Abstract

Karyawan merupakan salah satu aset yang terpenting bagi sebuah perusahaan pada umumnya karena manfaatnya bagi kesuksesan perusahaan dalam memberikan produk dan jasa bagi  konsumennya. Pada PT. Sandang Asia Maju Abadi (SAMA) ditemukan tingkat turnover karyawan yang tinggi yang menyebabkan permasalahan terhadap proses produksi garment karena kekurangan tenaga kerja. Turnover yang tinggi menjadi sebuah masalah bagi PT. SAMA seiring dengan usahanya untuk bertahan dan berkembang dalam bisnis. Pembentukan komitmen organisasi disertai dengan peningkatan terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya merupakan cara yang penting untuk dilakukan guna membuat karyawan tetap tinggal dan bekerja lebih baik lagi pada perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara variabel yang diteliti dan memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengembangan sumber daya manusia,  terdapat 3 faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi yang diteliti diantaranya yaitu perceived organizational support (POS), pengalaman kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Sebanyak 100 kuesioner disebar dan terdapat 96 kuesioner yang sah, pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS 2.0 M3. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa POS berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengalaman kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi serta menghasilkan rekomendasi bagi perbaikan kedepan terkait POS, pengalaman kerja dan kepuasan kerja.   Employee are one of the most important asset for company in general because they benefit to the companys success in providing products and services for consumers. On PT. Sandang Asia Maju Abadi (SAMA) found that high employee turnover rates are causing problems to the garment production process due to labor shortages. High turnover also becomes problem for PT. SAMA as his efforts to survive and thrive in business. Establishment of organizational commitment is accompanied by  increase of influence  factors that most important thing to do in order to make employees stay longer and work better in the company. Research objective are to determine relationship between variables under study and provide recommendations for the development of human resources, there are 3 factors that influence organizational commitment which examined perceived organizational support (POS), job experience and job satisfaction. 100 questionnaires distributed and there are 96 valid questionnaires, data processing and analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with software SmartPLS 2.0 M3.. Results proves that POS has positive effect on job satisfaction, job experience has positive effect on job satisfaction and job satisfaction has  positive effect on organizational commitment and generate recommendations for future improvements related to POS, job experience and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Physiological response are influenced by environmental conditions, such as climate change and the feed. Limitied of land crop and farm cause difficulties to find grass as fiber feed. This research aimed to study the effect of dried kale and bean sprouts waste for substitution the grass on the physiological response of male javanese thin thailed sheep (under one years old) and their palatability. Feed treatment were : P1 (50% concentrate+50% grass), P2 (50% concentrate+50% dried kale), and P3 (50% concentrate+50% bean sprouts waste) respectively. The parameters were palatability, rectal temperature, heartbeat and respiration frequency. Analyze method used completely randomized design with three treatments of feeding and 4 replications was used. Data processed by ANOVA and Tukey’s for further test. The experimental result showed that feed treatment were not significant (P>0.05) to rectal temperature, heartbeat and respiration frequency. The best palatability seen on P2 feed (50% consentrate + 50% mung bean sprout waste). The conclusion were bean sprout waste and dried kale can be used to substitute grass, they had a good palatability and they did not give bad effect to physiological of javanese thin tailed sheep.The conclusion of this study, bean sprout waste and dried kale has a good palatability and were not significant to physiological response of javanese thin tailed sheep so it can be used to substitute grass.Keywords: dried kale, physiological responses, javanese thin tailed sheep, bean sprout waste, palatability

