Abstract

This classroom action research aims to ascertain the nationality growth of the attitude in Citizenship Education by using a model of problem-based learning in civics. This type of research is a classroom action research which is done to increase the student’s nationality, the strengths and weaknesses of teachers and students in the learning process. The results that obtained show that Problem based learning can foster student’s nationality attitudes and Problem based learning can foster the creativity of the teachers. In the first cycle, 20 students have the nationality attitude with an average value of 62 % . The second cycle shows the enhancement of the 24 students with an average value 74 % and the nationality attitude of the third cycle keep growing up, 28 students with an average value of   86 % from 32 students overall.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan sikap Kebangsaan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas yang dilakukan untuk menumbuhkan  sikap  kebangsaan siswa, kekurangan dan kelebihan guru, serta siswa  dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning  dapat menumbuhkan  sikap kebangsaan siswa dan model problem based learning dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas guru. Pada siklus I, 20 siswa  memiliki sikap kebangsaan dengan rata-rata nilai 62%, siklus II menunjukan pertumbuhan yaitu 24 siswa  atau rata-rata nilai  74%, dan pertumbuhan sikap kebangsaan siswa  semakin meningkat pada sisklus III, yaitu 28 siswa dengan rata rata  nilai 86 %  dari jumlah peserta didik secara keseluruhan yaitu 32 siswa. Kata kunci: pkn, problem based learning, sikap kebangsaan

Abstract

            This study aims to determine risk calculation and rate of return PNM Amanah Sharia and PNM Dana Sejahtera II, and to provide empirical evidences that there are between the performance of sharia mutual fund and sharia index (JII index), between the performance of conventional mutual fund and conventional index LQ45 index), and also between the performance of sharia mutual fund and conventional mutual fund. It applies descriptive method with comparative study, and uses statistical analysis such as independent sample t-test, paired sample t-rest, and simple regression analysis to rest the hypotheses. Data is in the form of net asset value per unit of participation (NAV/unit), Combined Stock Price Index (IHSG), Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), daily LQ45 Index ,the interest rate of Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBI), and Wadiah Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SWBI) or Certificate of Bank Indonesia sharia (SBIS).            The results of the first hypothesis shows that from 2008 to 2010 the average of return of sharia mutual fund and JII sharia index is identical or similar, but the average of risk of those variables is vice versa. Second hypothesis yields that from 2008 to 2010 the average of return of conventional mutual fund and conventional LQ45 index is identical or similar, but the average of risk of conventional mutual fund and conventional LQ45 index is vice versa. While, the third hypothesis results from 2008 to 2010 the average of return and risk of sharia mutual fund and conventional mutual fund is identical or similar except in 2010, the average of risk of the variables is not identical or similar. Based on Sharpe index figures, Treynor index, and Jensen Index, the third hypothesis indicates that the performance of sharia mutual fund is better than the performance of conventional mutual fund. Then, through Jensen model this hypothesis also yields the performance of sharia mutual fund is better than the market performance and the conventional mutual fund so that it can be concluded the higher the excess of market return, the higher the excess of return of mutual fund portfolio and vice versa, by assuming the other variables are constant. Abstract

Abstract. This thesis background by the limitations of the board of KKG, these limitations can be seen from the human resources is minimal, because most teachers of Islamic education in elementary schools would not be a caretaker select KKG, further involvement KKG administrators and teachers of Islamic education are less coordinated one each other so that the work program does not involve teachers of Islamic education. In addition, the perception of Islamic education teachers to KKG only a gathering of teachers. Thus the focus of the problem in this study were (1) How the Implementation of Teachers Working Group (KKG) PAI in State Primary School Cluster District of Payaraman ?; (2) How Kedesiplinan Islamic Education Teachers in following activities Teachers Working Group (KKG PAI) District of Payaraman ?; (3) How pedagogical competence of teachers in the State Primary School PAI Force District of Payaraman?The study was descriptive qualitative research respondents of 16 people, consisting of five principals and 11 teachers PAI. Data collection tool was an interview, observation and documentation. While the descriptive data analysis techniques.The study aims to determine the Implementation of Teachers Working Group (KKG) PAI in State Primary School Cluster District of Payaraman, knows discipline teacher of Islamic education in the following activities PAI KKG District of Payaraman, and to determine the pedagogical competence of teachers in the State Primary School PAI Force District of Payaraman .The results of the research are: (1) Conducting a Teacher Working Group (KKG) PAI District of Payaraman already performing well. It can be seen from the program of activities has been arranged systematically and in accordance with the problem, (2) Discipline Islamic Education teachers in follow KKG is good, it can be seen from the presence of the participants (teachers) in the District of KKG PAI Payaraman, Further seen from the liveliness of teachers (participants KKG) to ask questions, respond to other teachers questions, share information with the interaction of many directions, ie participants and participant with tutors and fellow tutors, 3) pedagogical competence of teachers of Islamic Education elementary School has a good group namely learning program prepared properly, then the learning and assessment program based on the preparations that had been developed previously. Keywords: Role of Teachers Working Group (KKG) Islamic Education and Competence paedagogik Teachers

