Abstract

Folding bike is represent the correct answer to various factor of ordinary bicycle usage constraint as the alternative transportation in easy to portable and easy to kept with the small room volume. With the condition needed by new research design in folding bike development to utiliza to get the folding bike reliable, strong, efficient and light. Development and research conducted cover the analysis calculation strength of folding bike by considering dynamic condition which extreme at the time of cycling. The mathematical modeling is to get the formulation which is needed to strength the calculation  to design of folding bike which is adapted a dynamic condition maximum. The condition of dynamic obtained by conducting to perception form the surface walking at the of cycling. Finished, the result to mathematical modeling is get to the formulation of force folding bike be happened are P ) with the consideration analyses strength and the dynamic examination at concept of early design, expected when implementation at folding bike which in fact or process the manufacturing will be adapted by a terget expected that is strength and light.

Abstract

Strength examination in the early designed for folding bike to very need as eligibility test to successful of designed. The examination designed of a folding bike to through the software adapted for a common dynamic condition and extreme a found in roadway that is surging and jumping street. This examination is needed to the strong product, rely and efficiency to materials usage so that result of designed later can compete in marketing of facet is quality and also price. The software usage as dynamic examination early very is needed bacause evaluated from facet of is expense of very cheap and efficient. Software MSC. Visual nastran represent one of software able to be used for the examination of with the dynamic condition. By using software MSC. Visual nastram to usage the examination of folding bike designed to get the graph of tension change, strain and deflection of during condition of modeling examination. Pursuant to graph yielded by using materials AISI 1020 at construction materials for folding bike, the obtained maximum tension ( that happened is especial bar 1 is 20,0 N /  by maximum deflection is 0,1420 mm. With the consideration analyses the examination of effect of dynamic maximum at the concept to early design through the usage software, expected when implementation of the folding bike whice in fact or process the manufacturing will be adapted by a target expected that is strength, cheap and light.

Abstract

Analyses vibration at design folding bike as the construction which is always to experience of force dynamic the is much needed as eligibility test to successfully of design. The happily of vehicle at the moment represent is one especial condition. Analyzes the vibration will give the information of designer about safety and freshman to folding bike during movement. Result of data obtained from simulation of software MSC. Visual Nastran that is in the form of graph tension, strain and deflection during movement, and by using various equation of vibration will be obtained value of frequency of natural vibration, frequency damped vibration, damping coefficient (adjacent viscous and damping ratio). Pursuant to graph yielded by using materials AISI 1020 at construction folding bike, the damping factor ( x ) that happened is 0.15915 With the consideration analyzes the vibration and also assess the damping factor that happened to designed, earn we determine the storey leveling of freshmen of designed folding bike. The change of designed and also component addition can be done is designer in order to reaching freshmen leveling are accepted by market.

Abstract

Recently, rotational engines widely used in industries. Engine’s speed come higher and higher so that the demand on its reliability increase as well. High reliability will be obtained if the cause of failure is known and overcome. One machine element which generally has shorter life time is bearing. Damage on bearings is accelerated by the increase of load due to misalignment. Related with the prevention of bearing’s damage, study on shaft misalignment has been carried out. The aim of the study was to find techniques to obtain an acceptable alignment procedure. In practice the machine’s foot shifting determined manually using graphs and side view of the quantity of misalignment. This study is carried out using graphic technique in determining the shifting quantity of machine’s foot using Matlab. By this technique and computer program it can be determined the quantity of misalignment on a machine and what should be done to shift the machine. Using this technique and computer program the calculation process can be done more quickly and accurately. Machine’s foot shifting in alignment process in order to getan accurate misalignment measurement data use a dial indicator with a variety of methods such as face and rim, face to face, reverse indicator, double radial, and the shaft to coupling spool.

Abstract

This study focused on the manufacture of grain drying equipment was needed by farmers. Much research has been done by previous researchers about how to drain the rice in a relatively short time. And already there are many methods and tools of research that has been done including changing the form of construction, replacing the material in order to produce a good quality grain drying. In this paper, the authors conducted a study on how to make grain dryers and do research drying system. This research looks at how adaptable it’s in drying grain. The method I use is the reset method by comparing the natural drying and drying device made. Research using laboratory test equipment such as Airflow, digital scales and thermometers. Test data taken (values drought grain) using measurement methods directly on objects. Test data was analyzed using Microsoft Excel software. The results of processing these data it is concluded that the optimum conditions for drying grain with it’s that are made are in position 1, the air temperature is 420C grain drying, grain flow rate 0.1 Lt / dt, hot air flow rate 0.68 m / dt, grain drying value 1060 gr/lt.

