Abstract

The objective of research is to improve the creativity and classic Indonesian history learning achievement through optimizing the creative problem solving model in teaching-learning process in History Study Program of FKIP UNS. This study was carried out using classroom action research. The research contains the action aiming to improve a system´s quality and the practice within the system. In this research, the intended system is the teaching learning process of Indonesian Classic history carried out in Social Science Education Department of History Education Study Program of Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University addressed in Ir. Sutami Street No. 36 A Surakarta. The subject of research was the students of History Study Program attending classing Indonesian history course. Meanwhile the object was the teaching-learning process activity, including: lecturer´s teaching activity, students´ creativity and learning achievement. This research was carried out using collaborative participative approach between the incharge-of lecturer, assisting lecturer (researcher), and the student so that sharing occurs in each stage of activity. This research was done using cyclical analysis process encompassing four stages of activity: planning, acting, observing, and reflection. This research was implemented in two cycles: cycle I as the implementation of action, and cycle II as improvement. In line with the objective above, the problem in this research was the students´ low creativity and learning achievement. It is characterized by: the student´s low discipline, participation, and capability of accom-plishing task. In order to improve the students´ creativity and learning achievement, this research, the researcher carries out action in the form of creative problem solving model application in Indonesian classic history. Before the activity is carried out: the concept of history learning quality is instilled, the training of learning implementation plan arrangement is done, and peer teaching is intended to improve the lecturer´s capability in applying the creative problem solving model. Having carried out those activities and implemented the result into the teaching learning process, it can be seen that from one cycle to another the student´s creativity and learning achievement improves. It is reflected fiom: the improvement of students discipline in utilizing learning time, capability of looking for and collecting the source, capability of identifying, formulating, and solving the problem, idea generation, students´ idea.

Abstract

This study aims to consider about ecoliteracy in community with sensitive natural disaster by local knowledge “Prabu Boko Mithology”. Existence of the myth could cause a holy placed at neighborhood had “danyang” as ancestor taking care village. To respect “danyang”, community run traditional ritual to refuse natural disaster. The data are gained by indepth interview through public figure, religious man, and caretaker holy placed. Moreover, this study is run by non participant observation and folklore (traditional story) to reinforce the data. Based on the data show that traditional community still have been believe on Prabu Boko Myth by done “Bersih Desa” ritual with rituals offering as respect of ancestor. “Bersih Desa” means traditional ritual to repeal natural disaster.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to improve the students’ social skills and historical learning achievement through aplicating numbered head together (NHT) cooperative learning model by using question-card media in historical learning.This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was implemented in two cycles. Every cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this is class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak which consists of 33 students. The data collection techniques of this research use observation, interview, questionnaire, test, and documentation. Test validity of data using triangulation techniques which are data and method triangulation. The data analysis used are comparative descriptive analysis model and interactive analysis model.  The results of this study show that; 1) The implementation of Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model by using question-card can increase the students’ social skills in class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak. This is indicated by the increasing percentages of the number of students’ social skills with a high category in the pre cycle, which is 21,21%. In the first cycle, then increased to 51,52% and 81,82% in second cycle. In the percentages result, the students’ number who have high social skills and the average percentage of social skills indicators have exceeded the target ≥80%; 2) The implementation of Numbered Heads Together cooperative learning model by using question-card can improve the learning achievement of students class X IPS 3 SMA N 1 Ngemplak. This shows the increased percentage of students’ learning mastery in each cycle. At pre cycle, percentage of the number of students who can reach the limit of the value of learning domination (KKM 75) is 54,55%. In the first cycle, percentage of the number of students who can reach the limit of the value of learning domination increased to 60,70% and 93,94% in the second cycle. The acquisition percentage of students’ learning achievement completeness passed the target which is ≥80%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out; 1) the difference effect between Inquiry and Direct Intruction learning models toward learning achievement of history, 2) the difference effect between Inquiry land Direct instruction toward learning achievement history viewed from high learning independence, 3) the difference effect between Inquiry land Direct instruction toward learning achievement history viewed from low learning independence 4) the interaction effect between the model of learning and learning independence in learning of achievement of history.This study use a quantitative approach to experiment with factorial design 2 x 2. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Kroya, Cilacap District, Central Java. The sampling technique used is the technique of simple random sampling, in this study the sample were students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kroya. Data were collected by means of is test and questionnaires. Those data were analyzed  with Two way Anava test with different content of cel, followed with multiplr comparison of Scheffe method with level of significance 0,05. Before analysis, Validity test conducted by Product Moment Correlation, reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha and KR 20 test for normality and homogenity test.The result of hypothesis show that (1) there were  significance between Inquiry and Direct Intruction learning model toward learning achievement (Fhitung> Ftabel or 40.723>3.16). (2) the were significance between Inquiry land Direct instruction toward learning achievement history viewed from high learning independence (sig 0.000<0.05). (3) there were significance between Inquiry land Direct instruction toward learning achievement history viewed from low learning independence (sig.0.006<0.05). (4) there was no effect interaction between teaching with the independence learning towards their achievement of history (sig. 0,533 >0,05).

