Abstract

The objectives of the study was to obtain an effective concentration of B. bassiana to control pests of N. Viridula.  Experiment was performed at Laboratory of Pest, Agriculture Faculty, Syiah Kuala University Darussalam, Banda Aceh. The experiment used a  faktorial completely randomized design (CRD).  Factors evaluated were (1) concentration of B. bassiana consisting of three levels: 2 gL-1 distilled water, 4 gL-1 distilled water, and 6 gL-1 distilled water, and (2) stadia of N. viridula consisting of 2 levels: third instar nymphs and imago. Variable observed were incubation period, mortality of N. viridula, time of death, and percentage of feeding inhibition. The results showed that concentration of B. bassiana and stadia of N. viridula had no effect on incubation period of fungus B. bassiana. Concentration of B. bassiana affected mortality and time of death of nymph and imago N. viridula. Concentration of fungus B. bassiana affected percentage of feeding inhibition. In general, fungus B. bassiana had a high potential on controlling insect N. viridula.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             The objective of study was to determine the effective concentration of garlic extract in controlling S. zeamais on maize in storage. Concentrations of garlic extract tested were 2 percent, 4 percent, 6 percent, 8 percent, 10 percent, and 12 percent. The results showed that garlic extracts were potential as plant-based insecticide, indicated by a positive effect of garlic extract on S. zeamais mortality, the average time of S. zeamais death, the maize kernel damage and the number of S. zeamais progeny. Concentration of 12 percent gave the highest mortality rate of S. zeamais, the fastest average time of S. zeamais death, the lowest maize kernel damage and the lowest number of S. zeamais progeny, while the concentration of 2 percent gave the lowest mortality rate of  S. zeamais, the longest average time of S. zeamais death, the highest percentage of kernel damage, and the highest number of S. zeamais progeny.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out dosages of biofertilizer and manure which was the most effective to control bean fly (A. phaseoli). This research was carried out at Cot Cut Village, District of Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar, from September to December 2008. This research used a factorial randomized complete block design with two factors: biofertilizer (H) and manure (K).  Dosages of biofertilizer were H1= 2,8 L ha-1, H2= 3,5 L ha-1, H3= 4,2 L ha-1, and H4= 4,9 L ha-1. Dosages of manure fertilizer were K1= 2,8 ton ha-1,  K2= 5,6 ton ha-1 and K3= 8,4 ton ha-1.  The result showed that application of biofertilizer was more effective than that of manure fertilizer to percentage rates of the attacked plant. However, both biofertilizer and mature fertilizer exerted  significant effects to percentage of plant death, plant dwarf, number of larva and pupa, and dry seed weight per plant.  Application of biofertilizer at 4,9 L ha-1 and manure fertilizer at 8,4 ton ha-1 reduced  percentages of  plant death up to 86% and 83%, respectively.

Abstract

Compatibility of Spodoptera Litura Nuclear Polyhedrosis ViruS (SlNPV) With Tropical Yam (Dioscorea hispida Denst) Ekstract on Larvae Mortality Spodoptera litura Fab.ABSTRACT. Spodoptera litura is a polyphagus and primery pest on many plants. This insect can be infected by nuclear polyhedrosis virus (NPV) and tropical yam was knowingly capable of controlling the insect. The research was aimed at finding an effective concentration of combination of SlNPV and tropical yam extract on mortality of S. litura larva. The research was conducted in Plant Pest Laboratory of Plant Pest and Disease Departemen, Agriculture Faculty, Syiah Kuala University. The experiment applied a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of six treatments and four replications. The treatment were in SlNPV concentrations of 0, 3x105, 3x106, 3x107, 3x108, and 3x109 polyhedra inclusion body/ml respectively, combined with poisonous for gadung extract in concentration of 120 ml L-1. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at level of 0,05. The result showed that application of combination of SlNPV and tropical yam extract was effective and compatible in controlling S. litura. In general, mortality of S. litura was significantly different than control. Mortality of S. litura at all treatments of concentration except S1 and S0 were 100 per cent at 9,8,8, and 7 day after application (DAA). Average of the fastest larvae mortality was 5,46 days given by 3x109 polyhedra inclusion body ml L-1 and the longest was 7,38 days given by control. Treatments of combination of SlNPV and tropical yam extract at concentration of 3x107, 3x108, and 3x109 was compatible and effective in controlling S. litura larvae with mortality level of 85,95, and 100 per cent at 7 DAA, respectively.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Crocidolomia pavonana F. is an important pest on mustards. Damage caused by this pest could be 100 percent if not controlled. Objective of the research was to find an effective concentration of garlic extract to control C. pavonana F. The research was the conducted at Experimental Farm of Agriculture Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh. Treatments were arranged by Completely Randomized Block Design (CRD) non factorial with 7 level concentrations based on LC50 of 20.69 ml L-1 or 20.69 percent. The concentrations of treatment were 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 ml L-1 of water. The treatment was replication four times. The result showed that the garlic extracts were effective to control C. pavonana. Observation on larva mortality was carried out until the end of larva period of 3 day after application

