PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR BERSERI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS NARASI SISWA KELAS IV SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan  pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam menggunakan media gambar berseri, (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa, (3) Mendeskripsikan kendala yang muncul dan cara mengatasinya dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media gambar berseri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas IVA SDN Sidotopo VIII/55 Surabaya. Rancangan  penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklusnya melalui tiga tahapan yang sama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara diskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase keterlaksanaan dalam aktivitas pembelajaran di siklus I mencapai 90% pada pertemuan 1 dan 93% pada pertemuan 2. Sedangkan siklus II mencapai 100% pada pertemuan 1 dan 100% pada pertemuan 2. Rata-rata nilai ketercapaian aktivitas pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan dari nilai 68 pada pertemuan 1 dan nilai 74 pada pertemuan 2 siklus I menjadi nilai 84 pada pertemuan 1 dan nilai 89 pada pertemuan 2 siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 78% pada siklus I  meningkat menjadi 94% pada siklus II. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan hasil yang dicapai sudah melebihi standar ketuntasan yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 80%. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah (1) Siswa mempunyai rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, (2) Guru terlalu aktif berjalan sehingga membuat siswa bingung. Cara mengatasi dengan berusaha memenuhi rasa ingin tahu tersebut dan bergerak sesuai dengan kebutuhan agar pembelajaran berlangsung sesuai alokasi waktu. Kesimpulannya penggunaan media gambar berseri dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi siswa SDN Sidotopo VIII/55 Surabaya.   Kata kunci: media gambar berseri, keterampilan menulis narasi. Abstract: This study aimed (1) to describe the implementation of learning in the glow image using the media, (2) to describe the narrative writing student learning outcomes, (3) to describe the obstacles that arise and how to overcome them in the implementation of learning using media images beamed to improve students´ narrative writing skills class IVA SDN Sidotopo VIII/55 Surabaya. The design of this study is action research. Classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle through the same three phases, including planning, execution, and observation, and reflection. Data were collected by using observation, testing, and field notes. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results show the percentage of enforceability in the learning activity in the first cycle was 90% at 1 and 93% meeting at the meeting 2. While the second cycle reached 100% at the meeting 1 and 100% at the meeting 2. The average value of the achievement of the learning activity also increased from 68 at the confluence of the value 1 and the value of 74 in the second meeting of the first cycle to the value of 84 in the first meeting and the value of 89 in the second meeting of the second cycle. Mastery learning students by 78% in the first cycle increased to 94% in the second cycle. The percentages indicate the outcome has exceeded a predetermined standard completeness of 80%. Obstacles encountered are (1) Students have a high curiosity, (2) Teachers are actively running so as to make the students confused. How to cope by trying to satisfy the curiosity and move as needed so that learning takes appropriate allocation of time. In conclusion the use of serial images media can be used to enhance the students´ narrative writing skills SDN Sidotopo VIII/55 Surabaya. Keywords: serial media images, narrative writing skills.

Abstract

Communication  is always occurred in each area in library, for instance, communication links to the top, bottom, and horizontal line. Communication is a process of sending ide or thoughts to others. Such communication is needed in order to have good circumstances in library, and those from outside the library.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perencanaan program (2) pelaksanaan program (3) hasil pelaksanaan program dan (4) dampak program Taman Bacaan Masyarakat pada TBM Mata Aksara, TBM Cakruk Pintar, TBM Luru Ilmu, dan TBM Rumah Asa dalam meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan model CIPPO, yang terdiri atas context, input, process, product, dan outcome. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 4 temuan.  Pertama, Setiap TBM memiliki program kegiatan yang berbeda. Kedua, pelaksanaan kegiatan program pada masing-masing TBM telah berjalan dengan baik. Ketiga, hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan program berjalan baik dengan berbagai prestasi yang diraih oleh TBM. Keempat, dampak kegiatan program pada masing-masing TBM dapat dikatakan baik, karena memiliki manfaat positif terhadap masyarakat. Kata Kunci: evaluasi, taman bacaan masyarakat, keberhasilan   THE SUCCESS EVALUATION OF COMMUNITY LIBRARY PROGRAM IN IMPROVING COMMUNITY READING INTEREST IN YOGYAKARTA Abstract This study aimeds to know: (1) planning program, (2) implementation, (3) the results of the implementation, and (4) program impact of the TBM program Mata Aksara TBM, Cakruk Pintar TBM, Luru Ilmu TBM, and Rumah Asa TBM in improving reading interest of society. This type of research was the evaluation study using CIPPO model, which consisted of context, input, process, product, and outcome. The results show four findings. First, every TBM has different programs, so that each has its own type of activity. Second, the implementation of program activities at each TBM can be said to be good. Third, the results of the implementation of the program of activities can be said to be good with a variety of accomplishments achieved by the TBM. Fourth, the impact of the program on each TBM can are good, because it has positive benefits for the community. Keywords: evaluation, community library, success 

Citation Analisis as a Tool of Library Collections Evaluation

Abstract

This paper discusses about citation analisis as a tool that can be used in performing library collection evaluation. The discussion include source, scope and analysis parameter, literature character, and the analysis advantage of citation. Through this citation analysis, it can be known the growth and the development of science in certain subject. In citation analysis, it also can be described relation between parts or all documents cited with citing documents. So, it can be counted how many works cited by authors. For libraries, the result of citation analysis becomes consideration in making collection development policy. It is recommended that the library pays attention to the collection of the researches that are based on the citation analysis and uses them as collection evaluation tool. Other than that, the library should use the researches that are based on the citation analysis as the consideration in making the policy of collection development.

