Abstract

High blood pressure disease shows enhanced from to year. High blood pressure at influence by behaviour factor that is food pattern unfavourable likes to consumption over source sodium, less to consumpt fibrous food likes fruit and vegetable, risk factor of the increasing of blood pressure besides fat factor and Body Mass Index (BMI). The increasing of blood pressure also influenced by genetic factor.fat consumtion and obesitas. The purpose of the research is to detect the correlation of fiber consumption, sodium intake, fat and BMI with blood pressure in hypertension patient in care at Hospital Tugurejo SemarangResearch kind uses method explanatory research at clinic nutrient area with a cross sectional approached. The size of population as much as 63 person and sample 55 person, was taken by purposive sampling. Data becollected by using direct interview methode in sufferer. Primary data that is gatherred to cover: food-stuff consumption that contain fiber by recall use food frequency and questionnaire. The normality of the data was tested by kolmogorov smirnov test. The correlation of variables, were analysed by correlation pearson product moment test if the distribution of data is normal and use spearman rank test if the data not normally distribution.There are no correlation between fiber, fat, sodium and BMI with blood pressure. Necessary done continuation research to detect factors that causes hypertension besides sodium intake, fat, fiber and BMI by using different technique and method and with mare many of sample

Abstract

Chronic renal failure or end-stage renal disease is a progressive destruction of kidney structure and continuously. Renal function that can not be recovered where the body's ability to maintain metabolic balance, and fluid electrolyte failure, which led to uremia (Elizabeth, 2009). The purpose of this study was to determine the "Relationship with Protein Intake Levels of urea, creatinine and Hb Levels in Patients with Chronic Renal Failure in the Outpatient Hemodialysis Tugurejo Hospital Semarang" This type of research is Clinical Nutrition descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. Population in this study were all out patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at Tugurejo Hospital, Semarang. The research was done at June-July 2013. the criteria of patient are had urea levels> 40 g / dl and creatinine levels > 1.3 g /dl, able to communicate, aged 17 years old and above, we gained the sample as many as 35 pasient.  To collecting the data, we used interview  with food frequency tools. To test the correlation between protein intake and levels of urea, creatinin, blood hemoglobin level, we  used the Rank Spearman test and  to tested  the normality of data we used the kolmogorov-smirnov test The results showed that there are 21 (60,0%)  patients with kidney failure are  male  more than female. The  aged of 41-60 years old are  17 pasient  (48.6%), pasient with  normal nutritional status are 17 people (48.6%).  The average of protein intake is 80,02 gram per day. All of patient (100%) have  blood urea levels over than the normal level. and the blood creatinine levels likewise all of patient ,  men (20 patient) and  women (14 patient) have blood Hb level  in the category entirely lacking. Statistical test result showed that there are  a corelation between protein intake with the levels of urea (p value 0,019 <0,05),  protein intake with the level of  kreatinin (p value 0,044<0,05), and protein intake with the Hb levels (p value 0,024< 0,05)

Abstract

Preface: The life quality of breast cancer patients become an attention from several overseas institution. The decreasing life quality of breast cancer patient mostly caused by nutrition alteration resulting of weight loss and decreasing level of albumin.  The level of albumin on breast cancer patients is important because it is a parameter of nutriotional status. The purpose of this study is to know the correlation between protein intake, food source of vitamin A, vitamin E and zinc with albumin level on breast cancer inpatient in Tugurejo Hospital Semarang Research Method :This study is explanatory research that aiming to breast cancer inpatient in Tugurejo Hospital Semarang.Correlation analysis of variables is using pearson correlation Research Results: There is correlation between intake of protein and zinc with respondent?s albumin level (Protein p:0,034; Zink:0,033).There is no correlation between intake of vitamin A, vitamin E with respondent?s albumin level (vitamin A p:0,542 ;vitamin E: 0,468) . Conclusion : Protein and zinc intake may affect the albumin levels. Abstract

