Abstract

The aims of research were to increase the activities and study result of students  by implementation of Cooperative Learning models of Talking Stick type. The method of research was Classroom Action Research with planning, acting, observing, and reflecting step. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test. The technique of data analyze used qualitative and quantitative technique. The results of research showed that implementation of Cooperative Learning models of Talking Stick type for thematics learning can improve the activities and study result of student.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Talking Stick. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar panduan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Talking Stick dalam pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, model cooperative learning tipe talking stick.
