Abstract

Muslims   is   majority   in   the   country   should   gain   the   education quality.Various amendments and improvements in college islam that should make us are likely to consider another self, and improve quality for improving the quality and quantity of islamic education in indonesia. Has been commonly known the presence of indonesian islamic universities in much of change, in line with the progress of knowledge and science and technology.It is time to college graduates who can integrate Islamic religion and science in an al quran with an “ulul albab”. called.  Indonesian  Islamic  universities  in  a  strategic  position  to  get  the  “ulul albab”. Keywords : Islam college, generation Ulul Albab

Abstract

This research on the modification of cellulose using 4,4-diaminodiphenylether and o-hydroxybenzaldehyde and its application to adsorb Cd2+ in aqueous solution has been done. The adsorption studies of cellulose and modified cellulose were done by using batch technique. The cellulose and modified cellulose were characterized by FTIR. The FTIR spectra revealed characteristic bands of 1573 cm-1, 1280 cm-1, 3749 cm-1 and 1056 cm-1. It indicates function group of C=N, C=O, O-H and Si-OR bond, respectively. The FTIR spectra of cellulose and modified cellulose which interacted to Cd2+, it were indicated by the shift in wavenumber 3410 cm-1 to 3371 cm-1. This spectral shift indicating Cd2+ bound to OH-group. In this research, interaction between modified cellulose with Cd2+ confirmed by intensities spectral changes at 1620 cm-1. The adsorption capacity and energy from adsorption of Cd2+ ions toward cellulose were 71,43 mg/g and 4,142 kJ/mol, while toward modified cellulose were 55,56 mg/g and 0,13 kJ/mol, respectively. Keywords: cellulose, 4,4-diaminodiphenylether-o-hydroxybenzaldehyde, adsorption, Cd2+

Abstract

The modification of cellulose with 2-mercaptobenzhotiazole (MBT) through grafting and impregnating methods has been done. Modified cellulose used as adsorbent for Cu(II) ion in aqueous solution. The aims of research were modification cellulose with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane and 2-mercaptobenzhotiazole (MBT), characterization of the modified cellulose with FTIR, SEM and XRD and adsorption study between cellulose-MBT adsorbent with Cu(II) ion in aqueous solution. The adsorbent of cellulose-MBT was synthesized by reflux process. Adsorption study between cellulose-MBT adsorbent with Cu(II) ion was investigated based on influence of pH solution, interaction time and initial concentration of Cu(II) ion. The result showed that activated cellulose can be modified with MBT to become cellulose-MBT adsorbent. The functional group of –C=N appeared at wavenumber 1658 cm-1 attributed to functional group of -C=N- is Schiff base of MBT. Presence functional group of S-H at cellulose-MBT adsorbent was not detected. The surface morphology of cellulose-MBT adsorbent after being interacted with Cu(II) ion was different before being interacted with Cu(II) ion. The diffractogram of cellulose-MBT adsorbent has similarity with cellulose-MBT adsorbent-Cu(II) ion. The optimum adsorption of Cu(II) ion was observed at pH 7.0 and 150 min of interaction time. Percentage of Cu(II) ion was absorbed by cellulose-MBT adsorbent tended to be constant after Cu(II) ion concentration 100 ppm.

Abstract

The synthesis chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin using casting method has been done. The aims of this research were modification chitosan with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin, formaldehyde and its characterization using FTIR spectroscopy, SEM analysis, 1H-NMR and X-Ray Diffraction analysis. The first step was a synthesis of modified chitosan between chitosan and Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin. The second step was chitosan modified Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin then reacted with formaldehyde through casting method. The result showed that chitosan can be modified with Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and formaldehyde and this modified chitosan can be linked by methylene bridge (-NH-CH2-NH-) and had azomethine group (-C=N-). The functional group of –C=N in modified chitosan before and after adding formaldehyde appeared at a constant wavenumber of 1597 cm-1. The functional group C-N in methylene bridge detected at 1388 and 1496 cm-1. The chitosan-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin and Chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenyl ether-vanillin had index crystalline (%)16.04 and 25.76, respectively. The chemical sift of signal proton azomethine group (-C=N-) in modified chitosan detected at 8.44–8.48 and 9.77 ppm. Proton from methylene bridge in modified chitosan appeared at 4.97–4.99 and 3.75 ppm. Surface morphology chitosan-methylene bridge-Schiff base of 4,4-diaminodiphenylether-vanillin had dense surfaces, mostly uniform and regular in shape.

Abstract

Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif merupakan komponen sistem penyampaian pengajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Pengembangan media interaktif dilandasi oleh persepsi bahwa pembelajaran akan berlangsung dengan baik, efektif, dan menyenangkan jika didukung oleh media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat dan perhatian siswa. Apalagi  saat  ini  penggunaan  media  pembelajaran  berbasis  Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi merupakan suatu keharusan.  Berdasarkan UU Nomor14/2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen telah diputuskan bahwa “setiap guru harus dapat memanfaatkan teknologi   informasi   dan   komunikasi  untuk  kepentingan penyelenggaraan kegiatan pengembangan yang mendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti menggunakan metode pengembangan multimedia. Dalam pengembangan metode multimedia terdapat beberapa tahapan yaitu konsep, perancangan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan dan pengujian. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif Mata Pelajaran IPA Terpadu untuk Siswa SMPN 5 Kota Serang yang berisi 6 tampilan yaitu terdiri dari tampilan awal, tampilan apersepsi, tampilan SK/KD, tampilan indikator, tampilan materi, tampilan simulasi dan tampilan evaluasi.

Abstract

Sensor Accelerometer adalah satu dari sekian banyak sensor yang ditanamkan pada ponsel berbasis Android. Sensor Accelerometer bekerja dengan mengukur percepatan gravitasi, dimana untuk mengubah orientasi tampilan, Aplikasi yang dibuat oleh penulis ini, menggunakan bluetooth sebagai penghubung antara ponsel berbasis Android dan mobile robot, serta sensor accelerometer sebagai pengontrol gerakan mobile robot secara real time. Pengontrolan gerakan mobile robot dilakukan dengan cara mengirimkan perubahan nilai sensor accelerometer kepada mobile robot gerakan kebebasaan melalui komunikasi serial. memberikan masukan bagi perkembangan pengontrolan. Terutama di dalam aplikasi sensor Accelerometer berbasis android untuk gerakan robot kebebasaan.

Abstract

A study has been conducted on influences of various chitosan concentrationas coating and storage time to Vitamin C concentration of green grape (Vitis vinifera L.) by dipping method. This study aims to de-termine the difference of chitosan concentration to physical characteristics, weight loss and vitamin C concen-tration of green grape. Chitosan coating was conducted on 50 grams of green grape by dipping method at var-ious concentration of chitosan that is 0%, 0,5%, 1%, 1,5% and 2% (w / v), kept on variation of one, four and seven day storage time. Determination of vitamin C concentration of green grape was done by UV-Vis spec-trophotometer measured at 256 nm wavelength with regression equation y = 0,0344 x + 0,101 and r = 0,998. Based on statistical test showed that chitosan concentration of 1% (w / v) with 4 days storage time is the most optimum because the chitosan layer is able to close all green grape pores, so the process of anaerobic and CO2 respiration can be inhibited by chitosan solution.
