Abstract

The aims of research is to find out the outpouring of hours of labor, the contribution of labor “Borong Prestasi” (TKBP) to the family income and factors affecting labor “Borong Prestasi” income. The basic method used is descriptive method. Respondents are took in stratified random sampling with the number of respondents as many as 52 people. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collected by interview, observation and recording. Based on analysis of data on average hours TKBP is 5,2 hours per day. TKBP contribution to the family income is 40 percent of TKBP income amounted Rp 595.942 to total family income amounted Rp 1.486.519. R2values were obtained using multiple linier regression model for 0,957 means that the independent variable the number of jati wood obtained, the outpouring of hours of labor, length of work and age affecting to TKBP income in post-harvest handling jati wood is 95,7 percent, while 4,3 percent is influenced by other variables outside the model. F test result showed that the number of jati wood obtained, the outpouring of hours of labor, length of work and age together are very significant for TKBP income. T test result showed that the variable of the number of jati wood obtained significant and the outpouring of hours of labor significantly effect for TKBP income, while the variable length of work and age is not significant on TKBP income.Keywords: contribution, jati wood, labor “Borong Prestasi”, Blora Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to determine the number of marketing channels, the amount of marketing margins and marketing efficiency of tempe chips in Lerep Village, West Ungaran District Regency. The basic method of research used is descriptive method of analysis. Determination of the sample area is done purposively in Lerep Village, West Ungaran District Regency. The number of respondents as many as 15 respondents. Data analysis cost analysis and marketing margin of each marketing channel, analysis of marketing efficiency of tempe chips each channel. The results showed that there are three channels of marketing tempe chips. Channel I consists of: Producer - Final Consumer, Channel II consists of: Manufacturer - Retailer - Final Consumer and Channel III consists of : Manufacturer - Wholesaler - Retailer - Final Consumer. Total marketing margin value on channel I is Rp. 4,380, channel II is Rp. 4,500, - and channel III is Rp. 4,500. The cost incurred on channel I is Rp. 120, on channel II of Rp. 513 and on channel III is Rp. 815. The marketing of tempe chips has shown an efficient value. It can be seen from marketing efficiency value of each channel is channel I equal to 0,26%, channel II equal to 1,18%, and channel III equal to 1,87%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of farmers Ipomea reptans, knowing Ipomea reptans Farmers' Income Level and to determine the feasibility of Ipomea reptans business. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis of samples using purposive sampling method. Research results revealed that the cultivation of kale kale Mranggen Army in Waru subdistrict, Demak ranging from land preparation to harvest Ipomea reptans. Ipomea reptans can be harvested seven times in one growing season, in one growing season lasts for four months. Cultivation swamp land by farmers in Waru still traditional. During the production season swamp land an average of 4 months, the income of farmers Rp.1.984.369 with a total area of 2402.63 m2. The average cost incurred by Rp.1.318.039,06 farmers, farmers' income by Rp.666.329,94., BEP value of farmers reached a value of BEP / breakeven in 2197 belt. so agriculture Ipomea reptans is worth the effort   Keywords : Ipomea reptans, Income, Swamp Land,

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate feces quality and organic matter intake of New Zealand White (NZW) rabbit fed different fibre source in the ration. The treatments were T1: coffee peel as fibre source, T2: coffee and been peel (1:1) as fibre source (1:1) and T3: been peel as fibre source. Five teen NZW 50-60 days old with 1.2 kg initial body weigh were divided randomly in to three treatments. Result of this experiment were no significant effect (P>0.05) of treatment on crude protein, crude fibre of feces and organic matter intake but gave significant effect (P<0.05) on feces crude fat.It can be concluded that the feces quality of rabbit fed different fibre source in the ration was relatively same, therefore it doesn’t need pre-treatment when it will further processed.

Abstract

This research had been conducted to determine the dose response of herbicide mixtures against weeds tukulan palm oil that has been held in PTPN VIII Kebun Cisalak Baru. This study used quantitative and qualitative methods with a Completely Randomized Design where treatment consists of two factors, there are 3 levels ie herbicide Glyphosate (H1), Paraquat (H2), Glyphosate + Paraquat (H3) and 4 levels of herbicide dose of 10 ml/0.5 liters of water (D1), 10 ml/1 liter of water (D2), 10 ml/1.5 liters of water (D3), 10 ml/2 liters of water (D4), which was repeated 3 times and each disc consists of two oil palm fruit oil palm plantations (tukulan) and thus require 36 disks palm and there were 72 experimental unit. Observation parameters include leaf chlorophyll content, leaf color, leaf shape and symptoms of poisoning. The results showed that the chlorophyll content parameter with a mixture of herbicides containing Glyphosate dose of Paraquat 5 ml + 5 ml + 0.5 liters of water have an effect on leaf chlorophyll parameters. Then the mixture of herbicides containing Glyphosate dose of Paraquat 5 ml + 5 ml + 1 liter of water affect the parameters of the symptoms of poisoning. While the herbicide mixture containing 10 ml dose of Paraquat + 0.5 liters of water affects the leaf color parameters.

