Abstract

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ZINC SERUM AND NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE.Background: The findings of study that 30% in Bogor and 27% in Jakarta of elderly people were undernourished. Malnutrition may occur due to infection and low food intake. Among elderly people, one of the factors that causes low food intake is affected by impairment of taste sensory and teeth function. The impairment of taste sensory is influenced by zinc status in the body.Objective: To collect food consumption pattem data of zinc rich foods, zinc concentration in serum and to analyze association of zinc concentration and nutritional status.Methods: Research design was cross sectional, and conducted in two sub districts in Bogor city. The respondents were women in 60-75 years of age, no suffering from illnesses and chronically disease. The total respondent was 90 people, and divided into three groups of 30 peoples. Data gathered included respondent identity, physical examination, anthropometry, blood biochemical and zinc dietary consumption.Results: Zinc dietary consumption adequacy of underweight group was only 30% of recommended dietary allowance, while for normal and overweight groups were 40% of dietary allowance. Zinc serum concentration of underweight group (82 ug/dl) was not significantly different with normal group (85 ug/dl), however differed significantly (p<0.05) with overweight group (95 ug/dl). Underweight group suffered 40% zinc deficiency, 27% for normal and only 7% for overweight group.Conclusions: Zinc deficiency was more prevalent in underweight group than that of normal and overweight group. Abstract

Talise is an area with a fairly high construction activities at the present time. The condition of the buildings in this area is susceptible to damage. This problem is mainly caused by constructing many buildings without considering the structure of subsurface. The purpose of this study is to determine the classification and types of rock below the surface through the analysis of shear wave velocity to a depth of 30 m (Vs30) instudy area. The method used in this research wasRefraction Mikrotremor (Remi) that records a shear wave propagationhappening below the surface. Data processing was performed using Surface Wave Analysis Wizard and WaveEq (Surface Wave Analysis) programs.The interpretation of 6 tracks shows that the greater depth obtained, the greater value range of shear wave velocity happened. The results of this study werethe form of classification and subsurface rock types with 4 different study sites, namelyAbadi field, Jabal Nur field, Mapolda Sulteng, and School of Model Terpadu Madani. Abstract

Research on identifying the subsurface layer structure and the temperaturedistribution of geothermal areas in Mantikolevillage. Dolodistrict, Sigiregency has been conducted. Measurements were performed on3 tracks around geothermal sources by using the geoelectric resistivity of wenner configuration that was subsequently processed using EarthImager2D software. Based on the results of dataprocessing, the subsurface layer structures in study area were surface water, clay, and igneous rock of granite with resistivity values ranging between 75 Ωm-1585 Ωm.Subsequently, the obtainedresistivity values were converted to a temperature distribution using anequation that is derived from Archie formula and further modelled usingRockwork software. Considering this temperature distribution, it is known that the temperature values ranged between 38oC-57oC with the highest temperature at the second track. Abstract

The research using the method of refraction microtremor (REMI) has been carried out in the village of Salua, District of Kulawi. Seismic method of refraction microtremor (REMI) is an effective and efficient method for determining the shear wave velocity (shear wave) each bedding soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the subsurface structure based on the propagation speed of shear waves and to estimate the elasticity characteristics of the subsurface rocks. Data processing is divided into two phases. The first stage is done by using two programs that use the Surface Wave Analysis Wizard program and WaveEq (Surface Wave Analysis) program. The second stage determines the shear modulus of rock. From the data processing of the 6 lines can be seen that the subsurface structure is dominated by dry sand with shear wave velocity range of 80 m/s with a shear modulus range of 10,24-70,56 N/m2 and by soil with shear wave velocity in the range of 120 m/s with a shear modulus from 38,16-108 N/m2, and also by clay with shear wave velocity in the range of 405 m/s with a shear modulus 377,25 N/m2. Abstract