Abstract

This research aims to bring out science teaching material by using guided inquiry which is feasible to facilitate student’s critical thinking skill. The development used 4D model and have been implementation in four year’s class of MI Hidayatussibyan on first semester 2017/2018 with One-Group Pretes-Posttest Design. Data were collected through validation, observation, test, and questionnaire method. The data was analized by using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Results showed: 1) the teaching material developed which involve syllabus, lesson plan, textbook, worksheet, conceptual understanding test and critical thinking skill test are in valid category; 2) the material are categorized as practice where lesson plan was carried out, and student’s activity followed stages of guide inquiry model; and 3) they are effective where: (a) the increasing of conceptual understanding of students can be observed by the increasing of classical completeness from 46,46 to 87,15; (b) critical thinking skill went up with n-gain of high category (0,52); and (c) student’s respond to guided inquiry instruction is in good category. Therefore, the material is feasible to facilitate student’s critical thinking skill.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter memiliki esensi dan makna yang sama dengan pendidikan moral dan akhlak. Tujuannya adalah untuk membentuk pribadi anak supaya menjadi manusia yang baik, yaitu warga negara dan masyarakat yang baik. Istilah pendidikan karakter dalam sejarah bangsa Indonesia, bukan merupakan sesuatu yang baru. Pada masa penjajahan muncul sosok penggiat pendidikan karakter semisal R.A. Kartini, Ki hajar Dewantara, Soekarno, Hatta, Tan Malaka, dan Moh. Natsir. Sebenarnya dalam tradisi pendidikan di Indonesia, terdapat beberapa mata pelajaran dalam silabus yang diterapkan di sekolah khususnya Madrasah yang mengarah kepada pembentukan karakter bangsa, yakni Pendidikan Akidah Akhlak untuk membentuk insan yang berakhlak karimah dan civic education/kewarganegaraan untuk menumbuhkan semangat kebangsaan. Hanya saja dalam implementasi di wilayah mikro (lembaga pendidikan), mata pelajaran tersebut ternyata belum optimal untuk menjadikan output pendidikan formal menjadi pribadi yang berakhlakul karimah atau pribadi yang mengetahui, memahami, menghayati, dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai kebaikan. Tulisan berikut ini akan memaparkan tinjauan historis-filosofis-normatif dari pendidikan karakter di Indonesia.

Abstract

Scientific attitude is an approach to investigations that benefits from certain traits namely; curiosity or inquisitiveness, objectivity, open-mindedness, perseverance, humility, ability to accept failure, and skepticism. Scientific attitude is one of benchmarks for the success of science learning process especially the level of understanding of the concept of physics. This study aims to analyse the students’ scientific attitude on learning heat and temperature with Cooperative Inquiry Labs (CIL) model at SMAN 6 Banda Aceh. This is a quasi experimental research with the class subject of X-MIA1 as a control class and X-MIA2 as an experimental class. Data collection technique used was by giving a questionnaire containing seven kinds of scientific attitude indicators to each student. The questionnaire in this study used a Likert scale with four categories of responses. Data tabulation was done by testing the average difference of two independent samples, indicated that tcount (10.94) > ttable (2.01) at the significant level of 5%, which means that there are significant differences in outcomes between the experimental and control classes. The results of questionnaire analysis showed that in the control class, there were four scientific attitude indicators which had high category, and the three other indicators were in medium category, whereas in the experimental class, there were five indicators with high category and two indicators with medium category. Based on the data of the analysis result of t test showed the scientific attitude of the students in both classes were tcount = 2.09 which was bigger than ttable = 2.01, and because of the significance of <0.05, it can be said that there was a significant difference after the learning process with CIL model.