Abstract

The objectives of research were to find out: 1) the relationship between understanding of national movement history with attitude of patriotism of the students. 2) The relationship between the national insights with attitude of patriotism of the students. 3) The relationship between understanding of national movement history and the national insights with attitude of patriotism of the student. This research using quantitative method with correlational research design. The population of research was all of the XI grades of SMA Batik 2  Surakarta of academic year 2017/2018, consisting of 248 students. The sample used is of 71 students. The sample was taken using random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used were questionnaire. The technique of collecting data used were questionnaire. The technique of analyzing data used was a multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, multiple correlation analysis (F-test), R2, and relative and effective contribution. The conclusion of research were as: 1) there is a negatively relationship between the relationship between understanding of national movement history with attitude of patriotism of the students. It could be seen from the multiple linear analysis (t-test) showing that tstatistic < ttable, 0,951 < 1,687  and the significance value > 0,05 of 0,329. The Errors that occurred allegedly came from preparation of test. Comprehension test about allegedly used the elusive answer choices. Limitations time in test-taking.2) There was a positive relationship between the national insights with attitude of patriotism of the students. It could be seen from the multiple linear analysis (t-test) showing that tstatistic > ttable, 7,794 > 1,676 and the significance value < 0,05, of 0,000. 3) There was a positive relationship between understanding of national movement history and the national insights with attitude of patriotism of the students. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression variance analysis (F-test) showing that Fstatistic > Ftable, 52,662 > 2,38 and the significance value < < 0,05 of 0,000.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengukuran dalam penelitian ini test pemahaman konsep berbentuk pilihan ganda, hasil post-test lebih tinggi dari hasil pre-test yaitu dari hasil rata-rata 35,25 menjadi 67,18. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat dengan kategori sedang (N-gain=0,47) setelah diterapkan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing pada materi pengukuran. Dalam penelitian ini aspek pemahaman konsep yang diukur dibatasi pada aspek; menafsirkan, mencontohkan, menjelaskan, membandingkan, dan mengklasifikasikan. Dari kelima aspek pemahamn konsep yang diukur yang mengalami peningkatan paling tinggi yaitu membandingkan sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Long-term goal of this study was to character-based learning model can be applied in the implementation of the multicultural character education curriculum in junior high school (SMP) in Surakarta as an effort to prevent a culture of violence in Surakarta. The target of this study is the identification of a model-based development of multicultural learning manners. To achieve these objectives do Research and Development (R & D) gradually for 3 (three) years. This study used a qualitative paradigm, which I pursued in the exploratory method; year to second with the method of exposure, focus groups, workshops, and in-depth interviews; year to III with training methods, test models, evaluation of the test results, the revised and improved model that has been tested, and dissemination of results. development. Concrete measures in the first year were identified: 1) initial ability of teachers to implement character education multicultural education based learning process in implementing character education curriculum. 2) Perception of teachers character education based on learning multicultural education. 3) Perceptions of stakeholders (Department Dikpora / Surakarta City Government, parents / guardians, school character education) to the learning process based multicultural education. 4) Identify the extent of the implementation of character education has been developed through a learning process based on multicultural education, and 5) draft a tentative model of the development of learning-based multicultural character as prevention of the culture of violence in Surakarta. Data collected from other informants, places and events as well as documents / files, or through focus groups, which further analyzed with interactive models.The results obtained in the studies I dart this, namely: (1) The teachers have implemented a character education character-based multicultural learning through discussion methods, simulations, games, community service, observations, as well as the provision of materials in the classroom manners. However, most teachers do not understand the concept of multicultural education, (2) The teachers and stakeholders strongly support the learning plan based multicultural character, given that smells sara violence that often involve the students, (3) learning manners have been implemented with based multicultural through the process of learning, habituation, and modeling. Habituation and modeling performed by all the schools, while the learning process implemented by educators character education, (4) learning manners are still a lot of barriers or obstacles that come dart students, teachers / administrative staff-employees, the environment around the school, funds, facilities and infrastructure, principals, parents, and government policy.