The research using refraction of micro-tremor has been conducted in the Village of Enu,Districtof Sindue, Regency of Donggala. Refraction seismic method of micro-tremor is an effective and efficient method for determining the shear wave velocity of rock bedding. This study aims to determine the structure of the soft soil layers that have the potential landslides as well as determining the value of the depth of each layer. Data taking of used 24 channel geophones which spaced 3 meter between geophones and 3 tracks. Data processing was done in 2 stages: first stage using Surface Wave Analysis Wizard program to get phase velocity relation as a function frequency and the second stage using WaveEq program to obtain the shear wave velocity (Vs) as a function of depth (m). Interpretation performed to infert the structure of geological layers below the surface based on the value in the medium speed of shear wave propagation velocity. The interpretation results of shear wave velocity for 1-st track is located on the third layer with depth of12 m and Vs = 105 m/s, for 2-nd track is located also on third layer with a depth of 9 m and Vs = 80 m/s, and for the 3-rd track is laid on 2-nd layer with a depth of 8 m and Vs = 105 m/s. The soft rocks that acts as a sliding plane is granite and claywhich covered limestone with Vs = 80 m/s-105 m/s and the depth of 8 m-12 m. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian telah dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui perlapisan bawah permukaan yang berpotensi mengalami pergerakan dan mengetahui bidang gelincir dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik hambatan jenis konfigurasi dipole-dipole di Desa Mataue Kecamatan Kulawi Kabupaten Sigi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 lintasan pengukuran dengan panjang lintasan 330 meter dan spasi elektroda 6 meter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penampang bawah permukaan yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan memiliki nilai hambatan jenis dengan kisaran 10 – 100 Ωm. Keberadaan bidang gelincir diduga berada pada lapisan dengan nilai hambatan jenis 10 – 31,6 Ωm. Pada Lintasan 1 terdapat 2 bidang gelincir dimana bidang gelincir pertama diduga berada pada kedalaman sekitar 13 – 14 m dan bidang gelincir kedua berada pada kedalaman sekitar 26 – 75 m. Pada Lintasan 2 juga terdapat 2 bidang gelincir dimana bidang gelincir pertama diduga berada pada kedalaman sekitar 1 – 45 m dan bidang gelincir kedua berada pada kedalaman sekitar 1 – 15 m. Pada Lintasan 3 diduga bidang gelincir berada pada kedalaman sekitar 10 – 17 m. Pada Lintasan 4 terdapat 3 bidang gelincir dengan bidang gelincir pertama diduga berada pada kedalaman sekitar 10 – 13 m, bidang gelincir kedua pada kedalaman sekitar 9 – 12 m dan bidang gelincir ketiga berada pada kedalam 7 – 14 m, dengan struktur geometri rotasional dan translasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada daerah penelitian berpotensi terjadinya gerakan tanah. Kata kunci: Bidang gelincir, hambatan jenis, metode geolistrik, konfigurasi dipole-dipole

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the interpretation of distribution of nickel minerals using geomagnet method in Tambale Village, Mamosalato District have been done. This research to interpretation the distribution of nickel minerals by analyzing the distribution of the nickel mineral carrier rocks. Stages of research include; data acquisition, IGRF correction and daily variation correction, separation of magnetic anomalies to residual magnetic anomalies, and modeling. The modeling technique used is 3D inversion modeling technique using MAG3D software. Suseptibility of rocks carrier of nickel minerals between 0.07540 SI to 0.16336 SI. Susptibility is suspected as ultramafic rocks namely peridotite and dunit and metamorphic rocks namely serpentine. The distribution of sueptibility in the south to the north and tend to spread to the east of the study location with an average depth of approximately 60 meters under front of the ground.Keywords: Anomaly, Magnetic, Inversion modelling, Suseptibility

Abstract

Pemodelan 2D reservoar geotermal dengan menggunakan metode geomagnet telah dilakukan di daerah Panasbumi Desa Kasimbar Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan memodelkan reservoar tersebut dalam bentuk 2 dimensi dan untuk mengetahui kondisi bawah permukaan reservoar. Pemodelan ini dilakukan dengan bantuan program Mag2DC. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa terdapat reservoar pada lintasan a-a’ dengan nilai suseptibilitas -0,029 SI pada kedalaman 247,16 m dan -0,054 SI pada kedalaman 204,17 m. Untuk lintasan c-c’ dengan nilai suseptibilitas -0,028 SI pada kedalaman 303,24 m dan -0,029 SI pada kedalaman 199,08 m. Hasil untuk lintasan d-d’ memberikan nilai suseptibilitas -0,028 SI pada kedalaman 232,02 m. Jenis batuannya pada semua lintasan tersebut adalah batuan sedimen berupa batu pasir.Kata kunci: Pemodelan 2D, Reservoar, Geotermal, Geomagnet, suseptibilitas, Mag2DC

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui struktur perlapisan bawah permukaan dan sebaran temperatur daerah panasbumi Desa Namo Kecamatan Kulawi Kabupaten Sigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode geolistrik hambatanjenis konfigurasi dipole-dipole. Data hasil pengukuran diolah menggunakan software Earthimager2D dan Rockwork. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh bahwa nilai hambatan jenis lapisan yang mengandung air panas adalah zona rekahan tersaturasi air dengan nilai hambatan jenis 22 Ωm – 430 Ωm. Temperatur maksimum yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan adalah 68oC dan temperatur minimum adalah 32oC. Berdasarkan penampang temperatur bawah permukaan arah penyebarannya dari Utara ke Selatan lokasi penelitian. Kata Kunci: Geolistrik, Hambatan Jenis, EartImager2D, Panasbumi.
