Abstract

As one of the institutions in education, STIKOM Surabaya also had evaluation of learning outcomes that is Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) and Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS). One of the purpose is to evaluate student learning outcomes of a course for one semester. For students, the results of UTS and the UAS is also one determinant of whether they graduated or not from the course they follow. For teachers, student test results can also be a reference for monitoring the level of student material understanding. From the results of evaluation classes, professors or teachers can monitor the success of the delivery of material in class. In addition, lecturers can also compare the results of his/her class with another parallel class. However, at present, there is no application or system that aims to compare the results of examinations per subject material between parallel classes. This application or system was built to analyze the results of class evaluations to determine the level of success topics material. The application also produces comparisons of evaluation results between parallel classes with the Kruskal-Wallis test. From the implementation and evaluation that has been done, the application can display the score comparison per topic material. By using the Kruskal-Wallis test, this application can display comparison information about mastery of the material between parallel classes. From the results of Kruskal-Wallis test we know whether there are significant differences in the mastery of the material between parallel classes, so the successful delivery of material between parallel classes as possible can be controlled. Abstract

PT Dua Daya Sakti is a company engaged in the development of property, especially housing and home stores. One of the mission that must be achieved by the company is to provide the best service and prioritize customer satisfaction by always trying to finish the job on time. Every operational and development activity, the financial department must know each income and expense of each department for the recording of the company's cash flow. Every financial transaction will be recorded in the data processing application that is Microsoft Excel. The amount of data that needs to be processed and not integrated data on the operational departments and finance departments, resulting in the availability of data required for the preparation of financial statements has not been maximized. Based on these problems, there is a gap between one of the company's mission to be achieved with the current condition of the company. The solution offered is to utilize information technology that is making financial administration information system. The test results show that this information system can produce financial reports from transaction processing system.

Abstract

Bharata Sport & Fashion is a company act in the sales of sports equipment and sports clothing which was built in 1986 on Jl. Ngurah Rai no.36, Jembrana Bali This company currently has some problems namely: 1) bonus counting process, work performance and making report of Salesmen performance that are still done manually that leads to a delay in reporting process and there is a risk to lost the data because it was saved in Ms Excel. 2) reservation process is still using telephone as a communication media and the reservation record is written in the notebook. This proses needs a lot of budget. 3)  this company has difficulty in monitoring their Salesmen in some branches of the company because one and another are located in long distance. The solution offered for covering those problems are making an application of Salesmen performance that included to make the visiting schedule, to report the visiting result, to record the customer’s reservation and to calculate bonus and salesman performance. The result of this essay show that application can help do generate sales report, the monitoring of Salesmen performance, counting the bonus, and this application can show the graphic of sales, bonus, salesman performance in each branch office.

Abstract

In developing countries where population grows rapidly, air pollution has been a serious issue for the public health. Among various pollutants, fine particulate matters (PM2.5) is associated with distinct serious health problems, e.g., asthma, cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. To raise the awareness of the community and decision makers in order to solve the air-pollution problem, the level of the PM2.5 index should be monitored. In this paper, we propose a dashboard system for monitoring air pollution based on PM2.5. A portable device (i.e., Edimax Airbox) was installed inside the building of Stikom Surabaya college to measure the PM2.5 level. The sensors in this device read the PM2.5 level, air temperature, and humidity level, and then it transmits the data to the cloud service. The cloud platform makes the collected data accessible through an open data API that allows our system to interact with the data in the JSON format. The data then was parsed in a web server and visualized in a dashboard system. The dashboard system provides two indicators, the live PM2.5 sensor measurement and the measurement history. The dashboard successfully visualized the indicator of air pollution index, based on PM2.5 standards by WHO and Dinas Kesehatan Indonesia (the Indonesian Department of Health).  Within seven days of the study, PM2.5 level reaches the maximum value of 65 µg/m3 with the average value of 39.36 µg/m3 on July 8, 2018. This is an alarming rate given that the indoor average level threshold of PM2.5 by WHO is 25 µg/m3.

