Abstract

The objective of  this study is : To know The influence of learning cooperative  STAD  model based on  interactive multi media toward  the student’s mastery concept of thermodynamics. Type of study  done ,is experimental research  by  pretest-post test control group design. Population study is XI grade of Science students in SMAN 5 Mataram. The sample was chosen two classes which taken 73 students  with random sampling which  consisted  of 37 students for experiment and 36 students for control. In this research taken through pretest and posttest by using the ability of problem solving  student test toward experiment class and control class.  The data  analyzed by using N- gain  to know the  increase percentage of problem solving of student’s ability in each class. And  ANAVA analysis to know cooperative learning model of  STAD type based on interactive multi media  toward the mastery of student concept  in thermodynamics. Analysis result  of N-gain  shows that value  reaches 70%    with high category in mastery of student concept in experiment class. Whereas, the mastery of student concept  in control class reaches 50% with average category. ANAVA analysis  in significant level  5% shows significant score gotten 0,000  0,05 from significant level used. Based on the result of ANAVA analysis could be concluded  that  the use of  cooperative learning  model of STAD type  based on interactive multimedia in  learning thermodynamics influence toward the student’s mastery concept, Keywords: Learning Cooperative, Interactive Multi Media learning, Mastery Concept and problem solving ability

Abstract

The purpose of this study is determine the effect of multi representation learning approaches to physics learning, the effect of students learning motivation on physics learning, and the interaction between the multi representational learning approach and the students learning motivation toward the learning outcomes of physics. This type of research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, so that obtained class XI MIA 1 as experiment class and class XI MIA 2 as control class. The research instrument is a multiple choice test for physics learning result of 25 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and different power of problems. The learning data of the two classes is normally distributed. Based on the homogeneity data obtained both homogeneous. Instrument to measure motivation to learn in the form of motivation questionnaire that has been tested by the expert team of validity. Data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA test. Result of data analysis show Ftable at 5% significance level equal to 3,97. Test the effect of multi representation learning approaches to physics learning equal to Fcount (8,857) > Ftable (3,97). Test the effect of students learning motivation on physics learning equal to Fcount (9.00) > Ftable (3,97). Test  the interaction between the multi representational learning approach and the students learning motivation toward the learning outcomes of physics equal to Fcount (2.00) < Ftable (3,97). Based on these facts it can be concluded that there is influence of multi representation learning approach to physics learning result, there is influence of learning motivation learners to physics learning result, and there is no interaction between multi-representation learning approach with learning motivation of learners toward physics learning result.Keywords: multi representation learning approach, physics learning result, learning motivation

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of learning model (guided discovery and conventional) against science process skills of students. (2) the effect of scientific attitudes (high and low) on learning science against science process skills of students. (3) the interaction effect between the learning model  and scientific attitude on learning science against science process skills of students. The type of this research is a quasi experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The population of this research is the students of SMPN 10 Mataram. The sample consisted of two classes defined by cluster random sampling. The instrument used consisted of a scientific attitude test a questionnaires and observation sheets science process skills. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, the analysis were performed using SPSS version 20 for windows with SPSS previously tested homogeneity and normality at significant level of 0.05. Based on the analysis we conclude : (1) there is no effect of using guided discovery model and conventional model against science process skills and critical thinking ability of students. (2)  there is an effect of scientific attitude (high and low) on learning science against science process skills of students. (3) there is no effect of interaction between the learning model  with a scientific attitude on learning science against science process skills of students.Keywords: Model of guided discovery, science process skills, scientific attitude

Abstract

This research is aimed to investigate the influence of discovery learning model and guided inquiry based experiment method to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude. This research is a quasi experiment with 2×2 of factorial design method. The population is all students of 13 classes of grade X of SMAN 2 Mataram. Sample is determined by using a cluster random sampling method. Data is analyzed by t-test statistics of two sample. The results showed that discovery learning model based experiment method has influence to the  physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude, and guided inquiry learning model based experiment method has influence to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude. Beside that, discovery learning model and guided inquiry based experiment method has influence to the physics learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitude.Keywords: discovery, guided inquiry, experiment, physics learning outcomes, and  scientific attitude

Abstract

The aim of this research is to manufacture and characterize optical properties of ZnO thin layer which is deposited on glass substrate by sol-gel spin-coating method, through the process of growing ZnO thin layer of zinc acetate dehydrate (ZnAc) precursor on glass substrate with spin speed 2000 rpm for 30 minutes on a spin coater plate. The growth of layers by the sol-gel method of spin-coating is determined by the length of time of spin rotation which is related to the thickness of the thin layer. The Samples on the substrate in anneling at 400 oC and 500 oC for 1.5 hours to obtain a thin layer of ZnO. The obtained layer was characterized by UV-Vis test to determine the optical properties of the coating which include absorbance, transmittance, and bandgap energy. UV-Vis testing states that, the higher concentration of ZnO solution then the layer looks increasingly not transparent so that the transmittance value is smaller, otherwise the absorbance value of the layer becomes higher. This is indicated by the results obtained, at 1 M molarity concentration obtained the value of transmittance (50. 40%), while at a concentration of 0.7 M obtained greater transmittance value (75.24%) at the same heating temperature 500 oC. The gap energy is a forbidden area where electrons are located between the valence bands filled by the electrons and the empty conduction bands of the electrons. With respect to the photon energy to excite the electrons, the annealing treatment will affect the magnitude of the gap energy. High annearance temperature obtained a smaller gap energy compared with lower anneling temperatures. The obtained energy gap of 2.1 eV at 400 °C annealing temperature is greater than 0.1 eV compared to the heating temperature of 500 oC at 2.0 eV.

