Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap karakteristik karya sastra anak terjemahan yang beredar dan populer di kalangan anak-anak Indonesia, serta kandungan nilai-nilai moralitas dan budaya asing dalam sastra anak terjemahan menurut sudut pandang anak sebagai penikmat sastra anak terjemahan. Nilai-nilai moralitas dan budaya dalam karya sastra anak terjemahan tersebut diyakini akan memperkaya wacana dan pengetahuan anak sebagai penikmat sastra anak terjemahan, sehingga dapat bermanfaat dalam pengembangan karakter anak ke arah yang lebih positif. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan mempergunakan pendekatan resepsi sastra, yang bertumpu pada pada teori efek dari Wolfgang Iser. Adapun, metode pengumpulan data mempergunakan salah satu metode resepsi sastra, yaitu metode eksperimental. Metode eksperimental dalam pendekatan resepsi sastra dilakukan dengan teknik pengajuan daftar pertanyaan atau kuesioner yang telah dipersiapkan. Kuesioner ini diberikan kepada subjek penelitian pada kelompok umur 6-12 tahun yang sudah lancar membaca dan bisa memberikan pendapat dan tanggapan secara tertulis. Teks sastra anak terjemahan terpilih adalah Boneka Pemecah Kacang (The Nutcracker) karya E.T.A.Hoffmann; Hansel dan Gretel karya Grimm Bersaudara; dan Prajurit Timah karya Hans Christian Andersen. This study aims to describe the characteristics of popular translation of children’s literature among Indonesian children, the moral values of foreign cultures in the translation of children’s literature seen by children as reader. Moral values  and culture in children’s literature translation will enrich the discourse and knowledge of the children, so it can be useful in the development of children’s character into a more positive direction. This research is a qualitative study using literary reception approach, which is based on the theory of the effects of Wolfgang Iser. The method of collecting data used one of the methods of literary reception: the experimental method.  It used a list of questions or questionnaires prepared. The questionnaire was given to children of 6-12 years old who are able to read and can give opinions and respond in writing. Literature  chosen were Boneka Pemecah Kacang (The Nutcracker) by ETAHoffmann;  Hansel and Gretel by Grimm, and Tin Soldier by Hans Christian Andersen. Characteristics of children’s literature has good characters and an interesting story. The values of morality and culture are contained in the story:  appreciate toys, respect for elders, love each other.

Abstract

The development of character values and cultural values is a long process start- ing from the initial incoming students to completion of an educational unit. In fact, the pro- cess starts from the kindergarten continues to elementary school and lasted at least until the 9th grade or last grade of junior high school. The development process of character and cultural values carried by each subject, and in each curricular and extracurricular activities, through all subjects, personal development, and education unit. This study seeks to describe the profile of Indonesian subjects teaching materials in the current elementary school according to teachers and students opinions and the needs of students and teach- ers towards Indonesian subjects thematic teaching materials which contains character and cultural values. Research and development is applied to the field of education . The subjects of research were elementary school students and elementary schools teachers in Ungaran and Semarang. 27 people (29 %) of teachers declared that there are Indonesian textbooks were still least helpful in teaching. 8 people (9 %) of teachers stated that the Indonesian textbooks were incomplete. 85 people (91 %) of teachers want the Indonesian textbook to be more complete, making it easier for teachers to teach.

Abstract

 The main problems of this study as follows: how the character and the psychological problem were dealt by the main leading figure in this novel and how the leading figure managed and solved the problems. Moreover, how the life of the writer especially when the writer wrote this novel and whether the psychological problems that was dealt by the lead figure of this novel is the represent of the writer’s or other people. The objectives of this research are (a) to reveal the character and psychological problem of the leading figure using the approach of Abraham Maslow’s Humanistic Psychology, (b) analyzed the life of the writer especially when the writer wrote this novel, and (c) to make the readers aware that the personal maturity of someone did not come only from the psychological development of the relevant person, but really regarding to the outside condition of himself.To answer the above problem, the data was gathering from the material object of the research that is the novel by Najīb Machfūzh entitled Khān Al-Khalīlī. The lead figure in this novel is as the main subject. This research used two methods that is analyzing the life of the writer to understand his work and analyzing the character of the available leading figure in the literary work. Furthermore, to analyze the data, using the Abraham Maslow’s humanistic psychology theory, that is needs hierarchy theory and self-actualization theory that include inside is the definition and characteristic of mental illnesses, in this case neurosis.The result of the research shows that the character of Ahmad ‘Ākif Afandī has series of psychological problems that guided him to become neurotic personality. This personality formed him into the character of inability to seize the reality efficiently, being paralyzed by the embarrassed feeling, could not have a spontaneous attitude, failed to develop his interest and talent, emerged anger on the love that was lost, lost the safe feeling, focused on himself only, and could not function autonomously. Moreover, the traumatic problem which continuously appear, the often failure in gaining the goal and the love, as well as the failure in the fulfillment of basic need and metaneeds has also became the initiator of the growth of neurotic personality in Ahmad ‘Ākif.

Abstract

This study is to explore the gender construction to the Dayaknese women reproduction health myth in Palangkaraya. This study used descriptive qualitative type. To take sample of this study was done by random sampling.The population target of this study were choosen by using special selection that of the subject of this study were the inhabitant who lives in Palangka Raya without using gender discriminated.  The mythes which are related to dayaknese women reproduction health showed that there were some related to gender construction which was full gender imbalances. If they are related to the myth, so the distinction system between woman and man are constructed to some mythes.The above mythes declared that the real gender constructions were from the way of men to think, so it showed that the wowen had restrictiveness to make action in their daily life.  The above mythes declared that the pregnant woman should not sew the cloth, go fishing, sit with the legs crossed, should use rings in her anklet, should abstain to eat some food. It showed that the systems of men thoughts were to delimitate of women actions.