Abstract

This research was undertaken to evaluate energy utilization and blood  metabolites status of male Indonesian local sheep involving nutrient balances and using urea space techniques for measurement body composition. Factorial randomized completely design was used in this study using 16 growing male local sheep. Factor A was breed which consisted of 8 Garut sheep (av.BW 14.90 kg) and 8 Jonggol sheep (av.BW 13.60 kg). Factor B was different ration which received of diet containing Indigoferasp. and sproutbean waste. The ration offered were pellets containing CP around 16% and energy 15.6 MJ GE/kg. Energy balance and blood metabolites studies were conducted during three-months trial. Intake, digestibility, urinary and metabolism variables were measured based on total collection method.  Methane energy was measured by rusitec technique and methane gas production multiplied by calory equivalent value of methane. Energy retention (RE) was measured by urea space  technique. Heat production was calculated from ME-RE. Plasma glucose, cholesterol and urea-N were measured by using spectrophotometry. Results showed that there were signiϐicant differences of energy intakes, digestibilities and metabolism among the rations. Animals fed with sproutbean waste ration has higher energy utilization compared to those fed Indigofera sp ration. There were no signiϐicant different for all blood metabolite variables among breed and its interaction between combination treatments. It is concluded that sproutbean waste in local sheep ration has higher energy utilization and daily gain than Indigofera sp.

Abstract

Local beef cattle is still the major source of domestic beef consumption, yet their productivity and quality is relatively low. This study was aimed to investigate productivity and meat quality traits of local beef cattle through fattening using cereals based concentrate containing different energy level. Nine Ongole cattle with average initial liveweight of 254.67 ? 20.7 kg and age between I1-I2 permanent incisor teeth were used in the study. They were fattened for four months and alloted into three different energy rations; they were low (ER) 57.88% TDN, medium (ES) 63.72% TDN, and high (ET) 69.67% TDN. The three rations had simmilar protein contents, between 12.42-12.96%. Observed parameters included cattle performance (ration and nutrition dry mater intake, daily gain, and feed conversion), carcass traits (carcass weight and percentage, fat thickness, and loin eye area at the 12th rib), and meat quality traits (pH, water holding capacity, tenderness, cooking loss, marbling score, and meat color). The results showed that cattle fed with high energy (ET) ration had the highest body weight and marbling score, and more efficient in feed conversion than medium (ES) and low energy (ER) rations. Local beef cattle productivity and there meat quality could be improve through fattening using high energy cereals based concentrate.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of coat color on behavior and itineraries of kacang goat during grazing time. This research used 9 females and 3 males kacang goat. Behavior observed by one zero sampling method and analyzed using t-Test at level 5%. The result indicated that ingestion and browsing of brown goat (30.91±2.87%; 8.75±3.10%) higher than black goat (28.57±2.69%; 6.07±4.78%), while black goat showed more locomotion (33.26±4.50%) than brown goat (29.70±4.63%). Grazing, panting, and resting behaviors, and distance traveled of black goat (22.56±2.63%; 4.48±4.02%; 2.34±2.97%; 483.48±133.16 m) were not different with brown goat (22.16±2.90%; 4.59±3.71%; 2.64±1.52%; 392.29±81.19 m). Result also  indicated that goat showed more grazing than browsing with high preference in you ng grass than old grass,  legume, and weed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe, analyze and explain the effect of “on the job embeddedness to organization citizenship behaviour and employee performance on nurse staff Permata Bunda Hospital Of Malang City. The type of research used explanatory. The population in this research is all nurse staff of Permata Bunda Hospital of Malang City, which amounts to 95 people. The sample used ini this research is saturated samples, which took the total number of nurses there are 95 people. The result of research analysis showed that based on the formulation of the problem known variable on the job embeddedness has a significant influence and positive effect on the OCB variable that is equal to 0,321. Variable on the job embeddedness have positive and significant effect to employee performance that is equal to 0,421. OCB variable have positive and significant effect to employee performance that is equal to 0,449. Based on the calculation in search of indirect influence, it can be concluded that the direct influence between on the job embeddedness on employee performance is stroger than indirect influence between on the job embeddedness on employee performance through OCB. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga perawat Rumah Sakit Permata Bunda Kota Malang, yang berjumlah 95 orang. Sampel yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu sampel jenuh, yang mengambil seluruh jumlah perawat yang ada yaitu 95 orang. Hasil analisis penelitian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan rumusan masalah diketahui variabel on the job embeddedness mempunyai pengaruh signifikan dan berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel OCB yaitu sebesar 0,321. Variabel on the job embeddedness berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 0,421. Variabel OCB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 0,449. Berdasarkan penghitungan dalam mencari pengaruh secara tidak langsung, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh secara langsung antara on the job embeddedness terhadap kinerja karyawan lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan pengaruh secara tidak langsung antara on the job embeddedness terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui OCB. Abstract

