Abstract

This research includes isolation of flavonoid Torosflavon D from Cassia Torosa, mediaformulation for pathogenic fungi growth, regeneration of pathogenic fungi, and bioactivity test of theisolated flavonoid on some pathogenic fungi. The flavonid bioactivities tests indicate that theTorosflavon D (5ppm) only effective to inhibit the radial growth of Fusarium oxysporum fsp.Lycopersici (48.75%). Statistical test (anova) indicates that concentration of the flavonid significantlyinhibit the fungi radial growth. Duncan test proves that 5 ppm concentration of Torosflavon D 5inhibits the growth of Fusarium oxysporum fsp. Lycopersici colonies optimally.

Abstract

This reserach aims to develop a new fungicide formula with active agent Eusiderin I toinhibit Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici that causing fusarium wilt on tomato. This researchincludes isolation Eusiderin I from bulian wood, growing potato in green house, reproduction ofFusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici, eusiderin I stability test, bioacitivity test of the Fusarium in agreen house. This research succesfuly formulates an emulsifiable concentrate fungicide with activematerial Eusiderin I. The fungicide formula is composed of active material, solvent, and emulsifier.Eusiderin I 3 ppm proves the highest efication, indicated by only a tomato plant dead in eachtreatment (p<0.05). It was concluded that . fungicide with active content Eusiderin I on 3, 4, and 10ppm affect on the number of survived tomato plants. The efication degree of this fungicide on 3, 4,5, and 10 ppm is not significantly different.

Abstract

This research is based on existing problems at school in developing student creativity. Lack of student involvement in the learning process so that students are not aroused to think, behave, and behave creatively. Applying the right learning model is one alternative to overcome the problem. One of the learning models that can be applied is the learning cycle 5e. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning cycle 5e learning model and its effect on students creativity on reaction rate material in class XI MIA SMAN 9 Kota Jambi. The research type is descriptive correlation with concurrent embedded design. The sampling technique was done by random sampling. The instrument used is model observation sheet model by teacher and student as well as student creativity and test result of learning. Hypothesis testing used is product moment correlation test. which further seen the significance of its influence with t test. Based on the result of data processing, the percentage of learning cycle absorption by teacher is 5,5% (good) and 70,31% (good). Percentage of creativity of student equal to 62,43% (good enough) and test result of student learning equal to 70,17% (good). The relationship between learning cycle model 5e and creativity of students is obtained by rxy = 0,4676 with relation on strong category and t test is 3.04, so the research hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that there is influence of the implementation of learning cycle 5e model to student creativity on the material of reaction rate of class XI MIA 3 SMAN 9 Jambi City

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PBL model and its effect on students' critical thinking ability on the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution. The design used in this study is One Shot Case Study is to observe teachers and students at each meeting. The sampling technique used is simple purposive sampling. Instrument of research in the form of observation sheet of PBL model implementation by teacher or student and observation sheet of students' critical thinking ability. The implementation of PBL learning model by teachers is categorized very well with the average percentage of 87.96% and students 84.59%, and students' critical thinking ability of 79% with good category. The result of linear regression test using product moment obtained r =0,723 with relation level on strong category, significance value 0,000 <0,05 meaning there is significant correlation. Then t test with tcount> ttable (10,152>2,032) and significance value (Sig.) 0,00 <0,05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the implementation of PBL on students' critical thinking ability on the material of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution in class X MIA MAN Model Jambi.

Abstract

Saat ini media pembelajaran multimedia berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah banyak dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai bentuk pengembangan media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan dapat menarik minat, perhatian dan motivasi belajar bagi para peserta didik. Namun yang menjadi salah kendala adalah kurang dikuasainya teknologi pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis TIK oleh para pengajar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu kegiatan guna meningkatkan kualitas profesional dan kreativitas guru dalam mengembangkan multimedia.Metode  yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini demonstrasi dan praktek pembuatan multimedia menggunakan software 3D Pageflip Professional serta penugasan bagi guru-guru untuk membuat sebuah media pembelajaran hasil kreativitas peserta dan di akhir kegiatan para peserta akan diberikan penilaian hasil evaluasi produk dan respon peserta terhadap kebermanfaatan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, bahwa para guru rata-rata memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik dengan skor 89,63 dalam memahami urgensi pengembangan media pembelajaran, mampu membuat media pembelajaran, mengenal fungsi program, dapat memasukkan teks dan menyisipkan objek movie, sound dan gambar ke ruang template 3D Pageflip Professional. Selanjutnya berdasar hasil angket, rata-rata guru memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik dengan skor sebesar 82,67 karena melalui kegiatan ini para peserta memperoleh manfaat berupa pengetahuan tentang operasionalisasi program dan uji kreativitas guru dalam membuat desain pengembangan media sebagai bahan ajar.