Abstract

This study is to explore the people’ perceptions about the Dayaknese women reproduction health myth and gender relation that is related to women Dayaknese health in Palangkaraya. This study used descriptive qualitative type. To take sample of this study was done by random sampling. The main positive of this study showed the most respondents have got the different perception to this myth of this time. The responses of respondents considered that the mythes were not significant anymore at the present time. The perceptions of respondents came out like this because there are some changes to the way of thinking and their educational level are more and more getting better. Besides that, the old generations had not informed anymore about mythes to their children, with the result that there are some young generation did not know about mythes.

Abstract

Islam placed the position of the women in the high-ranking position and they are appreciated very well. There are many articles in the Qur’an that give and protect the women’s rights. Interpretation on the Qur’anic articles and hadis is absolutely needed together with increasing problems in developing society.  One of the problems that emerges is the problem of the rights of the women’s reproduction. There is a gap between precepts in the Qur’an that guard and protect and promote the dignity of the woman in social lives and some practices in society especially among some Muslim scholars, intellectuals and common people, in which women’s rights such as the right to choose a partner, the right to the sexual activity, the right to determine pregnancy including the determination of the distance of pregnancy, denying pregnancy, the use of contraception and abortion, the right to the children rearing, are still dominated by men that play a big role as a decision maker. This research explains the picture of the real situation. This research studies misunderstanding the Semarang city community towards the Qur’anic conception on women’s rights. Qur’anic precepts actually have gender sensitivity about women’s health and women’s reproduction rights. This study found that 43.16% of the community misunderstands in interpreting Qur’anic precepts on women’s health, and 37.87% ignoring women’s right to choose their partner, while 48.14% has a gender-biased perception on the right on women to a sexual activity. Moreover, The Semarang community also has misperception on women’s right to determine pregnancy, which reaches 43.37%, the same percentage as misperception on women’s rights to children upbringing.

Abstract

Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) is one of the new subject in competence and conservation based curriculum in Arabian Education Department of FBS UNNES. Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) is given in 6th semester as a continuity of subject Pengantar Ilmu Sastra (1st Adab or Sejarah Sastra Arab (4th semester) and subject Tarikh semester). Nusus Adabiyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) needs to be improved through the development of lesson plan and suitable materials. The implementation of Cross Cultural Understanding (CCU) in the materials will help students in learning the literature text analysis as well as improving their awareness in culture and analysis ability. This article analyse the students’ need of Nusus Adabiyyah material, the students’ response toward Nusus Adabiyyah material and the utilization of CCU in Nusus Adabiyyah material. Research and Development Approach is used in this study while the subject of  this study is students of Arabian Eduaction which have studied Pengantar Ilmu Sastra and Tarikh Adab or Sejarah Sastra Arab in the previous semesters. Method of collecting the data in this study includes test and and non-test methods: questionaire, interview, and documentation. 27 students (54%) need materials which focus on the Arabian literature work and its analysis technique. The other materials beside those two are not yet needed because students still have difficulties in analysing the Arabian literature work. The learning of Nusus Adabiyah by inserting CCU makes the students become more motivated to learn, to think positively, and they are also encouraged to learn Arabian culture.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Nusus Adabiyyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang baru muncul dalam kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dan konservasi prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab FBS UNNES. Pembelajaran Nusus Adabiyyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) diberikan bagi mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab UNNES semester 6, yang merupakan kelanjutan dari mata kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Sastra (ditempuh pada semester 1) dan Tarikh Adab (Sejarah Sastra Arab, yang ditempuh pada semester 4). Pembelajaran Nusus Adabiyyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) memerlukan penyempurnaan melalui pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang sesuai. Penerapan Cross Cultural Understanding (selanjutnya disingkat CCU) atau pemahaman lintas budaya dalam bahan ajar Nusus Adabiyyah (Analisis Teks Sastra) akan mengantarkan mahasiswa mempelajari analisis teks sastra sekaligus meningkatkan kepekaan budaya dan daya analisis mahasiswa. Artikel ini akan membahas mengenai kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar Nusus Adabiyyah melalui CCU, respon mahasiswa terhadap bahan ajar Nusus Adabiyyah melalui CCU, dan pemanfaatan CCU dalam bahan ajar Nusus Adabiyyah. Jenis dan pendekatan penelitian yang dimanfaatkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and develpment) yang diterapkan pada bidang pendidikan. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab UNNES yang mengambil mata kuliah Nusus Adabiyyah, yang telah menempuh mata kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Sastra (ditempuh pada semester 1) dan Tarikh Adab (Sejarah Sastra Arab, yang ditempuh pada semester 4). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mencakup metode tes dan non-tes meliputi teknik angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. 27 orang mahasiswa (54%) membutuhkan materi yang fokus pada karya sastra Arab dan teknik analisis karya sastra Arab. Materi di luar pembahasan mengenai karya sastra Arab dan teknik analisis sastra belum dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa, mengingat praktek menganalisis karya sastra Arab menggunakan teori sastra modern masih dirasakan sulit oleh mahasiswa. Pembelajaran Nusus Adabiyyah dengan memasukkan materi mengenai pemahaman lintas budaya, memang hal baru bagi mahasiswa. Konsep pemahaman lintas budaya membuat mahasiswa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar, lebih terpacu untuk berpikir positif, dan terdorong untuk memahami budaya dari bahasa sasaran
