Abstract

Abstract Family planning is efforts to take apart or to plan the number of child and pregnancy using contraception. The family planning aims to increase the prosperity of mother and child in addition to realize a norm of happy and prosperous small family as a base for realization of prosperous society by control the birth and growth of the population. This Reseach is a study using qualitative method in order to get a depth information about the behavior of husband to the male contraception (vasectomy) at Desa Ujung Pulo Cut subdistrict of Bakongan Timur  Regency of South Aceh in 2013. The primary data is collected through indepth interview to the informan while the secondary data is collected by document study about village and sub district. Informan in this reseach are 7 persons. i.e. the population of Desa Ujung Pulo Cut with the background of education, age, number of child and different work. All of informan are Moeslim and etnic of Aceh. The results of study indicates that the informan did not know what is the Male Operation Method (MOP). 5 of 7 informans said that did not know this method. This is caused by the lack of knowledge and understanding of informan for the lack of socialization of MOP program. The guidance and training and socialization of Family Planning program specially Male Operation Method (MOP) must be implemented continuously by PPLKB, Community Health Centre to enable husband understand this method.

Abstract

The study of soliton trapped in 2X2 directional fiber coupler is reported. By introducing an optical signal with high intensity into two cores of directional fiber coupler will create the soliton pulse in that coupling region. Soliton can carry the data in an extended distance without distortion with high-speed, so that it is promising an ideal communication system in a long distance. In its propagation, the loss was still appears. It is caused by the trapping of soliton pulses at the coupling region so that the collision take placed.The collision of two coupled solitons was determined from the Non-linear Schroodinger Equation (NLSE) based on the Coupling Mode Theory (CMT). The distance of collision can be reduced by decreasing the separation of the two soliton pulses. Another way can be done by choosing a value of medium misalignment saturation H. for the value of H=0.1, it can be seen clearly that length of pulse propagating more broaden. The relationship between the amplitude and width of a soliton is also investigated. It is found that increasing the width, the amplitude also increases. Abstract

Microring resonators have emerged in the past few years in integrated optics and have been used extensively in many fields due to its advantages. The response from coupled ring resonators can be custom designed by the use of different coupling configurations [1]. In certain cases, ring resonators can be used as wavelength filter when the wavelength fits a whole multiple times in the circumference of the ring [5,6]. In this paper, we compare and contrast the effect of light propagation/ power distribution characteristics associated with ring configurations. We have limited our study to side-coupled integrated space sequence of resonators or as known as SCISSORs using OptiFDTD Photonics Simulation Software V8.0.Keywords:Microring resonator; Side-coupled integrated space sequence of resonators; power distribution.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  strategi pengembangan  usaha kacang goyang pada industri rumah tangga “Prima Jaya”. Jumlah responden sebanyak  6 orang yang dipilih pihak internal yaitu 1 orang pimpinan dan 2 orang tenaga kerja dari industri rumah tangga “Prima Jaya”, serta dari pihak eksternal yaitu 1 orang pegawai dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan serta 2 orang  konsumen  pada  industri  rumah tangga “Prima Jaya”. Data  dianalisis  secara  deskriptif dengan menggunakan alat analisis SWOT yang merupakan  analisis kualitatif yang dilaksanakan dengan mengkaji faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal. Analisis kuantitatif  untuk  perumusan strategi terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu tahap pemasukan digunakan  matriks IFE (Internal Factors Evaluation)  dan  matriks  EFE  (External Factors  Evaluatian), dan tahap  pemaduan  digunakan   matriks  SWOT   (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). Total nilai yang diperoleh dari Tabel IFE yaitu yaitu sebesar 3,15 dengan skor kekuatan 2,41 atau 76.53%  dan skor kelemahan sebesar 0.74 atau 23,47% dan total nilai yang diperoleh dari Tabel EFE yaitu sebesar 3,13 dengan skor peluang 2,70 atau 86,24% dan skor ancaman sebesar 0,43 atau 13,76%. Analisis SWOT menggambarkan bahwa industri rumah tangga kacang goyang “Prima Jaya” berada pada posisi kuadran I (satu).Hal ini menggambarkan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan bagi industri rumah tangga kacang goyang “Prima Jaya” untuk lebih mengembangkan usahanya.

Abstract

This paper reported a design of optical sensor to detect hog’s gelatin by using coupler and opticalinterferometer. This device have been fabricated by attaching a ring resonator on one of arm of MachzehnderInterferometer (MZI), therefore other arm was utilized as the reference waveguide signal. Theexperimental set up was conducted by launching 1 mW Diode Laser in to input terminal, and the outputsignals at two terminals was detected by optical power meter. Wave propagating equations have beendetermined based on coupling mode theory using a transfer matrix method. These equations were thenused to determine the fabrication parameter such as coupling coefficient, coupling ratio, and sensorsensitivity. By applying various sample (hog-oil, ice cream magnum, cadburry chocolate and a set gravy)on the ring resonator waveguide as sensing area yielded various optical characteristic for each samples.Experimental results has shown that there was a similarity between hog-oil and cadburry chocolateoptical birefringence with the hog’s gelatin characteristic. This results informed the important informationfor muslim consumer that cadburry chocolate is categorized as a haram food as explained in quran (QS.Al Maidah: 3)Keywords : Optical sensor, Mach-zehnder Interferometer, ring resonator and haram foods.

Abstract

This study of Strategic Plan aim to a comparison of the theory of strategic planning and inpelementation conducted by IAIN Raden Intan Lampung. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation associated with the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung.The approach that used in this study is qualitative descriptive, while the analysis data using SWOT. The results of the analysis showed the weakness of oversight in implementation strategic planning program that be established, in addition to the frequent changes with the changing leadership to be any program of strategic planning are overlap, because didn’t continue the existing programs but only repeat or create new programs. So we can conclude the strategic plan of IAIN Raden Intan Lampung has not been effective and efficient and have not been standardized based on the theoretical studies.