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasalah pada penelitian ini adalah : apakah dengan menggunakan penerapan pembiasaan dapat mengembangkan perilaku sopan anak didik pada anak kelompok B1 TK Alkhairaat Tondo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah dengan menggunakan penerapan pembiasaan dapat mengembangkan perilaku sopan anak didik pada anak kelompok B1 di TK Alkhairaat Tondo yang berjumlah 20 orang anak didik. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil observasi terhadap anak didik dan dokumentasi terhadap anak didik atas penerapan pembiasaan yang dilakukan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perilaku sopan pada kelompok B1 TK Alkhairaat Tondo mengalami peningkatan. Pada aspek mengucapkan salam sebelum masuk kelas yang mendapat nilai sangat baik pra penelitian 15%, siklus I 35%, siklus II 75%, nilai cukup pra penelitian 25%, siklus I 15%, siklus II 5%, nilai kurang pra penelitian 40%, siklus I 25%, siklus II 5%. Aspek mau diajak bekerjasama dan peduli sama orang lain nilai sangat baik pra penelitian 10%, siklus I 25%, siklus II 75%, nilai cukup pra penelitian 20%, siklus I 15%, siklus II 10%, nilai kurang pra penelitian 50%, siklus I 35%, siklus II 10%. Pada aspek bersikap sopan, ramah dan saling menghormati pada orang lain yang mendapat nilai sangat baik pra penelitian 20%, siklus I 30%, siklus II 80%, nilai cukup pra penelitian 20%, siklus I 15%, siklus II 10%, nilai kurang pra penelitian 35%, siklus I 40%, siklus II tidak ada. Pada aspek sabar menunggu giliran yang mendapat nilai sangat baik pra penelitian 20%, siklus I 35%, siklus II 85%, nilai cukup pra penelitian 25%, siklus I 15%, siklus II 5%, nilai kurang pra penelitian 45%, siklus I 25%, siklus II tidak ada.Kata Kunci : Perilaku Sopan, Pembiasaan

Abstract

Dampak pergaulan bebas dikalangan remaja berpacaran mengantarkan pada kegiatan menyimpang seperti seks bebas sehingga mengakibatkan menularnya penyakit kelamin dan kehamilan diluar nikah yang pada akhirnya membawa pada tindakan abortus provokatus kriminalis.Abortus provokatus kriminalisdapat membawa dampak negatif baik secara fisik dan mental.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan dengan media video terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri tentang dampak abortus provokatus kriminalis di kelas X SMAN 2 Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pra eksperiment design dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test dan post-test design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden 75 orang.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 2 Gowa pada tanggal 31 Juli – 31 Agustus 2017.Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata nilai pengetahuan remaja putri saat pre-test adalah 19,19 dan rerata nilai pengetahuan saat post-test meningkat menjadi 22,43. Remaja putri dengan kategori meningkat ada 63 orang (84%), kategori tetap ada 12 orang (16%) dan tidak ada remaja putri dengan kategori menurun, Hasil analisis dengan uji statistic Wilcoxon didapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang dampak abortus provokatus kriminalis yaitu dengan nilai p value = 0,000 atau p<0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada peningkatan pengetahuan remaja putri kelas X SMAN 2 Gowa sesudah diberikan penyuluhan kesehatan melalui media video.Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, media video ini dapat menjadi salah satu media yang efektif digunakan dalam penyuluhan kesehatan.