Abstract

Tofu is a food with high protein content and the moisture content reaches 85%, so that it knows can not last long. Manufacturers know still use formaldehyde as a preservative. Handling to reduce formaldehyde levels in the know are soaked in hot water and boiled in boiling water. The purpose of this study was to determine the ratio decreased levels of formaldehyde in the know are boiled and soaked in hot water out. This type of research is True Experiment with posttest study design Only Control Group Design. The population in this study is tofu containing formalin. Then examined by spectrophotometry of formaldehyde levels in most groups as a pretest sample, others are given treatment and formalin levels checked by spectrophotometry. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. Results of this study the average levels of formaldehyde in the know before the treatment is 68.668 ppm. Decreased levels of formaldehyde in formalin know after boiling for 10 minutes was 64.77%. Decreased levels of formaldehyde in formalin know with the treatment of immersion in hot water for 10 minutes is 33.1%. Based on statistical tests that have been conducted, it was found a significant difference between the reduced levels of formaldehyde in formalin boiled out and the know formalin soaked in hot water with sig. 0,000. Boiling know formalin reduce levels of formaldehyde greater than soaking out in hot water.

Abstract

This paper discusses about citation which one tool can be used in performing library collection evaluation. Throught this citation analysis, it can be known science growing and development in certain subject. In citation analysis also can be described relation between part or all document cited with citing document. So, it can be count how many the works cited by authors. For libraries, the result of citation analysis can become consideration in making collection development policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi  pentingnya kemampuan membaca dalam bahasa anak, baik di sekolah maupun di lingkungan keluarga untuk kesiapan anak dalam melanjutkan di sekolah dasar. Kurangnya kemampuan membaca akan menghambat anak dalam berkomunikasi, terutama menurunnya prestasi perkembangan bahasa anak.Permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan membaca melalui media wayang huruf? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca melalui media wayang huruf pada peserta didik kelompok B di TK KASIH IBU Kota Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Penelitian ini dilakukan pada anak Kelompok B TK Kasih Ibu Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan jumlah siswa 16. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus setiap siklus melalui 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan penugasan, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil observasi dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif  kualitatif yang digambarkan dengan kata-kata atau kalimat, dipisah-pisahkan menurut kategori untuk memperoleh kesimpulan. Aktifitas dilakukan dalam bentuk interaktif dengan proses pengumpulan data sebagai proses siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media wayang huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada anak TK Kasih Ibu Kelompok B tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Kemampuan membaca dari kondisi awal ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan, yaitu dari 15% yang memiliki kemampuan baik menjadi 83%. Terjadi peningkatan sebanyak (68%).Saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan hendaknya guru guru dalam pembelajaran menyampaikan materi melalui media dan alat peraga. Guru harus mampu menciptakan media yang dapat mendukung kegiatan belajar anak. Guru harus kreatif menggunakan metode-metode lain yang dapat meningkatkan sikap dan kemampuan membaca siswa. Kata Kunci : Media Wayang Huruf, Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca

Abstract

This article is intended to investigate the users’ information seeking behaviour in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip (Perpusip) Kabupaten Tangerang, based on Seven Pillars model. Data are collected by using questionnaire and observation. The result shows that based on Seven Pillars model, the information seeking behaviour of Perpusip Kabupaten Tangerang’s users is high. It can be seen by the indicator  mean score that gain 3,0 in Identify, Scope, Plan, Gather, Evaluate, Manage, and Present. Generally, the users’ information seeking behaviour in Perpusip Kabupaten Tangerang correspond with the indicators of Seven Pillars information literacy model. However, there are several indicators are needed to be increased, such as in Gather, Evaluate, and Present. In these indicators, many users still chose “sometimes” in answering the questions.---Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku pencarian informasi pemustaka di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip (Perpusip) Kabupaten Tangerang berdasarkan model Seven Pillars. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pencarian informasi pemustaka di Perpusip Kabupaten Tangerang berdasarkan model Seven Pillars tergolong tinggi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata indikator yang mencapai 3,03, baik dari indikator Mengidentifikasi (Indentify), Cakupan (Scope), Rencana (Plan), Mengumpulkan (Gather), Evaluasi (Evaluate), Mengelola (Manage), dan Menyajikan (Present). Secara umum perilaku pencarian informasi pemustaka di Perpusip Kabupaten Tangerang sudah sesuai dengan indikator-indikator yang ada pada model literasi informasi Seven Pillars. Namun, di sisi lain masih ada beberapa indikator yang perlu mereka tingkatkan, diantaranya yaitu pada indikator Gather, Evaluate dan Present. Pada indikator-indikator tersebut masih banyak pemustaka yang menjawab kadang-kadang pada beberapa pernyataan yang disampaikan. DOI : 10.15408/bat.v24i1.7313

Abstract

This study measures the productivity of UIN Jakarta lecturers’ authorship in Scopus indexed journal, by calculating and analyzing the number of published scientific papers, collaboration level and collaboration index, and lecturer productivity of UIN Jakarta under Lotka Law. The research method used is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data analysis was done by bibliometric study. The results showed that there are 447 scientific works written by 114 lecturers of UIN Jakarta has been published in Scopus indexed journal during the period of 2002 - July 2017. The degree of collaboration of UIN Jakarta lecturers in writing scientific papers is 0.74, while the lecturer collaboration index UIN lecturer Jakarta in writing scientific paper is 0.255. Based on Lotka’s Law, the sole authorship of UIN Jakarta lecturers in Scopus indexed journals only resulted in 0.034 (3%) of the overall publication results. Thus it can be concluded that the productivity of UIN Jakarta lecturers in producing fewer individual scien-tific works than in collaboration.