Abstract

Gelatin adalah produk alami yang diperoleh dari hidrolisis parsial kolagen. Gelatin merupakan protein yang larut yang bisa bersifat sebagai gelling agent (bahan pembuat gel) atau sebagai non gelling agent. Sumber bahan baku gelatin dapat berasal dari sapi (tulang dan kulit jangat), babi (hanya kulit) dan ikan (kulit).  Cara pembuatan gelatin secara umum adalah :  kulit atau tulang hewan yang kaya akan kolagen direndam dalam asam atau basa, kemudian diekstrasi dengan panas secara bertingkat. Gelatin memiliki fungsi yang masih sulit digantikan dalam industri pangan maupun obat-obatan. Hal ini dikarenakan gelatin bersifat serba bisa, yaitu bisa berfungsi sebagai bahan pengisi, pengemulsi (emulsifier), pengikat, pengendap, pemerkaya gizi, sifatnya juga luwes yaitu dapat membentuk lapisan tipis yang elastis, membentuk film yang transparan dan kuat, kemudian sifat penting lainnya yaitu daya cernanya yang tinggi

Abstract

Report compiled to executed Field  in  Popular Farm Country Kuncen District  Mijen Town Semarang to obtain;get knowledge, ability and skilled about management conservancy of petelur race chicken specially layer period. Used items Farm owning layer chicken  counted 47.630 tail, what consist of two strain that is New Lohman Platinum and Isa Brown. Used by Method is to 1) conducting all routine activity 2) doing record-keeping of done data with interview, direct perception, activity note and also recording company of ranch. Data in field indicate that cage building in Popular Farm most of all using W type, what aim to be can load more population. passed to feed chicken represent result from mixing alone which is based to the protein content with rate 18% per ton  for the period of Grower and 19% per ton for the period of Layer. Giving of Feed, twice one day that is morning at 08.00 WIB counted 50% and daytime at 13.00 WIB counted 50%. Drinking water given ad libitum. Place feed form is " through feeder" long type  and place drink is " through drinker" made long type from PVC paralon pipe. Consume ransum at layer period between 115  -120 head/gr/day and its  mean 116 head/gr/day. Egg productivity in  Popular Farm have fulfilled standart that was about 93% ( Isa Brown pullet standart) in B1 cage, B2, H, I, J, K And L, because of given feed is goodness and have as according to requirement chicken nutrition. Abstract

Forage quality and are available continuously throughout the year is one important factor in the development of animal husbandry.   The potential is quite abundeant corn corp has not been optimally utilized as livestock feed.  The weakness of corn cobs as feed is a high fiber content (35 – 45%) and low protein levels (1,8 – 3,5%).  Amoniasi fermentation (Amofer) is one way of improving the quality of high-fiber feed ingredients are quite powerful.  The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of curing time on the fermentation process using biostarter (Biofad) on a cob of corn that had previously been amoniasi with high temperature (70°C) on the proximate content.  The results of proximate analysis of corn cobs with amofer treatment showed increased levels of crude protein and highest in long curing 2 weeks (34,20%), crude fat content (2,29%) higher than the fat content of coarse corn cobs controls (1,86%), crude fiber content of 25,43% on average much lower than control levels of crude fiber (34,78%), ash content increased significantly (3,11%  -  4,15%) and the average levels BETN 36,45% lower than the control corn cob (57,50%).  Old curing 2 weeks in the fermentation process gives the best result, because it has the highest protein content and low crude fiber and have long curing the fastest time. Abstract

The experiment was conducted to determine the effect of probiotics in diet on performance ( feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion) of ducks. Two  hundred  of  day  old  ducks  were  divided  into  five  dietary  treatments.  Each treatment was replicated four times with ten ducks per replicate. The five dietary treatments  were  P0  (diet  without  the  addition  of  probiotics),  P1  (diet  plus probiotics  5  ml/l),  P2  (diet  plus  probiotics  10  ml/l),  P3  (diet  plus  probiotics  15 ml/l) and  P4 (diet plus probiotics 20 ml/l). Five dietary treatments and drinking water  were  given  ad  libitum.  The  collected  data  were  analysed  using  analysis variance  of  completely  randomized  design  and  continued  by  Duncan’s  New Multiple  Range  Test  if  analysis  of  the  variance  indicated  significant  difference. The  result  showed  that  addition  of  probiotic  levels  in  diet  on  duck  was significantly different on weight gain and feed conversion ratio of duck. Diet with probiotic  15  ml/l  (P3)  resulted  good  performance  of  duck.  It  gave  an  average weight of 1,366 g, 2.07 feed conversion and feed consumtion 2,829 for six weeks.Keywords: Duck, Probiotic, Performance.