Abstract

Abstrak. Crocidolomia pavonana (F.) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) adalah hama penting pada tanaman famili Brassicaceae. Hama ini menyerang daun bagian dalam yang terlindung hingga mencapai titik tumbuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menetukan konsentrasi yang efektif dari campuran ekstrak buah mahkota dewa dan kulit buah jeruk purut terhadap mortalitas dan perkembangan C. pavonana. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Hama Tumbuhan Program Studi Proteksi Tanaman dan Laboratorium Analisis Pangan Program Studi Teknologi Hasil Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Unsyiah. Penelitian dimulai sejak bulan April 2017 sampai dengan Mei 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola tunggal yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga diperoleh 24 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi campuran ekstrak buah mahkota dewa dan kulit buah jeruk purut berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas larva C. pavonana yaitu pada perlakuan aplikasi campuran ekstrak 1 g buah mahkota dewa + 1 g kulit buah jeruk purut sebesar 50%. Persentase penghambatan makan tertinggi terjadi pada aplikasi campuran ekstrak 0,5 g buah  mahkota dewa + 1,5 g kulit buah jeruk purut yaitu 74%, sedangkan persentase tertinggi pupa dan imago C. pavonana yang muncul terjadi pada masing-masing perlakuan aplikasi 2 g ekstrak buah mahkota dewa, yaitu 70%. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi campuran ekstrak buah mahkota dewa dan kulit buah jeruk purut lebih efektif dibandingkan aplikasi secara tunggal.The Effect of Mixed Fruit Phaleria ((Phaleria macrocarpa) and Kaffir Lime Pell (Citrus hystrix) Extracts to The Mortality and Growth of Crocidolomia pavonana (F.)Abstract. Crocidolomia pavonana (F.) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) is an important pest in the family plant Brassicaceae. This pest attacks the protected inner shell until it reaches its growing point. The purpose of this study was to determine the effective concentration of the extract of the fruit phaleria and the kaffir lime pell to the mortality and growth C. pavonana. This research has been carried out in Plant Pest Laboratory of Plant Protection Department and Food Analysis Laboratory of Food Technology Department Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah. The research was started from April 2017 until May 2017. The research used single randomized design method (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and repeated 4 times to obtain 24 units of experiment. The results showed that the application of the fruit phaleria and the kaffir lime pell extract had an effect on larvae mortality C. pavonana i.e on the treatment of the mixture application of 1 g of the fruit phaleria + 1 g the kaffir lime pell is 50%. The highest percentage of inhibition of eating occurred on the application of a mixture of extract 0.5 g fruit phaleria + 1.5 g  the kaffir lime pell is 74%, while the highest percentage of pupae and imago C. pavonana that occurs occur in each treatment application 2 g extract the fruit phaleria, which is 70%. Thus, the results showed that the application of the extract mixture of the fruit phaleria and the kaffir lime pell is more effective than single application.

Abstract

Crocidolomia binotalis is the main pest on broccoli by feeding the leaves causing damage by 100% (Dono &amp; Rismanto, 2008). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pests Department of Agrotechnology Faculty of Agriculture Univerrsity of Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh from January to December 2014. The aim was to investigate the effectiveness of mixture of extract of papaya leaf and castor beans on mortality of C. pavonana mortality. The study used completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the mortality of larvae has reached up to 90 % and feeding inhibition  was 91.04%, decrease in the pupae stage 56.67% and imago 46.67% compared to other lower treatments.

Abstract

Paradigma baru pembelajaran kita pahami bersama , banyak pandangan yang memberikan arah baru terhadap proses dan dimensi-dimensi  pendidikan yang semakin  mendorong terjadinya  perubahan konsep  dan cara pandang terhadap eksistensi pembelajaran sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai kerangka berpikir didalam memahami  lebih dalam persoalan persoalan pembelajaran. Dengan mengkaji paradigma alternatif pembelajaran ini para pendidik atau calon pendidik diharapkan dapat memandang suatu masalah, mengambil tindakan/keputusan yang terkait dengan pembelajaran secara arif sehingga upaya pengembangan potensi peserta didik sebagai muara dari seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran. Sehubungan dengan itu maka lembaga pendidikan harus bergeser untuk mengembangkan kultur pembelajaran yang holistik termasuk mengembangkan visi pendidikan yang jelas, konsisten, disertai dengan kepemimpinan yang dapat memberikan arah, memajukan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, mengembangkan masyarakat pembelajaran, mendorong munculnya iklim belajar yang demokratis dimanapun jugaf dan secara sadar mengembangkan  proses sosialisasi profesional, baik  dikalangan guru maupun siswa. Kata Kunci: Paradigma, Baru, Pendidikan  masa depan, dan holistik.
