Abstract

Various learning methods have been developed and can be divided into two major groups, namely the method based Teacher Centered Learning or known as the traditional approaches and teaching methods are based on Student Centered otherwise known as innovative approaches (SPICES approaches). SPICES is an acronym of (1) Student-centered, (2) Problem-based, (3) Integrated, (4) Community-based (Consumer-based), (5) Elective; and (6) Systematic. SPICES can be viewed as an advanced learning concepts and innovative and able to cope with problems that arise in relation to student learning. This concept was initiated by Harden, et al in 1984 and is widely practiced and developed in medical education. Therefore, the researchers tried to initiate a study to obtain a mathematical learning model that effectively and efficiently. SPICES is considered by the researchers were able to bridge the problems faced by teachers in relation to the hang of students. The objective of this study is a class IX SMPN I Poncokusumo. Selection of study subjects based on criteria such as academic ability of students is heterogeneous, the son of a passive more than active in class, and the daily tests that the average is still below 6. Kata Kunci : Volume bola, Pendekatan pembelajaran spices

Abstract

Penyelesaian masalah matematika di kelas khususnya barisan bilangan menunjukkan situasi yang tidak kreatif. Anak tidak mencari penyelesaian masalah, melainkan menghapal prosedur penyelesaian. Situasi ini menjadikan anak tidak dapat menunjukkan kreativitas penyelesaian masalah barisan bilangan. Ini berarti anak tidak mampu berpikir outside the box. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan berpikir outside the box mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah barisan bilangan. Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode think alouds, wawancara, dan pengamatan. Adapun kegiatan analisis data kualitatif pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara bersamaan (simultan) dengan proses pengumpulan data, interpretasi, dan pelaporan hasil. Penyelesaian masalah oleh subyek penelitian diuraikan melalui sudut pandang transformasi dalam berpikir outside the box. Transformasi dalam berpikir outside the box diuraikan dengan menggunakan deskripsi 4 tahapan yaitu klarifikasi, inferensi, evaluasi, dan aplikasi. Penelitian ini penting bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk menjadikan berpikir outside the box sebagai input informasi tentang jenis karakteristik berpikir.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi pada siswa kelas VII-B SMP PGRI 6 Malang menyebabkan siswa bosan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga siswa cenderung menjadi pendengar saja. Hal ini mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa tidak sesuai dengan KKM yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu digunakan metode pembelajaran menarik yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematikapada siswa kelas VII-B SMP PGRI 6 Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-B SMP PGRI 6 Malang dan peneliti yang bertindak sebagai guru. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi tes tulis, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase ketuntasanhasil belajar matematika meningkat dari 63,6% siswa yang tuntas pada siklus I menjadi 83,3% siswa yang tuntas pada siklus II.Dengan demikian, peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 19,7%,sehingga terbukti bahwa model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

PT Bumi Borneo Perkasa (BBP) is a mining contractors company. process of mining needs help of  heavy equipment. PT BBP has heavy equipment about 150 units. in Condition, the heavy equipment of PT Bumi Perkasa Burneo often damaged because it was late in the replacement of spare parts, and delayed in obtaining a license for heavy equipment, and no reports for maintenance costs of each heavy equipment.The solution the above problems is designing and building maintenance applications of heavy equipment at PT BBP using SDLC method With the first stage is communication, planning, construction modeling. The results based from the application trials, maintenance applications of heavy equipment  has been made can solve the problem in the division of heavy equipment. This Application generate alert of  replacement spare parts by regularly, give an alert to renew permits heavy equipment and provide maintenance cost  reports of each Heavy equipment. maintenance applications of heavy equipment save the data of heavy equipment,  spare parts and heavy equipment license.