Latar belakang: Kontrasepsi hormonal dibagi dalam dua jenis suntikan yaitu Depomedroksiprogesteron Asetat (DMPA) yang diberikan setiap 3 (tiga) bulan dan DepoNoretisteron Enantat (Depo Noristerat) yang diberikan setiap 1 (satu) bulan dengan cara disuntik intramuscular. Masing - masing kontrasepsi hormonal memiliki keuntungan dan kerugian yang harus disesuaikan dengan penggunanya.Efek samping dari penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik antara lain gangguan haid, permasalahan berat badan, sakit kepala, hipertensi dan stroke. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kejadian hipertensi, peningkatan berat badan, dan perubahan pola menstruasi dengan lama penggunaan suntik (DMPA) pada wanita usia subur di Desa Betek Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Blora. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diskriptif korelasi dengan  metode pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua wanita usia subur yang menggunakan kontrasepsi hormonal suntik di Desa Betek Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Blora dan sampel yang diambil adalah seluruh populasi yaitu berjumlah 66 orang. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kejadianhipertensi, peningkatan berat badan, perubahan pola menstruasi dan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi suntik DMPA. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik Chi Square.Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik diperoleh sebagianbesar responden mengalami kejadian hipertensi yaitu sebanyak 37 orang (56,1%), yang mengalami peningkatan berat badan tinggi yaitu sebanyak 28 orang (42,4%), yang mengalami gangguan pola menstruasi yaitu sebanyak 40 orang (60,6%), dan yang menggunakan KB suntik selama 2-5 tahun yaitu sebanyak 30 orang (45,5%). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kejadianhipertensidenganlama penggunaankontrasepsi suntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,000<?(0,05), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatanberatbadandenganlamapenggunaankontrasepsisuntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,013<?(0,05), Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara perubahan pola menstruasi denganlama penggunaan kontrasepsisuntik DMPA, dengan nilai p-value 0,002<?(0,05).Kesimpulan dan saran: Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik tersebut makadiharapkan masyarakat atau calon akseptor sebelum memilih alat kontrasepsi hendaknya menggali informasi terlebih dahulu tentang semua alat kontrasepsi dan efek sampingnya, terutama pada akseptor yang masih dalam usia  reproduksi disarankan menggunakan kontrasepsi non hormonal karena untuk meminimalisirkan efek samping dari alat kontrasepsi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan serat dengan kadar gula darah, kadarkolesterol total dan status gizi pada penderita diabetes mellitus tipe 2 pasien rawat jalan di RumahSakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang.Secara khusus mendiskripsikan karakteristik sample ,jumlah asupan serat , kadar gula darah , kadar kolesterol total ,status gizi ,menganalisis hubunganasupan serat dengan kadar gula darah ,menganalisis hubungan asupan serat dengan kadar kolesteroltotal menganalisis hubungan asupan serat dengan status gizi.Metode penelitian dengan Explanotry Reseach dengan pendekatan cross sectional denganmenggunakan 35 sampel. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji kenormalan data dengan teknik ujiKolmogorov Smirnov (Uji K-S), jika distribusi normal gunakan uji korelasi person dan jika distribusitidak normal gunakan uji Rank Sperman.Karakteristik Penderita Diabetus Millitus Penderita DM tipe 2 di rs roemani : 68.57% perempuan,65.72% berusia antara 45 ? 68 tahun, 42.86% sebagai ibu rumah tangga, 57.15% asupan seratnya 7.3-10%., 77.14% mempunyai kadar gula darah 200 ? 250 mg/dl., 57.14% mempunyai kadar kolesteroltotal 80 ? 200 mg/d, 57.4% mempunyai status gizi yang gemuk tingkat ringan dan tingkat berat.,. Adahubungan antara asupan serat dengan kadar gula darah p=0.001 (p<0.05), Ada hubungan antaraasupan serat dengan kadar kolesterol total p=0.002 (p<0.05) ;Ada hubungan antara asupan seratdengan status gizi p=0.001 (p<0.05)Simpulan : Asupan serat berhubungan erat dengan kadar gula darah, kolesterol total dan status gizipada penderita diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Abstract. Coronary heart disease becomes a major cause of death because of the increase of cholesterol level in blood.Tempe and bekatulare said to be able to reduce blood fat levels. Problem: Howis the effect of Furfures Soybean TempeNugget oncholesterol levels of white ratRattusnurvegicushypercholesterolemiablood.Objective: To demonstrate the effect of Furfures Soybean Nugget on cholesterol levels of white rats Rattusnurvegicus hypercholesterolemia blood.Method: using laboratory experimental design with Randomizet Pre and Post Contro -group Only in hypercholesterolemia mice. The micewere given nugget 25%, 50%, 75% and Controlled for 21 days. The statistical analysis in this study was different test of Anova (analysis of varian) and continued with Benferoni test. The result shows that there is a significant gap of decreasing cholesterol level between controlled group with treatment 1, 2, 3 but it was not significant between the treatment 1,2 and 3. It can be concluded that giving Furfures Soybean Nugget can reduce cholesterol level in blood when it compared with not given treatment. Reducing cholesterol level with 1, 2, 3 treatmentsare not different significantly.