Abstract

The research on coastal sand in Mataram-Lombok city, located at several beaches, namely, Gading, Loang Baloq, Penghulu Agung, and Ampenan, is to determine the percentage of magnetic mineral content, metal content, and oxide mineral composition contained on those sand. Iron is a sediment containing magnetite (Fe3O4), maghemit (γ-Fe2O3) and hematite (α-Fe2O3) as the main mineral and several other minerals as a supporting mineral. Magnetic separation of natural sand by using a permanent magnet successfully separates the magnetic parts (iron sand) and non-magnetic. The separation results were then analyzed for Fe metal content, the quantity of metal content, and the quantity of oxide minerals using AAS, XRD, and XRF. The result of AAS analysis showed that Fe content in natural sand in Gading , Loang Baloq , Penghulu Agung  and Ampenan Beach were 10,573 mg / gr, 12,816 mg / gr, 15,019 mg / gr, and 16,277 mg / gr, respectively. XRF analysis results in four locations have iron content respectively of 73.4%, 62.1%, 76.8%, and 69.8% in Hematite compound phase. As for the results of XRD analysis at these four locations the phases are magnetite and hematite phases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward critical thinking skills of students. This type of research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, so that obtained class XI MIA 1 as experiment class and class XI MIA 2 as control class. The research instrument is a essay test of 5 questions that have been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and different power of problems. The learning data of the two classes is normally distributed. Based on the homogenity data obtained both homogeneous. Data were analyzed by MANOVA test. Result of data analysis show significance  0,021 if  determined the level of significance 0,05 then 0,021<0,05. Based on these facts it can be concluded that there is influence of guided inquiry learning model toward critical thinking skills of students.

Abstract

Al-Zn doped SnO2 (Sn1-2xAlxZnxO2) film has been growth using the sol-gel dip coating technique. The basic materials used in this study were water, C2H5OH, SnCl2.2H2O, AlCl3 and ZnCl2 with 99% purity (merck) with doping concentration variation x = 0.000, 0.005, 0.025, and 0.050. Glass substrate with size 2.54 mm x 76.2 mm x 1 mm cleaned with detergent, soaked in 30% HCl solution For 1 day and dried at 100°C. The process of making a SnO2 sol is done by mixing the precursor with various concentrations with water and stirring using a magnetic stirrer for 30 minutes at a temperature of 80 ° C. The next step by adding ethanol, stirring at 80 ° C. for 2 hours to obtain 0.4 M sol solution The deposition of SnO2 film was carried out using a dip coater with a whitdrawl speed 12 cm/min and then heated for nucleation and grown using an electric furnace at 600 ° C for 30 minutes. This step is repeated as much as 5 repetitions to get the SnO2 film by doing Al-Zn.

Abstract

Abstrak :Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multimedia interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa,. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelasXI IPA di SMAN 5 Mataram. Sampel yang terpilih adalah dua kelas yang diambil secara simple random sampling yang berjumlah 73 siswa dengan rincian 37 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diambil melaui pemberian pretest dan posttest menggunakan soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terhadap kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis N-gain untuk mengetahui prosentase peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalh siswa pada masing-masing kelas dan analisis ANAVA untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD berbasis multimedia interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi termodinamika. Hasil analisis N-gain menunjukkan nilai mencapai 81 % pada kelas ekperimen yang menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dan bearada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa mencapaian nilai 46% yang berada pada kategori sedang. Analisis ANAVA pada taraf signifikansi 5 % menunjukkannilai signifikansi yang dihasilkan 0,000 < 0,05 dari taraf signifikansi yang digunakan.Berdasarkan hasil analisis ANAKOVA diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran Termodinamika berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran kooperatif, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif, kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Abstract

Sintesis Barium M-Hexaferrite (BaFe12-xNixO19) doping logam nikel telah dilakukan dengan metode korpresipitasi dan efeknya terhadap perubahan temperatur dan subsitusi dopan. Bahan dasar yang digunakan dalam sintesis BaCO3, FeCl3.6H2O dan logam nikel. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan variasi temperatur kalsinasi 80, 400, 600 dan 800°C selama 4 jam dengan variasi dopan 0; 0,4; 0,7 dan 0,9. Hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy) merek Shimidzu tipe 8400 s. Hasil pembentuka fasa dari barium M-hexaferrite (BaFe12-xNixO19) diketahui melalui data FTIR seiring dengan meningkatkan temperatur kalsinasi yang digunakan diperoleh puncak yang muncul pada rentang bilangan gelombang 800 - 1650 cm-1 semakin sedikit, sehingga pembentukan fasa barium M-hexaferrite yang signifikan terbentuk pada temperatur kalsinasi 800 °C dan pada variasi dopan 0,7.
