Abstract

The central point of Imlek’s celebration is ritual. The ritual of Imlek lasts for 21 days. It begins with a prayer to The God of the Kitchen and is ended by Lampion Festival. The main purposes of all rituals in Imlek are to achieve prosperity, serenity, and happiness. For Langer, ritual is a kind of symbol. Ritual is an actualization of human expression because the relation between human and symbol is essential and integral. This expression forms a certain pattern. Then, that pattern forms a role making that makes each person who wants join it must follow that pattern. Later, this pattern forms a ritual. In this research, the ritual is an expression of gratitude. People who celebrate Imlek offer thanksgiving to God (Thian). This gratitude also contains of hope, namely the blessing of Thian in the coming year. An important part of this act is a lively celebration which is performed in such away that people can experience and feel the gratitute.

Abstract

Abstrak: penelitian ini di lakukan pada kelas IX SMP Koprasi. Masalah umumnya “apakah terdapat hubungan pemamfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IX  Sekolah Menengah Pertama Koprasi Pontianak. adapun sub-sub masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah. Apakah setiap siswa yang berkunjung ke perpustakaan benar-benar memamfaatkan perpustakaan sebagai tempat sumber untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar guna meningkatkan hasil belajar?.Apakah terdapat hubungan pemamfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Koperasi Pontianak”.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data adalah siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 40 siswa, dan dokumentasi sekolah. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik komunikasi langsung, komunikasi tidak langsung, dan teknik studi dokumen. Sedangkan alat pengumpulan datanya adalah pedoman wawancara, angket, pengamatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan hipotesis nol (Ho) yaitu Tidak terdapat hubungan  antara Pemanfaatan Perpustakaaan Sekolah Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IX Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Sekolah Menengah Pertama Koprasi Pontianak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yaitu Terdapat hubungan antara Pemamfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah Dengan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IX Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pendidikan Sosial SMP Koperasi Pontianak.Dari pengolahan data melalui perhitungan korelasi product moment pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dengan hasil belajar yang menunjukan r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel yaitu 5,61>0,312.   Kata Kunci : Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah, Hasil Belajar.   Abstract: the result held at SMP Koperasi Pontianak class IX the general problem is what does relation the usefull of school library between the result of study for students class IX at SMP koprasi pontianak . Sub problems this research is what are every students visi at library to using as a source to fulfil the lesson to merease their result of study? What does have a relation of school library between the result of study for students at SMP Koprasi pontianak class IX?. This research used descriftive method. Source of date is students class IX the are 40 students as a sample and then school of documentation. Then, tools of date collection is interview of indicator, angket and observation sheet. This research used nol hypothesis (Ho) is there is no relation between the usefull of school library with the result of students clas IX sociolgy science at SMP Koprasi Pontianak and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is there is relation  between usefull school library with the result of students class IX sociology science at SMP Koprasi Pontianak. Besed on the analysis of date by corelation of calculation product moment usefull school library with the result of study showed r sum nigher then r table thet is 5,61 > 0,312.   Keyword: usefull of school library, result of study
