Abstract

Abstract: The use ofquantum teaching technique to improve the learning competence of mathematic in fragment topic to the students of Elementary School in the Class IV. The aims of this research was to describe the use of quantum teaching to improve the learning process of mathematic in fragment topic to the students in the class IV.The subject of the research was the 25 students of elementary students in the class IV. It was a collaborative Classroom Action Research in which the writer did some steps in each cycle, namely: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of the research showed that the proper implementation of quantum teaching technique could improve the student’s competence of mathematic in fragment topic, the improvement could be proved by the facts that the teacher got scores 86,3% and the 92% of students scores were above the criteria minimum scores. Key words: quantum teaching technique, mathematic, and fragment   Abstrak: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran quantum teaching dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Matematika Tentang Pecahan pada Siswa Kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan  model pembelajaran quantum teaching dalam peningkatan pembelajaran matematika tentang pecahan di  kelas  V SD. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Tiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching dengan langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika tentang pecahan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, yang dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi pelaksanaan model pembelajaran quantum teaching oleh guru mencapai 86,3% dan persentase ketuntasan siswa mencapai 92%.   Kata kunci:  quantum teaching, pembelajaran matematika, pecahan.

Abstract

Abstract: The value of local wisdom ?Perdikan Cahyana? which became the philosophy and principles of life in society would be more meaningful if it was manifested in learning. As a form of local wisdom manifestation in learning of Indonesian and Literature subject, especially fiction material is to develop instructional material which was meaningful and relevant to the environment and local wisdom values of the students. This research used research and development (R&D) method to develop instructional material of fiction story that was suitable with the students? cultural needs, contexts, and then it was validated based on the criteria of the eligibility of instructional material. The local wisdom integration in the instructional material did not damage the material content, but it could strenghten the material. The development of this instructional material based on the local wisdom of ?Perdikan Cahyana? which was aimed to achieve the learning objectives and also to converse and internalize the values of local wisdom had meet the instructional material feasibility based on the elibility criteria of the contents, language and readability, materials presentation, and graphics.Keywords: fiction material, perdikan cahyana, local culture.
