Abstract

Now days snooker score board still using conventional score board that is made of wood. Each time a ball got in to the pocket the players has to change score manually. With Automatic score board snooker player do not have to change the score manually. This Automatic score board can detect color of the ball witch got in to the pocket then change the score according to the color that represent some value.

Abstract

Sometimes to fill a tire with a air pump were made us tired. Not even to fill it up but we must check it up the tire pressure. The process of air pressure filling and control device for car tire automatically using microcontroller is the way of solution to every people to check up the tire easily. The systems can be measure maximum pressure until 50 psi then the system can be check for every change of voltage level to prove there is any leakage of tire. This system can help us more better to know our tire condition easily.

Abstract

Sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder that interferes with the breathing of a person. During sleep, people can stop breathing for a moment that causes the body lack of oxygen that lasts for several seconds to minutes even until the range of hours. If it happens for a long period, it can result in more serious diseases, e.g. high blood pressure, heart failure, stroke, diabetes, etc. Sleep apnea can be prevented by identifying the indication of sleep apnea itself from ECG, EEG, or other signals to perform early prevention. The purpose of this study is to build a classification model to identify sleep disorders from the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) features that can be obtained with Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. In this study, HRV features were processed using several classification methods, i.e. ANN, KNN, N-Bayes and SVM linear Methods. The classification is performed using subject-specific scheme and subject-independent scheme. The simulation results show that the SVM method achieves higher accuracy other than three other methods in identifying sleep apnea. While, time domain features shows the most dominant performance among the HRV features.

Abstract

This paper proposes a new notion distance on the CBIR process whichis derived from the measure of multivariate dispersion called vector variance (VV).The minimum vector variance (MVV) estimator is robust estimator having the highbreakdown point. The CBIR is a retrieval technique using the visual informationby retrieving collections of digital images. The process of retrieval is carried outby measuring the similarity between query image and the image in the databasethrough similarity measure. Distance is a metric often used as similarity measureon CBIR. The query image is relevant to an image in the database if the value ofsimilarity measure is small. This means that a good CBIR retrieval system mustbe supported by an accurate similarity measure. The classical distance is generatedfrom the arithmetic mean which is vulnerable to the masking e®ect. The appearanceof extreme data causes the in°ation of deviation of the arithmetic mean, this impliesthe distance between the extreme data or the outlier becomes closer than it supposedto be.
