Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze: 1) influence the perceptions of citizens on subjects of learning achievements learning math, 2) influence the utilization of computer media in learning achievement against learning math, 3) the influence of learning motivation of learning achievement against learning math. The population in this research is the entire class of X consisting of 3 classes numbered 107 in high school C Pack equivalent Center Of Learning Society Taruna Jaya. The conclusion of the research was the influence there of: 1) the perception of students in subjects with learning achievements of students, with regression Ŷ = 2,181+ 0,877 X1 which increases 1 score variable perception of citizens will increase learning achievements learning math 3,058; 2) the utilization of computer media with the learning achievements of students, with regression Ŷ = 21,811+ 0,716 X2 which increases 1 score variable will increase the use of computer media score achievement learning math of 22,527.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis: 1) pengaruh persepsi warga belajar pada mata pelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, 2) pengaruh pemanfaatan media komputer dalam pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, 3) pengaruh motivasi belajar warga belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X yang terdiri atas 3 kelas berjumlah 107 di Paket C setara SMA PKBM Taruna Jaya. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh antara: 1) persepsi siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan koefisien regresi Ŷ = 2,181+ 0,877 X1 dimana kenaikan 1 skor variabel persepsi warga belajar akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika 3,058; 2) pemanfaatan media komputer dengan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan koefisien regresi Ŷ = 21,811+ 0,716 X2 dimana kenaikan 1 skor variabel penggunaan media komputer akan meningkatkan skor prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 22,527.Kata kunci : motivasi, pemanfaatan media komputer,dan persepsi

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between the self management a means of learning and interest on the use of ICT good haphazardly  (correlation simple) or jointly (multiple correlation) by accomplishments learning about mathematics. Population in this research is all the students in the class XI  IPA in schools 5 Bandar Lampung consisting of four classes by the number of students 159. The sample uses the technique proportional random sampling obtained from 60 students. Data collected by kuisioner and tests and analyzed with correlation. Conclusion research the relation of a positive, closely, and significant: 1 ) the management of self by accomplishments learning about mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0,730; 2 ) a means of learning by accomplishments learning about mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0,666; 3 ) an interest in the use of ICT by accomplishments learning about mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0,661; 4 ) management and means learn jointly by accomplishments learning about mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0,737; 5 ) a means of students learning and interest on the use of ICT jointly by accomplishments learning about mathematics of sel, management with a correlation coefficient of 0,708; 6 ) and interest the students in the use of ICT jointly by accomplishments learning about mathematics management self with a correlation coefficient of 0,742, 7 ) a means of learning, closely and interest the students in the use of ICT jointly by accomplishments learning about mathematics with a correlation coefficient of 0,742.Kata kunci : manajemen diri, sarana belajar, minat,  ICT, prestasi

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate whether cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill. This research design was pretest-posttest control design. This research population was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 10 classes. This research samples were students of VIII.1 and VIII.2 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was found that students’ mathematical communication skill who followed cooperative learning model of three-step interview type was higher than direct learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran koope­ra­tif tipe three-step interview dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mate­matis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gadingrejo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 10 kelas. Sam­­pel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.2 yang dipilih dengan tek­nik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti mo­del pembelajaran kooperatif tipe three-step interview lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran langsung. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bah­­wa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe three-step interview dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran langsung, three-step interview

The design of this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th in even semester of SMPN 2 Trimurjo in academic year of 2013/2014 and the research samples were students of VII-A and VII-B class who were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type could increase students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Popu­lasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 2 Trimurjo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VII-B yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of the learning model of TPS viewed by students understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014 as many as 262 students and distributed into 7 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIB class which were taken randomly. This research used one group posttest only design. The instrument of this research was test of mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on the analysis of data, the cooperative learning model of TPS type was ineffective viewed by understanding of mathematical concepts of students.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TPS ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 262 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIB yang diambil secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group posttest only design. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know whether the learning model of two stay two stray (TSTS) could increase the student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. TSTS was a learning model which demanded students to explain work result of their group to other group. The design which was used in this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Natar in academic year of 2013/2014. The samples of this research were students of VIIA and VIIB class which were taken by purposive sampling technique with considering to the classes were taught by the same teacher. The research data was obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on the hypothesis test result and discussion, it was concluded that learning model of TSTS could increase student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. TSTS merupakan model pembelajaran yang menuntut siswa untuk menjelaskan hasil kerja kelompoknya pada kelompok lain. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Natar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa kelas diajar oleh guru yang sama. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran TSTS dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: konvensional, model pembelajaran TSTS, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research aimed to know whether the implementation of problem-based learning model could increase students mathematical representations skill. This research population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Tamansiswa Telukbetung in academic year of 2013/2014 as many as 190 students that was distributed into five classes and this research samples were students of VII A and VII C class that were selected by purposive random sampling technique. The design of research was the pretest-posttest control group design. Based on hypothesis testing, the increasing of mathematical representations skill by the implementation of problem-based learning model was equal to the conventional learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of problem-based learning model couldn’t increase students mathematical representations skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Tamansiswa Telukbetung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 190 siswa yang terdistribusi ke dalam lima kelas dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII A dan VII C yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis, peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah sama dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah tidak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan representasi matematis, konvensional, pembelajaran berbasis masalah

ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA MATEMATIKA

Abstract

This qualitative-descriptive research aimed to know the student’s errors in solving mathematics word problems viewed by four aspects, such as understanding the question, making model of mathematics, doing calculation, and making conclusions. The subjects of this research were students of VII B class of SMPN 28 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2013/2014. The collecting data was done by test and interview. The data analysis was done by data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Based on the result of research, students’ errors in solving mathematics word problem were: (1) understanding the question (81,03%) (2) making  model of mathematics (56,03%) (3) doing calculation (56,90%) (4) making conclusions (57,76%). The biggest student’s error was understanding the question aspect. This case was caused students weren’t able to solve question systematically.Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika ditinjau dari empat aspek, yaitu memahami soal, membuat model matematika, melakukan komputasi, dan menarik kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B SMPN 28 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika adalah: (1) memahami soal (81,03%) (2) membuat model matematika (56,03%) (3) melakukan komputasi (56,90%) (4) menarik kesimpulan (57,76%).  Kesalahan terbesar siswa adalah aspek memahami soal. Hal ini disebabkan siswa tidak mampu mengerjakan soal secara sistematis.Kata kunci: kesalahan, matematika, penyelesaian soal cerita

Abstract

This research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding which was taught by cooperative learning model of think pair square type. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control grup design. The research population was all students of grade 8th of SMP Negeri 10 Metro City in the academic year of 2013/2014. The research samples were students of VIIIC and VIIID class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was think pair square model could increase the mathematical conceptual understanding of grade 8th students of SMP Negeri 10 Metro City in the academic year of 2013/2014.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair square. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Metro tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Abstract

The population of this research was grade 9th students of junior high school state of 2 of Adiluwih in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of IXD and IXB class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of NHT type was effective viewed by student’s mathematical communication ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Adiluwih tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IXD dan IXB yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design.
