Abstract

 ABSTRACT            As with the development of the railway, the construction of the train station has an important role in the development of the rail transportation mode. The affordability and alignment with other modes of transportation are important to consider in its placement in the layout of the city. The placement of Bandung’s railway station in the city of Bandung in spatial colonial times is the issue of this paper. The descriptive analytical research methods used to answer this issue. Data were collected through survey and literature studies. The result showed that the placement of Bandung’s railway station in the city is very strategic for its location is within easy reach from all parts of the city.            Keywords : Railway station, strategic place, Bandung  ABSTRAK            Seperti halnya pengembangan jalur kereta api, pembangunan stasiun memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan moda transportasi kereta api. Keterjangkauan dan keselarasan dengan moda transportasi lain merupakan hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan dalam peletakannya pada tata ruang kota. Penempatan  stasiun kereta api Bandung dalam tata ruang kota Bandung zaman kolonial merupakan permasalahan yang diangkat dalam tulisan ini. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut dilakukan penelitian deskriptif analitis.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka dan survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dipandang dari ruang tata kota, penempatan  stasiun kereta api Bandung sangat strategis karena mudah dijangkau dari seluruh penjuru kota. Kata Kunci : Stasiun kereta api, lokasi strategis, Bandung

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to explain the relations between Railway Network with the defense of the Dutch colonial government in Java. Descriptive studies were used for this paper. Data collection was conducted through literature review, maps review, and surveys. The main purpose of the Railway Network construction is for the benefit of transporting crops. In addition, it is also directed to military purposes, as part of a military defense strategy on the island of Java. After Bandung became center of the Dutch defense in Java, the existence of the railway transport modes have strategic value. Its presence supports the mobility of military forces, supplies and equipment for war. For certain conditions and emergency, train was used to evacuate civilians and government to a safe and protected place. Keywords: railways, military strategy, mass transit  AbstrakTujuan penulisan ini adalah mengungkapkan keterkaitan antara jaringan jalan kereta api dengan pertahanan pemerintah kolonial Belanda di pulau Jawa. Pendekatan Deskriptif digunakan pada tulisan ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan studi pustaka, studi peta, dan survei. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan keruangan. Pembangunan jaringan kereta api bertujuan utama untuk memperlancar lalu lintas barang dan jasa. Keberadaannya juga memiliki arti penting dalam sistem pertahanan pulau Jawa. Kereta api merupakan angkutan massal bagi prajurit dan persenjataan ke medan perang. Pada kondisi darurat, kereta api juga merupakan sarana transportasi untuk mengevakuasi warga sipil dan pemimpin pemerintahan ke tempat pengungsian yang terlindung dan aman. Kata  kunci : jalan kereta api, strategi militer, angkutan massal

Abstrak,Bangunan PLTA Bengkok dan PLTA Dago merupakan bangunan bersejarah peninggalan zaman kolonial Belanda. Pembangunannya dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lenaga lisrik Kota Bandung. Bentuk dan fungsi bangunan PLTA Bengkok dan PLTA Dago serta leknologinya merupakan permasaiahan yang diangkal dalam tulisan ini. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebui dipergunakan metode penelitian dcskiptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara survci, wawancara, dan sludi literalur. Bangunan-bangunan di PLTA Bengkok dan PLTA Dago dibangun sesuai dengan fiingsinya dan kondisi lingkungan setempat.Kata Kitnci; rumuh pemhangkii. pipa pesai. kolam Pakar Abstract,The Buildings of Bengkok Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) and Dago HEPP are the heritage building of Dutch colonial period. Bengkok HEPP and Dago HEPP were built to fill electricity needs of Bandung city. Architecture and functions of Buildings, and Us technology are issues in this paper. The descriptive research methods used to answer these issues. Data were collected through surveys, and interviews and literature studies. Abstract.Bosscha Observatory is a relic of Dutch colonial buildings, which until now is still utilized for the development of Astronomical Sciences. The function of the building houses of the telescope and the technologies used are is­sues discussed in this paper. The Appropriate issues. The research methodology was used the methods of descriptive research. The data was collected through surveys and literature studies. Abstract

AbstractMass Transportation had become a problem encountered by the Dutch colonial government in their colonies, this includes Banten. These conditions encouraged the development of railway as a solution. The Dutch government successfully opened the railway between Batavia to Anyerkidul, Staatsspoorwegen expanded the line by opening railway from Rangkasbitung to Labuan. The problem discussed in this paper concerned with the placement of a train shelter on the railway line accross Rangkasbitung to  Labuan. This paper is descriptive by using spatial approach data analysis. Builders of the railway line in Banten, including Rangkasbitung - Labuan crossing, aimed to open the inclosure of Banten regions, the exploitation of natural resources, and to reduce security threats that often occurred in the area. The placement of train stops at Rangkasbitung to Labuan traffic was done with the consideration on residential areas, passenger destinations, locations of railway crossing, refueling, and government businesses.

Abstract

AbstractThe cableway system is a common problem that is discussed in this paper. A descriptive method is used to answer the problem. The data is collected through literary studies, surveys, and interviews. The cableway is a mining transportation in the Cikotok Gold Mine. This facility was built simultaneously with the construction of the Gold Mining and ore processing plant, which was between 1936 and 1939. This lorry transported minerals from mining centers, namely Cirotan and Cikotok, to the processing plant in Pasir gombong. The results showed that the cableways were not functioned as the termination of activity in the Cikotok Gold Mine. The remaining of cableways that still there is the foundation structure of the Cirotan Station and Cikotok station buildings, and the pillars are used as SUTT PLN’s poles. The existence of the cableway for transportation of mining products is a human adaptation to the environment. Keywords: cableway, mining transportation, ore.
