Abstract

An organization was formed not only intended to produce the product. The resulting products of an organization can be a goods and service also can distinguish thoseorganizations with other organizations. While the perpetrators who carry out the work referred to the performance. The notion of performance in General can be said asthe magnitude of the contributions or the results of the work accomplished provided employees towards progress and development or organizational goals or organisation where he worked. This type of research is descriptive research and verifikatif with analysis tools in the form of path analysis (Path analysis). This research was conducted in the public works agency Batang Hari Jambi with a number of employees as many as 95 people as research samples. the results of hypothesis testing simultaneously between the variables (X 1), organization culture, leadership style (X 2), supervision (X 3), with a motivational variable (Y) shows that F calculate the significant level 9,669 0000. from the table above shows that the value of t count variable (Y) motivation is significant level 4,488 0000. because 0.000 H0 is rejected then the 0.05 < Hoaccepted (significant). The results show that partially motivated (Y) effect on performance (Z) on public works Districts Batanghari Jambi.Keywords: organizational culture, leadership style

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the nutrition knowledge and fruit juice beverages product knowledge correlate to consumed brand specifically. The data were collected from 200 IPB students with food and non-food educational background Mann-Whitney test, Friedman test and regression test were used to analyze the data. The result of this study showed that most of the study participants (81,0%) have a good nutrition knowledge, and most of them have a medium level of product knowledge. In liquid form, Buavita brand is the most fruit juice consumed by the study participants, while in powder form is Nutrisari Brand Spearman correlation test showed that there was no significant correlation (p&gt;0,05) between nutrition and product knowledge with fruit juice beverage brand consumed either in powder or in liquidform.

Abstract

Analysis of Jambi Provincial Government Expenditure In 2011 performed using Analysis of Variance, Growth Ratio Analysis, Ratio Analysis Harmony Shopping, Spending Efficiency Ratio Analysis, and Ratio Analysis Expenditure to GDP.The results of the analysis of all the ratios above indicate that there is efficiency in all parts of regional spending in 2011, and in accordance with the concept of value for money. Overall mean performance Jambi Provincial Government budget year 2011 rated as good.Keyword : Local Expenditure anylisis, Local Expenditure Ratio, Efficiency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui 1). bentuk  pesan- pesan dalam pappaseng yang dijadikan sebagai warisan budaya yang berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter perempuan Bugis; 2). proses pewarisan pesan-pesan tersebut kepada perempuan dalam masyarakat Bugis.dan 3). Bentuk karakter perempuan ideal bagi masyarakat Bugis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif naratif. Data dianalisis dengan tiga tahap, yaitu: mengidentifikasi dan memahami data Pappaseng berdasarkan pesan yang ditujukan kepada perempuan, menguraikan data berdasarkan narasumber yang ditemui dilapangan dan menganalisis hubungan antara paseng yang ada dalam lontaraq dengan data lapangan dari narasumber. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa naskah yang telah dikumpulkan oleh para filolog dan budayawan Bugis yang telah ditranskripsikan dan diterjemahkan, serta didukung dengan wawancara terhadap beberapa informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan banyak warisan dalam lontaraq maupun dalam budaya tutur yang mengandung makna pembentukan karakter perempuan Bugis agar senantiasa : Matanre siriq (menjaga kehormatan), malebbiq (sederhana), mapakkeq (disiplin), misseng dapureng (pintar memasak), malabo (dermawan), serta setia kepada suami. Pewarisan pesan pesan komunikasi budaya pada masyarakat Bugis terhadap perempuan terjadi melalui proses sosialisasi dan enkulturasi. Sosialisasi  melalui proses verbal yakni melalui nasehat, petuah, wejangan dan juga tindakan yang berupa orang tua memberi contoh mengenai apa yang baik, dan tidak baik kepada anak, adapun proses enkulturasi terjadi melalui pembiasaan oleh anak terhadap nilai-nilai yang dipelajari dari orang tua maupun terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial performance of Jambi Provincial Government in the regional financial statements before and after the implementation of accrual basis in 2014 and 2015. The result of the research shows that the financial performance of Jambi Provincial Government as measured by liquidity ratio, solvency ratio and leverage ratio are still in good category and within safe limits because value of all the ratio is above industry standard, although in 2015 there is a decrease in all value ratio because in that year the Jambi Provincial Government has applied the accrual basis in presenting the financial statements so that there is a decrease in the asset post that is in the post of current assets due to allowance for receivables and on the post of fixed assets due to depreciation of fixed assets. Decrease in asset value automatically leads to a decrease in its financial performance.Keywords : financial performance, financial ratio, accrual basis

