Abstract

Background : The main factor will be the public distrust and don’t choose a health service, is the perceived service quality that don’t sactisfactory. Region hospital of Prabumulih city have made good improvement in term of physical and ministry. But, the increases arenot accompanied by increased utilization. Therefore, this study aims to know service quality in how the general out-patient clinic at region hospital of Prabumulih city. Method : This is quantitative research while the data collected is cross-sectional data. The data processed by using SPSS program and performed univariate and bivariate analysis. The sample was patients in general out-patient clinic at region hospital of Prabumulih city, from July - August 2009 with 138 people. Result : The result showed that most respondent had good perception and very high expectation for five quality dimension; tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The result of bivariate analysis showed  that total score of perceived service was lower than expected service. Conclusion : Concluded that perceived service quality in general out-patient clinic at region hospital of Prabumulih was bad from the perspective of the patient because couldn’t fulfill patient’s expectation. Suggestions in this research are for region hospital of Prabumulih city, especially general out-patient clinic, they should keep the patient’s condition was assessed in good, more attention and also must be sensitive to the complaints patient about perceived service and make every effort to meet patient expectation about perceived service. Abstract

Kunjungan pasien Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan (Jamsoskes) di puskesmas pembina selama tahun 2009 adalah 24.014 orang. Kunjungan per catur wulan memperlihatkan trend yang menurun. Jumlah pengunjung puskesmas pembina pada periode bulan Januari – April 2009 adalah 9.295 orang, pada Mei – Agustus 2009 adalah 8.162 orang, dan September – Desember 2009 adalah 6.557 orang. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh minat masyarakat yang rendah untuk menggunakan Jamsoskes. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan kajian kualitas pelayanan Jamsoskes menurut perspektif pasien. Penelitian dengan desain cross sectional ini menggunakan data primer yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara terstruktur atau survei. Sampel terdiri dari 100 pasien Jamsoskes yang mendapat pelayanan di puskesmas pembina dengan metode analisis kesesuaian kinerja (importance-performance analysis/IPA). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian antara kinerja dan harapan pasien pada pelayanan Jamsoskes di puskesmas pembina adalah 83,44%. Terdapat dua atribut pada dimensi kualitas pelayanan yang masih perlu ditingkatkan meliputi pemberian perhatian oleh dokter terhadap keluhan-keluhan pasien tentang penyakit serta kenyamanan dan kerapian ruang pengobatan di poli umum. Peran dokter sebagai fasilitator kesembuhan pasien perlu ditingkatkan melalui sikap empati atas berbagai keluhan penyakit pasien serta mempertimbangkan penataan ulang ruangan pelayanan untuk kenyamanan pasien.Kata kunci: Analisis kesesuaian kinerja, jamsoskes, kualitas, puskesmasAbstract The sum of social health assurance (Jamsoskes) patients in puskesmas pembina during 2009 was 24.014 people. There was a decrease in per quarter visits. The sum of patients visit in January to April 2009 was 9.295 people, May to August 2009 was 8.162 people, and September to December 2009 was 6.557 people. This can be caused by the low interest of community to utilize Jamsoskes service. Thus, it should be reviewed 105 about the quality of Jamsoskes service according to the patients’ perspective. This research was quantitative survey. The sample was 100 patients of Jamsoskes at puskesmas pembina. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire and analyzed by the importance-performance analysis. The average of balance level between service performance and expectation of patients was 83,44%. There were two attributes in the dimensions of service quality that need to be increased: the phycisian attention to the patients complaints about their diseases and convenience and neatness of the treatment room at the general polyclinic. The role of physician as a facilitator of healing to the patient needs to be improved through the attitude of empathy on patient complaints. Keywords: : Importance performance analysis, social health assurance, quality, primary health center