Abstract

The assessment process aspects of the scientific attitude and process skills in the practicum schools have not been conducted in detail. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to develop assessment instruments process skills and scientific attitude as well as whether the instrument developed is feasible for use. This research aims to develop assessment instruments process skills and scientific attitude to determine the feasibility of assessment instruments in measuring the ability of psychomotor and affective learners in the practicum through the validation of experts and the assessment of the teachers of SMAN 10 Kota Jambi. This study uses the development model of Dick and Carey, which consists of 10 stages. The stage that is focused in this study are as follows: (5) develop assessment instruments, (8) design and develop formative evaluation, (9) make revisions to the assessment instrument, (10) designing and developing the summative evaluation. The product of the assessment instruments were validated by a team of experts. Assessment instruments have the validity of the content that meets the criteria of ?very good? based on the results of validation experts with the average score of the validation 4,40 and 4,20. In addition the assessment instruments has the criteria of ?very strong? which means assessment instruments that have been developed are positive with a percentage of the value of the response of the teacher namely 86,67%.Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that the assessment instrument process skills and attitudes. Scientific on lab determination of enthalpy of reaction based on the calorimeter feasible to use. In the implementation of product testing, teachers have difficulty in conducting the assessment because the assessment carried out must observe the learners one by one.To advice, in doing trials of this product, it takes the observer to help the teacher do the assessment and to research the development of next expected can do product testing large groups.

Abstract

The use of models in the learning activities will affect the success of the process and results of learning activities. The learning Model used in schools is the learning model which is still centered on the teacher. A learning system such as this makes students not yet play an active role in the learning process, so it is not the invisibility of the character of each student. One of the efforts made to help students play an active role in the learning process so that it can be influential to student learning outcomes such that by applying cooperative learning model. One of them is cooperative learning model type of Make-A Macth. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of the application of cooperative learning model type Make A Macth against the learning outcomes of students of class X SMA PGRI 2 Jambi City in the material of the electrolyte solution and nonelektrolit. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design with design posttest control Group Design and sample collection techniques in the raffle. Data collection techniques performed by using the test the ability of student learning outcomes. On the data analysis conducted on the results of the final test, obtained t count = 10,23 and ttable = 1.67 with o? = 5% and dk = because tcount > ttable,according to the criteria of the test, then H0 is rejected, means accepting Ha. Obtained the average value in the experimental class at the time of the final test is 82,02 and in the control class obtained value of the average of 65,14. So this suggests that the ability of student learning outcomes is high or better in the experimental class than the control class. The conclusion from this study is that there is influence of the application of the model Make-A Macth against the learning outcomes of students of class X SMA PGRI 2 Jambi City in the material of the electrolyte solution and nonelektrolit where the ability learning outcomes of students taught using the model of the Make-A Macth is better than on the learning outcomes of students taught using learning model directly (Direct Interaction).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together dan  pengaruhnya  terhadap  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis  pada materi larutan penyangga siswa kelas XI MIA SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian  ini  merupakan  jenis  penelitian  deskriptif  korelasional  dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar  observasi  aktivitas  guru  dan  siswa  serta  tes  kemampuan berpikir  kritis  siswa.  Untuk  melihat  pengaruh  keterlaksanaan  model  pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe  NHT  dengan  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis  siswa  dilakukan  uji signifikansi dengan uji t. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together oleh  siswa sebesar  70,83%  dikategorikan  baik,  dan  persentase  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis siswa    sebesar    70,47%    dikategorikan    baik.    Hubungan    keterlaksanaan    model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh rxy = 0,86294 dengan tingkat hubungan sangat kuat. Uji signifikansi dilakukan dengan uji t dengan  diperoleh  thitung    >  ttabel  (9,660  >  2,036)  dengan  dk  =  32  dan  ?  =  0.05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha  diterima. Berdasarkan   hasil   penelitian, keterlaksanaan   model   pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe  Number Heads Together  berjalan  dengan  baik  dan  terdapat  pengaruh  keterlaksanaan model  pembelajaran  kooperatif  tipe  Number Heads Together  terhadap  kemampuan  berpikir  kritis siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI MIA 2 SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi.   Kata kunci: Model Number Heads Together, Berpikir Kritis dan Larutan Penyangga