Hotel Syari’ah adalah bangunan berkamar banyak yang disewakan sebagai tempat untuk menginap dan tempat makan orang yang sedang dalam perjalanan; bentuk akomodasi yang dikelola secara komersial, disediakan bagi setiap orang untuk memperoleh pelayanan, penginapan, makan dan minum dengan standar halal yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Hotel Grand Madani Mataram adalah salah satu hotel yang mengemas produk layanannya dengan label syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin melihat sejauh mana Hotel Grand Madani menerapkan konsep-konsep syari’ah dalam melayani para tamunya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang mengambil data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Beberapa peluang yang dimiliki oleh hotel Grand Madani dalam mengembangkan bisnisnya di antaranya adalah penduduk Nusa Tenggara Barat yang mayoritas muslim sangat diharapkan mendukung pengembangan produk hotel syari’ah baik dari segi SDM maupun pangsa pasar. Branding wisata halal yang sedang gencar didengungkan di Nusa Tenggara Barat perlu didukung oleh adanya Hotel dengan label syariah. Sedangkan tantangannya adalah semakin menjamurnya pembangunan hotel di Kota Mataram yang menyebabkan ketatnya persaingan. Standar pelayanan islami Hotel Grand Madani Mataram diterapkan pada hampir semua fasilitas dan layanan, baik fisik maupun non fisik. Standar pelayanan islami non fisik di antaranya adalah etika berbusana, mengucapkan salam, dan shalat berjamaah bagi karyawan. Layanan islami yang bersifat fisik di antaranya seperti fasilitas dalam kamar tamu yang menyediakan arah kiblat, sarana berwudu, alat perangkat shalat, al-Qur’an, dan kolam renang yang memisahkan laki-laki dan perempuan

Abstract

This paper aims to observe the full development of literature on the African continent through special attention to a world-leading literary scholar from Africa, Wole Soyinka with his masterpiece drama the Swanp Dwellers. This paper also explore the history of the greatness of Wole Soyinka who continually nurtured Yoruba cultural traditions through her works. More interestingly, the description of Yoruba culture is not only seen in his works, but also has colored the life of the author himself. Although his mind and personality were influenced by the outside world when he continued his studies in the United Kingdom, his love and love for local cultural traditions, especially Yoruba culture, remained something to be prioritized. The method used is descriptive qualitative by using content analysis approach . The result of the research shown that the Yoruba culture with contemporary stage reflected into swamp dweller drama and had been influenced others cultural  over the whole of Africa till now.Keywords: Yoruba, Wole Soyinka, Swamp Dwellers Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengamati secara utuh perkembangan  sastra di benua Afrika melalui perhatian khusus kepada seorang sarjana sastra terkemuka dunia yang berasal dari Afrika  yaitu Wole Soyinka dengan drama terkenalnya the Swamp Dwellers.  Tulisan ini juga akan menelusuri sejarah kehebatan Wole Soyinka yang secara terus menerus menyuburkan tradisi budaya Yoruba melalui karya-karyanya. Lebih menarik lagi penjabaran budaya Yoruba tidak hanya terlihat pada karya-karyanya, namun juga telah mewarnai kehidupan pengarang itu sendiri . Walaupun pikiran dan pribadinya telah dipengaruhi oleh dunia luar sewaktu beliau melanjutkan studinya di United Kingdom, namun cinta dan rasa kasihnya kepada tradisi budaya setempat terutama budaya Yoruba tetap menjadi sesuatu yang harus diutamakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan content analisis. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa budaya Yoruba dengan latar kontemporer tergambarkan melalui drama swamp dweller yang ditulis oleh Wole Soyinka dan juga telah mempengaruhi budaya lainnya di afrika hingga saat ini.. Kata kunci: Yoruba , Wole Soyinka, Swamp Dweller