Abstract

Trade through the internet network is known as electronic commerce has advantages that directly can be useful for Atk Sindoro one that uses the internet to aim to expand the marketing and service through the Internet so as to add value to the Ats Sindoro Shop. In order to customer is done by contacting by phone or go to company, so that takes a long time and hamper customer in doing transaction. Therefore this thesis is made aiming to design a web application program that is used for online ordering activities at Atk Sindoro. This research uses RUP methodology, programming language and database used in making this system is PHP and MySQL. With this system facilitate the process of sale and transaction of consumer ordering.

Abstract

Metro is a college of University of Muhammadiyah Muhammadiyah tingggi domiciled in the City Metro Lampung Province, including work areas Kopertis II Palembang. The current condition of Muhammadiyah University of Metro has 5 faculties and 18 courses. The bandwidth owned by the University of Muhammadiyah Metro is currently at 2 Mbps is used to serve the needs internet access at 5 faculties and 18 courses. Muhammadiyah University of Metro seeks to improve the quality of learning that is excellent service by using information technology which is using the Youtube site. From the results of research testing LUSCA Proxy Server, the time it takes the Internet network standard can be summed up as follows: (a) The absence of the network design and the absence LUSCA Internet Proxy Server at the University of Muhammadiyah Metro is causing Internet access to be slow so it takes Plan LUSCA Proxy Server to increase the speed of internet access. (b) Based on the results of this study concluded LUSCA Proxy Server is a technology solution to speed up Internet access, especially access youtube site at the University of Muhammadiyah Metro. (c) Based on calculations before and after the Proxy Server installed LUSCA obtained an average time difference between before and after the implementation of LUSCA Proxy Server for 232.2 seconds and the average time efficiency between before and after the implementation of the Proxy Server LUSCA 97.16 %.Keywords: LUSCA, proxy, server, youtube, youtube cache, refresh_pattern, storeurl.pl, hit content.

Abstract

Dewasa ini pemakaian beton sangat berkembang pesat pada kegiatan kontruksi, dikarenakan beton memiliki kelebihan mudah dibentuk sesuai keinginan, memiliki kuat tekan yang baik dan lain – lain. Tetapi beton memiliki kelemahan pada sifat yang getas dan kuat tarik yang rendah, sehingga kontruksi beton diberi tulangan untuk mengatasi pada bagian tarik. Maka diperlukan beton khusus untuk meningkatkan kuat tarik maupun kuat lentur yaitu beton serat. Beton serat adalah beton dengan bahan tambah serat. Dalam penelitian ini campuran beton menggunakan bahan tambah polypropylene fibre, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas beton pada umumnya dan khususnya pada kuat tarik belah dan kuat lentur. Polypropylene fibre menggunakan produk dari Sika dengan diameter 18 mikron dan panjang 12 mm. Pengujian ini meliputi pada kuat tekan, kuat tarik belah dan kuat lentur. Untuk pengujian kuat tekan dan kuat tarik belah menggunakan benda uji silinder dengan diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm, sedangkan kuat lentur menggunakan benda uji balok dengan panjang 60 cm, lebar 15 cm dan tinggi 15 cm. Benda uji terdiri dari tiga buah silinder dan tiga buah balok untuk masing - masing pengujian. Dari pengujian slump dapat disimpulkan tidak ada perubahan berarti dalam penggunanan polypropylene fibre. Dan dari pengujian kuat tekan, kuat tarik belah dan kuat lentur di dapatkan nilai optimum pada beton normal ditambah polypropylene fibre. Pada kuat tekan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 4,44 % dibandingkan beton normal (N), sedangkan pada kuat tarik belah terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16,96% dibandingkan beton normal (N), dan pada kuat lentur terjadi peningkatan sebesar 16,47 % dibandingkan beton normal (N).   Kata kunci : Polypropylene fibre, Kuat tekan, kuat tarik belah, kuat lentur

Abstract

Rumah  sakit  telah  melakukan  pengaturan  terhadap  persediaan-persediaan  yang  dimilikinya  dalam  kegiatan operasionalnya. Akan tetapi, rumah sakit masih mengalami kesulitan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pengelolaan persediaan yang dilakukan agar dapat berjalan secara optimal. Hal ini terjadi karena rumah sakit masih menerapkan sistem pencatatan persediaan secara manual sehingga menyebabkan informasi persediaan yang dibutuhkan rumah sakit dalam menganalisa pengelolaan persediaan menjadi tidak begitu akurat, memerlukan waktu yang lama, dan biaya yang besar. Dalam meningkatkan proses perkembangannya itulah maka penulis akan membangunan sistem informasi manajemen menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0. Tujuan yang akan dicapai adalah melakukan analisis sistem persediaan yang sedang berjalan pada rumah sakit, melakukan perancangan sistem informasi persediaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan, metode analisis dan metode perancangan. Metode analisis digunakan untuk meneliti masalah yang dihadapi rumah sakit. Metode perancangan digunakan untuk merancang suatu sistem yang baru yang dapat memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah dihasilkannya laporan yang berhubungan dengan pengolahan data dan tampilan layar yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pengolahan data tersebut. Simpulan dari penulisan penelitian ini adalah diharapkan sistem yang baru dapat memberikan kemudahan pada pihak yang terkait dalam melakukan pengolahan data secara cepat dan akurat, serta dapat menyimpan data dengan aman sehingga membantu dalam proses pelayanan terhadap masyarakat.
