Abstract

Waste water treatment of biology  forms promise something the choise. The plants can reduce  pollutant content to media  with extraction or immobilization from soil and/or water.  This research used Vetiveria zizanioides  L planted  with  hydroponic and wetland system in concentrate levels  waste water tapioca factory   and form a pot experiment. This research was aimed at answering the question : How do  Vetiveria zizanioides L capable  remediation cyanide in waste water tapioca factory?, and How do adaptation mechanism. Result for question, indicated that Vetiveria zizanioides L  capable decresed  cyanide until  100% concentrate level in the amount of 57%  in hydroponic system and 68 %  in wetland system. Interaction cropping system and consentrate levels waste water system significant effecs to total biomass. Vetiveria zizanioides L   capable adaptation in wetland system becouse  have the aerenchyma space had a high (32,73 %) compared growth without polluted in field capacity (29,28). This Research  was demonstrated that Vetiveria zizanioides L   capable remediation cyanide in waste water tapioca factory. Abstract

The experiment was conducted in the green house to study pore distribution of red yellow podzolic soil of compaction ­level and organic matters application. The experiment used the factorial randomized completely design consist of two factors. The first factor was soil compaction consist of 1.0 g/cm3, 1.2  g/cm3, 1.4 g/cm3.  The second factor was organic matter application, consist of without organic matter and applied 30 ton/ha organic matter. So there were 6 treatments, each treatment was replicated 4 times and were observed in 15 DAP, 30 DAP, 60 DAP and 90 DAP. The soil physic parameters were pore distribution. The results of the experiment showed that soil compaction treatments decreased total aeration  pore, available water pore and increasing total  an available water pore. Organic matter application in soil compacted improved macro pore. The good effect of organic matter were improved content volumetric water and field capacity water. Abstract

Rotan is basic material lampit have runkel number more than two with the result that repairing formation sheet paper with gived basic material others. Tusam (Pinus merkusii Jungh et de Vriese ) will give basic material  other in these experiment. The experiment was conducted in the laboratory to study use lampit waste will mix basic material paper  toward burst and tear strength paper. The experiment used the factorial randomized completely design consist of two factors. The first factor was basic material compositions consist of 100%  lampit waste; 75% lampit waste + 25% Pinus merkusii; 50% lampit waste + 50% Pinus merkusii ; 25% lampit waste + 75% ; 100% Pinus mekcusii.  The second factor was active alkali application, consist of 16%; 18%; 20%. So there were 15 treatments, ach treatment was replicated 2 times. The results of the experiment showed that composition 100% Pinus merkusii  have burst  and tear strength highest  that is 2,911 km and  193,047 m2. as following  mixed 25%  lampit waste + 75% pinus merkusii that is 2,833 km and 188,150 m2.  Aktive alkali consentration 16% have tear strength highest that is 179,082 m2. Abstract

Diamond mining in Palam Village District Cempaka is one of the people’s. The number of people mine will be positively correlated with the waste that system of diamond mining in Palam Village produce that use the system of dumping. Piles of minerals and mined land will also reduce the physical and chemical properties of soil such as bulk density, pH, CEC and C organic. Water pollution both on the water surface and ground water can occur because Lindian water (leachate) from the waste piles and puddles of water inside the pit. Questions to be answered in this study is how the soil and water quality impacts on post-mining land and which is not mined land. The research was conducted in the land post-mining diamonds in Palam Village District Cempaka Banjarbaru City of South Kalimantan. This land is no longer used for mining since 5 years ago. Soil sampling in the field conducted at two locations, there are the location that have not done as the diamond mining andafter diamond mining land. Replications of samples at each location as many as 3 samples done by purposive sampling. The results demonstrate the physical and chemical soil quality in the study area that includes Bulk Densityand structure of the soil that showing no difference between  the lnot mined land with post-mining land, while the chemical properties of post-mining land is smaller for the parameters CEC (6.96%), C- organic (0.55%) and organic matter (0.95%) than land which is not mined the CEC (11.86%), C-organic (1.24%) and organic matter (2.1%) while for otherwise the soil pH. As for water quality in the two land in the study area are also still within tolerable limits of water quality standards are allowed except for BOD5 parameter which is slightly above the quality standard according to Regulation No. 05 the Governor of South Kalimantan in 2007 and still considered the water quality is not polluted until polluted light. Abstract

This study aimed to determine of soil quality changes in paddy fields contaminated by coal waste. Descriptive research was conducted at the Mangkaok village, Kecamatan Pengaron, Kabupaten Banjar, South Kalimantan. Paddy fields contaminated by coal waste (LK) and the paddy fields isn’t contaminated (LtK) became study location. Soil quality indicators have been analized in the Environmental Research Center Laboratory, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru were bulk density of soil, C-organic, cation exchange capasity (CEC), totally of N soil, P-available, K-exchangeable, soil pH, Fe-soluble, Mn-soluble, SO42-, and soil texture. Water quality of the source impacts were analyzed as supporting data. This study was conducted from March to June 2010.  This study results showed bulk density of soil, soil pH, and K-exchangeable between LtK and LK have significant differences, whereas C-organic, totally of N soil, P-available, CEC, Fe-soluble, Mn-soluble, SO42-, and clay content didn’t significant differences. Bulk density of LK is heavier than LtK, potassium exchangeable of LK is higher than LtK and soil pH of LK is lower than Ltk.

Abstract

Land conversion is the result of the growth for the urban population. Conversion of green open space (RTH) for development can lead to change in environmental quality. One of the impact to change in environmental quality due to conversion of green space is the increase in local temperature of the city. The existence of RTH have considerable benefits to improve the environmental quality of the city, such as amelioration of microclimate. The aim of this research is to analyze the microclimate and discomfort index of park city for the Komet Village of Banjarbaru City. Microclimate condition as categorized "discomfort expressed by > 50% of the population" to "discomfort expressed by the majority of the population". This condition is affected by the average daily air temperature and the average daily humidity which high at the study site, resulting cause the high of discomfort index  felt by the population especially in the daytime.

Abstract

Crop Sirsak (Annona Muricata L.) having potency as larvasida involve. use Larvasida involve the peaceful relative because the residu easy to degradasi and non relative contaminate the environment. This research aim to specify the concentration of extract Annona muricata L leaf effective kill to wiggler of  Aedes aegypti, specifying concentration influence with the disclosure time and specify  of concentration and disclosure time of extract Annona muricata L leaf with the death wiggler of Aedes aegypti. Kind of Research experimental, by using Complete Random Device  two factor , that is concentration of extract Annona muricata L leaf and disclosure time. Result of analysis probit show the concentration of extract Annona muricata L leaf effective kill to wiggler of Aedes aegypti at LC90 with the concentration 459,82 ppm with the disclosure time 24 clock. From research result show the excelsior of concentration of extract Annona muricata L  leaf hence longer disclosure time faster. Correlation test show there is correlation betwen concentration of extract Annona muricata L leaf with the death wiggler of Aedes aegypti,  level correlation is medium ( r=0,432). While time of disclosure and death wiggler of Aedes aegypti show the strong relation ( r=0,743). Test the regresi show the existence of positive influence concentration of extract Annona muricata L leaf and disclosure time to death wiggler.