Abstract

UD. Galarasa adalah industri rumahan yang bergerak di bidang produksi makanan ringan dengan produk “Kacang Aneh”. Perusahaan ini mempunyai visi menjadi penyedia produk makanan ringan yang sehat untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Sehat dengan mengacu pada standar menteri kesehatan melalui sertifikasi P-IRT, dan Halal dengan mengacu pada standar LPPOM MUI melalui setifikasi halal. Proses sertifikasi sehat dan halal dapat dengan mudah dilakukan jika perusahaan mempunyai standard operating procedure (SOP). Metode yang digunakan dalam IbM ini adalah dengan membuat modul pelatihan, memberikan pelatihan, dan memberikan penugasan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dokumen dan proses bisnis perusahaan. Pelatihan dan penugasan ini mampu mengubah proses dan perilaku individu dan organisasi mengacu pada mutu dan keamanan pangan, serta meningkatkan wawasan individu tentang pengelolaan perusahaan secara modern sesuai dengan sistem manajemen mutu.

Abstract

Production scheduling is one of the most important aspect that ensures the business process of a company running smoothly, as well as in CV Tidar Jaya. CV Tidar Jaya in its business has not utilized any production scheduling schemes, it can be seen from their frequent delay of the order completion. The Problem is mainly because they always prioritized special order without looking at which order came first. In addition to that, they only used rough estimation about the completion time without exact calculation. To improve their business processes, we build a production scheduling system using the Earliest Due Date (EDD) method which is able to calculate the date of order completion and to minimize delay. CV Tidar Jaya also uses non-technical factors that are used as reference for calculating the engine machine start up time schedule, machine rest time and production materials time readiness. By using the EDD method, job that has an earliest deadline will be prioritize. Using this scheduling system, CV Tidar Jaya is able to produce information of finishing order time and optimize production scheduling in such a way that the delay can be minimized.

Abstract

The workshop is one of the places where vehicles such as motor cars and placed with a variety of needs, as well as damage repair. In addition the workshop also is one of the best places to put a motor vehicle such as car and motorcycle. The service processes that occur at the workshop in synch motor still experience barriers when conducting registration service. Customers who will do the service has always been considered a new customer, the current registration process are still recorded manually.The solution to the above problem by creating an architecture application acceptance service motorcycle repair workshop on the functioning of the motor aligned to process data reception service.This application helps the process of administration of operational activities include: managing the master data includes the data, users, categories, products, services, brands, customers, motor motorcycle customers. managing transaction data covering transactions service start process, service, service, service close to the finish. Expected by the existence of this application can help management and employees in carrying out operational activities and monitoring so as to improve pelanyanan at the workshop. Keywords: Applications, Workshop, Service Improvement.

Abstract

Development and Application of Information Technology (PPTI) is one part in the Institute of Business and Informatics Stikom Surabaya (Stikom). PPTI has the responsibility to develop and implement Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Stikom Surabaya. PPTI has a wide range of services provided to users. However, PPTI still have not had a service catalogue. Service catalogue is needed to control and evaluate the services provided to users. Based on these problems, it is necessary to make a service design draft to meet the needs of the service catalogue. The service design is based on Service Design standard in the framework of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3). This research resulted in the business impact analysis document, service policy, the service description and service catalogue. The resulting document will be useful as a reference to control and evaluate the services provided to users.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Magma Chain is a chain and conveyor maker company located in Demak, Central Java. PT Indonesia Magma Chain already invested in system and information technology (SIT) to manage reservations and sales transactions. But it can not run well, because the company is not doing a good plan at the time of SIT investment, such as providing applications that can not accommodate the needs and business procces of the PT Indonesia Magma Chain. Based on the above issues, the planning indentifying of the SIT requirements at PT Indonesia Magma Chain using method from John Ward and Joe Peppard, and SWOT analysis that will produce an application portfolio that is divided into 4 quadrants of McFarlan Strategic Grid and a road map of the SIT for 2 years starting from 2017 to 2018.
