Abstract

The wave of immigration of Muslims to European countries has brought with it the serious consequences as to how these Muslims should adapt culturally and religiously to the entirely different circumstances. Some Muslim intellectuals –like Fethullah Gulensuggested that Muslims should maintain the cultural co-existence in a way that would not endanger their religious tradition while at the same time bring a state of peace both for themselves and for the communities they live in. Tariq Ramadhan in the meantime suggested that Muslims be committed to what he calls the cultural assimilation whereby they put aside their cultural upbringing from their country of origin and assimilate fully into the cultural live of Europe. Hence, this paper is about the analysis of the cultural dilemma that Muslims face in Europe by referring to the thought of Gulen and Ramadhan on the issue at hand. Although the context of the paper is limited to Europe, the content of the analysis is presented in such a way that it may also be relevant to similar problems faced by Muslims in different cultural and social settings.

Abstract

Online business (selling-buying) has become prominent in the past few years ago as demand increases. This kind of business forms a positive effect of the development of internet which produces new business-men. Along with the development of online business, there emerges dropship system which is mostly undertaken by female entrepreneurs. Despite its negative effect, dropship system has positive influence, i.e. creating positive activities for women and therefore empowering them. The polemics of dropship is still going on. According to some Muslim jurists, dropship is forbidden (h}arâm) because the practicioners of this system sell items only from picture. Moreover, the items sold have not been the property of the practicioners. This article deals with the benefit of wakâlah and samsarah contract used to accommodate the dropship system. The specification of both contracts is explained in detail in order for this system to be undertaken as wakalah and samsarah contract. The practicioners of dropship as wâkil, and suppliers as muwakkil, or the practicioners of dropship as simsâr with some conditions that should be accorded to the contract in the beginning of transaction.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perilaku Pebisnis dan Wirausaha Muslim dalam Menjalankan Asas Transaksi Syariah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perilaku pebisnis dan wirausaha muslim, khususnya pada aspek budaya bisnis dan pedoman asas transaksi syariah yang disusun oleh Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui penggalian informasi kepada sejumlah informan yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok. Temuan penting dalam studi ini adalah terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara informan lulusan pesantren dan sebaliknya ketika menerapkan asas adalah, tawazun, serta maslahah. Meskipun demikian, peneliti tidak menemukan adanya perbedaan persepsi dalam menjalankan asas ukhuwah dan syumuliyah.    Abstract: The Behavior of Businessmen and Muslim Entrepreneurs in Running the Principles of Sharia Transactions. This study aims to map the behavior of businessmen and Muslim entrepreneurs, especially in the aspects of business culture and guiding principles of sharia transactions compiled by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants. The approach used is descriptive qualitative through the extracting of information to a number of informants divided into three groups. An important finding in this study is that there are differences in perceptions between pesantren graduate informants and vice versa when applying adalah, tawazun, and maslahah principles. Nevertheless, the researcher doesn’t find any difference of perception in running ukhuwah and syumuliyah principles.

Abstract

Pendekteksian kebangkrutan secara dini bisa dilakukan dengan baik, ketika seorang pengusaha meng- implementasikan integritas dan kompetensi dalam sistem manajerial, sistem pelaporan akuntansi, sistem penggunaan struktur modal dan sistem ketahanan bisnis dari adanya kecurangan. Ketika telah terjadi kebangkrutan, dalam ekonomi Islam ada istilah yang disebut iflas (pailit) dan orang yang bangkrut dikenali dengan sebutan (muflis). Terkait dengan hukum yang akan dikenakan kepada seorang muflis dikenali dengan sebutan al-hajr. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data menggunakan linier snowball method, di mana peneliti menggali informasi tentang 10 orang pengusaha yang bangkrut dari beberapa responden. Wawancara menggelinding seperti bola salju karena harus mewawancarai satu persatu informan dengan cara persuasif demi menggali informasi penting tentang beberapa penyebab kebangkrutan yang mereka alami. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa mayoritas kebangrutan disebabkan oleh penggunaan struktur modal yang tidak sesuai dengan kualifikasinya, kemudian disusul dengan pelaporan akuntansi yang kurang tepat, selanjutnya buruknya sistem manajemen, kurangnya profesionalitas dan terakhir adanya kecurangan baik dari aspek internal maupun eksternal. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini adalah, pada informan yang bergerak pada bidang usaha kecil menengah saja, dan belum diuji cobakan kepada industri besar. Diharapkan penelitian ini memberikan manfaat bagi para pebisnis, karena sebuah bisnis haruslah mempunyai sistem pencegahan secara dini terhadap kebangkrutan

Abstract

The behavior of impulsive buying becomes common today, along with the rampant variety of marketing promotions carried out by business people. Many consumers make purchases impulsively after being attracted to several factors that drive this behavior. The purchases due to unplanned decisions often occur in products and services of taḥsīnīyāt. Actually there is nothing wrong with the behavior of impulsive buying, if the consumers who do it have fulfilled the ḍarūrīyāt needs and have prepared their future needs. However, it becomes a problem if impulsive buying for products and services of taḥsīnīyāt precede the primary needs that have not been fulfilled properly. This research will try to provide a brief solution on how to limit the self from rughbah and shahwat of buying, by planning income for several financial posts. Here the author offers the concept of Islamic models of saving and investment which can also be interpreted as Islamic family wealth management. Abstract

This study discusses the use of e-commerce and m-commerce by female entrepreneurs, the majority was housewives. This study uses a qualitative method for exposing a phe-nomenon and the behavior that occurs. It uses descriptive design which allows for the study of profound and piercing the target. Thus, this research modle is the linear snowball to get 100 female entrepreneurs who do business with e-commerce and m-commerce. The findings show that some female entrepreneurs take advantage of e-commerce for retail sales, wholesalers, agents and distributors of a product / service and also in some remote areas, e-commerce, they can help some entrepreneurs to jump-start their business in a way to explore e-commerce for looking for a supplier. Utiliza-tion of e-commerce is relatively easier for the beginner entrepreneurs in the condition of contacts through mobile that is a demand for the products they offer. It suggests that further study can be done discussing the similar e-commerce which aims to support the emergence of women entrepreneurs as a reinforcement of the household finances with-out abandoning their responsibilities as a mother

Abstract

Impulse buying for buying things behavior known as unplanned purchase behavior often that spread to everyone.There is no exception among Muslim women, often stuck to make purchases that are not planned on products woman fashion online. This is because of the ease of online shopping procedure in making a woman could has the deal of buying the things, without having to get out of the door of his home. By using qualitative methods, then this researchl concerned to discuss how the behavior of impulse buying is done by the Muslim Indonesia through online purchase. This research useed the analysis of case studies, with the observation, interviewing and documenting data from fifty informants from several cities in Indonesia. This research resulted  several things related to how the woman of fashion moving behavior of impulsive purchases, backgrounds and types of Muslim women who make purchases are impulsive, and lastly the shifting trend Muslim perpetrators impulse buying, being a Muslimah dropshipping way of the online sellers or other ways