Abstract

Background: Sex is an aspect that is important for the development of adolescent. Mobility and construction of various facilities in  Palembang city, especially Seberang Ulu area is increasing. Increased development raises its own dilemma, on one side the people in dire needs of development, but on the other side occurs that changed  the moral decline in adolescent values, norms and lifestyles are followed by a media revolution and an increasingly independent behavior. This study aims to determine the influence of life skills on sexual behavior in adolescents. This research was done in May-June 2011 in the Seberang Ulu Area. Methods: This is quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The subject were all of adolescents aged 12-21 years in Seberang Ulu area of Palembang City with 96 respondents sample. The statistical test used chi square test by using SPSS version 17 program. Result: The results showed that there is the influence of life skills (p = 0.015), hard skills (knowledge of sex) (p = 0.012), soft skills (religiosity, self-confidence, and self-concept) (p = 0.000) towards sexual behavior in adolescent, partially religiosity (p = 0.015), confidence (p = 0.018), and self-concept (p = 0.027) also influence of sex behavior. Conclusion: Life skills, soft skills, religiosity, self-confidence, and self-concept is a risk factor while the hard skills is preventing factor of free sex in adolescents. We need a development model life skills-based education for free sex prevention. Keywords: adolescents, life skills, sexual behavior

Abstract

Background : Diarrhea disease is still becoming world health problem, especially in developing countries. The size of the problem can be seen from the high number of morbidity and mortality diarrhea. Diarrhea can be caused by several factors that include behavioral, environmental, and health services. Method : This study is a survey research with the analytical cross sectional approach. The sample of this research is children aged 6-24 months in the 11 Ilir health center area Palembang, amounting to 83 people with the mother as the respondent. Sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Result : Results of research shows that the percentage of diarrhea occurrence in children aged 6-24 months is 42.2%. The statistical results of this research are as follows, there is a significant relation between exclusive breastfeeding (p value = 0.017), the MP ASI (p value = 0.027), hand-washing habits (p value = 0.010), and the use of latrine (p value = 0.046) and diarrhea incidence in children. Conclusion : Conclusion of this research is there is significant relation between of exclusive breastfeeding, MP ASI, hand-washing habits and the use of latrine with diarrhea incidence in children aged 6-24 months. Suggestions of this research by giving intensive and sustained counseling by health workers about the factors associated with diarrhea outbreak, to raise awareness for the public to change the bad habits that can cause diarrhea disease in children under five years. Abstract

Premarital sex behavior had become a serious issue. Preliminary studies show 12 of 30 teenagers who religious, well-educated, and has good family background, were already experienced sexual intercourse. The objective of this study is explaining parents’ role through their knowledge, attitude, perception, facilities given to children, and behavior. This research was conducted at 2017, and using a cross-sectional design. Quantitative data were obtained by 526 population study and interviewing 150 students’ parent from six high schools in Palembang which are selected using multistage random sampling. Multivariate data analysis is processed by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Test in statistical application program named Partial Least Square (PLS). This research found that fifty percent of respondent have good knowledge and supportive attitude towards preventive action of premarital sex behavior. There are 62.7% having good perception about the importance of parents’ role. However, 41.3% just perform negatively on preventive sexual behavior in early ages. They usually provide some facilities such as money, motorbike or car, handphone, laptop, and internet at home that can be used to access pornography content. Model analysis proved that knowledge, attitude, perception, and facilities influence 29 percent of adolescent premarital sex behavior caused by improper parenting role

Abstract

Background: The increased rates of caesarean section become public health problem because it can enhance on risk of maternal and perinatal adverse effects. Visits antenatal care need to monitor pregnancy and planned birth to know of the mothers pregnancy so that can detect early disease and maternal complications who can determine the act of delivery. The objective of study is analyze the relationship antenal care visits with caesarean section delivery Method: This is a quantitative research using cross-sectional study design with 12.536 sample women in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Analysis of data research is done with complex sample univariat, bivariat the chi-square and multivariate regression model the logistics risk factors. Result: The results of analysis that there was significant association antenatal care visits with caesarean section delivery with antenatal care, socioeconomic family, area of residence, mothers education, maternal age, parity and complications during pregnancy, while that that is not related to the birth weight group. Conclusion: Can be concluded that antenatal care visits have a significant relationship with caesarean section delivery in Indonesia after controlling for socioeconomic family, area of residence, mothers education, maternal age, parity and complications during pregnancy.Keywords: Caesarean Section Delivery, Antenatal Care Visits DOI: https://doi.org/10.26553/jikm.2016.7.2.89-95