Abstract

Cognitive problems in children with autism involve teaching materials. Textbooks for autis children use the 2013 curriculum reference. In learning, teachers do not have special worksheets for autis children. The teacher uses textbooks for elementary school students. The teacher must copy the sheets in the textbook to be taught to autis children. Of course this is not effective and efficient. The implementation of this community service program is intended to help resolve partner issues. Servants deliver solutions to partners. The solution is in the form of providing learning materials for Student Worksheets that are appropriate to the cognitive needs of autis children. Worksheets contains a color drawing design to help facilitate the understanding of autis children. The combination of images and colors is intended to attract the attention of autis children, so autis children want to provide themselves for learning. This method of community service is carried out using collaborative methods with mentors. Implementation methods include preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities. In the preparation stage, the servant coordinates with the companion about the design of the student Worksheet. During the implementation phase, the servants with mentor joint compile the Student Worksheet. Servants carry out product validation to find out the level of feasibility. Furthermore, the service performs a trial using the Student Worksheet. The trial was carried out by observing the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of Student Worksheets in learning by a mentor. In the evaluation phase of the program implementation, the servant receives input and advice from the mentor to improve the Student Worksheet. Student Worksheets make it easy for facilitators to teach students.

Abstract

Improving Students' Learning Outcomes on Social Arithmetic Material Through Teams Games Tournament Learning Model. This study aims to describe the TGT learning steps that can improve the learning outcomes of social arithmetic material in class VII of PGRI 01 Singosari Middle School. This research is qualitative research with a type of classroom action research (CAR). Data sources were students of class VII D SMP PGRI 01 Singosari as many as 27 students. The procedure for collecting data in this study are (1) Observation, (2) Tests, and (3) Documentation. Stages of data analysis include reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Examination of the validity of the data used includes (1) persistence of observation, (2) triangulation, and (3) peer examination. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher and student activity from pre-action to action I and action II. The observation results of teacher activities in action I reached a percentage of 86.23%, in action II, it increased to 95.45% with a very good category. Furthermore, the observation results of student activities in action I reached a percentage of 79.3% and in action II, it increased to 91.73%. The percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in pre-action was 40.74%, the percentage of completeness of action I was 66.67%, and the percentage of completeness of action II was 85.18%. Thus the increase in learning outcomes from the action I to action II is 18.51%.

Abstract

For some ordered subset W = {w1, w2, ⋯, wt} of vertices in connected graph G, and for some vertex v in G, the metric representation of v with respect to W is defined as the t-vector r(v∣W) = {d(v, w1), d(v, w2), ⋯, d(v, wt)}. The set W is the resolving set of G if for every two vertices u, v in G, r(u∣W) ≠ r(v∣W). The metric dimension of G, denoted by dim(G), is defined as the minimum cardinality of W. Let G be a connected graph on n vertices. The thorn graph of G, denoted by Th(G, l1, l2, ⋯, ln), is constructed from G by adding li leaves to vertex vi of G, for li ≥ 1 and 1 ≤ i ≤ n. The subdivided-thorn graph, denoted by TD(G, l1(y1), l2(y2), ⋯, ln(yn)), is constructed by subdividing every li leaves of the thorn graph of G into a path on yi vertices. In this paper the metric dimension of thorn of complete graph, dim(Th(Kn, l1, l2, ⋯, ln)), li ≥ 1 are determined, partially answering the problem proposed by Iswadi et al . This paper also gives some conjectures for the lower bound of dim(Th(G, l1, l2, ⋯, ln)), for arbitrary connected graph G. Next, the metric dimension of subdivided-thorn of complete graph, dim(TD(Kn, l1(y1), l2(y2), ⋯, ln(yn)) are determined and some conjectures for the lower bound of dim(Th(G, l1(y1), l2(y2), ⋯, ln(yn)) for arbitrary connected graph G are given.

Abstract

The community capacity building program in reducing disaster risk aims to realize the Bandung Rejo village as a disaster resilient village. Efforts made to achieve community capacity building include: (1) institutional aspects through the establishment of Disaster Risk Management forums (DRR) and Community Disaster Preparedness Teams (CDPT), (2) aspects of capacity building through dissemination and training in the preparation of disaster management plans and contingency plans , (3) aspects of the implementation of disaster management through a program to create a threat map and create disaster warning signs. The establishment of DRR and CDPT forums has a strategic role in minimizing disaster risk. The results achieved from the socialization and training were the availability of Bandung Rejo village disaster risk analysis document. The document can be a reference in making development policies in the village. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the forum that Bandung Rejo village had a flood hazard level in the medium category. The results of identification and analysis obtained two flood-prone points that were able to reach agricultural land and facilities and infrastructure facilities. The implementation of community capacity building programs in Bandung Rejo village can provide stimulus to local governments and the public about the importance of disaster anticipation.
