Abstract

Now, drying paddy  using conventional method is irrelevant to used. The need of grain increasing each year is one of the main factor that pushes scientist to invent new methods of drying paddy grain. The old method is unusefull since it takes up space, needed the sun as the drying media which causes a long drying time. One of the alternative of drying paddy grain is by using mechanic dryer. By using this type of dryer, the process of drying takes faster comparing to the old method and the distribution of grain is supplied continuously. The dryer which uses fluidized bed  can be one of the solution due to its less energy consumption, a better drying result and high drying capacity. The variable used to identify drying performance is temperature and loading weight. From the experiment, it is resulted that the best temperature for drying paddy grain is 50 C with the flowrate 3,5 m/s.

Abstract

Abstract. The aims of the research were to determine: (1) which one has better learning achievement, Jigsaw learning model, TGT, or conventional, (2) which one has better learning achievement, students with high, middle or low intrapersonal, (3) based on learning model, which one has better learning achievement, students with high, middle, or low intrapersonal intelligence, (4) based on intrapersonal intelligence, which one has better learning achievement, Jigsaw learning model, TGT, or conventional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research with  a 3 x 3 factorial design. The population was XI science  students  of Senior High School in Kudus regency on academic year 2013/2014. Sampling was done by stratified cluster random sampling. The size of the sample were 277 students consisted of 95 students in the first experimental group, 87 students in the second and 95 for the control class. The instruments used were mathematics  achievement test and  intrapersonal intelligence questionnaire. The hypotheses testing used unbalanced two ways ANOVA. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded as follow. (1) Student learning achievement  treated by TGT  is better than Jigsaw  and conventional, and Jigsaw model is better than conventional, (2) Learning achievement of students who have high intrapersonal intelligence is better than students who have middle and low intrapersonal intelligence, and students who have middle intrapersonal intelligence is better than students who have low intrapersonal intelligence, (3) Based on  all types of learning models,    students who have high intrapersonal intelligence have better learning achievement than students who have middle and low intrapersonal intelligence, and students who have  middle intrapersonal intelligence have better learning achievement than student  who have low intrapersonal intelligence. (4)  For high intrapersonal intelligence, students learning achievement treated by TGT is better than Jigsaw, for both learning models,  Jigsaw  and conventional have the same learning achievement. For middle intrapersonal intelligence, students learning achievement treated by TGT  is better than conventional, while both learning models,  Jigsaw and conventional have the same learning achievement. For low intrapersonal intelligence,  conventional and TGT are better than Jigsaw, while both learning models, TGT and conventional have the same learning achievement.Keywords: Jigsaw, TGT,  intrapersonal intelligence, learning achievement.

Abstract

AbstractTeacher as the spearhead and one of the components that play a role in determining the quality of education, must always improve his knowledge and skills through the help of orther professionals, namely supervisors. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts of supervisors in development of social studies teacher is profesionalism in MIN Banjarmasin and the factors that influence it. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. Data are obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Supervisors efforts in fostering social studies teacher profesionalsm in MIN Banjarmasin based on programs that were prepared with other supervisors. Coaching efforts are still focused on class visits, interviews and meetings by using a collaborative approach. (2) These influencing factors are that supervisors rarely get training in supervision, that teacher is still reluctant to solve the problem and does not want to be supervised in class, the lack of teacher responsibility even though he has passed the teacher certification and lack technical skills and limited means.Keywords: Suopervisor, Coaching, Profesionalism, Social studies teacherAbstrakGuru sebagai ujung tombak dan satu komponen yang berperan dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan, harus selalu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya melalui bantuan orang lain yang profesional, yakni Pengawas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang dilakukan pengawas dalam pembinaan profesional guru IPS pada MIN kota Banjarmasin serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukakan bahwa (1) upaya pengawas dalam membina profesional guru IPS pada MIN Kota Banjarmasin didasarkan pada program yang disusun bersama pengawas lainnya. Upaya pembinaan masih terfokus kepada kunjungan kelas, wawancara dan rapat dengan menggunakan pendekatan kolaboratif. (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, yaitu pengawas jarang mendapatkan diklat dan pelatihan tentang kepengawasan, guru masih kurang mau menyelesaikan masalahnya dan tidak mau disupervisi kelas, rendahnya tanggung jawab meskipun lulus sertifikasi guru, serta kurang penguasaan skill teknologi dan sarana terbatas.Kata Kunci: Pengawas, Pembinaan, Profesional, Guru IPS

Abstract

Pedagogical competencies include the capabilities to manage learners, to design and to implement teaching and learning process, to assess students? achievement and to develop students? potential actualization. The pedagogical competence of the social science teachersof SMPN 1 Haruyan, this research formulates the problems as follows: (1) How is the pedagogical competence of IPS teachers in designing the teaching and learning process of social science?, (2) How is the pedagogical competence of IPS teachersin conducting the teaching and learning process? (3) How is the pedagogical competence of IPS teachers in using the instructional media? and (4) How is the pedagogical competence of IPS teachersin conducting the evaluation for teaching and learning process .The research method used is descriptive qualitative conducted to the IPS teachers of SMPN 1 Haruyan.Based on the results this research shows that (1) the IPS teachers do not fully have the pedagogical competence in planning the teaching and learning process  because they have never involved in identifying the students? learning needs. (2) the IPS teachers do not fully have pedagogical competence in performing the teaching and learning process because they do not always carry out the teaching and learning process in accordance with the procedures in the RPP, (3) the pedagogical competence of IPS teachers in using instructional media is still lacking because only one teacher that sometimes use laptop, computer, LCD, speaker, and internet. (4) the IPS teachers do not always conducted the evaluation of teaching and learning process because they do not always carry out pre-test and post-test on each lesson.Key words: Pedagogical competency, Social Science Teachers