Abstract

Background : Indonesia was depeloving country which has the forth biggest population  in the world. The Rate of Population Growth in Indonesia in 2000 was recorded about 1,49% and to depress this Population Growth Rate, the government strived Family Planning Program. One of  the Family Planning Program Policy was improving contraception usage more efectively, efficiently and long duration of  usage. Implant was very effective type of contraception which the effectiveness level is 97-99% with usage duration for five years. Even though the level of implant effectiveness was high, the usage is still low. Therefore, this research aimed to know about the factors which were related with implant usage in Desa Parit. Method : This research represented article survey which has the character of analityc research with approached of cross sectional study. Where independent and dependent variable were observed all at once at the same time. The data were collected by using secondary data and questionnair in the form of primary data. Futhermore, The data were processed by using SPSS program and were conducted the bivariate and univariate analysis. Sample in research was women whose status married and family planning acceptor in Desa Parit Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir were counted 87 respondents. Result : The result of this research indicated that the factors were related with implant usage are respondents attitude concerned about implant (x2 0,03) and respondent’s husband roled about implant (x2 0,03). On the other hand education level variable, knowledge about implant, and service of family planning counseling were not related with the implant usage. Conclusion : To be expected for eligible couples to ask clarification to the health officer when the counseling service was taking place. For health officer, were required to improve of counseling execution about Family Planning and to improve performance field officer of Family Planning Program in giving clarification about controversial  issue which expanded in public toward the side effect that generated from contraception usage especially implant. Abstract

Background: Transgender was a phenomenon that increasingly flourished in Indonesia. Most of the transgender was living as commercial sex workers (CSWs). The high number of transgender currently impact on the increasingly high rates of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in Indonesia. Therefore, transgender became an important part to care. The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with risk sexual behavior for STD infection among transgender. Method: This study is a descriptive analytic research design based on a cross-sectional approach. The population of research was 58 people, so that the sample is all part of the population. The univariate and bivariate  used as the analysis to test chi-square. Result: From the results of research known that there was a signifivicant between age (p-value = 0,035; RP=3.636), education (p-value = 0,020; RP=7,083), knowledge (p-value = 0,000; RP=19,286), susceptible perception (p-value = 0,000; RP=15,086) and seriously perception that respondent feel (p-value = 0,035; RP=3,636) with sexual risk behavior for STDs infected. There is no relationship between job (p-value = 0,799; RP = 1,486) with sexual risk behavior for STDs infected. Conclussion: Advice of the research made a legal regulation from government that requires condom use at prostitution area especially for CSWs and klien. Abstract

Background: A need marketing mix marketing strategies as a means to win the competition in the health service. Obstetris and gynecology clinic at AR Bunda Hospital has been trying to implement all variables of marketing mix in an optimal but not accompanied with an increased number of visits. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the application of marketing mix in the clinic of obstetrics and gynecology. Method: This kind of the research is descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Research method by observation and depth interviews. There are eleven people plus one expert informant as the source of information in this research. Result: The result showed that place, promotion, physical evidence and  process variables has not been applied properly. While  price and people variables has been applied with good. Conclussion: Concluded that implementation of the marketing mix in Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at AR Bunda Hospital of Prabumulih City has not done well because there are still some variables that have not been applied properly. The suggestion for public relations of hospital must to further optimize promotional efforts at the hospital. By way of a more proactive approach with the public through seminars that made regular hospital program and for all of department at hospital as a whole to pay more attention to the condition of the hospital cleanliness and completeness of the supporting facilities.Keywords: Marketing mix, health services

Abstract

Background : In adolescence often incompatibility between psychological and social development. If this incompatibility is not be good overcome can be mired in negative behaviors. One of the negative behavior is free sex. According to suvey of BKKBN in 2008 showed about 63% of adolescents in Indonesia ever done free sex. This sexual behavior is motivated by inherent factors in himself. These factors were grouped into hard skill and soft skill factors. The aim of this research was to know the influence of hard skill and soft skill factors with sexual behavior in adolescents at Seberang Ilir area of Palembang city. Method : This study is a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The method used by distributing questionnaires. Data collected and processed using SPSS program and performed univariate analisys and bivariate analysis. Study sample was adolescent living in 12 districts at Seberang Ilir area of Palembang city with 96 respondents sample. Result : The research indicated that there was influence between knowledge (Pvalue= 0,000), emotional intelligence ( Pvalue= 0,016), moral intelligence (Pvalue= 0,005), hard skill (Pvalue= 0,000), and soft skill (Pvalue= 0,003) with sexual behavior in adolescent. Conclusion : The factors of hard skills and soft skill have influence with sexual behavior in adolescents. Need an increase in hard skill (knowledge), and soft skills (emotional intelligence and moral intelligence) so that the adolescent can avoid sexual behavior.
