Abstract

Abstract: The Development of Sustainable Economics Education for Senior High Schools. The focus of this first-year research of a multi-year study is portraying the implementation of economics education at senior high schools in East Java. Employing a survey design, this study involved 69 econom­ics teachers. Interviews and questionnaires were utilized to obtain data concerning whether the practice of economics teaching reflects sustainable education. Existing relevant documents were also examined to provide supporting evidence. The findings show that sustainable economics education is not evident yet in the teachers teaching practice as can also be seen from the curriculum, teachers subject-matter understanding, teaching and learning processes, textbooks, and school atmosphere. These findings then become the basis for developing a model of sustainable economics education. Abstrak: Pengembangan Pendidikan Ekonomi Berkelanjutan untuk Sekolah Menengah Atas. Tujuan penelitian tahap pertama dari penelitian multi tahun ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang potret pelaksanaan pembelajaran ekonomi berkelanjutan di SMA  Jawa Timur. Melalui penelitian survai, data dikumpulkan dari 69 orang guru ekonomi SMA dengan cara wawancara dan penyebaran angket serta dukungan data dokumentasi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan ekonomi berkelanjutan di SMA belum terlaksana. Belum terlaksananya hal tersebut tercermin pada muatan isi kurikulum, pemahaman dan kesiapan guru, inovasi proses pembelajaran, kondisi buku ajar, dan penataan suasana sekolah. Melihat kondisi tersebut diperlukan langkah perbaikan dengan segera melalui pengembangan pendidikan ekonomi berkelanjutan dengan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model Jigsaw with the concept map, cooperative learning model Jigsaw without a concept map, and the direct instruction model with a review of the scientific attitude of students towards learning achievement. This type of research was a quasi-experimental research with 3x3 factorial designs. This research was implemented in the month of September 2013 to November 2013. The X grade students of Senior High School in Kudus Regency with 2013/2014 academic year was the population of this research. The instrument used to collect the data were UAN, scientific attitude questionnaire, and mathematics achievement tests with the topic of quadratic equation in the form of multiple choice. Test requirements include test data analysis used Lilliefors test for normality and homogeneity test used the Bartlett test. Analysis of the data used two-way variance with unbalanced cells. The conclusion of this study were: (1) cooperative learning model Jigsaw with the concept map has better mathematics learning achievement than the cooperative learning model Jigsaw without a concept map and the direct instruction model, the cooperative learning model Jigsaw without a concept map has mathematics learning achievement as good as the direct instruction model; (2) the high scientific attitude students have better mathematics learning achievement than the medium and low  scientific attitude students, the medium scientific attitude student have mathematics learning achievement as good as the low scientific attitude students; (3) there is no interaction between learning model to the level of scientific attitude of students towards mathematics learning achievement; (4) there is no difference between the learning achievement of students in each level of the scientific attitude for each learning model.Keywords: cooperative learning model , Jigsaw , concept maps , scientific attitude

The research aims to determine the influence of application simulation based learning toward understanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach to research methods of experimental type of pre-experimental form one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek in this research were students in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year as many as four students. Data collection techniques in this research is an objective test in multiple choice. Data analysis techniques in this research is the analysis of non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank test (Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test) using SPSS versi 22. From the result of calculations using SPSS versi 22, the known value of the average posttest research sample increased. Descriptive analysis result obtained by the average value of 77,5 posttest greater than the value pretest 57,5. Non-parametric analysis result obtained count value Z= -2,000 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,046 at significance level (α) of 5%. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that effect of application simulation based learning is positive toward understanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year.