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the implementation of Consumer’s Right Protection (UUPK) of drinking water customers in the city of Bekasi period 2010. Form of research is done is by using a normative juridical secondary data. Secondary data obtained through interviews, while through the research literature that comes from certain documents and materials. The research data when analyzed using qualitative methods obtained results that the rights of consumers that are set in the UUPK has not fully met by Bekasi City PDAM (PDMA) as business actor. On the other side involvement of district attorney in collection of accounts receivable, Attorney taps through a special power of attorney from the taps to the Attorney helps increase income taps, and increase business profitability of PDAM. Therefore, the PDAM should improve the quality of drinking water services to customers continuously in accordance with the standards set so that the rights of consumers can be met according to UUPK. And the municipal government should make regulations governing the area of responsibility as entrepreneurs PDAM water provider for the needs of the community, so if there are omissions or errors in service, customers know their rights. Abstract

The purpose of this study: (1) Know and analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance, (2) Determine and analyze the influence of Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance, and (3) Know and analyze the influence of the Employee Performance Extrinsic Motivation.The population in this study were all employees of the Regional Water Company (PDAM), Tanah Laut District totaling 48 people. The technique used is the technique of sampling saturated with the overall number of population sampled. Collecting data using questionnaires designed using level Likert scale 1-5. Analysis of the data using structural models SmartPLS.The results showed: (1) Transformational Leadership Style significant effect on the performance of employees amounted to 31.25%, based on the significant influence of Transformational Leadership Style it is expected that the leadership of the company to maintain the values contained in Transformational Leadership Style thereby giving encouragement to employees to increase their performance , (2) intrinsic Motivation significant effect on the performance of employees amounted to 35.32%, based on intrinsic Motivation is expected to significantly influence the management / leadership of the company increases intrinsic motivation given to encourage employees to increase their performance, and (3) Extrinsic motivation significantly influence employee performance amounted to 35.63%, based on the expected significant influence extrinsic motivation management / leadership of the company increased extrinsic motivation given to encourage employees to increase their performance. Keywords : Transformational Leadership, Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation and Employee Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to prove the influence of Competence (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and the Working Environment (X3) on employee performance (Y)Location Research Office Bank Branch in Banjarmasin city in South Kalimantan, that concist from 4 office branch with the size a sample of 48 employees were selected by sampling saturated. Collecting data using questionnaires designed using level Likert scale 1-5. Data analysis using PLS.The test results prove competency significantly influence employee performance Bank branch Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan, with great effect by 66%, Work Discipline not significant effect on Employee Performance Bank branch in South Kalimantan Banjarmasin with great effect by 6.6%, and the Working Environment effect is not significant the Employee performance Bank branch in South Kalimantan Banjarmasin with great influence with the great influence of 11%. Keywords: Competence, Work Discipline and Work Environment and Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Attitude, Knowledge of the application of CRM and test the effect of Attitude, Knowledge, Application of CRM on the Performance of Customer Service through a quantitative approach with methods of explanatory research, the technique of scoring using a Likert scale and the analytical techniques used is the approach of Structural Equation Model ( SEM) with Software Partial Least Square (PLS) and SPPS.Results of this study explains that the attitude variables not significant effect on CRM which the known value of the variable t <t table, namely: 1.608 <2.01, significantly influence the knowledge variable CRM variables which are known t count> t table, namely: 5.722> 2.01, attitude variables not significant effect on the performance of customer service where the variables are known values t <t table, namely: 1.708 <2.01, not significant knowledge variable to variable customer service performance which, known values of t <t tables, namely: 0.777 <2.01, while the CRM variables significantly influence the performance of a customer service where the variables are known values t <t table, namely: 9.852 <2.01.This study shows that the dimensions of knowledge have the effect of higher significance than Attitude towards CRM. Similarly, the CRM has a positive and significant impact on the performance of Customer Service.Keyword: Attitude, Knowledge, Application Performance Against CRM Customer Service

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the fundamental things that made the company management hadto exterminate PT.Metro Batavia, and to do some assessments from business aspect of PT.Metro Bataviamanagement, whetherthe decision to exterminate the company has already precise.This research was executed at Curator officeof PT.Metro Batavia in Jakarta. The research utilized qualitative approach method that emphasizedon secondary data.Due to factors identification of IFAS and EFAS at PT.Metro Batavia, the result of the research showed that liquidation strategy was the best decision to make, it was proven by result of IFAS calculation at -0,17 (weak) and EFAS at -0,32 (low) shown by Table 5.15: MATRIX INTERNAL-EXSTERNAL (IE MATRIX), and the management decision to liquidating PT. Metro Batavia has beenaccurate, since it confirmedby strategic management analysis and its execution did not against the business ethics.  Keywords: Liquidation, PT.Metro Batavia
