Abstract

Starch gel electrophoresis was used to assess the level and distribution ofgenetic variation in humpback grouper, Cromileptes altiuelis sampled from 4 different areas of coral reefs in Raas and Kangean located in Madura as well as Sangeang and Bungin located in Sumbawa regions, between December 1997 and March 1998.

Abstract

As part of a search for biochemical genetic markers for tiger shrimp, Penuuemorndon, wild shrimp were collected from the coastal waters of Aceh, Bali and Sumbawa, (Nusa Tenggara Barat).

Abstract

Alteromonas sp. (coded as BY-9) bacterium isolated from the coastal water of Gondol Bali, Indonesia was purified and mass produced, then inoculated into the rearing media of penaeus monodon farvae as a probiotic agent.