Abstract

Ricebran is a by product of rice milling finely texture containing bioactive components of food that is Orizanol and Tocopherol are beneficial for health. Bran can be obtain as much as 10 percent of the rice mill. Data from the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2012 the national rice production is producing 54.74 million tons 5.47 tons Ricebran. The purpose is increased skill and knowledge for functional food. Research methods is Ricebran with potential raw materials were abundant amount can be use as a basic ingredient of functional food products industry. Food diversivication program launching by the Ministry of Agriculture pemeintah through various programs realizing by the processing and marketing of agricultural products starting with the fortification of foodstuffs, food industry development of basic materials such as functional food ricebran so relating with food consumption patterns of safe, high quality and nutritionally balanced. Activities undertaken in this research is give training both in theory and practice and mentoring in the manufacturing, packaging and marketing of products. Abstract

Hypertension is a condition when a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal or chronically in a long time. Objective the general objective of this study was to determine the relationship intake of fat, fiber and BMI with blood pressure in hypertensive patients hospitalized at the Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. The type of research conducted explanatory research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples of 25 respondents consisting of hypertensive patients with complications and without complications of hospitalized at the hospitasls Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. Analysis of the data normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov because the number of samples taken > 15 samples. Bivariate analyzes to examine the relationship between two variables using Spearman Rank test for abnormal distribution data. The result showed 72.0% of samples largely female based on the largest age groupranging from 51-60 years of age amounted to 36.0% of the sample, and the nutritional status of most is overweight / obese amounted to 68.0%. Based on systolic blood pressure and diastolic hypertension classified at the highest level is very mild, very mild systolic blood pressure by 40.0% of the sample and the diastolic blood pressure is very light for 60.0% of the sample. The intake of fat (> 30%) as many as 68.0% of the samples, not enough fiber intake (<20 g) as much as 68.0% of the sample. Statistical analysis between fat intake with systolic blood pressure (p value = 0.000 <0.05), fat intake with diastolic blood pressure (pvalue = 0.004 <0.05), fiber intake with systolic blood pressure (p value = 0.001 <0.05), fiber intake with diastolic blood pressure (p value = 0.008 <0.05), whereas BMI relationship with systolic blood pressure (p value = 0.000 <0.05), BMI with diastolic blood pressure ( p value = 0.002 <0.05). The conlusion is the study shows that there is a relationship between the intake of fat, fiber , and BMI with systolic and diastolic blood pressure.  Keywords: Fat intake, fiber intake, BMI, Blood Pressure, Hypertension

Abstract

Prevalensi penyakit kardiovaskular terus  meningkat sebagai akibat dari perubahan pola makan yang berdampak pada  ketidaknormalan profil lipid dan stres oksidatif . Upaya untuk memperbaiki profil lipid dengan mengkonsumsi bahan makanan mengandung senyawa antioksidan yang berpotensi memperbaiki profil lipid darah. Tujuan penelitian untuk  memperoleh  gambaran kandungan sebagai antioksidan pada formula  kombinasi tepung tempe kedelai  dengan  bekatul.Metode penelitian : Jenis penelitian eksperimental untuk mengetahui kandungan antioksidan yang paling optimum dari formula. Pembuatan formula, (1) tepung tempe kedelai  kuning + tepung bekatul putih, (2 tepung tempe kedelai  hitam + tepung bekatul putih (3) tepung tempe kedelai  kuning + tepung bekatul merah , (4) tepung tempe kedelai  hitam + tepung bekatul merah, dengan komposisi 1:1 dan berat masing-masing 112 gram, pemanis non kalori 3 gram  dan  perasa makanan 3 gram,  dilarutkan dengan air dingin sebanyak 250 cc,Analisa zat gizi menggunakan metode AOAC, 2005Analisa data : Data yang diperoleh dirata-rata dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel, kemudian dibandingkan antar perlakuanHasil Penelitian: Kombinasi TKK+TBM dengan komposisi 1:1 memiliki kandungan isovlavon yang lebih tinggi sedangkan kandungan vitamin E yang paling tinggi terdapat pada kombinasi  TKK+TBP . Ada perbedaan kandungan protein, lemak maupun vitamin E dan KH  antar kelompok perlakuan p? 0.05

Abstract

Cancer is a disease caused by the growth of body tissue cells are abnormal and out of control and can disrupt and damage the cells of other tissues. Malnutrition is a condition that often occurs in patients with cancer. We investigated the associations of protein intake with albumin levels in cancer patienst at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang. This research was explanatory research, to determined the association between the variables in the study. There were 14 samples, were taken using purposive sampling method. Univariate analysis was used to present frequency, tendency and standard deviation. Bivariate analysis using Pearson correlation. Protein intake was associated with albumin levels positively (p=0,030,r=0,513). There was a association of protein intake with albumin levels in cancer patients at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang.
