedagogic of MI classroom teachers, with the model: Y = 78.047 + 0.056 X. While the initial competency test relations with pedagogical competence is positive and not significant with a correlation coefficient of 0.167 categorized as very low, so the initial competency test only contributes 2.8% of the  MI teacher pedagogical competence  in Kudus district.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) uji kompetensi awal dan kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas Mi di kabupaten kudus tahun 2014, serta (2) pengaruh uji kompetensi awal terhadap kompetensipedagogik guru kelas Mi di kabupaten kudus tahun 2014.  Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian ex post facto bentuk correlational research. Penentuan sampel menggunakan random sampling, dengan taraf kesalahan 5% dari jumlah populasi 130 guru kelas Mi dari kabupaten kudus, didapatkan sampel sebanyak 98 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan pihak lPTk Rayon 206 UIN Walisongo Semarang. Sedangkan analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi-korelasi linier sederhana. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) uji kompetensi awal dan kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas Mi di kabupaten kudustahun 2014 dalam kategori cukup baik maing-masing sebesar  55,78 dan 81,09, serta (2) uji kompetensi awal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas Mi, dengan model:Ŷ = 78,047 + 0,056 X. Sedangkan hubungan uji kompetensi awal dengan kompetensi pedagogik adalah positif dan tidak signifikan dengan koefisienkorelasi sebesar  0,167 berkategori sangat rendah, sehingga uji kompetensi awal hanya memberikan kontribusi sebesar 2,8% terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru kelas madrasah ibtidaiyah di kabupaten kudus.

Abstract

Performance of a building construction will decrease with increase life service of the structure. To maintain the performance building in order to remain functioning properly it is necessary to repair the damaged building components. The purpose of this study is to get an assessment the physical condition of the building and analyze damage level of school structure in Blitar City, and get the order to maintenance of elementary school structures in Blitar City. Weight of structure criteria assessed by the building expert and analyzed with Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, then the result of the weight is multiplied by the physical condition index obtained from the observation. Assessment of physical condition index of elementary school structure in Blitar city is 69.34%, it can be interpreted that the structure is in deterioration or damage but does not affect the overall structure of the building.