Abstract

Metoda mengamati warna urin sudah dilakukan sejak lama untuk melengkapi diagnosa penyakit yang diderita seorang pasien. Pengamatan dengan panca indra vision manusia dilakukan untuk meneliti dan menganalisa warna urin seseorang dan menghubungkannya dengan penyakit yang diderita pasien tersebut. Fungsi vision manusia dapat digantikan dengan sistem komputer yang dilengkapi dengan alat yang mampu mendeteksi warna seperti kamera maupun jenis sensor warna lainnya. Warna objek dapat dibedakan dengan menguraikan komponen warna objek tersebut berupa komponen warna dalam domain frekuensi maupun dalam domain spasial. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena setiap warna memiliki nilai panjang gelombang tertentu dan dituangkan dalam nilai frekuensi. Sensor warna TCS 3200 menghasilkan sinyal output dengan frekuensi yang berbeda berdasarkan warna yang discan oleh foto dioda pada sensor tersebut. pengenalan suatu objek ditandai dengan bentuk, warna dan variable lainnya dari objek tersebut. Ekstrak ciri dari suatu objek dapat dituangkan dalam bentuk pola data maupun histogram yang mencirikan warna objek tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat histogram dan pola data warna urin berdasarkan indikasi kondisi yang diderita seorang pasien. Sebagai acuan warna yang digunakan adalah warna dasar urinalisis hasil penelitian di Cleveland Clinic, di Ohio tahun 2013. Dari hasil penelitian telah didapatkan pola data dan histogram warna yang berbeda berdasarkan warna urin yang dideteksi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan pada proses identifikasi penyakit melalui warna urin secara online.

Abstract

Tune up combustion motorcycle engine made in order to obtain a perfect engine combustion category with maximum engine performance and fuel efficiency. Motorcycles with 4-stroke petrol injection system has facilities to process tune up in the form of engine control unit and engine scanner tool. While petrol 4 stroke motorcycle carburetor system is not equipped with facilities such as a motorcycle injection system, consequently, tune up the engine combustion process is done manually. Category of the combustion engine can be determined based on the levels of emissions of HC, CO, CO2 and O2 contained in the exhaust gases of vehicles. This study aims to create a system to detect and display patterns of data categories motorcycle combustion gasoline engine carburetor system through the detection of exhaust emissions. This system is made using four gas sensors are integrated with the system FPGA (Field Progrmable Gate Array) as the main system and a display system using a PC or Laptop. Tests performed on a number of motorcycles with the brand, manufacturer and year of manufacture are different. Detection results shown in graphical form a pattern data categories perfect combustion engine and the data pattern of incomplete combustion category with a response time to 10 seconds. This system is expected to be used as an alternative tool for mechanics in performing tune up combustion motorcycle engine.

Abstract

Engine scanner unit is a tool used by mechanical power to know the condition of car engine combustion at the time of tune up process done.The level of elements and compounds that dominant in determining categories of combustion of gasoline fuel car engines through the levels of elements and compounds contained in exhaust emissions are Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Oxygen (O2). Complete combustion category produces maximum power, fuel efficiency and emission levels according to the threshold. This occurs when there is a balance of the amount of fuel, airflow and ignition in the engine combustion chamber. Elements and compounds contained in car exhaust emissions can be detected with sensors that are sensitive to elemental levels and these compounds are HC, CO, CO2, and O2 sensors. This study aims to display the data pattern category of combustion engine through exhaust emissions based on multi sensor detection processed with signal processing system in the form of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) process. Furthermore, data pattern is performed in accordance with the category of combustion engine detected. The system is designed with embedded system using Field Programable Gate Array (FPGA) myRIO and LabVIEW programming. The results in the test displays the data pattern and the comparison test of the reference data pattern with the data pattern of the detection result. The comparison test result of data pattern similar to 87% complete engine combustion category and similar to incomplete combustion category 90%.