Abstract

The purposes this research are to examine the influence of work commitment, Quality of Work Life (QWL), job satisfaction and employee performance. The influences of work commitment, Quality of Work Life (QWL), job satisfaction and employee performance tested both directly and indirectly by taking a sample of 80 employees. To test the variables used in research conducted a survey of employees at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Jambi Branch. Framework of theory and data analysis is done by using Path Analysis. The results of this research indicate that the work commitment, Quality of Work Life (QWL) and job satisfaction influential support directly and indirectly to the performance of employees is positive and significant impact. The analysis tool in this research using descriptive methods and verification. Where a descriptive study using a range of scales, while in verification using path analysis. Based on the results are reflection that work commitment , Quality of Work Life (QWL), job satisfaction is an important issue to improve performance of employees. Results of the study revealed that the results related to the employee's performance is important to manage the company. Optimizing the quality of work through constant work evaluation on appropriate working standards are set, action inconsistent to individuals may lead to other negative consequences in the company, such a low performance, resistance to the organization and may indicate the behavior of disobedience the employees.    Keywords: work commitment, QWL, job satisfaction and performance

Abstract

The research aims to obtain a description or explanation on the implementation of the mutation and training in Polres Sarolangun and factors affecting the implementation of mutation in Polres Sarolangun a commissioned officer.            This research method used is descriptive of analysis with the goal to give a description or painting the situation in a systematic, factual and accurate on the implementation of mutation and training of personel on the performance specialist in Polres Sarolangun. Were analysed qualitatively better data which are quantitative and qualitative based on the report and note that in the field.  With data collection techniques study literature and field studies namely the questionnaire. Based on the results of the testing of hypotheses of any result was obtained on the variable significant.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the efforts made the Government District/Town in Jambi province in an attempt to increase revenue of the original area (PAD) in order to increase the ratio of the independence area for fiscal year 2015.            These studies are qualitative and quantitative by using the related literature and data Report realization of Budget the county or city within Jambi province fiscal year 2015.Based on the results of the analysis of the obtained conclusions that the ratio of independence County or city within Jambi province are still very small with an overall average of 8.83% just so is need for efforts of local governments to increase the PAD in order to increase the ratio of independence. As for the effort to be made to increase the number of PAD that is by calculating the potential of existing PAD then conducted analysis with micro and macro base it can be done working with related institutions of study so that potential data obtained more accurate PAD. Other efforts is to improve the system of revenue management areas include (1) the expansion of the base of acceptance, (2) control over the revenue leakage, (3) improved the efficiency of the administration of revenue and (4) transparency and accountability. Key word: the original Revenue area, the ratio of Self-sufficiency, the report realization of Budget

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how to optimize the role of internal control system in preventing the occurrence of fraud on cash and assets in non government or private educational institution. Tool of analyzed used in this research is internal control system according to COSO definition and combined with internal control system according to Government Regulation Number 60 Year 2008 with 5 internal control component that is; 1) Control Environment, 2) Risk Assessment, 3) Control Activity, 4) Information and Communication and 5) Monitoring. The result of the research shows that optimizing the role of the internal control system is very helpful to the management in managing the finances and assets owned so as to prevent the occurrence of fraud on the cash and assets in private educational institution. The expectation of the future by optimizing the role of internal control system on cash management and assets in non government/or the private educational institution will be more efficient and effective which will ultimately improve the quality and accountability of the private educational institution.

Abstract

Being a whistleblower is not an easy matter. Someone from internal organizations will face an ethical dilemma in deciding whether to "blow the whistle" or leave it hidden. Some view whistleblowers as traitors who violate the norms of organizational loyalty, others see whistleblowers as heroic protectors of truth values, not just loyalty to conflicting organizations, causing potential whistleblowers to experience a dilemma in determining attitudes that can distort Whistleblowing interests..This research examines and analyzes the effect seriousness of the violation, organizational commitment, academic potential and gender towards possible intentions to Whistleblowing by students. Therefore this study would like to apply the Theory of Planned Behavior concept which explains that the behavior carried out by individuals arises because of the intention that underlies the behavior .Data analysis uses logistic regression analysis with SPSS 22.00 for Windows. The result indicates that Gender and  organizational commitment have significant impact on probability of intention to do Whistleblowing.