STUDI HABITAT DAN KEBIASAAN MAKANAN (FOOD HABIT) IKAN RONO LINDU (Oryzias sarasinorum POPTA, 1905)

Abstract

The ricefish Sasarin’s buntingi (Oryzias sarasinorum Popta, 1905), known locally as rono Lindu, has an endemic distribution limited to Lindu Lake, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. This species is increasingly rare and has been listed as Endangered in the IUCN Red List since 1996. The goals of this research were to analyse and describe the habitat and food habit of rono Lindu. The study covered four months, from September to December 2015. Rono Lindu habitat was categorized based on three substrate types: sand, sandy silt, and silt. The sampling stations were as follows: sandy habitat site named Kalanci, in Langko Village; sandy silt habitat site named Lovu in Anca Village and silty habitat site named Tomado. At all three stations rono Lindu growth patterns were allometric negative, with length increasing faster than weight. Condition factor values were indicative of relatively narrow bodied, slim rather than fat fish. Rono Lindu can be categorised as stenophagic, with relatively few diet components. Diet was dominated by phytoplankton at all three sites, with four species identified as Melosira sp., Synedra sp., Rhizosolenia and Thalassionema nitzschionides. The most common of these was Melosira sp., with the highest observed gut content proportion (58.31%) at the sandy substrate site. The abundance of rono Lindu food available varied between the sand, sandy silt and silty substrates, and rono Lindu have to compete for these resources with alien fish species introduced to Lindu Lake.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan sikap sosial siswa pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan setelah siswa belajar melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ekperimen semu dengan desain  pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Random Sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar, semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, tes sikap sosial, observasi dan angket. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji N-gain, diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen sebesar 25,88 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 25,00. Selanjutnya persentase nilai rata-rata tes akhir pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,29, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 61,25. Rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen termasuk kategori sedang.  Untuk gain yang dinormalisasi diperoleh thitung = 3,44 dengan signfikansi p = 0,002, karena signifikansi < 0,05, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan pada siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan pada siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan sikap sosial siswa dengan nilai sig. (0,000) < α (0,05), maka Ha yang diterima. Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai sig. (0,001) < α (0,05), maka Ha yang diterima. Hasil pengisian angket siswa diperoleh bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan yang diberikan kepada 17 siswa memberikan tanggapan yang positif (sangat baik).

Abstract

Hasil telaah nilai ujian nasional (UN) menunjukkan bahwa daya serap materi sistem tata surya di SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh masih rendah. Hasil  observasi dan diskusi dengan guru-guru IPA didapat bahwa motivasi belajar peserta didik umumnya masih rendah dan pembelajaran lebih dominan dengan cara konvensional. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain control group pretest-posttest serta teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretest-posttest untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif, untuk sikap sosial dan ketrampilan peserta didik melalui  observasi. Hasil analisis pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan N-gain hasil belajar kognitif sebesar 53,18%  sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 38,86%. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil uji t nilai N-gain menunjukkan  t hitung > t tabel  atau ( 2,887 > 2,042), dapat disimpulkan signifikan. Hasil analisis data observasi sikap sosial peserta didik, pada kelas eksperimen rata-rata sebesar 76 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 70. Hasil analisis ketrampilan, rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 73  dan kelas kontrol sebesar 68. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan peningkatan penguasaan konsep larutan penyangga siswa SMAN 1 Glumpang Baro dengan penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E berbantu ICT. (2) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa SMAN 1 Glumpang Baro pada materi larutan penyangga dengan penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E berbantu ICT. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 1 Glumpang  Baro dengan sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas XI IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Pengolahan data menggunakan rumus N-gain, danpersentase. Hasil penelitian diperoleh model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E berbantu ICT dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep larutan penyangga siswa SMAN 1 Glumpang Baro. Nilai rata-rata peningkatan dari 21,25 sebelum pembelajaran menjadi 61,88 setelah pembelajaran. Peningkatan pada kategori sedang (N-gain = 52,55). Model pembelajaran learning cycle7E berbantu ICT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa SMAN 1 Glumpang Baro pada materi larutan penyangga. Nilai rata-rata peningkatan dari 21,25 sebelum pembelajaran menjadi 76,25 setelah pembelajaran. Peningkatan pada kategori sedang (N-gain = 67,44).
